Review: Purchased 10 tickets from Metro entertainment for Wrestlemania. Got to the stadium, waited in line for hours, got through security just to find out that my tickets were void. They have been refunded. Not refunded to me but refunded and resold. Now nobody can give me an answer or my money back. And of course nobody is gonna bring back that event for my heartbroken kids.

Revdex.com,

Review: I purchase 3 tickets, priced at $226.00 each, Big Time Rush Concert on 7/10/13. My tickets were fraudulent due to a lady having the same tickets.

I purchase 3 tickets from Ticket Master, somehow it diverted me to the Metro Entertainment site. I purchased 3 tickets priced at $226.00 each for the Big Time Rush Concert on 7/10/13. My tickets were fraudulent due to a lady having the same tickets. When we arrived the tickets said already used. This business is a scam and when I called Metro Entertainment, they wanted the scan report from the venue Liffy Lube Live. I called Liffy Lube Live and they do not release the report.

Scam

1. The tickets were over priced $226.00 they on go for $110.00 per discussion with the box office representative at Liffy Lube Live

2. Fraudulent tickets a lady had the same tickets for the concert

3. Over price processing fee

This business is running a scam and diverts people that purchase tickets through Ticket Master.

I have an account with ticket master and somehow I was diverted to purchased these tickets.

Desired Settlement: I would like a settlement of tickets purchased for an event that double sold tickets.

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond to Ms. [redacted]'s concerns.

According to our customer service records Ms. [redacted] did place an order for tickets from Metro Entertainment through the website www.Official-Online-Tickets.com. Although neither Metro Entertainment nor Official Online Tickets are related to Ticketmaster in any way, it is possible that Ms. [redacted] was directed to Official Online Tickets' website by means of a search engine. Once Ms. [redacted] had selected the tickets she wished to purchase she was required to read and agree to the website's terms and policies before completing her purchase. These policies state:

General. Official-Online-Tickets.net acts as an intermediary between buyers and ticket sellers ("TICKET SELLERS") to facilitate the purchase and sale of event tickets, and as such is not directly involved in the actual ticket sale transaction between the buyers and TICKET SELLERS. All sales are final. As tickets sold through SITE are often obtained through the secondary market and prices are determined by the individual TICKET SELLER, the prices for tickets may be above or below face value.

Ms. [redacted] did contact our customer service department the day after the scheduled event to indicate a problem with her order. At this time she was asked to provide a letter from the venue that the tickets were not valid and to submit that to our office as soon as possible. As soon as we receive the requested information we will gladly help to investigate Ms. [redacted]'s concerns, however, at this time there is no reason or indication on our side as to why there may have been an issue concerning the tickets. Unfortunately, we are unable to investigate or provide further assistance until Ms. [redacted] provides our customer service department with this information. If she has any further questions I urge her to contact us at XXX-XXX-XXXX.

Review: I feel like I was ripped off. All I wanted was my money back and they hide behind a all sales are final quote.

I bought tickets to see a NIN concert in oct. first of all they way over charged for the ticket but that is my own fault. The shady part is that I get the tickets printed on what appears to be check paper and it is just a copy. I'm concerned that it is not real. On top of that there is no name on the ticket. Which also makes me feel it is not real. All I wanted was my money back for me to return it. They tell me that all sales are final and that they back their tickets 125%. Well sure you can throw out any number to try to make me feel better but it means nothing. Then they try to tell me to sell them on stubhub but how can I do that if I don't think they are real Desired Settlement: All I want to do is send back the "tickets" and get my money back. The show is not till oct so there is plenty of time.

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service very seriously and would like to take the time to address Ms. [redacted]'s concerns.

When Ms. [redacted] placed her order from her computer at the website, www.TicketCheckout.net, she was obliged to review her order and accept that website's terms and conditions before her order was complete. These terms and conditions clearly state:

General. TicketCheckout.net acts as an intermediary between buyers and ticket sellers ("TICKET SELLERS") to facilitate the purchase and sale of event tickets, and as such is not directly involved in the actual ticket sale transaction between the buyers and TICKET SELLERS. All sales are final. As tickets sold through SITE are often obtained through the secondary market and prices are determined by the individual TICKET SELLER, the prices for tickets may be above or below face value.

The website terms and conditions were available to Ms. [redacted] as a scroll box during the checkout process and as a link on each page of the site. If Ms. [redacted] did not click on the "yes" button on the checkout page that states "I agree to the Terms & Conditions," the software would have removed her from the checkout page and she would not have been able to go on to complete her order. Also, the total price, including service fees and delivery charges, was given to her before she gave her credit card information and completed her order. Ms. [redacted] chose to comply with the price and the terms before sending her final order for processing.

At no time before placing her order did Ms. [redacted] contact our Customer Service Department with any questions or for any clarification of the pricing and terms and conditions. If she was unsure about the order she was placing, she was free to call the Customer Service Department at the readily available number or to comparison shop at other sites before finalizing her order.

Additionally, Ms. [redacted] contacted our customer service department upon receiving her tickets and was informed that her tickets were printed on security paper. If someone attempts to copy the tickets the paper has obscured images that will be displayed on the copy rendering the tickets useless. This feature is used to protect the customer and to better guarantee the authenticity of the tickets.

Ms. [redacted] was educated to the fact that tickets are in many cases sold above face value and that www.TicketCheckout.net is neither a primary sale box office nor the venue. Ms. [redacted]'s freely-chosen acceptance of the price and the terms and conditions indicates that she did make a conscious and educated decision to purchase tickets at the price she agreed to.

There is no refund due.

Review: Today, Friday, May 3, 2013, I wanted to buy 3 tickets for the upcoming show starring John Cleese called "Last chance to see me before I'm dead" at the Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre in Toronto, Canada on Saturday, September 28, 2013. I used google to search for the event. The top ranked website for buiying tickets that I found was "tickets-center.com". That website looks like a legitimate source for the tickets of this event. I placed an order for 3 tickets and charged my MasterCard. I became more and more suspicious afterwards about the inflated price for the order. I did another google search to find out if this website is a scam, and sure enough it is: http://ticket-center.pissedconsumer.com/tickets-center-scam-XXXXXXXXXXXXXX.htmlI paid US $ 170.00 per ticket, plus additional bogus brokerage charges, which amounted to a total of US $ 723.40.It seems strange that the prices should be quoted in US dollars when the event is happening in Canada.I checked whether there is another source for tickets. I found out that you can still buy tickets for this show as of today from ticketmaster.ca. This is the pricing I obtain:Type: Regular TicketTicket Price: Can $ 83.39 x 3SUBTOTAL: Can $ 250.17Tickets-center.com is clearly a scam because it charges between triple and quadruple the actual cost of the tickets as quoted by ticketmaster.ca, and especially because seats are currently still available from ticketmaster.ca.

Product_Or_Service: event tickets

Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Refund

I want a full refund for the credit card transaction. I did not realize at the time I placed my order that "tickets-center.com" is a fraudulent, parasitic reseller. I thought that that's the official website of this event because it was the first ranked google search result.I also hope that the company that runs "tickets-center.com" (i.e., Metro Entertainment) will be fully investigated by law enforcement and shut down for fraudulent business practices.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond to Mr. [redacted]'s concerns.

The website where Mr. [redacted] placed his order for tickets is not owned, operated, or managed by Metro Entertainment and any concerns regarding the website itself should be brought to the site owner's attention.

When Mr. [redacted] placed his order from his computer at the website, www.Tickets-Center.com, he was obliged to review his order and accept that website's terms and conditions before his order was complete. These terms and conditions clearly state:

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT ACCEPT the response from the business.)

Metro Entertainment defrauded me. I was tricked into buying them at triple the face value, which is clearly a scam. Tickets-center.com is a fraud that needs to be shut down.

Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2013/05/13) */

Revdex.com,

As was explained in our initial response Metro Entertainment is not affiliated with Tickets-Center.com. We sell tickets through their website however do not own, operate, or manage the site. Also, we indicated that before Mr. [redacted] willingly chose to complete his purchase he was informed that the tickets he was purchasing could be above face value. Mr. [redacted] chose to complete his purchase at the price that was indicated on the checkout screen after having agreed to the website's policies. For these reasons a refund will not be provided.

Review: My friend and are going to the [redacted] next week to see the [redacted] Concert on October 2, 2013. When the tickets went up for sale online on July 26, 2013, I went to the [redacted] website to buy tickets and Metro Entertainment came up as the ticket vendor. I just assumed that it was the [redacted] preferred vendor so went through the motions to buy the tickets and I was surprised at the prices because I thought that they were supposed to be lower than what was listed and I wasnt able to pick the seats myself but only the section. I figured that maybe the prices for the tickets that I wanted were all sold out, so went ahead and bought the tickets because my friend and I love [redacted]. The tickets were non-refundable which is pretty normal. When I received the email confirmation of the tickets, the charges were pretty high for shipping (just regular mail and for other expenses). The total for two tickets was $449.34. It took over a week to receive them in the mail. When I received the tickets, in the mail the face value of the ticket prices were $73.00 each. The company had bought them from Live Nation. I could have saved over $200 by buying directly from Live Nation and I would have been able to pick the seats that I wanted. So two tickets with shipping and taxes, etc should have been no more than $200 total. I paid $449.34 for two tickets. That is $224.67 each and if you subtract $73.00 for the ticket, that comes to $151.67 profit for each ticket to Metro Entertainment which is a crime. I could have bought almost 3 tickets from Live Nation for the price of the one I paid by going through Metro Entertainment.I am outraged at overpaying so much for these tickets.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the excess service fee charges that I paid of over $300 for two tickets.

Review: Sent wrong seat tickets - will not refund

visited the official Kenny Chesney site, selected to purchase tickets. was shown a map of Anaheim stadium selected my seats on the floor in the F section. I purchased these tickets on 1/29/13 the concert was just on 7/27/13 once at the venue I was walking to go to the field and was told the seats were in the upper level. I was so upset and feel wrongly informed of this product. I thought I was purchasing from Ticket Master not some run of the mill scalper. I contacted them asking for a refund they said the only thing they can do is offer me a $30 credit towards other tickets. I paid $327.84 for these tickets then I purchased 2 new tickets in the 2nd row for a lot less. Desired Settlement: Full refund this is false advertising!

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond to Ms. [redacted] concerns.

Our customer service records indicate that Ms. [redacted] placed her order for concert tickets at www.TicketNetwork.com. When she visited TicketNetwork.com to place her order she was presented with a map of the venue in which to choose her seats. Although this event has passed * similar map can be seen here: http://www.ticketnetwork.com/tix/monster-energy-ama-supercross-XX-XX-XXXX-ticket... />
For the [redacted] Chesney concert there were additional sections on the field that were given letters to distinguish them, however the section numbers for all of the stadium seating remains the same. On this page, the customer can also see all of the available ticket listings on the left side of the map. Our records indicate that Ms. [redacted] selected tickets with the following description:

Venue: [redacted] Stadium in Anaheim, CA, United States of America

Section: 412-425 Row: A-J

Price: $132.00 Each Quantity: 2

At no time did her selection indicate that she was purchasing tickets in section F as she is now claiming. Further, sections XXX-XXX are clearly labeled as being in the upper level of the stadium. When Ms. [redacted] was completing her purchase she was provided with numerous opportunities to review her purchase before completing it to verify that she was purchasing.

Our records also indicate that Ms. [redacted] received her tickets via FedEx on February 25, 2013 more than 5 months prior to the event date. At no time during this time period did she contact our customer service department regarding her tickets.

We regret that Ms. [redacted] is now dissatisfied with her purchase, however she willingly chose to purchase tickets in the 400-level section and received those exact tickets. We hope this fully resolves the matter.

Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2013/08/10) */

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT ACCEPT the response from the business.)

As I explained they had a map of where the seats were located. That is what I went by, I have never been to this venue for a concert but the seats I choose were clearly on the field and would not have paid this amount for upper level seats. There was a switch in the purchase online.

Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2013/08/14) */

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing Ms. [redacted] continued concerns to our attention. As was stated in our initial response Ms. [redacted] willingly chose to select seats advertised as:

Section: 412-425 Row: A-J

It is quite possible that Ms. [redacted] had intended to purchase lower level tickets and then selected the above ticket group, or had seen "A-J" and mistook that for the field sections rather than the row listing, however as evidenced in our records Ms. [redacted] chose to complete her purchase for tickets in the 400level section, and received tickets in the 400level section.

We regret that Ms. [redacted] remains dissatisfied with her purchase however all of the information pertaining to her order was provided to her before she willingly chose to complete her purchase. Therefore she was made aware that she was purchasing tickets in the 400level section at a price of $132 per ticket. No refund will be provided.

Review: I purchased tickets through this web site thinking it was the official web site of the Tulsa PAC (oklahoma). I will admit I didn't read the fine print before I get started. When I typed Tulsa Pac this is the web site that came up when I went into it I saw in BIG WHITE letters TULSA TICKETS. The complaint I have is this company is selling tickets at 3xtimes the original ticket price which is a 125% increase of the ticket. The ticket purcahsed from the Tulsa PAC is $20 plus $3 service fee. Their ticket price was $53 plus a $7 service fee. I feel like this is in a form of scalping. When I printed my ticket is when I noticed something wrong because it printed with [redacted] name as the purchaser and using a mastercard to purchase the ticket. I purchased the tickets with a discover card and my name should be on the ticket. There is a 100% guarentee if unhappy. I called them because I wanted a refund they will not refund my money. I feel like I was scammed of at least $92.

Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Refund

I would like the difference in the amount that it would of cost to get them direct from the Tulsa Performing Art Center

Review: Comedy show tickets purchased thru what I thought was Ticketmaster and was charged $126 per ticket for a $25 tickets from a scalper.

I went to the Ticketmaster website on 3/1/2013 to purchase Kevin James tickets for a show at the Palace Theatre in Albany, NY on 6/2/2013. I requested best tickets avail and I was billed $252 for 2 tickets, I received the tickets and realized they had a face value of $25 each. I had no clue I had purchased these from a scalper until I received them in the mail, I thought I was getting the highest priced tickets when in fact I wasn't. I called Ticketmaster and was referred to Metro Entertainment. When I called them the representative advised I must have went to the wrong URL meanwhile I always order my tickets from the same Ticketmaster website. I tried to get help from Metro Entertainment and was basically told, too bad, so sad, we can't do anything about the fact that your paid $126 each for tickets valued at $25 and told me to file a complaint with the Revdex.com if I was still unhappy.Desired Settlement: Since I can't get the seats I paid for because they are sold out, I am requesting that they refund me the difference of my ticket minus the face value & surcharge which is prob roughly $170.

Review: I recently purchased tickets through Metro Entertainment, Inc. I bought them from what I thought was a accredited ticket store. Upon receiving the tickets I realized that the actual value of the tickets where $40.75 plus applicable taxes(printed on the tickets). They charged me $119.00 per ticket. I have contacted ticket master and they informed me that have have no affiliation with said company. This company chooses to buy tickets from official distributers and mark up the price to what ever they see fit. I have contacted the company and this was there response. . "Our company is part of the secondary market and we list our tickets based on the secondary market value. The market value is determined by the supply of and demand for the tickets. If the event is popular, this can lead to the market value being higher than the face value of the ticket. We also factor in additional fees that we were charged for acquiring the tickets."They are not part of a secondary market according to ticket master.

Review: I purchased tickets to a comedy show that was shown on channel 9 WGN for a comedy show. I purchased the tickets immediately and once I received the tickets the website now shows prices for the same show for 30.00 lawn chair seat. They sold me tickets for 100.00 ticket. I purchased 4. They will not refund me because it has been 10 days after purchase. They are now showing prices and if I had seen this I would not have purchased tickets. When I tried to return the tickets they stated either someone needed to be deathly ill or a car accident in order to receive a full discount and I would have to show proof of this. Show proof of a death or car accident? Are you serious? This would be the only way to receive a refund. I feel as a consumer it is wrong for them to represent people who are triple pricing tickets. And the only way to receive a refund is if someone had DIED!!!! or someone was in a car accident!!! and you have to show proof of that. This is just ridiculous!! There standards should be more towards the consumer and they are not willing to refund my tickets unless there is a death or a car accident. This is outrageous and ridiculous. The show is not until August 31st. When called I spoke to a [redacted] an she would not direct me to a manager nor give me any of personal who I could speak to regarding my concern. This is inappropriate and unprofessional she had an attitude as well and stated that is your fault you bought the tickets. I do not need this kind of service nor attitude from a company. ConcertTicketCenter.com acts as an intermediary between buyers and ticket sellers ("TICKET SELLERS") to facilitate the purchase and sale of event tickets, and as such is not directly involved in the actual ticket sale transaction between the buyers and TICKET SELLERS.

If Ms. [redacted] did not click on the "yes" button on the checkout page that asks "Have you read and do you agree to our terms and policies," the software would have removed her from the checkout page and she would not have been able to go on to complete her order. Also, the total price, including service fees and delivery charges, was given to her before she gave her credit card information and completed her order. Ms. [redacted] chose to comply with the price and the terms before sending her final order for processing.

In addition, the following footer can be found on the homepage, event listings page, and ticket listings page

ConcertTicketCenter.com and Inspirasoft, Inc provide an online ticket marketplace offering event tickets from a variety of sources via the secondary market. You are buying tickets from a third party; neither ConcertTicketCenter.com nor Inspirasoft, Inc are the ticket seller. Prices shown on this site are set by the sellers and may be greater than the face value printed on the ticket. All sales are final and all prices are listed in US dollars. This site is not affiliated with any box office, venue, team, artist or other organization. As such all information contained, including trademarked terms, is for descriptive purposes only.

Ms. [redacted] was educated to the fact that all sales are final, tickets are in many cases sold above face value and that www. ConcertTicketCenter.com is neither a primary sale box office nor the venue. Ms. [redacted] freely-chosen acceptance of the price and the terms and conditions indicates that she did make a conscious and educated decision to purchase tickets at the price she agreed to.

There is no refund due.

Review: Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was hung up on TWICE. I was also told that it was not their fault in any way that I purchased tickets for a 2pm show instead of an 8pm show. They also told me to try and sell tickets to ticketliquidator.com but that website tells me that I need a hard copy of the tickets in hand. Metro Entertainment will not even send me my tickets until 1-2 days before the event and Ticket liquidator requires tickets for sale to be posted at a minimum of 8 days before the event. We will attempt to stop payment to this company via our bank or file a dispute since the company in no way will help us.

We would like the tickets to the 8pm show instead of the 2pm show.

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service very seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond to Ms. Monaco's concerns.

According to the information she provided, the order she is referencing was placed under the name Michael Gallagher from the website www.Official-Online-Tickets.com. Prior to completing the purchase the customer must agree to the website's terms and policies which clearly state:

All sales are final. Since tickets are a one-of-a-kind item and not replaceable, there are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations.

Mr. Gallagher did email our customer service department asking if the tickets could be switched for another time and was provided with this response:

Hello Michael,

Thank you very much for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we do not allow exchanges. Tickets, unlike other retail items, have a specific time limit on their value. As an event nears, they become harder to sell and their worth usually declines. Once the event passes, they have no value at all and are therefore unusable. As a result, exchanging a ticket now means you wouldn't be returning it at its purchased value.

Due to these factors, we're sorry, but we cannot allow any exchanges on your ticket order. Please note, too, that this policy is explained fully in our "Terms and Conditions." It is also a policy enforced reliably by all major and minor ticketing organizations in the country. Although frustrating, it is necessitated by the realities of supply and demand.

Best wishes,

Customer Support Team

Review: I was charged for 2 tickets at $126 each plus $50.40 in fees and $15 for FedEx 2nd day service for a total of $317.40. I received 2 tickets valued at $45 each. When I called to complain that I was charged double for each ticket, I was told that was my problem and there was nothing that they would do about it.I then contacted my credit card company which agreed that was fraud and issued a refund to my account. I did not use the tickets. I am leaving this issue in the hands of the credit card company.I also ordered 2 tickets for a concert in July. The price was $102 for the tickets plus $42.84 in fees and $15 for FedEx 2day.The FedEx fee for 2 day service is their policy; I would have appreciated that they send me the tickets upfront and not hold them to the last minute. If I don't receive $102 seats, I will complain again to the credit card company

Review: A return call from Metro Entertainment appears to be a genuine confirmation of tickets being shipped. Instead it is a third party sales "trap."

After paying a premium for a ticket to a Broadway show, I received a call from Metro Entertainment that appeared to be a confirmation of tickets having been shipped. The representative was clearly reading a script and began with the standard "thank you for purchasing tickets...we hope you enjoy the event, ect." The representative then began to talk more about shipping details, further adding to the apparent legitimacy of the call. When I chimed in that I had already received the tickets, that seemed to throw the gentleman off script, and I soon began to realize that he was calling about something else.

What followed was an EXTREMELY high pressure description of what appeared to be the typical "basically free trial, with the OPTION to opt out of X offer." The representative was rushing through the details so quickly that it was obvious that he was trying to get through his script before I could hang up. From my understanding of the offer, I would be receiving a large number of "gas coupons" in the mail, and for only $1 I could receive even more coupons. After that point I would be billed on a recurring basis between $35-70 per month (I can not remember the exact amount). I never was asked for authorization for the $1 transaction, and I assumed that I would have the choice to "opt-in" with the coupons in the mail. The man kept saying things like "don't throw away these great coupons," further reenforcing my belief that I wasn't being charged now. Again, I was never explicitly asked if I wanted to purchase coupons for $1. I tried to thank the representative and end the call, but he immediately said he "need to transfer me" to his customer sales supervisor to complete my order.

At this point a female "supervisor" got on the line. I still was not completely sure what was going on, and still thought she was going to confirm I received my tickets. Instead she immediately jumped into the fine print of the offer I had unknowingly just agreed to. I would be charged $1 now, and then charged X amount on a recurring basis until I canceled. At that point I interrupted her and explained that I never authorized any transaction. The representative then condescendingly stated that "I just did" when I spoke with the man before her. I then explained that I thought I would be charged the $1 if I opted in, which I do not. She reassured me that I could cancel at anytime, at which point I said that I didn't care-and I do not want to be billed for ANYTHING else. After a few moments of further trying to convince me to try the offer, she assured me that I would not be billed any additional amount, and abruptly hung up.

This experience rubbed me the wrong way in numerous ways. First of all I spent WELL over face value for the ticket to the show. This is common when buying a ticket through a third-party source, or a broker. However when you are paying a premium for a ticket, you do not expect to be sucked into a tacky sales pitch.

In this instance I felt as if it were a "bait and switch," where I was offered tickets, I purchased tickets, and then I was almost sucked into a completely different product that I had no interest in buying on a recurring basis. While I DID receive the tickets I purchased, I didn't know I would be almost get trapped into additional fees. The rushed script reading, vague descriptions, and transfer to a supervisor or sped through the fine print made me feel as if I was being deceived into unknowingly authorizing additional charges. I truly am worried knowing that Metro Entertainment now has my credit card information on file.

Purchased: 4/27/XXXX X:13:35 PM

Invoice #: XXXXXXXDesired Settlement: I am seeking a refund of $30.16 from the "Other Expenses" category of the invoice. After paying $163 for tickets and $25 for shipping, I do not feel it is right to charge an additional $30.16 and THEN try to solicit me for an additional sales pitch from a third-party. I feel your company acted extremely inappropriately, and as a paying customer, did not appreciate it.

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond to Mr. [redacted]'s concerns.

According to our customer service records the call that Mr. [redacted] received was not placed by one of our representatives. It is possible that the website that he used to place his order may have an affiliation with additional marketers that promote additional sales after making an initial order. Therefore, we are unable to address his claims further since any additional marketing efforts were not done by Metro Entertainment nor were they done on behalf of, or for the benefit of Metro Entertainment.

If he has further questions about the additional marketing call, he should contact the website where he placed the order to request further information.

Review: I recently purchased tickets through Metro Entertainment. I received the tickets within a few weeks, to my surprise the tickets were MORE than double in price. I understand that there are additional fees when purchasing tickets over the phone, but MORE than 100% increase? I am a hard working individual that feels totally taken advantage of! Can this be possible? I phoned Metro Entertainment about this matter. They apologized and said there was nothing that they could do for me. When I called to purchase the tickets, I thought that I was calling the venue itself, not a third party promoter. I will certainly be more careful next time. I was wondering it you could guide me in some way as to get some of my money back?I want to keep the tickets but the price hike was Unbelievable!Thank You,[redacted]

Review: 3/29/13, was online for Ticketmaster and was unknowingly directed to Metro Ent. Way overcharged-called within 3 hrs of purchase but co will not refund

On March 29, 2013 I went online for the website of Ticketmaster which is a well known ticket sales company in my home area. I somehow, unknowingly, got directed to Metro Entertainment. I was told that the show I wanted to go to was just about sold out but they did have a few tickets available. I asked for 2 tickets in the orchestra section as close to the stage as possible. I was told that these tickets were good seats in that orchestra section with no obstructions. I was charged $368.00. At the time, I thought the price was high but I didn't know the actual cost of the ticets and I thought I was dealing with Ticketmaster. When I got off the phone, I checked the Palace Theater website which is where the show is going to be and found out that the tickets were selling from $35-$55 per ticket. I immediately called Metro Entertainment and was told that there would be absolutely no refunds for any reason. I was told that I should try to sell the tickets when I got them. When I received the tickets, I found that the seats were way in the back of the theater and off to the right (row Q). Even if I could sell them, I could never recoup the amount of money I was charge. The price printed on the tickets is $39.75 and they even have "TICKETMASTER" printed in the righthand corner. I can't help feeling that someone simply bought tickets from Ticketmaster and then resold them to me. What a ripoff.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for any money paid over the face value of the tickets.

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond to Ms. [redacted]'s concerns.

According to our customer service department Ms. [redacted] did place her order over the phone with a representative from the website www.FrontRowTickets.com. When she called the customer service department she was informed that all orders placed over the phone are subject to the same terms and conditions that are on the website. Additionally, before Ms. [redacted] gave the customer service representative permission to the place the order she was informed of the following:

The website is a member of the secondary market which means that it is not affiliated with any venue or artist; ticket prices may be above or below the face value of the tickets; and that all sales are final, there are no refunds exchanges, or cancellations.

Ms. [redacted] agreed to these conditions and requested that her order be completed. At no time did the customer service representative indicate that she had contacted Ticketmaster, nor did the website purport itself to being affiliated with either the venue or Ticketmaster. Also, since neither the website nor Metro Entertainment are affiliated with Ticketmaster it is not possible for Ms. [redacted] to be directed from their site to the secondary market. It is very possible that she did a search for the term "tickets" and the event she was looking to go to, and visited the website where she promptly called the customer service department.

Our records also indicate that on March 29, shortly after completing her purchase, she contacted our customer service center again to state that she had purchased tickets on the wrong date claiming that she would be out of town and unable to use the tickets. She was informed at this time that the website does not have a cancellation policy and they would be unable to cancel or refund her purchase.

We regret that Ms. [redacted] is dissatisfied with her purchase after the fact, however, all of the information necessary to make an informed and educated purchase was provided to her before she agreed to complete the transaction. If she has further questions on her purchase I recommend that she contacts our customer service department at X- XXX-XXX-XXXX.

Review: I purchased 2 tickets for $783 for a concert. Metro entertainment had [redacted] send an envelope to my home. When I opened the envelope, I saw another envelope that looked like it was suppose to hold tickets. It did not hold any tickets. It only held an invoice. The invoice [redacted] had a note that read, "expected arrival date 10/17/2013". I was confused and didn't know if I should expect my tickets on October 17th or if they should have been in the envelope. I emailed the company and they told me the tickets were in the envelope and wished that I have a good time at the concert. Problem is that I never got any tickets!! It is now September 27th and I still do not have these tickets for a concert one month away. All I want are these 2 tickets I paid so much money for. I will not use this company again, but I am very upset they cannot send me replacement tickets. I did buy insurance for these tickets as well.[redacted]Desired Settlement: If I cannot get the tickets I ordered, I would like them to send me a full refund along with tickets of a lesser value since it is likely the show is now sold out.

Review: Company advertised as the "official" ticket outlet for a concert, when in fact they charged me twice face value.

Company website purported themselves to be the official ticket outlet for the Josh Groban concert in Kansas City for Oct 16, 2013. Turns out they are just a scalper and charged twice face value for the tickets, with no indication to me what the face value of the tickets were. Their website also claims that customer satisfaction is guaranteed, but after contacting their customer service was informed that no refund would be given even though I had yet to receive the tickets. This is complete false advertising and fraud from where I sit, but given they already have my money I don't have any power to do anything about it.Desired Settlement: I expect a full refund of $245.58. Their website misled me to believe they were something that they were not, and did not inform me that I was paying twice the face value for the tickets. Their website also claims 100% customer satisfaction guaranteed, yet they refuse to provide a refund, even though a refund was requested prior to the tickets being received.

Review: I purchased tickets to game 6 of the 2013 World Series on line. I received e-tickets after calling to find out why I hadn't receive the tickets, to the event, however, I never received the physical tickets. I have contacted Metro Entertainment multiple times, almost weekly, and still have not received the physical tickets. The most common story I was told is that this is their busiest season and didn't have time to mail the tickets. Another story was that the tickets are in a shoebox and someone needed to go through them and send me the tickets as I was the only person receiving the physical tickets because I was promised the physical tickets.During today's telephone conversation I was told that I might not receive the tickets as they hadn't received permission to mail the tickets from the company's owner. Every telephone call has resulted in a different story.Desired Settlement: Receipt of the physical tickets.

Review: I purchased tickets to The Book of Mormon; when reviewing the seats and prices, these seats were mid priced for decent seating (per the seating chart). I didn't access the link until the day before the showing and noticed they were not issued in my name, and also reflected face value of $37.50. I paid $127 per ticket, plus surcharges equalling $312.30 for the absolute WORST seats in the entire theatre. I called the toll free number to complain, and stated I was not happy and wanted to speak to a supervisor; I was told I would receive the same response, which is the prices fluctuate based on "fair market value". I again expressed my dissatisfaction, but decided to go ahead and go to the play. Only when we arrived, we were in the balcony, row x....the VERY BACK SEATS OF THE WHOLE VENUE. I did not use the tickets and called requesting a refund; only to speak to "[redacted]" who clearly has taken many calls of this nature, and explained the sales are all final. I want to report them to Revdex.com; I requested reversal of charges to my credit card company, and I [redacted]l take to the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I did not use tickets, so I would like a refund for my purchase.
