Review: Hello my name is [redacted], today I am filing an complaint on Metro Entertainment. I processed [redacted] concert tickets for Dec 12, was told that I would seated on the main floor (floor seats), seated close to stage. I bought these tickets treating myself to something nice (haven't had the time to take time out for myself in a while). When I received the tickets I found out that I didn't have floor seats and I was no were close to the stage. There is no refund for my purchase, which is fine under the circumstances that I got what I wanted. I am very displeased with metro-entertainment, I feel I was lied and cheated to. Its not fair that I was told one thing and received another. I really appreciate you taking the time out to read this Thank You...[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like to receive the tickets I was promised or anther ticket of my choosing. If all fails a refund. Thank You

Review: Concert tickets were presented as front row orchestra seats and they are actually in the rear of the venue.

I asked for 2 front row seats to the Switchfoot concert at the Keswick Theater in Glenside, PA. They sold me 2 tickets for the orchestra section for $233.50 (face value = $58 for the 2). I received the tickets and they are in the rear of the theater. When I called for a refund or exchange, they said there was nothing they can do. I have never seen the orchestra section in the rear of a venue. I called the Keswick and they agreed that the orchestra section of the venue is right in front of the stage. I was willing to pay the price to be in the front but I can get the tickets they sold me for $58 from the theater.Desired Settlement: Full refund or correct tickets.

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond to Mrs. [redacted]'s concerns.

Our customer service records indicate that Mrs. [redacted] did not place this order over the phone with a customer service representative. Rather, Mrs. [redacted] placed the order using her own computer by selecting her own seats and completing her own purchase viw www.TicketsMore.com.

A copy of her order receipt shows that she willingly chose to purchase tickets labeled as:

Section: Orchestra Row: Z

Price: $95.00 Each Quantity: 2

The accompanying map clearly labeled this venue as having only 1 level with rows AA-Z. Although she selected tickets in Row Z, she was actually provided with tickets in Row O which is an upgrade from her original purchase.

Additionally, when Mrs. [redacted] was completing her purchase she was required to read and agree to the website's policies. These policies very clearly state:

General. TicketsMore.com acts as an intermediary between buyers and ticket sellers ("TICKET SELLERS") to facilitate the purchase and sale of event tickets, and as such is not directly involved in the actual ticket sale transaction between the buyers and TICKET SELLERS. All sales are final. As tickets sold through SITE are often obtained through the secondary market and prices are determined by the individual TICKET SELLER, the prices for tickets may be above or below face value.

Without reading and agreeing to these policies Mrs. [redacted]'s order would not have been placed. She was free to contact our customer service department at the readily available phone number at any time if she had questions about the order she was placing or about the terms and policies.

Mrs. [redacted] willingly agreed to purchase two tickets in the Orchestra in Row Z at the price she selected. Metro Entertainment received her order, and actually supplied her with tickets in Row O. Therefore, there is no refund due.

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service very seriously and would like to take the time to address Ms. [redacted]'s concerns.

When Ms. [redacted] placed her order from her computer at the website, www.BoxOfficeTicketSales.com, she was obliged to review her order and accept that website's terms and conditions before her order was complete. These terms and conditions clearly state:

General. BoxOfficeTicketSales.com acts as an intermediary between buyers and ticket sellers ("TICKET SELLERS") to facilitate the purchase and sale of event tickets, and as such is not directly involved in the actual ticket sale transaction between the buyers and TICKET SELLERS. All sales are final. As tickets sold through SITE are often obtained through the secondary market and prices are determined by the individual TICKET SELLER, the prices for tickets may be above or below face value.

The website terms and conditions were available to Ms. [redacted] as a scroll box during the checkout process and as a link on each page of the site. If Ms. [redacted] did not click on the "yes" button on the checkout page that states "I agree to the Terms & Conditions," the software would have removed her from the checkout page and she would not have been able to go on to complete her order. Also, the total price, including service fees and delivery charges, was given to her before she gave her credit card information and completed her order. Ms. [redacted] chose to comply with the price and the terms before sending her final order for processing.

At no time before placing her order did Ms. [redacted] contact our Customer Service Department with any questions or for any clarification of the pricing and terms and conditions. If she was unsure about the order she was placing, she was free to call the Customer Service Department at the readily available number or to comparison shop at other sites before finalizing her order.

Ms. [redacted] was educated to the fact that tickets are in many cases sold above face value and that www.BoxOfficeTicketSales.com is neither a primary sale box office nor the venue. Ms. [redacted]'s freely-chosen acceptance of the price and the terms and conditions indicates that she did make a conscious and educated decision to purchase tickets at the price she agreed to.

There is no refund due.

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing Ms. [redacted]'s continued concerns to our attention. As we stated in our previous response Ms. [redacted] was made aware, and agreed to, the website's policies that state tickets may be above or below face value. If she had questions about these policies or wanted further clarification on the pricing of the tickets she was free to contact a customer service representative at any time.

Ms. [redacted] was well informed that she was purchasing tickets on the secondary market and that the price per ticket may be above or below face value. We regret that she is dissatisfied with her purchase after the fact, however there is no refund due.

Review: On March 18, 2013 I purchased two tickets online for the New York City Ballet (David H. Koch Theater) performance on Friday May 17, 2013 at 8PM. The tickets are: Left/Orchestra D 21 and Left/Orhestra D 23. The tickets including the $2.00 facility fee are $31.00 each. I received my tickets today (March 20) and was shocked to find that my credit card had been charged a total of $297.12 for two tickets that cost $31.00 each. When I telephoned the company,Metro Entertainment Inc,they told me there was nothing that they could (or would)do to correct this appalling and illegal situation.

At no time did the tickets she purchased indicate that she was paying $31 per ticket. Review: Purchased quality seats and received inferior 2nd rate seating tickets instead for half of what I paid for.

I purchased two American Idol tickets (Knoxville) on 051213 for balcony seats in section 310 row 20 for $76 each. On 052013, I received e tickets for section 115 row 26 with no notification of any changes or refunds. These tickets were $33 each and the seating is not where I wanted to sit or paid for. The name on the tickets is not mine.

When I called customer service, I was told I should have been notified. No one will help me with my original seating or a refund. Desired Settlement: I am requesting my original seating that I paid the full amount for.

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond to Ms. [redacted]'s concerns.

According to our records when Ms. [redacted] purchased her tickets she did choose to purchase tickets in section 310, however the venue had later made the decision to limit ticket sales to the lower levels, meaning the tickets that were purchased in the 300 level section were relocated to the 100s.

Please note that the website's terms and policies, which Ms. [redacted] agreed to before completing her purchase, do state:

Ticket Availability. SITE cannot guarantee ticket availability until USER is in possession of USER'S tickets. Generally, all ticket listings on SITE are a unique set of tickets from an individual TICKET SELLER. Some ticket listings on SITE may only be representations of available tickets and not actual seat locations or currently available tickets. Occasionally tickets ordered may no longer be available at the price or in the quantity originally ordered at the time the order is received. If equivalent or better seat locations are available at the same price, TICKET SELLER will fill the order with the alternative seat locations. If no alternates are available, either USER'S credit card will not be charged at all or the entire amount charged will be refunded, and USER will be notified that the ticket request has been rejected.

Also, Ms. [redacted] was aware that the website does not allow for cancellations or refunds of any kind. Lastly, since the change in Ms. [redacted]'s seating is considered an upgrade and was not the result of any wrongdoing on the part of Metro Entertainment, no refund will be provided for this order. We hope this fully explains the matter.

Consumer Response /* (2110, 7, 2013/06/06) */

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the partial settlement response from the business.)

I understand the "no refund/no cancellation policy" of the Metro Entertainment company. What I have a problem with is the lack of communication from this company.

I never received any explanation or information from this company reference the change in seating from the time I purchased the tickets on 051213 to the time I printed out the e tickets on 052013. However, after numerous attempts of calling this company, and the filing of this complaint with the Revdex.com, "[redacted]" from Metro Entertainment did return my call. He advised me that I had been "upgraded" to the lower seats and that the name "[redacted] on my tickets was standard practice with his company. (If I understand this correctly, Metro Entertainment buys multiple tickets in advance at a discount rate and resells the ticket to the consumer at the higher rate.) He did not tell me that the balcony would not be used by the arena. Which would make this alternate seating understandable.

I was very upset with this new seating because I was purchasing the tickets as a gift for an 80 year old woman who did not want to sit near the stage. If I had known that we would not get the seats that I purchased, I would have never bought the tickets.

In selecting a response for settlement, none of the options actually fit my complaint. I am picking the "company offered a partial settlement" because I was given an explanation for the change of seating.

Review: On Sept.XX XXXX I ordered 4 tickets online through TicketNetwork for a show on Dec.15 at the Nassau coliseum and received a confirmation letter stating the seats I ordered as being sect. 112 row K which was correct. I was told they would be sent in time for the show. Upon delivery I saw the tickets were nowhere near the seats I ordered, they were in section 104 row AA. It was stated on the cover sheet that these were now my tickets all sales final, There are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations. I was told if the seats were not available, replacements of equal or better value would be sent. When we went to the show the seats were to the side and on ground floor, they were also cheaper in price than what I paid. After trying to work this problem out with TicketNetwork over the course of many e-mails and phone calls, I was informed that Metro Entertainment would have to be dealt with due to the fact that they were in charge of ticket distribution. Contacting [redacted] at Metro through e-mail then phone was disappointing to say the least. At that point I filed a dispute with my business debit card that I used to buy the tickets but was told it was past the 30 day period to report any disputes due to it being a business card.I have the confirmation order, copies of the sent tickets and the cover letter along with all e-mail correspondence. These tickets were a birthday gift to my wife and a treat for my son and daughter in-law, all of which were uncomfortable and dissatisfied with the seating location.

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond to Mr. [redacted]'s concerns.

When Mr. [redacted] completed his purchase on www.TicketNetwork.com he was required to read and agree to the website's policies. These policies clearly state:

Above Face Value

Tickets sold through SITE are often obtained through secondary market TICKET SELLERS and are being resold, in many cases, above the price or "face value" listed on the ticket.

Ticket Availability

SITE cannot guarantee ticket availability until USER is in possession of their tickets.

If equivalent or better seat locations are available at the same price, the TICKET SELLER will fill the order with the alternative seat locations. If no alternates are available, either the USER's credit card will not be charged at all or the entire amount will be refunded, and USER will be notified that the ticket request has been rejected.

According to our records Mr. [redacted] received tickets in section 104 row AA when he ordered section 112 row K. Since row AA is closer to the stage than row K and sections 112 and 104 are on the same level Metro Entertainment substituted Mr. [redacted]'s tickets in accordance with the website's policies.

However, our records also indicate that Mr. [redacted] did file a chargeback in February and did win that chargeback which means that he has already received a complete refund of his purchase which is why Metro Entertainment will not be providing any further compensation.

Review: I paid for tickets in a certain section of the theater and paid appropriate pricing. When I received my tickets they are rear balcony farthest from the stage and a much lower ticket value than I was charged.

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond to Ms. [redacted]'s concerns.

After looking into Ms. [redacted]'s complaint it appears that her concerns are better directed towards the website where she placed her order. It appears that the website was not displaying the correct map for Ms. [redacted] to make an accurate purchase. As you can see by visiting our site: http://www.metroentertainment.com/ResultsTicket.aspx?evtid=XXXXXXX&event=Wicked the tickets Ms. [redacted] purchased were labeled as Zone F, which is very clearly the second balcony of the theater, however the website where Ms. [redacted] placed her order had an outdated image which indicated Zone F as much closer to the stage.

This error was not caused by Metro Entertainment, however we did forward her concerns to the website who agreed to provide Ms. [redacted] with a complete refund of her purchase. She is still able to use the tickets that we have provided to her, but a check in the amount of $171.40 will be sent to her via FedEx.

We hope this fully resolves the matter.

Review: Bought tickets for a show that were reserved however the show changed to general admission but they are still charging me over GA price.

Bought tickets, and called because I received an email. They let me know my show has changed and there was no reserved sitting and it was all general admission and that price was $10 less than what I paid so they would refund me $40 for the 4 tickets. Looking at general admission it was actually $40 less then what I paid so I should have received $160 so I called them back. Even on their website they had tickets that were $30 less than what they were charging me. He let me know he can give me $100 refund but all sales are final. I agreed to that even though I'm still over paying $60. My complaint is that they should not be able to over sell on tickets and if there are "changes" made I should be able to get a full refund but they said I could not. My complaint is to be helpful to others so they don't get ripped off. This business is not fair and they price all general admission tickets differently when they should be priced the same. The value is $55.65 but they are still over charging me and I'm paying $75, this is not fair. I want the tickets so I agreed to this amount but I should be paying $55.65 not $75.Desired Settlement: Ticket master is selling all general admission tickets for this show at $55.65. That is what I should be charged and all general admission prices for an event should be the same. I am still being over charged $75 for each ticket. With a loss of $80.

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service very seriously and would like to take the time to address Ms. [redacted]'s concerns.

When Ms. [redacted] placed her order from her computer at the website, www.ClearviewTickets.com, she was obliged to review her order and accept that website's terms and conditions before her order was complete. These terms and conditions clearly state:

General. ClearviewTickets.com acts as an intermediary between buyers and ticket sellers ("TICKET SELLERS") to facilitate the purchase and sale of event tickets, and as such is not directly involved in the actual ticket sale transaction between the buyers and TICKET SELLERS. All sales are final. As tickets sold through SITE are often obtained through the secondary market and prices are determined by the individual TICKET SELLER, the prices for tickets may be above or below face value.

Event Listings. SITE does not guarantee the accuracy of event information on SITE including but not limited to event name, event location or venue, event start time, or event date.

Since venues and events are subject to change the website's policies state that this information cannot be guaranteed to the customer. Unfortunately the venue did change the seating arrangement for this event after Ms. [redacted] placed her order and in the interest of customer service we offered her a total refund of $116 back from her original purchase. Although the policies did not require this refund, we did contact Ms. [redacted] to notify her of the seating change and to proactively offer this refund.

Ms. [redacted] was educated to the fact that tickets are in many cases sold above face value and that www.ClearviewTickets.com is neither a primary sale box office nor the venue. Ms. [redacted]'s freely-chosen acceptance of the price and the terms and conditions indicates that she did make a conscious and educated decision to purchase tickets at the price she agreed to.

There is no further refund due.

Worst Customer service business, at first they were telling me that the general admission tickets were $10 less than reserved. Then when I looked online they had tickets for general admission tickets that were $40 less, not $10 when I called back the guy on the phone said "oh I just updated my comp so we have tickets that are less so we will refund you a little bit more." Will never buy tickets from here again. Lesson learned, this place scams people.

Review: Bait and Switch My wife decided to surprise me as a Father's day gift to go to the Jill Scott Concenrt at Wolf Trap, VA. When she got "online" to purchase the tickets, somehow she was pushed to metro entertainment to purchase tickeets. She wanted to get decent seats and got seats in REAR Orchestra, 4 to be exact. metro, charged her under the cloak of Wolf Trap $250.00 for each ticket. Legally there is obviously nothing I can do about Metro entertainment not refunding my money,I did agree to pay the money not realizing how way overpriced the tickets were. But it's hard for me to imagine a company would rip people off like this, yes they have the legal right to not refund the money, but I will make sure the word gets out about this horrible, greedy company. [redacted]

Revdex.com,

We are unfortunately unable to find any order that was placed under the name [redacted]. Can he please provide an order ID number that was given to him at the time of purchase, or the name that was used to place the order so we can better assist him?

Thank you,

Metro Entertainment

Review: I ordered tickets to [redacted] from Metro Entertainment on 8/16/2013. Their website did not mention anywhere how much the service charge was going to be. I did not see it until I had clicked submit to order. I read through their disclosure, which did not mention the service charge amount either. They charged $43.50 per ticket as service charge on top of the ticket price being higher than normal. I emailed them to cancel right away. I told them not to mail me the tickets. I notified my bank to deny the charge. My bank told me that if the charge posted to my account from pending transactions, I should dispute it. I called the company and told them I would refuse the [redacted] shipment, since they sent it to me several days later anyway. The guy on the phone told me to just refuse it and send it back. The bank would have to negotiate with their billing department for the refund. It is now 8/8/2013. They have gotten the tickets back, but I have not received a refund of $399.

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing Ms. [redacted] concerns to our attention. We take customer service seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond to this matter.

Our customer service records indicate that Ms. [redacted] placed her order from her own computer via the website [redacted] rather than over the phone with a customer service representative. Therefore when she selected the tickets she wished to purchase she was brought to the website's checkout page. At the top of the page she is required to select the amount of tickets that she wanted to purchase. On the right side of that box is the following:

Tickets: 2 x $150.00

Delivery: -

Total: -

Ms. [redacted] was then prompted to enter her delivery method and she selected "Standard Delivery". As soon as the delivery information was entered the box above filled in the remaining information:

Tickets: 2 x $150.00

Service fee: 2x $42.00

Delivery: $15.00

Total: $399.00

If Ms. [redacted] had failed to fill in this information then she would have been given an error message when she tried to submit her order for processing. Additionally, if she had not seen the order total in this top section, even though she would not have been required to scroll back up when the total was given, before completing her order she was brought to a final review page that provided all of the information necessary to complete the purchased. This includes the event information and location along with the complete breakdown and total of her purchase. This was an additional opportunity to review her purchase after it was placed if she had not seen the total price on the checkout page.

Also, before Ms. [redacted] submitted her order she was also required to read and agree to the website's policies. These policies clearly state:

General. [redacted] acts as an intermediary between buyers and ticket sellers ("TICKET SELLERS") to facilitate the purchase and sale of event tickets, and as such is not directly involved in the actual ticket sale transaction between the buyers and TICKET SELLERS. All sales are final. As tickets sold through SITE are often obtained through the secondary market and prices are determined by the individual TICKET SELLER, the prices for tickets may be above or below face value.

Schedule of Fees and Charges. The price charged to USER'S credit card beyond the price of the individual tickets may include the following fees and charges:

*Service Fee: Cost per ticket associated with SITE operation, customer service center operation, and other costs associated with the fulfillment of USER'S ticket request.

*Delivery: Costs associated with the Delivery Method chosen by USER and the SITE'S arrangement of USER'S ticket delivery by FULFILLER.

The total price stated is the entire amount charged to USER, including each ticket's price as set by FULFILLER, Service Fee, and Delivery.

At no time did Ms. [redacted] contact our customer service department for help when trying to place her order or for clarification on the website's terms and policies. As the Revdex.com can see, the policies clearly indicate that all sales are final, and that the total price includes an additional service fee and delivery fee.

Ms. [redacted] tickets will be sent to her precisely as she ordered them which is consistent with the website's policies that she willingly agreed to. For these reasons no refund will be provided.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: they engage in fraudulent marketing. Their website design does not allow the customer easily see what the total will be until they have clicked Continue. The credit card is already charged at this point and since sales cannot be cancelled, there is nothing one can do about it. They claim that you have another chance to see the charges even if you don't scroll up to see them. That is not true. You can see them after your card is charged. That is when I realized what an outrageous amount they were charging as a service charge. [redacted] charges around $12.00 per ticket.

Review: I purchased tickets online in good faith for an event on March 20th I was told the ticket price was $172.00. When the ticket arrived it said $85.00.

I bought 2 tickets for a total of $410.00. After discovering they were overcharging me by 200% per ticket, I called to cancel. I was told they had a no cancelation policy! I then contacted Am Express to deny the charge on my credit card. I then purchased two new tickets from a reputable seller in a better location closer to the stage and on the first floor vs 2nd floor rear mezzanine. That cost for 2 tickets with shipping and handling was $254.00. I was overcharged by Metro Entertainment by $156.00! This is an exorbitant markup. I regret the day I did business with them and hope that elderly citizens or others do not fall prey to these people.Desired Settlement: I did not use the tickets they sent me. I asked for an address to return them so they could resell them and they told me to resell them myself! They are rude and careless, one gal sort of laughed and said "you can't cancel". No sympathy no compassion just high profit from the unsuspecting buyer.

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service very seriously and would like to take the time to address Ms. [redacted]'s concerns.

When Ms. [redacted] placed her order from her computer at the website, www.newyorkcitytheatre.com, she was obliged to review her order and accept that website's terms and conditions before her order was complete. These terms and conditions clearly state:

General. NewYorkCityTheatre.com acts as an intermediary between buyers and ticket sellers ("TICKET SELLERS") to facilitate the purchase and sale of event tickets, and as such is not directly involved in the actual ticket sale transaction between the buyers and TICKET SELLERS.

Ms. [redacted] was educated to the fact that tickets are in many cases sold above face value and that www.newyorkcitytheatre.com is neither a primary sale box office nor the venue. Ms. [redacted]'s freely-chosen acceptance of the price and the terms and conditions indicates that she did make a conscious and educated decision to purchase tickets at the price she agreed to.

There is no refund due.

Review: tickets purchased; led to believe that they would be similar to the face value of the issued ticket. service charge was to include post.

issued ticket value is $97 each. charged to visa $434.22 for 2 tickets; $40 shipping, $158 each ticket, $39.11 service charge per ticket I was informed was the breakdown after contacting them. The original price of the ticket should have been "close" to the face value plus service charge of $39.11 per ticket; not the case!Desired Settlement: I am want to be compensated for the incremental charges.

spoke to their office to both Brian/Ryan (answered to both) and Nicholas (supervisor), they advised that they would not The sales agent was vey misleading in the pricing of the tickets and the service charge was to include delivery of tickets!

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond to Ms. [redacted]'s concerns.

According to our customer service records Ms. [redacted] placed her order over the phone with a customer service representative from the website FrontRowickets.com. Before Ms. [redacted] even provided any personal information to the representative she was given a complete breakdown of her order which included the following information:

Tickets: 2 x$158.00

Service Fee: 2 x$39.11

International Express Delivery: $40.00

Total: $434.22

Ms. [redacted] would have then given the representative her billing information. However, before completing the purchase the customer service representative explained to Ms. [redacted] that she was placing an order on the secondary ticket market which means that ticket prices could be above or below face value. In addition, the representative informed her that the website is neither a box office nor a venue and that all sales are final.

Before Ms. [redacted] spoke with a representative there was an initial phone prompt which also instructed her that any order placed over the phone is subject to the terms and conditions on the website.

At no time was Ms. [redacted] led to believe that her tickets were being sold to her for any price other than what she was quoted which was the same price she willingly agreed to pay when she gave the customer service representative permission to place the order.

We regret that Ms. [redacted] remains dissatisfied with her purchase after the fact; however there has been no error or wrongdoing on our part which would require a refund. Therefore no refund will be provided.

Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2013/04/08) */

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT ACCEPT the response from the business.)

The response is absolutely incorrect. The agent DID NOT provide the breakdown of the charges other than to say that the cost would be for the tickets which he did not have an exact cost for, nor exact seating but did include the service charge which was to include the shipping. He did say that the services were from a secondary ticket market at which and this is why the exact pricing was unavailable. Because I did question this, I asked if it would be correct to assume the pricing of the ticket would be similar to the face value. The agent agreed though saying that they cold intact even be lower! He could not provide me the "face value" of the ticket as he did not have them in hand. The service charge of $39.11 should have included the shipping. The breakdown of charges was only provided once a phone call to the company was made and a complaint launched.

This company's agents are obviously well trained to mislead the public as is the case for the reply (above) to my complaint.

The public should be made aware of these type of scams; this is what they truly are!

Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2013/04/17) */

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing Ms. [redacted]'s continued concerns to our attention.

All customer service representatives provide the total price for the order, along with the price per ticket, the service fee per ticket and the one-time delivery fee, to the customer before placing any order. The representative would not have been able to inform Ms. [redacted] on what the face value of the ticket was since the customer service representative would not have that information available. Since the representative would not have that information they would not have informed Ms. [redacted] that the price she paid would be similar to the ticket's face value, however the representative would have informed her that the price she paid may be below face value; as this is the case with approximately 40% of tickets that are sold on the secondary market.

Ms. [redacted] was informed that her total purchase would be $434.22 which included the cost of the tickets, the service fees and the delivery fee. We regret that she remains dissatisfied with her purchase, however all of this information was provided to her before she willingly completed her purchase. There is still no refund due.

Review: I was charged for tickets on my credit card that I did not authorize. I gave them my credit card number but did not authorize the transaction.

I told them I was going to check out other venues, but they charged my card anyways.Desired Settlement: $874.20 Canadian Funds

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond to Mr. [redacted]'s concerns.

According to our records, Mr. [redacted] did not place his order over the phone with a customer service representative. The IP address used to make the purchase is recorded in our records, and the IP address that was used to place Mr. [redacted]'s order is located in British Columbia, rather than in Connecticut where our offices are located.

Therefore, Mr. [redacted] was well aware of the order he was placing and that all sales are final via the website's policies. These policies state:

General. DirectSeats.com acts as an intermediary between buyers and ticket sellers ("TICKET SELLERS") to facilitate the purchase and sale of event tickets, and as such is not directly involved in the actual ticket sale transaction between the buyers and TICKET SELLERS. All sales are final. As tickets sold through SITE are often obtained through the secondary market and prices are determined by the individual TICKET SELLER, the prices for tickets may be above or below face value.

For these reasons we are unable to provide Mr. [redacted] with a refund of his purchase.
