This is to update my previous review. MES contacted us to help make things right. They finally sent someone out and worked with us until our problem was resolved. At this time, our system seems to working good. I hate that it took so long and had to go through so many people to get the problem resolved. But, they did get it resolved so at this time we are satisfied with MES.

Sucks!!! on a new system they tell my wife the system needs freon and say the valve leaked it out and charge her $589 and two days later the system isn't working again and then tell me it is the coil and they up the scam anti to $1500 for labor on installing the coil a different company told I got scammed Metro Express Service is a BIG TIME CROOK!!!!

Mr. H,
We understand your frustration, however we did not install your new system. We had not been to your residence since 2016 and we only performed a maintenance on your Kenmore system. Our technician found your system was extremely low on freon. He performed a leak search and found it leaking on the outside unit and recharged the system. Unfortunately, after two days the system was out of freon again. When inspecting the indoor coil he found another leak in the indoor coil. It was at that time, he informed you the coil will need to be replaced. Our technician called to speak with you regarding the coil replacement, however he was unable to reach you and never received a return call from you. But, had you spoken to our technician he would have informed you the $589.00 would have been deducted from the coil price at the time of replacement. We apologize for the negative experience you have had with our company. We do not want any of our customers displeased with our services because we value all our customers. I have refunded your $589.00 for the freon today 10/2/2020 for the inconvenience. Our technician had given you a free Planned Service Agreement ($125 Value) that expires 9/21/2021, we will be happy to perform your spring and fall maintenances for free that comes with this contract.

If there was a zero that is what I would give them. My 78 year old mother had a unit installed by TRANE UNIT installed by MES a couple of months ago. They have been out 6 times had to put Freon in it 3 times so far. Stat set on 72, temp is house best case 77 with outside temps at 86 and cloudy. Talked to Norm manger of Mansfield? Said they would be out to fix it, several calls and no call back. Mom has health issues. No help from these crooks. Next step legal. Help.

I got my unit installed in 2018 I have gone through three evaporator coils and MES has worked with me through every problem in every situation to give the best customer satisfaction I would recommend these people to anyone and James one of their texts is awesome among others. Even though the unit was warranted MES did not charge me

Service Tech (David) was not knowledgeable regarding finding a moisture leak in our evaporation system and did not observe company advertised hygiene standards in my home during the COVID virus pandemic. The company offered to have another Tech come and recheck our system at no cost the following day. I declined.

I have had my unit since 2/11/2020 and have been very happy with the service. Great people

MES is the best. Fast, efficient and courteous. I've always gotten great service!

MES was able to come out same day and diagnose the problem. This was following another company in that did uneducated work and left the installation incomplete.

How terrific was that! Came home to our condo from work and the air condoning was not running, YIKES! Made a call to Metro Express Service at 5 pm, they came out the same day to provide an estimate. Work was completed on time and within budget by a very professional crew. Will definitely call MES again for annual check-ups. Very satisfied customers with two happy cats!!! (Downtown Dallas)

I have a newly remodeled, Texas Flip and Move home, which Metro Express is an installer of AC units for. I have a brand new 2018 Trane Air Conditioner- and it is flooding the water pan upstairs in the attic, it’s freezing up there, there’s loose things that are vents, and the water that drops outside is flowing like a river. I called Meteo to come look because I was concerned about the water. I told them I had a warranty( new home has home warranty, ).... they charged me $305 for the call, but claimed it would be refunded since the house was “one of their jobs”. Then the next day, ***, the service technician, said the money would NOT be refunded because he thought it was the plumbers fault my air conditioner is backing up. The unit was serviced by him 9/3/18 and today 9/11/18 it is still doing the same thing it was before.

On Monday 9/3/18, which was Labor Day Holiday, at approximately 6:04pm, Ms. called in to our office (all lines into this office are recorded for purposes such as this) requesting service on her system. She explained that she had moved into her home 2-3 months prior, and that we had installed the system. She advised her service issue was her drain pan was full of water. She was informed that the holiday emergency service fee would run $129.95 and would not apply towards any repairs made. At 6:07 pm our technician was dispatched to her home. Ms. called back at 6:12pm cancelling the technician. She stated she wasn’t happy about being charged the Holiday service fee due to it being a new system, etc. Our normal operating business hours are Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. Calls after that, whether under any labor warranty or not, are responsible for emergency after hours/ holiday hour service fees. She then called back at approximately 6:38 pm requesting service technician to go ahead and come out to service her system. Upon arrival our technician discovered her full drain pan. Technician cleared customers drain line, added pans tabs, and verified that all primary and secondary drain lines were clear. The technician advised the customer that the filter was dirty, and in need of being replaced. Ms. advised the technician she would replace the filter herself. Pictures on file taken on jobsite by our technician substantiate that the filter was completely dirty. As Ms. stated in her complaint her system was freezing up. This alone can cause a system to not function properly and cause it to do just that. When it defrosts the line can become overwhelmed and fill the pan. Ms.s dirty filter was the cause of her unit freezing up. The technician circled the clause on all of our invoices that boldly states:
NO WARRANTY ON CLOGGED CONDENSATION LINES OR CONDENSATION (WATER) LEAKS OR ANY DAMAGES RESULTING THEREOF.
Ms. completed her signature on the line underneath that clause, acknowledging this information.
In regard to her warranty information her home was originally purchased by one of the Texas Flip and Move teams and then sold to an investor. That investor in turn sold the home to Ms.. Equipment warranty information would have been entered under the investor or the Texas Flip and Move team, not to Ms. as she was not the homeowner at the time of installation. She would need to request that information from the investor from whom she purchased the house.
Ms. never contacted the office or spoke to any supervisor regarding any refund.
Our goal is to have satisfied customers. We would like to extend to Ms. a 10% discount off of any service need for her next call.

I am rejecting this response because:

I notified the seller whom I purchased my home from immediately when I discovered the excessive water dripping from my AC unit into the pan in the attic and onto the back porch. It was the seller who told me I had to contact Metro to do the work on this unit because they were the installers of the ac unit and if I called anyone else it would void the warranty I had on the AC. In fact, my seller gave me their number and told me to call them ASAP because they told me the unit was still under warranty. I didn’t not hesistate because I believed in good faith they were steering me in the right direction. And when the service technician finished the job- even after he told me initially the astronomical price of $305 he assured me I would receive a full reimbursement because the house is a Flupvand Move home from the TV show and they install the units for the show. Oh and by the way ...... he didn’t even fix the problem because as of today 10/2 it is still leaking water like a son of a gun. I am in fear my ceiling will show water damage and cave in at any given moment and I don’t even know who to turn to since everyone wants to turn their back and refuse to accept responsibility for the u it which most likely is installed incorrectly

I was having issues with my airconditioner cooling and they sent out their technician James, who was very nice and professional. He was able to come out later on a Saturday and fixed my problem very fast. I will definitely use them in the future.

Great customer service.

Motor went out on our aging a/c and they had it fixed quickly . Couldn't be happier with this company since installing our a/c almost 10 years ago. Chris was a knowledgeable technician that explained exactly what the issue was and what needed fixed.
