From what I see in the system this product is in deed in transit from the North Carolina origin warehouse and should arrive in time for the next time we deliver to the *** ** areaThis area we service once a month since it is a remote market for our Seattle operationAs it appears right now we
should be arriving between 11/or 11/once the product arrivesI will have the local warehouse call this customer today once the arrive

I am rejecting this response because: their response is ridiculousThey picked up a brand new, handmade sideboard and dropped it during delivery causing it to break in numerous areas (see photos attached)They tried to glue and screw it back together and then redeliver it back to meWhen I let them know the piece is still damaged, they changed their tune and then blamed the damage on the manufacturer and offered to deliver it to them for repairMetropolitan wants to blame everyone but themselves for damage they causedThey are careful to show only select areas in their photos which purposely hide the damageTheir delivery quotes are based on the value the items are insured for but then when they break your merchandise, they refuse to pay the amount you had it insured forThis company's actions are reprehensible and frankly, disgusting.

Please see respond from company that since I now filed a complaint they may not be able to honor a refund. How is that even possible? Because I left a real complaint? I don't understand how this company has an A rating, Yelp alone...

has tons of negative reviews, along with a different yelp account that has negative reviews: I will forward the links to those I found after this headache I went through. This company is Nasty! My complaint number is: 11534743.This is by far the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with, I can forward a ton of emails that back up my complaint.

The product has been listed as "in transit" since May 15, 2015 and [redacted] has referred me to Metropolitan for further communication concerning the delivery.

Hello,We had previously affirmed that delivery was completed with all items--especially in question with no further exceptions. Here are the POD once again showing delivery was completed.

I am rejecting this response because: The carrier picked up 13 boxes and I have receipt showing 13 boxes as well as emails from the carrier's representative that describes the contents of one of the missing boxes. The carrier showed up without any labels for the 13 boxes and I had to hand write my name on the boxes. The carrier's misplacement of the 2 lost boxes is clear negligence. The carrier's representative recently sent me an email stating they have located the two missing boxes thus the carrier is now lying and denying that they picked up 13 boxes when in fact they now state they found the two missing boxes. Obviously, they have no credibility. I now await the delivery of the two missing boxes provided they are stating the truth in their emails that they found the two missing boxes.

The carrier found the two lost boxes and delivered them. Therefore, you can close the case. Please note that their statement that they had picked up 11 boxes is obviously false since they have admitted that they lost the two boxes. The only true statement by the carrier is that they delivered 11 boxes in their initial delivery.

Terry the Chicago warehouse manager has reached out to this customer and will make arrangements to accommodate this customer to complete the delivery.

I just spoke with [redacted] and apologized for our miscommunication and us not begin able to deliver this any earlier. I assured him that we will be there today between 3-6 and he had requested that we call 1/2 prior to arrival. He had asked if our drivers can deliver it to the second floor so I...

agreed after what they have gone through. Thanks

The product status currently says "in transit"as I type. The product was picked up in Atlanta and was to be delivered to the West Coast ([redacted] The vendor [redacted] is aware of the situation and will communicate with the customer going forward to come to a resolution.

This customer was called and brought up to date by [redacted] the account rep for which she purchased her order. The chairs have been transferred to the delivering warehouse in Miami and is scheduled to deliver on 3/17. The customer will be refunded her entire delivery charge of $295 for her...
