I am a year old female owner of a Subaru Outback with 120,miles on it I took it to Michael Hohl to have it serviced, as I have always taken my car there because I bought it there After leaving the car I received a phone call from the service department stating it needed 8,dollars' worth of repairs I went back to the dealership and they told me I needed a new head gasket, front axles, brakes and other things They even showed me how dirty the underneath of my car was The funny part was they gave me written quote was for 6,dollars, so I just saved 2,300? I called my son and he asked if it could be driven home, I was told yes but it will over heat My son told me to get it home, so I drove it miles and it did not over heat Through my church I was referred to a mechanic that was local to ***, he cam

This business refuses to honor my warranty
On January, my WRX ABS system light came on and stayed on, the ABS locked up on one side and caused me to bump into a curbI had the vehicle towed to this dealer where I originally purchased the vehicleThe dealer refuses to acknowledge the issue with the ABS locking up and told me that I had to pay $to have them diagnose what was wrong with the vehicleAfter they ran the diagnostic they told me they had to put it on the alignment rack to check if anything was wrong with itAt an additional cost of $After that they told me that it needed a power steering pump and a power steering rack, and that they would not cover the parts under the warranty and I had to contact my insurance company

Please do not buy from Michael Hohl SubaruThey're liarsMy son had filled out form on internet for $gift card for test driving a carHe turned in form a week before labor day Salesman name was KyleI called 9/13/to see what happen with the processThey acted like they didn't get form, Nick general manager said to email it which I always make copies of everything I turn inNick emails back saying it's expired of course it had date on it good through Sept8, Bottom line they don't want to give him the gift card mainly because he didn't purchase a vehicleNick R*** is rude telling me now look lady in a very mean wayHe doesn't scare me!!

I recently purchased a ford escape a month agoI called to ask for a test drive and the sales person said "Yes you can, the car is here and they have been getting a large amount of calls about the car"When I showed up the car wasn't thereThey told me to come back the next day it should be thereThe whole time during the sale it was mentioned that the car was a hit and will not last long in their storeI felt very pressured but liked the car enough to buy itThe car was a trade in and needed to be detailedAfter buying the car they held on to it and said it will be ready for pickup the next day at 500pmwhen I showed up the car wasn't ready or clean and promised they will need to re detail it and should be ready tomorrowFinally when I picked it up the sales person didn't have any knowledge about some features about the car offered and told me to go to a different dealershipThe ford has a my key feature that has safety features like 40% volume on the radio and a 80mh max lo

On November 17th of I purchased a new Subaru Forester from Michael Hohl Subaru, having previously negotiated a trade in price for my Mazda of $This amount was discussed in person and over the phone with *** ***, the dealership manager, and I have a copy of the fax confirming this agreed upon trade in amount from Mr***Originally Mr*** was going to have a Forester delivered from another dealership as they did not have a manual transmission in stock, but after being unable to find one, the salesman Phil I was working with said they had the car I was looking for coming in three weeks, with the same deal and pricing applied, and would I be willing to waitI agreed and went to pick up my car a few weeks later on November 17th.It was not until after I picked up the car and was working on the registration paperwork that I noticed that the final paperwork listed a trade in amount of $5000, not $I assumed this was a typo, and called ***, the finance pe

In the market for a new Subaru, went on line a couple of months ago and asked if they had a Outback that had navigation but no moon roof Was called back and said yes we have a lot to select from when will you come up I said I was still looking just asking They now have zero % fin, and sent a note again on the web asking when a certain car was going to be in their lot Got a note back stating someone will contact you shortly, still waiting so drove to said dealer, asked who this person was but no one knew him(?) They then turned me over to "Dom" the internet sales person, he was so worried to prove that someone contacted me had to ask three times to spell my last name Neither here nor there, but it's been four days and still no one got back to me on the internet He showed me a price but it could have been anyone's email this car was not going to be on their lot until January 7th 2017, which was after zero % fin offer At that time I asked about is there a car that has th

I have never in my life experienced such horrible customer serviceI have been taken in loops in regards to my purchase and contractI have been dodged, ignored, and told that I did NOT have to be informed that my car was sold to me with a salvage titleI was offered replacements that I was then told I couldn't have after a test drive, due to it being "too much of a loss to the company"This entire disaster was the company's fault and they made minimal effort to repair the situationThe sales manager, ***, is inconsiderate, has no respect for others, and lacks ANY customer service skills whatsoeverHe is extremely unprofessional in both his appearance and his demeanor, and actually had the nerve to directly request a positive reviewI have been left to wonder what is going on and have now been receiving calls from my lender that my payments are past due, even though a new contract was to be submittedThis is very close to affecting my credit score negativelyThe only person i

I purchased a 2017(used) Yukon SLTThe vehicle is saturated with cigarette smell from previous ownerMicheal Hohl Service department put “smoke” bombs into the ventilation system and interior to get rid of the smellThe smoke bomb is supposed to neutralize the smell of smoke within the interior and ventilation systemThe smoke smell has been lingering since my last visit to the dealershipI’ve called different times since my last appointment at dealership to find out about getting the carpets cleaned and headliner shampooed or steam cleanedThe management at Micheal Hohl Honda continues to ignore my calls to schedule another appointmentI do not recommend using Micheal Hohl Honda in Carson CityI would recommend visiting Bill Pearce Honda in Reno or going to Sacramento area to purchase your new or used vehicle

We purchased a vehicle and gave the salesman the price from the internet, and after we signed the contract we noticed the dealer inflated the price by $dollars on the contract the FI dept was rushing us through the paperwork and did not notice the issue until Sunday we called the sales Manager *** who said he would refund the difference and my husband drove to Carson from Incline miles and got the run around from *** the other sales manager *** emailed back several days later stating he would expedite a check and apologized and three weeks later he will not return phone calls or emails and we still haven't received the checkThe FI dept also did not put my husband on the contract he has a better credit rating, and debt to income ratio, and makes more money we refinanced the car with him as primary through our credit union but it is our belief that this was a distraction tactic to make the additional money, and sell a warranty for $extraWe have tried to resolv

On Michael Hohl Subaru website they advertise a $Visa gift card for test driving a carAugust 31, I went and test drove a car with Kyle car salesman and gave coupon for gift card to him which had expiration date of SeptKyle he say he turned in to Nick General Manager same dayAnyway today is Septstill no gift cardMy mom got into augument with Nick last Friday and he hung up on herShe told him he was fraud and if you don't purchase car basically that doesn't apply to youNick R*** had my mom to email her copy of coupon and he said oh it's expiredWhat a complete mnDummy of course it's going to be expired it was turned in on 8-31-with and expiration date of 9-8-I called Subaru Customer Relations they won't get it solvedBottom line Nick R*** is a liar and I will not do any business with Michael Hohl Subaru
My thought on this Nick R*** had threw away because I didn't purchase carKyle already said he gave it to him in a text messag

I purchased a brand new Subaru Crosstrek LimitedI had the dealer install the roof racks on top of the carI applied my kayaks onto the roof racks because they said that is what the racks doWell, the roof rack broke while I was on the freeway all while doing damage to the top of the roofForget about the kayaks, I could have killed someone on the roadAs I make an emergency stop, I noticed the damage on my roof from the roof rack that Subaru installed on the top of the carSubaru is refusing to pay for it because they say it was the kayak racks that I installed on top of their racksWell, it wasn't the kayak racks that brokeit was their faulty racks that a dealer installed on my carI didn't think it could get worse until I went back to the dealership to complain and ask for the repairs to be doneThe dealership said they will not fix it and to change my deductible on my insurance so that I could file a comp claimThat is absolute insurance fraud and not acceptable at

On October 30, I dropped off my car to get repainted which had a recall in the paint and was going to be repaired free of charge by HondaI was told that it would be ready in 3-daysI called them on the 5th day which was a Friday and was told they would check up on the car and call me backThey eventually called back and left a message stating that my car was not finishedI called again yesterday, November 7th, and they told me that my car was still not readyI tried calling again and was directed to an answering machine where I once again left a message asking if my car was readyI work and go to school and don't have tons of money to be paying for a rentalHad I known this would be so inconvenient I would have tried to schedule this at a later time

I purchased an extended service contract for $2,497.00 on 2/12/2010, through [redacted]'s finance department for 72 months, with a full refund at the end of that time, if the contract through Signet was not used. Since that time Signet has gone out of business and [redacted] is not giving refunds, even though it was sold by their representative, who received a commission, and basically used scare (stranded older woman broken down in the desert) tactics to sell the product. [redacted] has offered to apply this cost to a used vehicle. I do not want another Subaru or any other vehicle from this dealership.Product_Or_Service: SubaruOrder_Number: [redacted]Account_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementA full refund, standing behind Hohl's reputation (my second vehicle) and their employees lack of discretion.Business Response In Response to Case # [redacted]Although Michael Hohl Automotive is not contractually obligated to refund this customer, we have offered him/her a discount for any new or used vehicle in the amount of our original charge for his/her extended service contract. We have also offered this customer service for her existing vehicle free of charge. This customer has declined all of our offers. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Yes I was offered a discount on a new car and a "good deal" on a used car when I told them I did not want another Subaru. As for service on my existing vehicle I cannot see investing $2500 in a seven year old car I do not intend to keep. Not only did the dealership benefit from the sale of this contract but also their agent/finance manager. It is not my fault they made a contract with a dishonest company for financial gain. I purchased a contract with what I thought a honest, reputable dealership that I had dealt with previously. Michael Holh should take this up with Gregg Lehman who sold them these contracts. The state of Oregon is in the process of recouping their losses. As a large, growing business, Michael Holh should protect their clients and stand behind the product they sell. I now fear taking my vehicle in for oil changes due to retelaliation. I am 64.5 years old. This "refundable" contract represents 25% of what I owe on my mortgage. I do not think refunding this small amount (for them) would bankrupt the company but it would be good for customer service.Final Business Response Thank you again for your time on the phone today. Please see attached document showing that Michael Hohl Automotive has no contractual obligation to provide any refund to any Signet customer. It is our standard policy to offer vehicle discounts equal to the amount of Signet backed policies, or vehicle service or repairs as a gesture of good faith concerning customer relations.Thank you for closing this matter. On Monday, June 27th '16,I went to Carson city Michael Hohl Honda Subaru because I was interested in a 2010 Subaru wrx and they had a used one with over 81,000 miles on it they had just gotten it.[redacted] and the general manager said they would give me a great price for it. When I looked over the car it had the driver side visor missing, a big scratch on the bottom of the driver side door and a crack on the hood and the one doors wouldn't open. Also it had scratches on the outside door handel.[redacted] had said they were going to fix everything and make it look brand new. They told me they would let the car go for 18,770, turns out they weren't being completely honest about the price they actually let the car go for 32,000 puls a 2,000 down payment they over charged me and took advantage of me because I am a first time buyer. They told me to go back in 2 days at the most to pick it up so they can clean it out. They took a week with the car and they didn't even give me a call to see what was going on and the day when I went to pick it up the car, looked exactly the same and I was just not happy and they still hadn't put a new visor or fixed any of the problems.[redacted] then started to argue with my uncle and Being really rude when my uncle he was just asking him question about the car and homie said to both of us we had 30 days to return the car. After 3 times Ive gone to get the car fixed they wouldn't do anything and were more concerned about getting more money out of me. I had asked them I wanted to repurchase the car and homie and the general manager were acting very rude to my family and I, calling us liers, walking away when we were all still talking and being prejudice to us Latinos they were VERY disrespectful to us and didn't wanna listen to anything we had to say. They obligated me to keep the car and told me to put 3,000 more down to repurchase it and didn't give me a reason why I had to put more down. We were the second family in that week that had been treated in such a HORRIBLE manner.Product_Or_Service: Used Subaru wrx 2010Account_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementI would like to repurchase this car and get the down payment I had put for this car because they charged me double for what it was worth and it wasn't fair. If it's not possible to get the money back I just want to repurchase the car I'm not happy with this car.Business Response In response to [redacted] complaint;Per her contract, we did in fact sell her the vehicle for $18,700 plus applicable fees and taxes. Also [redacted] selected a vehicle before it was completely through our safety and inspection process. Upon completion of her contracts, we did retain her new vehicle to perform our complete recondition process and safety inspection. Because [redacted] was unable to take the vehicle when she signed we allowed her to defer her down payment. The only monies we have asked for is the balance of her contractual obligation of a $2,000 dwon payment. In addition to our complete safety and reconditioning process we disclosed and obtained [redacted] signature on a 75,000 mile inspection sheet disclosing work performed and satisfactory condition of all applicable systems and components as required. We have all applicable documentation that directly contradict [redacted] statements. These documents are all signed and acknowledged by [redacted] has changed her banking information in order to keep us from being able to collect the remaining contractually obligated down payment for her vehicle.

I SOLD MY PILOT TO THE DEALERSHIP AT THE BEGINNING OF DECEMBER. I NEGOTIATED A PRICE FOR THE VEHICLE BEFORE GOING INTO THE DEALERSHIP. I DELIVERED MY VEHICLE AND RECEIVED A BILL OF SALE STATING WHAT THEY WERE GOING TO PAY FOR THE VEHICLE. IT WAS MORE THAN WHAT THE LOAN WAS WORTH SO I HAD SOME MONEY COMING BACK. THEY WERE TO PAY OFF THE VEHICLE AND GIVE WHAT EVER WAS LEFT FROM PAYING OFF THE VEHICLE. ABOUT MID DECEMBER I RECEIVED NUMEROUS CALLS AND A LETTER FOR THE LOAN SAYING THAT IT HAD NOT BEEN COMPLETELY PAID OFF. IT WAS HARRASSING. SO I CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP TO INFORM THEM OF THE SITUATION. I LEFT A MESSAGE WITH INTERNET SALESPERSON ([redacted])TO PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR THIS. I NEVER GOT A CALL. SO I CONTACTED THEM AGAIN AND WAS TOLD THAT THE FINANCE MANAGER NIKKI WOULD CALL ME BACK AND I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK. SO I CALLED AGAIN AND EXPLAINED MY SITUATION TO THE RECEPTIONIST. SHE THEN FORWARED ME TO "[redacted]" THE MAN. THAT IS HOW HE DESCRIBED HIMSELF, AS THE MAN. I EXPLAINED AGAIN MY SITUATION AND HE PERSUEDED ME TO PAY OFF THE LOAN. SO I DID. HE WAS SUPPOSED TO CALL AND GET THE TITLE EXPEDITED SINCE IT HAD BEEN SO LONG. NEEDLESS TO SAY IT IS 1/19/16 AND I HAVE STILL NOT BEEN PAID.MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE PLACED NUMEROUS PHONE CALLS TO FIND OUT THE SITUATION AND STILL DO NOT RECEIVE CALLS BACK FROM THE DEALERSHIP. THEY HAVE HAD OWENERSHIP OF MY VEHICLE SINCE 12/7/15 AND HAVE NOT PAID ME FOR IT.Desired SettlementI WANT THE BUSINESS TO GIVE US THE MONEY THEY OWE US IN ADDITION TO THE EXTRA MONEY I HAD TO PAY TO GET THE LOAN PAID OFF. I ALSO WOULD LIKE IT TO BE NOTED THAT THE BUSINESS DOES NOT FOLLOW UP OR RETURN CALLS. THIS IS BAD BUSINESS AND I WOULD LIKE TO SEE SOME PROFESSIONALISM, NOT HEAR SOMEONE WHO CLAIMS THEY ARE THE MAN NOT FOLLOW THRU WITH WHAT THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO DO.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted] GMContact Phone: 775-336-7352Contact Email: [redacted]We recieved title from the bank and called [redacted] as we said we would. He has since picked up his check and the addiotnal check for the high payoff. Again, we did what we said we would do- issue checks upon receiving the title. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)The dealership did not follow through with getting the whole payoff amount when they originally paid off the vehicle leaving a 30 day gap from the time I HAD TO PAY OFF THE BALANCE. The dealership did not follow through by contacting us with the up to date information. Instead we had to continually call for status. We never received any calls from the dealership stating that they are still waiting for title The fact that the dealership did not do the basics of calling for the final payoff quote before sending the payoff caused significant delay. To add insult to the situation the "sales manager" Danny assured me that this situation was to be taken care of immediately. Instead we had to wait an additional 25 days to get the money we were owed. Sorry but I do not accept excuses from the dealership. They deal with this type of situation everyday and the nonchalant attitude of "oh well" is not acceptable to me. Yes we did receive our checks nearly 2 months after the sale of the vehicle. THE BOTTOM LINE IS THE DEALERSHIP SHOULD TAKE RESPONSIBLITY FOR MAKING SURE THE TRANSACTION IS COMPLETE INSTEAD OF HAVING THE CUSTOMER DEAL WITH IT. As of now I will NEVER buy from this dealership. I will most certainly express to anyone who wants to do business with Michael Holh Honda/Suburu my experience. Final Business Response I handed the checks to [redacted] myself and asked him to sit down and he said that he had to go. I would like to have had the time to discuss it with him. He said he had to go and got up and left. I am usure of what to say from this point forward. I took over the issue when I was sent over here to be the Manager. I did what I said I would do. Obviuosly we would have liked to resolve this issue sooner, but we neeed the title first. A correct payoff amount to begin with would have made this easier. Either way I apologize that it took so long. But we did complete the transaction and all money was given to [redacted] as promised.
