Michael Nash Custom Kitchens, Inc Reviews (40)

Michel Nash has remodeled my entire four-story townhouse. Beginning with my kitchen, I have entered successive contracts to remodel three bathrooms, a powder room, install two new HVAC systems, refinish the wood floors on the first floor, install a new living room bay window, replace carpeting on the bedroom levels, install over 60 recessed lights, as well as numerous smaller projects. They have just completed the remodeling of my laundry room.
The reasons I kept coming back to Michael Nash are numerous. Having heard horror stories of cost over-runs that exceeded initial estimates from friends working with other contractors, the Michael Nash fixed-price contracting approach provided me with financial peace of mind. The design phase is frequently handled by Sonny, the firm’s president, and ensures that the blueprints will benefit from his long professional experience in the field. The crews are professional with great attention to detail, unfailingly polite and flexible in accommodating the inevitable last-minute customer requests as the renovation takes shape. The crews always took steps to protect the areas of the house surrounding the work site, and something that I especially appreciated, they thoroughly cleaned the work site every day before they left. Finally, the quality of the workmanship is superb and their attention to detail shows through in every project. While everyone I know who has undertaken a remodeling project, regardless of the contractor they have selected, has experienced delays, the advantages of working with Michael Nash clearly outweigh any delays that may result from their popularity.

Several friends had recommended Michael Nash and their kitchens were beautiful. The planning/choices could have been overwhelming, but I was walked through the entire process professionally. Some suggestions were made that I hadn't thought about and I love the outcome. Michael Nash is committed to a set price...not extras added on later. Any time I had questions I was able to have an answer right away...always someone available to help. Nothing was missed, every detail addressed. The work that was done was wonderful. Every person entering the house was on time, polite, and worked hard. My new kitchen is so nice and I know that if I would ever have a problem, I still can call them to fix it, as they stand by their work.

Revdex.com:
Yes we are down to a very short punch list of items now and we believe job completion by Michael Nash could be as soon as July 15, 2016. We appreciate everyone's cooperation to resolve these issues. We have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to us.

We had been planning a whole house renovation on our 55-year old home since the day we purchased it in 2010. We did a lot of research into which company we would eventually use and when we were finally ready in 2015, we decided on Michael Nash. Our decision was based on a few things: 1. We needed a designer to help us with some decisions 2. They had to offer competitive pricing and 3. They needed to have good ratings everywhere we looked. Michael Nash had all of the above plus they offered us a no-contingency deal that we couldn’t refuse. This renovation consisted of knocking down walls, reconfiguring plumbing, a complete ceiling to floor renovation. We spent many hours with Oliver, our designer, who guided us through the process, selecting every item from cabinetry and knobs to flooring and lighting – every detail was covered.
The job was scheduled to begin in August 2015. We got off to a very slow start and in hindsight, Sonny, the CEO, admitted he underestimated the amount of work our house would need. Being an older home, there were a lot of unforeseen challenges, like having to basically redo all the electrical in the house. Sonny took over managing our project and Mr. Him, our foreman, kept the crew on task. The crew was great, anything we questioned or asked to be done differently, they agreed and did it, no problem. They were all very nice and professional.
What was scheduled to be a 2-month project, ultimately took 5 months, but the results were well worth the wait. With every delay, Sonny tried to make it right. He paid for the additional time we had to spend in a hotel, agreed to give us our built-ins at no additional cost, as well as hardwood flooring throughout. I imagine Michael Nash didn’t make much on this job in the end, but that didn’t mean we were treated as any less important. What they may lack in setting realistic expectations, as far as the time it takes to get the job done, is made up for with the integrity to do it right.
We have no doubt we’ll enjoy our “new” house for many years to come and will happily recommend Michael Nash to our friends!

I hope by now your project is complete, but unless you hire an attorney, Nash company, Sonny, (and his Board), will not be refunding your dollars. They are barely financially viable, which is why they push so hard to get dollars up front!

Review: The debacle that is our Michael Nash experience began in April of We were very excited to begin the renovations on our homeWe selected Michael Nash based on a review we read on [redacted]We initially met with [redacted], and after telling him what our plans were, and that we wanted the project to begin during the Summer of 2011, [redacted] said if we would hurry and make a decision, he would try to get us the March pricing, and that if we didn't decide very soon, the prices would go up significantlyAt the time, I thought he was trying to be niceNow I realize that it was just a high pressure sales technique that I was too naive and trusting to be able to identify at the time[redacted] said "Yes" to all of our questions during the initial meeting, which seems to be his standard answer
We asked if it could be done during the summer of "Yes"
We asked if they could do our deck with Sloped Benches for sitting"Yes."
The expected duration of our project was quoted as to months
Once we went to the Michael Nash facility on [redacted], we met with someone else who encouraged us to pre-pay for the entire project, and that they would give us a discountI have since been told by other contractors that this practice is illegalI'm not sure if that's the case, but that is what I've been toldAnyway, we agreed to pre-pay, and paid most of the money by July of
We still owed a small amount, but it seemed that we were no longer a priorityA "Beginning of July" start became "week of July 25th", which slipped to late August, late September, and then they finally started on October 31st, At this time, we were told that they may be done by ChristmasWe were very excited at the prospect of being in our newly renovated home for ChristmasCiting various personal reasons, our Michael Nash slipped further and further behind[redacted]'s Uncle passed away, an Electrician had a heart attack, yet my wife and showed patience and understanding throughout the processHowever, we grew tired of excuses and it seemed we were being taken advantage of[redacted] changed the size of rooms we had already signed off on without consulting usWhen I called him on it, he said that he would add more space to the deck to make up for it

I spoke with another contractor in [redacted], and after he heard just a portion of my story, he asked me "Why have you been so patient?"The only answer I could come up with was "Because I'm stupid, that's why." In December of 2011, I wrote an email to [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted] (No longer with Michael Nash)In that email I threatened to go to the Revdex.com and [redacted] County Consumer Complaint divisionTHAT was when they started actually doing some workThat has been the story the whole timeI have to threaten to call Revdex.com, or just complain, then they show up for a few days, and then stop comingI should have lodged a Revdex.com complaint over a year ago
The work ethic at Michael Nash was unbelievableIt is hard to complete a project when you only work 3-hours a day, and will go weeks at a time without showing up at all
It is now March 21st, 2013, and our project is still not finishedWe are waiting on a cabinet to be installed, and some other loose endsThe cabinet was allegedly delivered to their warehouse in August Supposedly, it was damaged, and they didn't want to deliver a damaged oneA second one was delivered in December of months laterIt was not the right kind of cabinet, and I was told the replacement would be there in weeksI didn't believe that at all, but said OKIt's not been another months, and still no cabinetI'm tired of this entire process
I approached [redacted] in August or September of 2012, and told him I'd like them to do my bathroom to make up for the time that this has takenHe told me that it would be a $17,job to do my bathroomMy bathroom is about 6x4, and it's only a 1/bathroomThere is a toilet, a sink, and a showerI have friends who have had similar sized rooms done for $[redacted] told me that he would talk to the board about it, and see what he could doI told him that I had seen online that they had done it in the past when they were delayedHe came back and told me that the board wanted me to pay the remaining money that I owe, and then they would consider itI told him that I wasn't paying anything else until the project was finishedI think that once I pay the final amount, I'll never hear from them again
I recently dug up a portion of my yard to install a drainage pipe to allow the gutter to drain out into the yardI was only digging with a shovel, and only dug about 8-inches in the yardI found several chunks of broken asbestos tiles that Michael Nash had removed from my house and put in a big pile in the yardEvidently, they moved most of them, and then covered up the rest with dirtThere were also broken pieces of 2x4's, nails, etcI would think that just covering up the Asbestos tiles in someone's yard would be illegalWe had them put Vinyl siding on the house, and they removed the Asbestos tiles beforehandI called and complained about the fact that the workers were just pulling them off the house, and weren't wearing any respiratorsThey were also just throwing them in the yard, which I mentioned earlier
Additionally, rocks were dumped in my yard, and now grass won't growInstead of putting a tarp down and then dumping the rocks on it, or putting the rocks on top of the driveway, they just dumped them all in my yard
The deck was not built to my satisfactionAfter taking my money, and agreeing to build slanted benches like you would see at a beach cottage, I was told that it was impossible with Trex decking to do thatOk, that may be true, but that would have been nice to know before they took my money
Another thing with the deck, they used the wrong color deckingThat's fineWe didn't complain about that because as my wife put it "Let's show them some grace." They had made changes to some of the initial diagrams at our request, and we were appreciative of that
Here is an example of the types of letters I had to write to get anything done
Here is an email from 10/31/regarding the fact that we still didn’t have a doorknob months after the screened in porch was “completed.”
"Hey [redacted],
Today marks the one year anniversary of when Michael Nash actually broke ground on our projectPlease let me know when you think you will finish itWe still don't have a door [redacted] and quite frankly, it's embarrassingI have had numerous house guests and family members lock themselves out because there is no doorknob to the screened in porchAs the holidays approach, this will become even more of an embarrassmentI had a coworker come over for lunch today, and he just started laughing when he saw it, and couldn't believe that it still wasn't doneThere also is the issue of the cabinet that is supposed to be built in the Mud Room
I shouldn't have to call and complain or write emails to get this finishedEach time I do that, I get someone's attention for a day or so, but then we seem to fall off of the radar again
Thanks for your prompt attention to this matter."
There have been several other issues that I'm not happy with, and can send pictures.Desired Settlement: I have expressed to Michael Nash that I would like them to renovate my bedroom bathroom to compensate for their poor execution of this contractAdditionally, I would like them to fix the poor paint jobs, drywall issues, and various other problemsThis all needs to be completed before the end of April As an alternative, I would accept a refund of $20,000, and I will take of the issues myself

My husband and I had our master bathroom, hallway bathroom, the powder room and the kitchen completely remodeled and new hardwood floor installed on the main level of our home. However, we still have our family room, dining room and staircase to be remodeled. Our contractor is Michael Nash who arranged the electrical, plumbing, painting and carpentry work. The work involved about several months of almost constant attention with at least two workers in the house most of those days.
We appreciate Sonny and Shaun for taking the time to answer our questions and responding to our concerns. They are always very pleasant and patient; they took the time to really listen to our needs and made sure we were completely happy. We feel that the two of them complement each other and make a great team!! Their excellent talented designers (Oliver, Toni, Jeff and Sepi) offered us lots of choices/suggestions that were appropriate for our style and needs whilst achieving the most attractive and custom-designed appearance. Sonny is someone you can trust to make things right. He also responds quickly to fix the problems after the jobs were completed. We would like to commend Sonny and Shaun for their diligence and follow-through. He and his team took a personal approach to their work and made our house as if it were their own, his value added approach has only enhanced the look and feel of our home. His crew, who has worked with him for many years, is very talented, professional, dedicated and friendly.
Thanks to you, your company and your associates, we are delighted with the results. Thank you so much for all the outstanding work you've done on our house. The results are fantastic and you are an absolute pleasure to work with. Our granite kitchen and bathroom counter tops look amazing. The quality of the work performed along with the building materials used gave us a new master bath, new hallway bath, new kitchen and powder room that we will both be proud of for years to come. It seems that Sonny hire the best people for each craft needed for our remodel. We would like to recognize him and all his team for their exceptional service. Any homeowner who is considering remodeling their existing kitchen, bathroom or whatever it maybe, and desiring high standards, outstanding quality product and beautiful workmanship could not do any better than to have the work performed by Michael Nash. Michael Nash is the best in the business!!

Your assessment of the Nash team is mind blowing! I am currently trying to get a six figure advance back from this corrupt company after Sonny "offered " to cancel our contract. After 10mths of excuses, lies and delays, we still haven't broken ground on what should have been a 4mth project! We have since discovered fm their atty, that it is common practice for them to take client deposits and float those dollars to other projects, when we had specifically been told our dollars would be set aside and used ONLY for our home project! I am writing this to strongly suggest any new renovation hopefuls stay clear from Michael Nash Design/Build in Fairfax, Virginia!

Miraculous Kitchen Renovation!
Michael Nash and Company created a miracle with our kitchen! Our
kitchen was very small and had a peninsula which cut it off from the
eat in dining area, mirror backsplash and horrendous cabinets. We
received numerous quotes from big box home improvement stores and
other area contractors, but we were very unsatisfied with their
suggestions to simply replace the existing cabinets and countertop and
keep the basic configuration of the kitchen. While our expectations
were modest, we still wanted to achieve a more livable kitchen our
entire family could enjoy. Then we met with Sonny N[redacted] of Michael
Nash. He produced amazing blueprints which depicted a kitchen
straight from HGTV, complete with an island that would fit 6 people.
My wife and I were both skeptical at first since we did not think our
kitchen had sufficient space to accommodate such a beautiful island.
However, Sonny assured us that our dream kitchen was possible.
We had three meetings in the showroom with Oliver, who helped us make
cabinet style and color selections, choose granite countertops and tile
backsplash, all the way down to [redacted] and handle hardware. It was obvious
we were dealing with a team of professionals who wanted our kitchen to be perfect!
The job involved pushing a wall back in the kitchen which meant moving
the laundry room to the upstairs. A wall upstairs also had to be
pushed back. It was quite a transformation, but the work brought the
house to a new level. The craftsmen who worked on our home were top
notch. There was a lot of rerouting of wiring and plumbing, but they
did an expert job and we know there will be no issues later on down
the line. We got a call every night from the job supervisor, M[redacted], to
let us know the status of the work and what would be happening the
next day. Whenever we had a concern, we were able to get a quick
answer from Sonny, who would often come to the house to meet us and
discuss the job.
Now that the job is completed, we couldn't be happier
with the performance of the Michael Nash team! We look forward to
using Michael Nash to perform a bathroom renovation in the coming
months.
We never would have believed that our small, confined kitchen space
could have been transformed into such a large, open area with a huge
island in the middle of it! We highly recommend Michael Nash for
anyone considering a home renovation!

Don't do it! Sonny and this Nash Co is corrupt, and should be stopped! These people won't hesitate taking your money and delaying your project at any expense to you!

Review: I contracted with Michael nash to re-do a bedroom (combine two rooms) and expand and modernize our master bathroom. The total cost was $37,300, less a $1,000 coupon, so $36,000. We paid $18,150 down, as required, and have now paid all but approximately $3,700. We contracted for this work on 12/31/11. The work was to take 6 weeks.

Initiation of the work was delayed several times by Michael Nash, once the start date was set. Generally, the work was to start in Jun 12. It is now Dec 13, and the work is yet to be completed. This has disruppted our home, living arrangements and life for over 18 months. For a company with such a professional reputation, this is unacceptable, as is the level and degree of my and my wife's personal involvement in getting things done properly. This included, but is not limited to reworking the electric in the bathroom; reworking the flooring in the bathroom that was improperly started; reworking the installation of bathroom lighting, mirrors and cabinets, which were not centered. Some of this was after being told the work was finished. Right now the primary remaining issue is rewiring the bedroom lights and installing spark resistant breaker that is required by permit; realighning the glass shower door; and possibly regrouting the entire bathroom for the basically the third time. The last inspection failed over three months ago. Although Michael Nash advise the work would be completed two week ago, the people that came could not do the electric, nor align the shower door. They did regrout the tile, but with the wrong color (dark, not light gray). My wife wants amichael Nash out of our house, so she may elect to live with the grouting. Separate, not addressed is that the installed wood flooring is not even. I have not asked whether the subfloor should have been leveled after removal of carpets and prior to installation of the flooring - its possible it could not have been done; however, the contract calls for unknown issues to be fixed at no cost.

I have not heard from Michael Nash for over a week and have no schedule for completion of the work.

I believe based on the outcome, but have no proof, that some of the work that requires licensed persons was done by non-licensed persons without oversight, Michael Nash's people were generally professional and friendly. This applies to electric and possibly plumbing, altough we have not been able yet to test all the plumbing.Desired Settlement: Finish the work completely and refund a minimum of 33 percent of the total cost of the work effort.

Review: We signed a contract with Michael Nash Custom Kitchens in July 2012. At the time we paid a significant down payment. The original start date of the project was supposed to be October 2012. Michael Nash pushed the start date back to November, then to January, and did not actually start work until the week of February 18, 2013. Since starting work they have made very little progress (only have completed part of the demo and electrical) and have repeatedly lied to us about the project schedule. Last week for example, they called us three times and told us their workers would be at our house the next day and nobody showed up on any of those days (Monday – Wednesday). On Thursday somebody finally showed up around noon and did very little work. When we ask our various points of contact what is going on none of them can tell us anything – they always say that somebody else needs to make the decision. Then last Friday, their project manager told my wife that it was her responsibility to tell the workers what to do (the whole reason we hired somebody is we are not contractors ourselves). They have constantly harassed us about getting more money even though they have made very little progress on the job. Most upsetting, is they are now telling us our house flue cannot be moved (this was the key element of the design that persuaded us to choose them). This is despite the fact that before starting the project, they repeatedly told us this could be done and that the project was quoted with no unforeseen contingencies.Desired Settlement: We would either like an immediate full refund of all money we have give them in the form of a cashier check or for them to dedicate their full resources to quickly complete the project to our full satisfaction.

Michael Nash Design Build & Homes built my wife and I a beautifully designed contemporary kitchen with all the bells and whistles. My wife and I came across different publications of kitchen photos that perk our interest. Coincidentally, we were both looking at photographs from Michael Nash Design. Within a week of our inquiry, Sonny, came to our house for the initial consultation. Rapport, respect and knowledge are three words I would describe our encounter. He did not want to talk about the budget. He solicited information about our interest, ideas, and our needs. He pointed out areas where design modifications would help improve efficiency. Like others, he took photos and measurements. He asked us to go to the showroom where he could provide us a rough design and floor samples of what we could expect.
The second meeting with Sonny was just as impressive as the first. He explained the process from his first meeting to the conclusion of the project. There would a quite a few meeting in the showroom plus additional visits to the house to confirm measurements and utility planning. He showed us a rough blue print of the proposed kitchen but that was subject to change to suit our taste. Although there weren’t many details, we liked the design. Price discussion was simple. He promised that there would be no hidden prices. If there were any unforeseen adjustments necessary, there would be no added charges. The price of the project is based on type of materiel and the size of the kitchen. He physically showed us the difference in grade and quality of the material.
The next few meetings were a blur. We wanted a white kitchen with 48-inch range oven. We added a bay window, reduce the size of a two-door patio door to a single door, eliminated the pantry, and transformed a closet to a cabinet. We knew what we like but without any real concept of style or design. Oliver, the designer, worked closely with us every step of the way. He helped narrow down our choices. He doesn’t have a poker face and we could easily tell his preference when hard choices were to be made. He took time to explain the intricacies of patterns, design, fashion, color schemes, and dimensions. I didn’t know that there are so many different shades of white. Over the course of a few meetings, the design finally took shape. We have display cabinets, island counter for astatic, a room dividing showcase, and much more. Ultimately, we have a kitchen design that we love.
The renovation phase took a bit of time but well worth the wait. Almost everything had to be gutted replacing water, gas, and electrical lines. There were minor setbacks like the air vent was in the wrong place or a cabinet was not shipped by the factory. In due time, it all worked out. What I was most impressed with was the flexibility. We changed the back splash design the day of the installation, we added additional trimming after the cabinets was installed, added electrical outlets the last minute, upgrade the bay window days before installation, changed the glass display shelves’ height the last minute, changed the location of the supporting leg to out island counter. We took both Oliver and Sonny’s recommendation on a beautiful focal point mosaic piece behind the stove. The list goes on and on.
During the whole process, aside from the field supervisor, both Sonny and Oliver came to the house to ensure we were satisfied with the outcome. Needless to say, we are ecstatic. We now have a kitchen we hope to have.

I hired Michael Nash to build a Sunroom addition, make a trex deck, a balcony on top of the Sunroom, remodel the kitchen, replace the hardwood floor and carpet in the house. The job is almost complete. Michael Nash has done an excellent job. Michael Nash’s staff is polite and trust-worthy. I was most impressed with the CEO, Mr. Sonny N[redacted] and General Manager, Shawn.
This was a fixed price contract. When the contract was signed we were told that they use quality expensive material/appliances, but the actual material/appliances were not chosen at the time of signing the contract. So we were concerned if we will be allowed to choose the materials and appliances of our choice. But all those fears were put to rest later on when Michael Nash allowed us to choose materials and appliances from a large range of quality above-average / superior options. Among all things we are happy about, Michael Nash was extremely flexible to accommodate specific request, never bringing up any additional or hidden cost. This was a difficult project as the slope of the Sunroom was to be almost flat so that we can have a balcony on top of it, but Michael Nash did it.
There were a few management issues which resulted in ordering of wrong material and delaying the project. Michael Nash’s General Manager, Shawn worked hard to correct those issues. Anyway, those issues were nothing compared to the final product we are getting now. Michael Nash has made a beautiful Sunroom, Deck and Balcony which I think is an award-winning work. The granite in the kitchen looks great too! The workmanship is much above-average. I recommend Michael Nash for remodeling and additions work.

11/10/2015
Dear Friends,
We love the look of our remodeled kitchen and have been enjoying cooking to a much greater extent than ever before. We have the extensive crews at Michael Nash Co. to thank for all of their expert, quality workmanship. From the cabinets to the bay window we are so pleased.
Consulting with Sonny N[redacted] about the plans of the remodeling was our first step. The plans incorporated all our ideas and Sonny’s recommendations for our dream kitchen. With their guidance, we agreed upon a new kitchen that is first class without giving up functionality and cost consciousness.
The goal of the staff from start to finish was to follow our wishes in design. A good example was in the cutting and placement of the granite countertop detail. After exposure to dozens and dozens of granite samples, I found a slab with an aerial illusion of a coastline town overlooking the ocean. This specific piece of granite became the focal point of our kitchen island. Michael Nash’s employees made it happen!
After having lived in our home for over 30 years, we were making a long overdue change to the room most central to our lives. It was imperative to us that the kitchen design features allowed me to cook comfortably in light of my medical issues with mobility and weakness. We consulted with staff for ideas to improve my accessibility to storage in a number of ways. Now, a year later, I appreciate these thoughtful features every day.
Recently, as part of the loyalty program, our microwave oven stopped working after the warranty period had expired. Michael Nash’s employee, Shahin, ordered and had a new microwave installed in a few days. Anytime we have had to call for assistance, the Michael Nash Co. has provided us with outstanding service to resolve any issue immediately.
Warm regards,
Mr. & Mrs. J[redacted] C[redacted]

We have had two projects designed and built with Michael Nash in the past 9 years. A complete kitchen make-over extending thru breakfast room and family room, all work done beautifully. Called on them again and they provided a beautiful sunroom
addition with 15 ft ceiling and huge windows all around. Overall, they did a great job, kept us informed when unexpected delays occured and fulfilled our contract, completing everything until we were satisfied. Thank You, Michael Nash.

Scope of Work: New Master Bedroom, Bath, and Walk-n Closet Addition over existing garage, as well as converting existing Master Bedroom into new Upstairs Den, and existing Master Bedroom Walk-in Closet into new Bedroom.
Michael Nash has done a superb job on our new master bedroom, bath, and walk-in closet addition above our existing garage. When my wife and I were first investigating potential contractors for the job, we were intrigued by Michael Nash’s unique fixed price contract approach. This, in addition to their friendly sales team and competitive pricing, ultimately resulted in our moving forward with Michael Nash.
Michael Nash then worked with us to design both the interior and exterior of the addition, with an emphasis on the details of the master bath. Michael Nash also has an extensive showroom to select fixtures and other materials to select from, and the best part is that due to the fixed price contract, there is no difference in price from one style to another as long as you make a selection from your designated pricing category (we went with the “Custom” package).
Throughout construction, we were impressed by Michael Nash’s commitment to satisfaction. Whenever an issue arose (which was to be expected during a project of our scope), we always felt confident that we would be able to reach a fair and agreeable resolution. Our advice is to take any matter that requires escalation to Sonny, as he always delivered results. The best part of working with Michael Nash during construction was that they don’t “nickel and dime” you. Just as one example, after our closet door framing and associated light switch electrical wiring had already been installed, my wife and I realized that their placement would have actually worked better about 18 inches to the right. Our foreman Mr. Him had his crew immediately redo the work without any extra charge (which I honestly would have expected with any other builder).
The addition did take longer than expected to complete, but again, Michael Nash’s management team worked with us to make sure that we were satisfied with the final product. And satisfied we are! As the project nears completion, our friends, family, and neighbors alike have all been in awe of our new dramatically-sloped high vaulted bedroom ceiling, and striking bathroom and closet designs. In fact, we have been so pleased with the results of our addition to date that we are now also working with Michael Nash on another project to install a new flagstone patio with a gas fire pit, as well!

Review: I hired them to do a remodeling job in June 2012, with a promise that it would be done by September 2012. This is March 2013 and they are still not finished. They keep promising that they will be done, but it is not happening. I was promised a small refund for inconvenience in December 2012, and have not received it as of yet. They made me pay 100% up front, so there is no recourse. The owner gave me his cell phone in case there were issues....most of the time his voice mail is full. The company lies about start and completion dates, they are not honest about anything they say. They simply tell youo what you want to hear in order to grab business and money. They are short staffed with crews to work, causing delays. There should be accountability for dishonesty in doing business and a business licence should not be issued to companies that take advantage of people. Being a single person, female, I feel very much deceived and taken.Desired Settlement: I want the job finished, and a refund for inconvenience (staying in a hotel because the condo was not livable) as promised. Over the past 9 months, I have sent 87 emails to [redacted] and staff, and obviously has not done any good. I need help getting this done, and my refund as promised. I am glad to forward all emails if necessary.
