[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: We saw the toilet was broken, we understandAnd I agree with Mr***, the toilet was broken AFTER we checked outThey claimed the floor was soiled all the way into the sleeping area which is not trueI would not keep quiet of toilet water was overflowingThe base of the toilet was broken which we've consulted with a plumber that claims the toilet was either installed too loose, too tight, or was a factory defectThe only way we could have broken that toilet was to take a large object and bit it, which seems a little ridiculous to think we wouldWe also found after our original claim that the debit card was charged an hour before the toilet was reported broken [redacted] at the front desk said the rooms were not even cleaned until and the toilet was reported broken around 11:Our debit card was charged at 10:this same morningIt is also suspect that the toilet replaced was more expensive because the toilet that was previously in the room would not fit anymoreFunny how the room must have shifted in the hours to suddenly not be able to house the same size toilet that was previously in the roomAlso, the room number changed from which we were previously toldOriginally we were told the toilet was replaced in one room but later were told anotherThere are several fishy circumstances regarding this incidenceWe told Mr [redacted] we would seek legal cousel if he would not speak to usI find that if someone hangs up multiple times and will not speak to you, there is usually something suspect occurringWe WILL receive a refund for the toilet charge and the trip to and from Brunswick to speak with someone since no one would speak to us over the phoneIf this issue cannot be resolved in a professional manner, we are fully prepared to seek retribution in small claims courtI'm not sure what Mr [redacted] is referring to regarding taking things said out of context or using statements made against the hotel but comments made by staff members were providing us answers as to how this all occurred since when we left the room, there were no visible damagesIn that sense, we have used statements against the hotel so that we can receive the refund we rightfully deserveI also do not see how loss of one nights stay would be applicable in the charge unless the hotel was maxed out at capacityWhich I don't foresee being the case since it was a Sunday night and it wasn't even maxed out to capacity over our weekend stay Regards, [redacted]

In response to the 2nd letterNo we will not make an exception for this lady who mistakenly booked a reservation through a 3rd party at the rate code and stipulations she chooseIt is not our fault she booked the wrong hotel and further more this happens allotIf booked with a 3rd party we always send the guest on to the motel reservation is atThe real Manager at the south Microtel dose the same for usIf she called here to cancel we would have told her to call Expedia we can cancel but she would be chargedAfter sitting on a room for her all night and her going to the other hotel and calling, we still would have told her call Expedia and my staff would have knew to follow policy and no matter what at that point lady was getting chargedShe made the mistake and it happens but she really should have read the reservation confirmation from Expedia that explains the policy behind what she choose and the hotel where she bookedwhy should we not get paid because of her mistakesI also think she disputed with the bank and there was enough proof that she was rejectedI understand she just wants her money back because she don't want to pay for her mistakeI am sticking to our policy and Expedia on reservation code for this.(no refund) Kristi [redacted] AGM

Dear [redacted] ***,I am sending you this letter to respond to complaintil [redacted] The Microtel Inn and Suites is very sorry that the guest encountered bite marks during their stay with us on 6/17/It is unfortunate that bed bug bites have become an epidemic in the hospitality industryMany hotels including [redacted] in New York City have seen cases of bed bugs in the last decade.We take any occurrence that is mentioned by our guests very seriouslyThe room that was occupied by [redacted] (the registered guest) was checked thoroughly and immediately put out of order andtreated.I offered my sincere apologizes upon learning of the situation at checkout and gave the guest a complete refuad for their stay with usAgain we are very sorry that the guest received bites during their stay with usIf you have any questionsor concerns please feel free to contact me.Sincerely, Wayne S4?General Manager

Mrs [redacted] stayed with us for four nights and bookedthrough [redacted] , she registered two adults and actually had four adults and onechild in the room, the guest then re-booked for sweetest day weekend on Fridayand Saturday night for one adult while still having four adults and one childin the room, when we made the guest aware of the discrepancy she said it was [redacted] issue and not hers, when [redacted] contacted the property they informed me Mrs[redacted] booked her room for one adult only, she was unwilling to correct thereservation or pay the difference, so she decided to leave the hotel without arefund for the last night since it was booked through [redacted] and wasnonrefundable

Ms [redacted] and her guests had to be removed from the building by the police after she threatened to hurt desk clerk, and ran up and down the hall pounding on the other guest room doors, we have attempted to resolve the matter with the guest, and Ms [redacted] said she will deal with our corporate office and not us.Ms [redacted] also contacted the building department of [redacted] , and the building inspector came to the property and determined we had taken all the appropriate actions in this matter.Our pest control company found no evidence of bed bugs in her room, therefore we will be unable to offer Ms [redacted] a refund for her stay

We are writing in regards to your complaint you filed with the Revdex.comYou stayed in room [redacted] on November 26, You filed a complaint regarding cockroach in your roomKeep in mind we have a regular pest control treatment by a licensed professional company of our building on top of the internal treatment our staff already performsUnfortunately, pest control doesn't remove or prevent all insects as some insects can travel into the building because doors are opened and closes by customers entering or exiting building, or by windows being left opened by customers, or insects travelling in customers belongings, or many other waysAlthough you felt the hotel was not sanitary, keep in mind we take great pride in our cleaning procedures and our cleaning staff works hard to make sure the rooms are as clean as possible for all guestsWe invite you to return to our hotel again and give this property another chance for a complimentary one night stay for your next visit to ArlingtonPlease keep this email on file and use it to reply back when you are ready to book again for your future visitThank you for the opportunity to serve you and we can't wait to see you soon.Management,

Ms [redacted] - Thank you for taking the time to write to the Revdex.com regarding your stay at our motelThe design of the rooms and the amenities that we offer is integral in providing budget rates that are the best possible value to our guestsThis was clear in the fact that you chose and completed a 2-day stay at our locationWe would have gladly addressed your concerns at the property level if brought to our attention and would have switched you over to a room of your likingHowever, Firstly I would like to for the inconveniences you experienced as a guest of our motel and Secondly, I would like to address the concerns that you expressedThe hallways and the public areas on both the floors are vacuumed and sanitized each and everydayOnce at the start of every quarter, we call professional cleaners to have our carpets steamed cleaned as wellWhile some high traffic areas do show signs of wear and tear - we do have renovations planned in the near future that does include replacing the hallway carpetingOur bed linen is also supplied by a third party cleaning agency ( [redacted] ***)Your concerns about the cleanliness of the room have been communicated to the maintenance and housekeeping staff and we will definitely do a better job in identifying and correcting any defectsI apologize for any deficiencies and would be implementing a renewed emphasis on training to prevent any such re-occurrencesWe do have one functional ice machine which services the entire buildingWe realize the importance of its usage in the summer and make sure that it is serviced and maintained on a regular basisThe safety and security of our guests is our utmost concern and we would not be compromising on any aspect with regards to thatOur desk is staffed hours to address any and every concern arising with regards to any questions about the safety of our customers as wellThe area in which our motel is located is an extremely safe location as well which is also clear from the fact that we have close to about other franchise motels in close proximityWe realize that friendliness, courtesy and willingness to help are essential qualities which should be displayed by all employees at all timesWe appreciate you taking the time to point out where improvements are needed and your comments are shared with the staff to ensure corrective action is takenOur goal is to provide a level of service that requires diligent attention to detail and is a matter of constant reinforcement of our motelAs I mentioned before, we do have a lot of improvements and renovations that we are working on and we would love for you to feel welcome at our hotel in your future travelsRegards, Rahul S

The Guest wasn't happy with the first room, he was moved to another that he was in for two hours and contacted the desk unhappy with the bed, the support was shifted which made the bed rock, so the desk staff upgraded him to a suite that he stayed in for the rest of the night until he checked out in
the morning and asked the clerk to call our manager because he wanted a refund, we do feel we accommodated the guest by giving him a significant upgrade for his troublese

I find the response from America's Best Value Inn ludicrousAt no time was there any damage done to any part of their facility...nor was there any mention at checkout or any subsequent check inTo further illustrate me experience with the facility, I encourage you to visit *** I've written about my two previous stays at America's Best Value InnIt is unfortunate that the motel manager would stoop to lying about the condition of the room in an effort to shift professional accountability
