Our records indicate that one of our neighborhood marketing team members made contact with someone at your home who represented themselves as as either your or your wife, gave us your contact informations and scheduled an appointment. We have not purchased any contact information, a representative...

of our company made direct contact with someone at your home. We will gladly remove you from our database and will not be contacting you any farther.

The damage to the fence was due to a third party using a lawn mower. We have fixed the fence for free twice. We have not charged anything more. We have used the best of our abilities to fix the fence as best as we can.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 12, 2016/01/26) */
Mr. [redacted] attempted to negotiate a solution to Ms. [redacted] complaint directly with Ms. [redacted] long before she filed a Revdex.com complaint. Unfortunately, Ms. [redacted] chose to breach her contract instead of accepting the accommodating terms...

presented to her by Mr. [redacted]. Midtown purchased all material to complete Ms. [redacted] job before she chose to cancel her project. Midtown will not reimburse her for her deposit or pay any damages she seeks. This matter is being addressed with our legal counsel and will proceed as they see fit.

Ms. [redacted] called in on Tuesday, January 16, 2017 and I personally spoke to her. Ms. [redacted] claimed that we never issued her refund but we did in fact issue mail her refund December 15, 2016. When I informed Ms. [redacted] this she said she never received it. I then confirmed her address and again...

stated that we did indeed mail it out in December. Upon hearing this she asked to speak to our owner. On January 18, 2017 Ms. [redacted] was told by our owner that we were in the process of having a stop payment issued on the check mailed to her home in December and another would be issued as soon as possible. That check was written on January 18, 2017 and is due to be sent out January 19, 2017.

We have addressed several complaints from Mr [redacted] over the course of several different visits. Mr [redacted] continuously finds new things that he wants us to address and we do so as soon as we possibly can. We were in contact with Mr. [redacted] to address his newest list of complaints when he filed this complaint. We have been and are continuing to work with Mr [redacted] to remedy his ever growing list of complaints.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/02/19) */
Our fence and deck manager made the appropriate repairs to the deck on February 16, 2016.

Our representatives have been in contact with Mr [redacted] and have made arrangements to deliver the plant rails the beginning of March. We are also processing Mr [redacted]'s refund for the deleted fan and he should receive it shortly....

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2016/02/23) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
This is what we agreed too.

I am rejecting this response because:
I don't have employee names, nor should I have to keep record of the rude employees.  The marketing team has not honored my request (in person or on the phone). Last night the marketing team knocked on my dor at 8pm.  I simply want my address removed from the marketing team list.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

We have been in contact with Mr. [redacted] to remedy this situation. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a product will come undamaged from the manufacturer, which is what happened in the case of Mr. [redacted]'s replacement parts. For his inconvenience, and in lieu of a hefty discount, we offered Mr. [redacted] a...

$200 gift card to an establishment of his choosing which he accepted on 10/20/2016. We will not be offering any farther discounts or reimbursements to Mr [redacted] because he told us that the gift card was sufficient for his inconvenience.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/11/03) */
Midtown Home Improvements has repaired the screens that came out of Ms. [redacted]'s Anderson windows and we have contacted her to schedule reinstalling them in her windows. This was not in her contract. She had asked for compensation from our...

company due to the fact that our patio door vendor had some manufacturing delays causing the door to take some 12 weeks to complete. Her concern was our not keeping her up to date with our progress. When I offered to have our service department perform the screen repairs I was not aware the screens would require more time and some items that we did not have available on our service truck. The screens were returned here and we failed to communicate the information as quickly as we needed. We have hired additional staff members and have revised our procedures for customer contact. We spoke with Ms. [redacted] this afternoon and are returning the screens repaired this afternoon.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2015/11/08) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

Our marketing department honors every request to be removed from a call list. Have you requested to speak to a supervisor or do you have the name of the employee that has hung up on you? Each employee is required to identify themself by name when speaking to anyone on the phone.

The owner from the granite company was on vacation and upon his return has agreed to service the granite free of charge. It took a while for us to get a response and we apologize for that.

Happy to say the business sent a rep out today, & the repairs were made.  Thank you for any and all assistance. [redacted]

Revdex.com  The problem has not been resolved at this time, but they have contacted me and replacing the door but nothing is scheduled at this time.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Yes they have told me time...

and time again that they would fix the problems, however the problems are still there! This deck was built late last year. they send the guy's out, they work at something for a while and leave. But they don't fix the problem's the guy's they send out have no clue how to or just don't care about fixing the problem's this was a very big mistake on my part to have them build this deck! I should have known better, when they tried to hide the rotten band board on the house.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Mr. [redacted] told us he was going to withdraw the complaint. This wait was beyond our control. We had to wait until Mr. [redacted] got a waiver from the utility company in order to do the scope of the work as he requested. We could have done it without the waiver if he chose to downsize the scope of the...

work,  but he did not want to do that.  Once we got the waiver, we could begin work. Again, this is nothing we did wrong, we could not legally do it without the waiver and Mr. [redacted] was the one who had to get it from his utility company.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/10/29) */
Midtown Home Improvements will take care of removing and replacing concrete pad. We will contact Mr [redacted] about it today.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2015/10/29) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the...

business.)
they contacted me today and will be taking care of it next Thursday!!!

Our phone system was hacked yesterday, and we are investigating the matter.  We had to temporarily shut down our main number, we hope to have it back up in a few days.  In the meantime we can be reached at [redacted].  We apologize for any inconvenience.

We  were notified by the manufacturer company and they have serviced the door. They said that the consumers were happy with the outcome and the issue has been fixed.
