Cole's offered me a bribe of $2,500 if I signed a contract stating I would change all my reviews, that contract states that they are not responsible for any damage to my home.  That in turn has changed everything with my insurance company, because this was never going to be an insurance issue, until they offered that deal.  Now, they claim they can't deal with me except through their insurance company and mine.  They are still claiming that the ruined floors are not their fault, lying on the circumstances and saying the leak was our fault.  We have gotten absolutely no where since November 2014.  And as a consumer I have every right to warn other residents of this kind of service.   In no way has this been taken care of, handled correctly.  The are simply hoping we will go away.  This is our home and where we will retire and live.  It is absolutely unacceptable that we can pay over $10,000 for an air conditioning unit, have proof it was installed incorrectly causing the flooding, have them on their own dime fix the installation, with brand new installation and not then take responsibility for the damage the improper installation caused to our floors.

IMPORTANT INFORAMTION

We haven’t heard back from the customer letting us know that there is something wrong with the unit or that we have to go out to fix something. Our Salesman was being targeted by [redacted] because she kept calling and calling to insult and let our salesman know that what we did was wrong. Our Salesman contacted the customer per Dr. [redacted] he is satisfied with the install that Cole Services has performed. He told our salesman to ignore the daughter because she was mad that she wasn’t part of this purchase. I have left [redacted] many voice mail messages at this number [redacted] and haven’t heard back from him. please let me know if there’s anything I can do thank you!

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
It s unfortunate to have business run on lies and manupilation to customers.
1- I received a call from [redacted] at the call center back in June when I was calling to get estimates, the reason for his call was as he stated" felt like questions were not properly answered reguarding need for duct works" and wanted me to give the company a chance to evaluate and give me a quote which I agreed to
2- I never discussed with [redacted] on 6/21/16 when he gave me the quote that I need a cheap work, he found out later that I ll be renting it when my agent showed up when he was there signing the contract and later on made up this story about " wanted a cheap work"
3- I have the hand writtne paper by [redacted] in his hand writing where he stated duct sealing will be done as part of the new system installation. This was all what [redacted] recommended, he never said that the duct are 29 years old and need replacement, I clearly told him " I do not want any surprises after the AC new system is installed" and he assured me that no additional work will be needed he even said " the good thing your house is in good shape well maintained, just need the new system, no worries will take care if you"
4-I was fouled by the fake nice introduction of the company and the promises. The statement made in the company response regarding me saying want cheap work that would last for a year is a complete lie and made up by [redacted], I actually told him that I will eventually be moving to the house in the future and want the jib done right from the begining, he found iut about the lease after we had agreed on the price and the work
5- [redacted] , the manger at the company never called me back as he promised 2 weeks ago
6- Again , I was told that the warranty on the original work won t be valid if I do not proceed with the duct work with Cole services, this is again is not the way you earn business

*Additional Comments from Consumer:
I just would like to add more information to the Revdex.com in regards to my complaints ID # [redacted].I was reding the business response again and feel sad and disappointed and would like to provide the Revdex.com with the following to help assist in this unfortunate situation.1- I never negotiated the price given to me by [redacted], I have his hand written paper with the quote stating $ 7923.00 , he just made it $7900 even when he came back to sign the contract2- Again , [redacted] never recommended duct work when he came on 6/21/16 that I declined, I was the one who asked and was told that all is needed was sealing the existing ducts which was never done by Cole services as promised.  I do have the pictures provided by  [redacted] himself when he went after the tenant had moved in on 8/18/16 and said the duct need to be replaced. These pictures confirm that no sealing work was done3- As a matter of fact I took [redacted] recommendation and paid extra $850 for a whole new system cooling and heating when other companies had suggested that I do not have to do that and use the old existing system, I wanted to have a well functioning new system and did not want to take any chances .4- [redacted] is stating that the air was cool when he went on 8/18/16 , so why did he then recommend a duct work if it was not needed?5-  It s surprising to me to learn reading [redacted] response , that the other company representative who came after him to give me a quote is a friend of his. It confirms that I was simply set up by the two of them,It sounds like [redacted] had made a deal with the other company representative ??I ll be happy to provide the Revdex.com with the hand written quote given to me by [redacted] before signing the contract and the Pictures taken by [redacted] as well. Please add this additional information to my prior response to the company. Thanks again for your helpRegards[redacted]

We have made several attempts to get in contact with Ms. [redacted] to resolve this complaint. We are unable to reach her and have not received any returned calls.

In order to resolve this issue we will need to get into contact with Ms. [redacted]. Codes have...

changed since the time of the install and we will pull a new permit and take whatever steps necessary to provide all documentation and permits needed. We are waiting to coordinate with Ms.[redacted].

I am on process filing small court claims and also ask State contractor to suspend Cole Service pluming service. I was mis-lead by the repair technicans and spend $550 for insulted unfinished work.
I have drainage problem and contacted Cole Service, I have some other small service in the pass with Cole Service and they were reasonable but this time really upset me.The technican recommended Hyprojet cleaning. He explain to me the process is observe with the camera where the roof penerated into the drainage pipe, he than clean with high pressure water, hyperjet, afterward, show me the improvement with another camera shot. It seems the approach was reasonable.
Once the invoice signed, they turn into money hunry animal and demands more money. He claim the pipe was broken and no sense to do hyperjet and if I do not agrees, Cole-service does not want to do business with me anymore. The money paid for the hyperjet service will retained. They did hyperjet but no afterward camera. They told me from this point on go somewhere lese because I refuse to listen to them.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Obviously, Cole Services doesn’t comprehend what this complaint is regarding.  It is not about whether my father received an air conditioning system that is working properly.  It is about overcharging my 88 year old father more than twice what he should have been charged.  A system like the one he received should not have cost more than $8,000-9,000.  However, he was charged apx. $20,000.  Other contractors wondered if they used gold fittings!  The paperwork is very ambiguous and they couldn’t even add up the figures correctly on the invoice.   On May 16 I spoke with Mr. [redacted] from the State Contractor’s Licensing Board and he indicated that it is an extreme case of elderly abuse (he has all of my documentation – Revdex.com hasn’t requested any documents) and that they are in violation of not having another person there with my father since he is over 65 years old.  In their preliminary investigation (it has now gone to the investigator), Cole Services indicated that my father kept calling them and wanting more service, which is a total lie (I spoke with my father and he has never spoken with them).  Why would he want more air conditioners?  Makes no sense!!  On June 18 at 9:10 a.m. [redacted] called me on my cell phone wanting my dad’s address (you would think that they would have it) which I gave him and I also indicated to him that I am pursuing action with the State Licensure Board.  There were never any harsh words spoken or foul language as he indicates (check his recordings on that date and time).  They keep continually lying.  I have not kept calling and calling as they are indicating.  My father did not indicate to them to ignore me which is ridiculous.  My father very much is supporting me in pursuing this injustice and will be with me in court should we get to that final step.  He is embarrassed that he did not get any other estimates from other contractors and was sold this system for which he was extremely overcharged.  Again, this is not a case of not installing a working system.  It is about the extreme overcharging and abuse towards the elderly.  I have an affidavit on file with the State Licensure Board in which my father has given me authority to represent him due to his age and mental capacity.
You will notice in Mr. [redacted]’s response that he indicates that he hasn’t heard back from my father after many messages.  Then a few sentences later he indicates that their salesman did contact my father and that my father indicated there was nothing wrong with the system.  In the last sentence he indicates that he has left numerous messages with my father and hasn’t heard from him.  They obviously don’t know what they are doing.
I have all of the documentation regarding this issue should you want a copy for further investigation.  I hope that the Revdex.com does not recommend this company in any way as they are so crooked.  All of my fellow employees are hoping that justice will be done to stop this company from doing this to others and that Cole Services will do the right thing which is to compensate my father for the extreme charges.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Mrs.  [redacted], daughter of [redacted] E. [redacted]

Statement from salesman [redacted]: Back on June 21st 2016 I personally met with [redacted] at [redacted]. She had just purchased the home and was wanting to install a new heating and air conditioning system. She had gotten 3 bids for this job. She was using each of us as...

leverage to get the price cheaper. All she wanted was cheap. Little did she know, that one of the other competitors that gave her a bid, is one of my personal friends. She used my bid to get him cheaper and vice versa. I explained the duct issue to her, but she wanted to spend the least amount of money as possible. She was not willing to spend any additional money besides the $7,900 for the HVAC equipment. I told her that I would do a complimentary duct seal for her just because she did not want to spend any additional money at this time. I said to her," try it out for a year and then we can re-visit the ductwork issue whenever you're ready." She agreed to my statement and even said that she thought that was a good idea. The house sat empty until she rented the home out to a family. On August 18th 2016, I received a call from [redacted]'s property management staff. The tenant was complaining about little airflow to the master bedroom, so I personally went out to the property [free of charge] to see what was going on. Upon arrival, I found that the entire house was cool and the equipment was running to spec. When I did another inspection on the ductwork, I tried to see where the problem was. the ductwork was original to the build of the home (1987). As I had mentioned to her back in June when [redacted] purchased the equipment from us, her ductwork was 29 years old and it was very fragile. [redacted] even stated that she remembered the conversation but she didn't want to spend the money to have the ductwork changed. Her property management staff told me that she was extremely hard to work with through any type of projects similar to this one. The price to replace the ductwork is $4,995.00, but we tried to help her out because she was frustrated, and we only charged her $2,419.00. Cole Services even gave her a lifetime warranty on the ductwork at no additional charge. The installers did a beautiful job on installing all of the equipment as well as the ductwork. It is very unfortunate that there are people out there trying to take advantage of companies like ours, just to,get something for free. Please call or email me with any other questions. Thank you   As stated, we did the work that our customer requested and signed contracts for. [redacted] was fully aware of the old duct work at the time of the original sale and decided not to change it out at this time. [redacted] did a full inspection of the home and recommended replacing the duct work that [redacted] declined.

Cole Services did not offer a “Bribe” or anything of that nature to the client. Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] believe that Cole Services is responsible to the damage caused in their home. It is to our knowledge and understanding that Cole Services is not responsible for any of the damages claimed by  Mr. and Mrs. [redacted]. The drain line in question was not touched by our company. Despite that fact that Cole Services did not cause any damage to the clients home, we did offer to cover the clients deductible with their insurance company to resolve the issue despite the fact that we did not cause this damage.   Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] have every right to post reviews about Cole Services and any experiences that they have had with us but the direct threats to our employees, fake [redacted] accounts and things of that nature are no longer being responded to. Cole Services has attempted to resolve this issue directly with the client to no avail.   Thank you [redacted]¦Marketing Manager

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This company is full of liars, disrespectful people, crooks and does horrible work! I have been dealing with this company for 4 months and they have been giving us the run around since day one! They incorrectly installed our HVAC, had 2 of their "managers" come out and say "no everything is fine." Had the city come out for inspection and said YES it was installed incorrectly and was given a list of corrections to be made in order to pass inspection. Cole Services set us up with a 9-11 am appointment to fix the problems as we are a "top priority," and guess what, they were a no show/no call. We are done with this company and will do anything and everything in our will power to shut this company down.

We had an appointment with [redacted] on August 8th to fix the problem with her air conditioner under warranty. We successfully fixed the problem and her unit is now properly working. We followed up with [redacted] and she confirmed the unit is working, her home is cool and this complaint has been settled.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
I received a phone call and the check was sent to me soon after. Regards,
[redacted]

Please see attachments including signed contract and pictures. When we arrived to the job the coil was already iced over due to another company filling the unit with R22 two week prior to our arrival. When we arrived the coil was leaking water into the furnace and floor but customer did not want to...

replace the iced coil (as stated in his complaint). There was also a waiver of responsibility form that was completed and signed by customer as well.

We have been in constant contact with Mr. [redacted] including two in-person meetings to resolve this complaint. We have made an agreement with Mr. [redacted] to properly reinstall the HVAC system that we originally installed incorrectly. We will also repair the damage to his floor with a company of Mr....

[redacted]'s choosing.
