We are responding to the complaint we received regarding the following sale We are very dismayed and shocked by the purchaser’s filing of this complaint and feel that we have gone above and beyond in this situation to try to resolve this situation and attempt to bring the purchaser some
satisfaction As soon at the purchaser contacted us we went into action trying to work with the purchaser on this issue We sent very detailed images of the unit and exact diagrams so the purchaser knew exactly what the unit looked like prior to purchaseOne of their main complaints was that “the belt did not fit” and we immediately explained to them in detail how to adjust the the tension of the belt in order to achieve the result they required In addition we even sent the purchaser a video showing the unit in full operation at our facility before shipment and how it functioned in complete orderWe of course represented the unit as “Used” and in ‘as-is’ condition We in no way represented the unit as a ‘POPE’ model unit In the written advertisement we stated that it was sold as: “ Used - Inch Wiped Film Evaporator”. We always communicated timely with the purchaser on every issue that they brought up to us, however we rarely received a response from them once we responded back We even offered to have the purchaser ship the Mixer and Head back and we would adjust it at no charge to the purchaser with a fast turnaround timeHowever, we received no response from the purchaser on this offer All parts were matched perfectly and we assembled the unit in our facility, tested the unit for hour and videoed the test run and sent the video to the purchaser before shipment of the unitThough the unit was advertised as ‘used’, we believe the condition was Used - New, and we did outfit the unit with many new parts We are dismayed that the purchaser filed a complaint about this transaction as we represented everything about the unit upfront even assembling and videoing the unit before shipping and always communicated with the purchaser on any issues related to the unit Lastly, we even offered (at no charge) to make any adjustments needed to the unit if the purchaser send us the unit We feel we have gone above and beyond in this situation to attempt to rectify the situation to the purchaser’s satisfactionThank you

I am rejecting this response because:we were only contacted once!! All the receipts are different!! The deal offered today was for dollar credit exchange for rings for my wife! I had agreed to satisfy my wife and give up my ringI left the store and she came out later saying *** ( manager) showed her smaller rings but supposedly better and from to before trade inWe are not satisfied and since trade in was given, why not just take the rings and give us 900???? Well my wife said *** said no refunds because he can't resale the rings??? Why give us the trade in ?????? We will take or even for the rings!!! If not there is no other resolve even if we get stuck with these rings!!!!!!! This is actually one of the biggest regrets with a business in my life!!! The dishonesty, the lying on the receipts and the slick talking sales person was like none other!!! And it's by design from the top to the bottom as I learned today !!!!!

No stars! This place lies they make you think they are selling you real solid gold when it's silver with cloudy diamonds CZ is better then there diamond.. You guys can buy costume jewlery way cheaper if your looking for it I bought ear rings, bracelet and necklace I was told this jewelry was solid gold but not found out the same day I bought it that its yellow gold looking but it was silver I'm not spending over a rack for fake costume jewlery this is no place to build your credit it's a RIP off I went in the store left my bag with there jewelry in it and walked out...Don't go there everyone says good customer service yeah if u dont mind lies! Service is not worth more then quality run from this or you'll be sorry

I wouldn't even give them a one but had to I bought jewelry at florin rd store brain assured me the bracelet and ear rings and necklace with pendant was real gold I would of never bought fake silver jewlery im allergic to silver anyways this jewlery is not real brain moore that worked with me lied! I told him I wanted real yellow gold to match my 2,000 buck 18kt gold necklace with 20kt mexican pesto in the middle with diamonds around the coin...Fake yellow gold that's silver they sold me I was also sick and sweating so bad I had to rush threw the paperwork bottom line is this place sells cloudy fake diamonds fake white and yellow gold that's silver I could buy costume jewelry anywhere that I would spend over a grand for..

With that being said, we have made numerous attempted to establish arrangements with Mr. [redacted]. We have over 21 individual dates that we have attempted to contact Mr [redacted] to make arrangements. The majority of the times we called, we were able to leave a voice mail message due to the voicemail box not set up. Often the phone would just ring or hang up after a few rings. When we were able to make contact with My [redacted], it resulted in him setting up a multiple promise to pay and they never were seen through.  By the end of March 2016, Milestonz made the decision to return the item purchased and close out the account. This decision was made because Mr [redacted] failed to make payments as agreed and broke multiple promises to pay on the account. The decision did not result in negative credit reporting such as repossession. It has been reported as closed status. On 4/4/16 I reached out to Mr [redacted] and informed him of the end result. I offered My [redacted] the opportunity to reopen the account since in the conversation he conveyed to me that he wanted to establish credit. She had seen those before from the 1st visit in which she said the rings were smaller than the ones she had! I have cleared up the main concern Mr. [redacted] had on all three items he purchased for a total of $900 before taxes and warranty. Mr. [redacted] acknowledged that his items purchased are in fact a combination of 1 item being Gold and the remaining 2 items are in Silver. This information was exact to what Mr. [redacted] purchased. The comment made to the merchandise not being as what was listed on the contract was found to be incorrect on his part. There was no foul play on Milestonz part. I have offered to even exchange Mr. [redacted]’s 3 items for 1 item priced at $1400. Milestonz’s will pay for the alteration charges as well. Mr. [redacted] acknowledges that Milestonz Jewelers does not offer a refund policy. Review: I originally set up service with Milestonz to purchase a wedding band set. I fell into a period of financial hardship and made payment arrangements. One month I was delayed with a payment and at first thought I wasn't going to be able to make the payment at all so while making arrangements they put my account in delinquent status and I was not informed either over the phone or through email. One ring that was still yet to be picked up was repossessed and I was not informed of the repossession. When I finally paid the account in full that's when I was made aware of the delinquency and and was then told that the remaining wedding band was no longer available. I had requested that a manager called me in regards to this matter and I never received a call.Desired Settlement: Since I was not properly informed of either the repossession or the delinquent status of my account I am requesting that I receive the wedding band that I originally signed up to get under my account.

Review: I opened a line of credit with Milestonz Jewelers. I purchased a wedding band on credit.

1 week after I received the wedding band it fell apart. I returned the wedding band and was advised of a No refund policy. I was forced to order a new band that I did not like due to there lack of products and being cornered into a contract over a inferior ring quality. They reported my account 30 days late 25 days before it was 30 days late. I contacted them and they said they would resolve the issue. They never resolved the issue. I now have a letter from them stating Notice of Legal action. I haven't opened the envelope. I can see the big bold print clearly through the back of the envelope which is a violation of the [redacted]. They did not perform due diligence in protecting my privacy. Two of these letter were sent (one to my sister in law?)

I do not have an item from them and now they are threatening voluntary repossession.

I am being abused and strong armed by this company.

My bracelet fell apart after 6 hours it wouldnt stay latched..cheap fake stuff

Review: My husband went to Milestonz in [redacted] to purchase my engagement ring. Since he had already opened an account and they were offering a 2 night stay at the [redacted] we decided to go back there to purchase our wedding rings. We also liked some diamond earrings, but we were worried about getting into too large of a Jewlry account especially since I had a bankruptcy less than a year ago. I explained that to The sales lady so she discounted the earrings and assured me that if I pay $250 a month my account would be paid off within two years. I was comfortable with the payment amount and the length of time and that is the only reason we purchased the earrings. I called them today to update my address and to confirm when my last payment would be. I have already been making payments for over a year and she said she estimates my last payment will be in 18 months. That is six months of payments and an additional $1500 that I was not expecting to pay. When I explained to the lady on the phone what had happened she did nothing. Milestones jewelry in [redacted] Purposely lied to me so they can make a sale. I should be able to TRUST any sales person selling me Jewlry. She said it would be paid off within 2 years and unfortunately I believed her. To make matters worse is the person on the phone did nothing to rectify the situation. She said there's nothing she can do, but there is. Another thing is When I was ready to go to Vegas I found out the hotel isn't even open and they closed 2 months after I was given the offer so they were offering people a hotel that was closing down.Desired Settlement: I would like to return the diamond earrings for a full refund since they were sold to me on false pretense. If I had known my account was going to take 2 1/2 years to pay off I would not have purchased those earrings. Also since the [redacted] hotel is closed I would prefer an account credit like my husband received when he purchased my engagement ring since I was unable to use the hotel.

Review: After a dispute with the company's quality of merchandise, a settlement was reached and not honored.

[redacted]. Account number XXXXXXXX. Have been doing business with Milestonz Jewelers since April 2011. I have been making payments on time monthly until my last payment due on 11/15/13. On 10/15/13, I entered the store very upset that the 1 carat diamond white gold ring for $2500 I thought I had purchased from a new salesperson [redacted], was in reality sterling silver with an appraisal value of approximately $300. [redacted], the manager, confirmed it was silver and I informed him I wouldn't have bought a silver ring for $2500. [redacted] attempted to rectify the situation by exchanging it.

I exchanged for a $3500 1.15 carat diamond 10k gold ring which was discounted $500. Which also caused my payments to go up and that wouldnt be exchanged unless my account was "current". The next day I brought the ring back because it wasnt my style. They wouldn't take it if I wasnt exchanging it immediately. I walked out and [redacted] sat it onthe counter. One of the cashiers called me and I told her to put it in cleaning. That following Saturday I returned to the store to reselect. I selected a $2500 .75 carat diamond 10k gold ring. Since there was a $500 balance on the exchange I also picked a bracelet. [redacted] "discounted" these pieces because I was such a great customer supposedly. However the ring I ended with needed a stone so I didn't leave with it. I was told it would be ready two weeks later. Two weeks later I was told there was a delay and it would be another week. Unacceptable to me I advised I would seek legal advice. A few hours later...my ring miraculously arrived and [redacted] delivered it to me. Upon delivery he told me and I quote..."I got approval from my corporate office for another $250 discount so you will see that on your next invoice". My next invoice arrived and it wasn't on there. I was upset. When I had time to go in on 10/30/13, my first time making a late payment, I asked for a ledger showing the $250 discount prior to me paying. One could not be provided. [redacted] was on the phone and unavailable. I left the store. I called back twice that day. He was still unavailable. He finally called my home phone the next day on 10/31/13to state I would receive the discount at the end of the contract. That was not what he said upon delivery. In order for me to "see it on my next invoice", the discount would need to be applied immediately. On 11/01/13, a lady by the nameof [redacted] from MJ Financial was calling me. I demanded she not call me at work. Her next attempt to contact was on 11/07/13 to my home for REPOSSESSION! I AM LIVID. I want OUT of this bogus contract with this corrupt and unethical company. After threatening me like this with a Sheriff and I'm only 23days past due as of right now due to DISPUTE with the company, NOT my inability to pay. Desired Settlement: I paid approximately $400 on a ring before I upgraded to the $2500 ring that wasn't gold...I want that back. I want the payments back made on the silver ring approximately another $400 and I want them to zero out this balance and I will give them their jewelry. Or they can honor they're agreement and apply my discount immediately and I will resume payments. Reposession will NEVER take place.

This letter is to confirm that Case ID XXXXXXXX has been resolved as of November 23, 2013. [redacted] has agreed that she is a satisfied customer. The following will describe the the over and above actions that were taken to satisfy and retain a valued customer.

* A Customer Service credit in the amount of $250 was taken off the total Account balance.

* Finance charges in the amount $62.12 for the entire month of October 2013 was removed from the Account Balance.

* October 2013 late fee in the amount of $25 was removed from the total Account Balance.

* The Account was brought up to date and considered current with only 1 payment. [redacted] was 2 payments due. October 2013 and November 2013. This was an additional $125 that [redacted] did not have to pay to bring her account to a current status.

[redacted] stated, in her dispute, we have previously gone behind what our discount policy is to make it obtainable for [redacted] to have the higher price point ring that she wanted and only have to pay the price of a lower price point ring. We do not promote discounting or guarantee that our jewelery is sold at discounted prices. We are a Credit Jeweler. Our Mission is to help our customers to establish and in many cases re-establish their credit while paying for beautiful jewelery for themselves or their love ones. By reporting on-time payments to the 3 major Credit Bureau's, our customers have that opportunity to a path of accomplishing their credit goals.

We did not have any contact information for [redacted] during the month of October 2013. The primary telephone number had been changed or was not currently in service. Per our Collection Practice Disclosure, It states that the customer is aware of their payment due date and that they have a 5 day grace period to either make a payment or to contact our place of business to set up a payment arrangement. If the account goes beyond the 5 grace period and the account holder fails to make contact with our place of business, we do reserve the right to contact references and dispatch an employee to their home and or employment to collect a payment and or the merchandise. [redacted] agreed and signed the terms of the loan at the time the account was established on April 26, 2012.

Review: Unethically inflated prices on merchandise purchased

I purchased a wedding set that was told by the sales person that they had a value of 2000.00 and after getting them appraised were only valued at under 100.00. I feel I was ripped off and scammed and im sure there are others who are being taken advantage of as wellDesired Settlement: I would like to recieve a refund as I now have wedding rings with almost no monetary value and my stones continue to fall out. We here at Milestonz Jewelers strive in customer service. Our business is based on helping customers establish credit by reporting the customer's payment history to all 3 major credit bureaus. We do not promote or guarantee the lowest price as a Jewelry store. We cannot guarantee the customer will not find the same or similar item at a lower price at another location.

We have reached out to the customer and offered to greatly reduce the sales price by 50% off the retail price if paid in full within 90 days. The customer accepted this generous offer and agreed to remove the dispute in light of us resolving her issue. We have since lost contact with the customer to collect the remaining amount. We have emailed and left numerous messages. The account will continue through the collection process at the original amount unless the amount proposed has been satisfied within the terms discussed and confirmed by email.

Review: On 5/3/2014, I went to Milestonz Jeweler to inquire about their advertised mailers and commercials, stating $30.00 down for $300.00 store loan. I met with [redacted], a sale person. I selected two items. I returned to store on Monday May 5, 2014. I met with another employee who did not give her name,also none of the employees have name badges to Identify them.I was told that I would to need five references, and credit check, would have to be performed first, I agreed. the employee consistently lied, and misled me about loan process. California has full disclosure laws, which Milestonz violated. I should been told the truth about their loan process before any credit inquiry was performed. I was told that the employee would contact my references and ask if they know me nothing else, but when she spoke to my references by telephone, she interrogated my references, asking questions such as my income. Such questioning violates California Privacy Laws. Milestonz requires a pay stub and an identification card which verify my income. I was also told by the employee, that if and when I default on the loan, Milestonz would send an employee to my home to forcefully retrieved their property. I consider this domestic terrorism and criminal activity. I was told that Milestonz charges a $9.00 per month finance charge on their loans, which is not part of the written contractual agreement and again was not full disclosure. I declined the loan and left the store. I did ask for my personal information to be returned to me me, but they refused. I am concerned about identity theft and I will have to purchase identify protection. I believe that Milestonz jeweler is using racist and unfair business practices against consumers, because many of its customers are minorities which do not understand their civil and constitutional rights. I am requesting a copy of video of that day. I contacted the [redacted], which suggested I also file a complaint with Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I request Milestonz Jeweler pay for one year credit monitoring service. I am also requesting an apology for the unprofessional,unethical treatment I received from its employees.
