Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Milholland Electric Inc has again not addressed my concerns and issues As stated from May 2013-April we generated Net Energy Metering credits, as indicated by SDG&E Our household used only Net Metering Credits, as a result SDG&E afforded me a credit of $due to surplus energy that I chose to roll over into the next electric fiscal year From May 2014-Februrary we only generated Net Energy Metering Credits and as a house hold used Net Metering Credits It is obvious that the system was not fully operational from approximately May to November 2014, per the online BENQ energy monitoring systems half the panels were offline My bank account is enrolled with SDG&E automatic payment SDG&E withdrew $in October and $in November to cover the electrical deficit that the Solar System was not generating The credit of $was also depleted Furthermore the life time energy production graph furnished by BENQ monitoring website which manufactures the panels indicates a huge variance in energy production amongst panels The variance per our written contract should be that all panels operate within 10% variance of each other My panels operate within 84% variance of each other and this is an obvious breach of contract For example certain panels generate 112.55kwh and others generate 429.43kwh This is a vast difference in energy production and efficiency As you will notice Milholland never addresses this issue despite numerous inquiries All of this information has been verified by either the BENQ online monitoring system It has also been verified by an SDG&E Solar Specialists My retort to Milhollands "true up" theory is as follows: From May to March we accumulated NEM Credits From May to March we accumulated NEM Credits, as you can see this is significantly lower This equates to a 23% reduction in overall efficiency Milholland Electric Inc is clearly in breach of contract, I have attempted in good faith to resolve this issue but the owner has not reciprocated I would like my panels to be within the 10% variance, as indicated by our written agreement and warranty I would like to be reimbursed for lost energy as indicated in our written contract Respectfully [redacted]

This customers complaint is not validThe customer did not pay for the monitoring package he is referring toIt was not in his contractWe have not ignored the customer and advised him that the product he is looking for comes at an additional feeHe was never told we will get back to you*** has reached out to him yet again today to see how we can resolve thisDue an accounting error on the way the payments were constructed, there was a discrepancy between the payments and the total contract price of $in his favorWe decided to eat the error and he paid $less than the contract priceWe have really worked to satisfy this customer

Please remember that your monthly statements from SDG&E
are simply statements and not Bills it even says so on the first page that
Payment is not required at this time
You currently have produced 525 KWH more than you have used
since April of 2014, please let the yearly bill cycle run its course charges
continue to roll forward and they will be offset by overproduction
Your system true up happens once a year on April 7th,
any money you paid this year will now carry forward as credits to next year.
You didn’t need to pay anything this year except the $5 monthly service charge
fees.
Since we turned your system on in April of 2013 you have
produced excess energy as recorded by SDGE, you had a credit for the solar
fiscal year of 2014 of 3040 KWH (see page 4 of the 2014 true up bill) and so
far you have one for the solar fiscal year of 2015, of 525 KWH (see page 4 of
current bill)

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I purchased a product from Milholland Electric Inc and expect that product to function at peak efficiency and maximum performance within the parameters of the warranty and its mechanical capacity.  The life time energy production of the individual solar panels is not with the 10% variance as illustrated on the BENQ reporting site.  Per our written contract I am afforded reimbursement for lost energy.  I insist that the system function at maximum capacity as that is what I paid for.  I did not anticipate that the system experience such serious issues within a few years of its installation. Even with low light/sun conditions the panels should still be within 10% efficiency albeit with lower energy output.  Milholland Electric again fails to address the LIFETIME variance in individual solar panel production.  I have attempted in good faith to resolve this issue and my valid concerns were never fully addressed.  As stated before I would like to be reimbursed for my energy losses and would like the system to function with in the parameters of the warranty.  Is the sum of my electricity bill reason for the system to not be operating at maximum capacity or efficiency? Regardless of what my electricity bill is I expect my system to be fully functional.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Milholland Electric Inc has again not addressed my concerns and issues.  As stated from May 2013-April 2014 we generated 726.72 Net Energy Metering credits,  as indicated by SDG&E.  Our household used only 189.4 Net Metering Credits, as a result SDG&E afforded me a credit of $177.65 due to surplus energy that I chose to roll over into the next electric fiscal year.  From May 2014-Februrary 2015 we only generated 360.30 Net Energy Metering Credits.  and as a house hold used 570.16 Net Metering Credits.  It is obvious that the system was not fully operational from approximately May 2014 to November 2014, per the online BENQ energy monitoring systems half the panels were offline.  My bank account is enrolled with SDG&E automatic payment.  SDG&E withdrew $160.53 in October 2014 and $36.70 in November to cover the electrical deficit that the Solar System was not generating.  The credit of $177.65 was also depleted.  Furthermore the life time energy production graph furnished by BENQ monitoring website which manufactures the panels indicates a huge variance in energy production amongst panels.  The variance per our written contract should be that all panels operate within 10% variance of each other.  My panels operate within 84% variance of each other and this is an obvious breach of contract.  For example certain panels generate 112.55kwh and others generate 429.43kwh.  This is a vast difference in energy production and efficiency.  As you will notice Milholland never addresses this issue despite numerous inquiries.   All of this information has been verified by either the BENQ online monitoring system.  It has also been verified by an SDG&E Solar Specialists.  My retort to Milhollands "true up" theory is as follows:  From May 2013 to March 2014 we accumulated 635 NEM Credits.  From May 2014 to March 2015 we accumulated 486.13 NEM Credits, as you can see this is significantly lower.  This equates to a 23% reduction in overall efficiency.  Milholland Electric Inc is clearly in breach of contract, I have attempted in good faith to resolve this issue but the owner has not reciprocated.  I would like my panels to be within the 10% variance, as indicated by our written agreement and warranty.  I would like to be reimbursed for lost energy as indicated in our written contract.   Respectfully [redacted]

Thank you for the update and guidance throughout this process. As mentioned, we are scheduled to visit Mr....

[redacted] this afternoon at 1 pm. I’ll make sure to keep you updated as we make progress coming to a resolution. Here are some more details on the situation we’re dealing with.
The solar system was design to reduce Mr. [redacted]s electrical bill by $2,300.00 a year. The system started producing energy at the begging of 2015. His bill from 03/18/2014 to 02/16/2015 was $4742.55 and his bill from04/15/2015 to 03/16/2016 was $555.82. Our installed system is saving him $4186.73, or $2442.55 more than the proposal we gave him and he approved.
We recently tried to look into the production of his system but were unable to confirm data as Mr. [redacted] moved the internet router that communicates the information to the server so we are currently unable to verify the production on his system. As a courtesy we will be going out to Mr. [redacted]’s property today to help him reestablish communication with his system free of charge. Once our technician comes back to the office he will be able to confirm information so we can then have more data to share with Mr. [redacted] and address his concerns.
I hope this information provides you with more insight on the situation at hand. Please let me know if you have any questions at all, I’m happy to provide you with any other information you might need or any supporting documents as well.
[redacted]

This customers complaint is not valid. The customer did not pay for the monitoring package he is referring to. It was not in his contract. We have not ignored the customer and advised him that the product he is looking for comes at an additional fee. He was never told we will get back to you. [redacted]...

has reached out to him yet again today to see how we can resolve this. Due an accounting error on the way the payments were constructed, there was a discrepancy between the payments and the total contract price of $500 in his favor. We decided to eat the error and he paid $500 less than the contract price. We have really worked to satisfy this customer.
