RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE @ 1800sawdust!
Dealer here! Sent in a tool for repair for a customer. Had issues submitting the choice for REPAIR (instead of recycle or return) on the service ticket. Emailed. Not helpful responses. Called 1 800sawdust thinking it would be quicker and was INTERRUPTED 4 times while explaining the issue! After the last interruption, when asked what I needed help with, I said you let me talk I'll tell you! So incredibly rude, not helpful and resolved NOTHING and I will be contacting the rep as well!

ZERO FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
I have a Milwaukee M18 Lithium Hammer Drill. As far as I'm concerned, Milwaukee has always made the best power drills on the planet. My M18 is no exception. Recently, a contractor that was working at my house forgot his drill and used my M18 to drill through some tile. The next day, I tried to remove the masonry bit from my drill but the chuck was frozen SOLID. I tried everything but the chuck would not budge - this included putting the drill in a vise and using large tongue & groove pliers to try to loosen it. Nope. So I emailed Milwaukee Customer "Service" twice, over the period of a week, with no response. I tried the repair center, with zero luck. I called Customer "Service" TWICE and left my name and number for a callback. 48 hours later, both times ... nothing. So... I tried one last thing. I put the chuck of my M18 into the vise and then turned the body of the drill and ... voila! The bit dropped out. I'm sure glad I remedied this issue on my own and never need to contact Milwaukee again because their CS is worse that AT&T or Xfinity. -AMB

I purchased a Milwaukee M18 Fuel Brushless Impact Driver about 2.5 years ago. I have barely used it and it is now very slow and pretty much useless. I am unofficially homeless as I write this and getting ready too build a house. The driver is a much needed tool in my endeavor. I bought it because of the company's self-professed "reliability," and now I can't even build my forms for my foundation. I live over 100 miles from a service center and need the tool now

purchased a product that broke after two months. contacted Milwaukee about the issue. I was told that I must send the tool in by what they call E service. Did all the steps they asked and got emailed a return label by the company. Sent the tool in by Fed ex. After a month of not hearing anything about the progress I called in to inquire about the tool. I was then told that I sent the tool to the wrong location when all I did was print the return label fallowing step by step orders. This process took so much time that I was forced to go purchase another tool from a different manufacture. I ask Milwaukee to send the original tool back because I was given the ok to return the broken tool to the authorized dealer for a complete refund. Milwaukee told me not a problem. I was then contacted via email by Milwaukee asking me lots of question about the tool. I then found out that Milwaukee had lost the tool. I told Milwaukee that I am looking to get a refund for my tool because I was forced to purchase another tool and that I need my original tool or a refund. They asked me to send over a copy of my purchase so I did. I then got an email saying that they are just going to send a new tool out. I told them that the authorized dealer will only give me my money back for a broken tool. I then got a email back from Milwaukee telling all about this authorized dealers return policy and that I can return a non broken tool for a full refund. Few days later I got a new tool from Milwaukee in the mail that I can now go return. When I went to return the tool I was told in order for me to get a refund I need to return the broken tool. I contacted Milwaukee again by phone and by email and I have not heard anything back after several attempts and even being told they would contact me.

I've always known Milwaukee to be a quality brand but shied away from them due to cost. Lately, I've found brands I used to buy don't hold the same quality as they once did and discovered they have been bought out by other brands. I've also had recent troubles with certain brands upholding their warranty guarantee. I started purchasing Milwaukee hoping they held up to their reputation, and they did!
You don't really know the quality you paid for until something goes wrong and you need the company to back its guarantee. All the tools I've purchased from Milwaukee perform outstandingly. But, I did have a ratchet in a socket set that started to malfunction. When I contacted Milwaukee they quickly sent a replacement without hesitation. They also sent a paid return shipping label and requested I sent back the defective ratchet for their engineers to look at. They compensated me further for taking the trouble to do so.
Milwaukee's customer service went beyond expectation when dealing with this matter. They made everything quick, simple and easy. With exception to this one defective hand tool, their tools outperform other competitors. In my opinion, they are well worth the cost.

On 12/26/2019, I initiated a warranty claim for a ratchet that came in a socket set serial #48-22-9038. It’s been nearly four months and have not received my replacement. I have had contact with a representative to verify that a replacement would be sent. Nothing as of yet. This discussion happened sometime in February 2020.

I have sent a tool into Milwaukee for repair. I purchased the product 2.5 years ago at ***. The emailed me saying they would not perform the repair because the serial number was not visible and they could not confirm that the product is under warranty. All products have a 5 year warranty, and the tool I purchased has not been in production for 5 years, therefore it is physically impossible for any of said tool in the whole universe to be past the warranty time period. The claim that because I have no receipt for the tool I puchased 2.5 years ago, and the serial number is not valid, they have no way of knowing it is less than 5 years old. I spoke to multiple customer service representatives that confirm the tool has not existed for 5 years. common sense dictates there is no need for a receipt or a serial number. *** was unable to provide a receipt. And the reason the serial number is not visible is because Milwaukee PRINTED it on the tool, so it easily wears off within months of use. If they would've STAMPED it on metal, it would still be visible. The lack of a visible serial number is completely milwaukees fault- poor production methods. But this is not even important, they refuse to admit that the tool is under warranty simply due to the fact that none such tool has existed for 5 years. The only option the give me is to pay 73 dollars and have the tool repaired. I have opted to do that in an email because they refuse to honor the warranty. They have not yet contacted me for payment, and paperwork they've sent me signifies the tool will be scrapped 3 days from now, on April 22nd

About a year ago I did an online claim with milwaukee tools about warranting my M18 grinder and M12 3/8 ratchet I gave them both of the serial numbers and were approved for both items to be warrantied. They gave me shipping labels and I sent them. So about a month later I called to ask about my tools and they told me that my grinder was on it's way and my 3/8 ratchet would not be covered under warranty because the serial number had rubbed off on the unit so they threw it out. I learned recently from a milwaukee representative that I needed to make a claim for my ratchet because their policy is not to throw any item away it will get sent back to the customer disassembled. So I've tried to email them and have not received any feed back at all. I would like to know why they are throwing away my tool and not doing what their policy states and sending me my tool back

Manufacturer refused to supply the battery that was part of a rebate promotion. Met all terms required of the rebate offer and have submitted adequate documentation in support of the rebate claim. Attempted to contact company by phone and have been on a perpetual hold. Used their call back feature but never received a call back. This company has failed to honor the rebate. Purchased the coat from CPO and then submitted the rebates claim to the manufacturer before the deadline and purchase was made during the applicable purchase period. Also replied to denial email and manufacturer did not reply

Hello,We will contact the customer immediately and resolve. Thanks,Milwaukee Tool

I ordered a factory reconditioned Milwaukee Hammerdrill from CPO outlets that is factory warranties by Milwaukee. Out of the box, the tool did not work. I contacted Milwaukee 3 times on their website to try and get in contact with someone at their company. I called the number included with the product (1-800-SAWDUST) and left a call back message per the automated prompting on their line and received no contact from Milwaukee Tool(that was approximately two weeks ago). I am at a loss of how to return the product for a functioning tool or to at the least return product for a refund.

I submitted a help request through milwakuees website because I have a jigsaw blade that broke instantly, but I also have a circular saw that quiets working after a short period as if the battery is dead in it when the battery still has a really good charge. unfortunately they refused to get in touch with me. both tools has very little use on them. the circular saw was purchase back on 11-26-18 and jigsaw on 8-18-19 which both should still be covered by the warranty.

December 5th of 2018 I purchased a Milwaukee heated jacket for my husband who is a construction worker. He was able to enjoy the benefits of the coat for a few months in the winter season of 2018-2019. The coat was then hung up until it was needed this winter. My husband used the coat one time with a brand new battery and noticed it wasn't working as well as it did the past season. He tried it the next day (again fully charged/properly working battery) and the jacket would not turn on at all. The product is still under warranty (This happened early November of 2019 and there is a 1 year warranty from purchase date which was 12/5/2018) so I reached out to Milwaukee tools customer service line. I was advised I would have to take it in to a Milwaukee service center , but there was not one in my state. I requested a shipping label to mail the coat to the closest one and was told they would not assist with this. I then tried the online customer service feature. WEEKS later I receive a phone call from a gentlemen named *** (The only REMOTELY helpful person in this whole process) asking if I was satisfied with my resolution and how my problem was handled. I advised him the issue had not been handled what so ever. After some phone conversations and some attempts to troubleshoot , he agreed to get me a shipping label and advised Milwaukee would honor the warranty ( I was nervous at this point it was around Dec 3rd). I waited a few weeks and called to receive the status of the jacket/warranty processing. When I spoke to someone in Baltimore I was basically told it's a seasonal item and I would just have to wait around for a call. I was told basically the same thing by *** a few days later. About a week ago my husband called again to check the status and was advised we were NOT EVEN IN THE SYSTEM! It is now Jan 15th and I have heard not one word about the status of this situation. They really need to do better in standing behind their product, this item worked literally 3 months tops-pitiful, and then to go through all the hoops to be told "sit and wait , and if you've waited awhile...wait some more" After this experience I would not offer the Milwaukee brand to anyone. I don't think I am being unreasonable and I have tried to be patient- but at this rate they *MIGHTsend me a jacket by May when it's 75 degrees where I live- just to possibly go through this song and dance next winter. They have my money and my product with no hope of resolution. Unacceptable. I would like to give them one last opportunity to fix this before I start going to public forums.

A credit was issued to the customer in Feb. 2020. Please see details below. Is it possible to reach out to the customer to confirm if she received it or not and update the complaint accordingly? Thanks

On 11-13-19 I contacted the closest warranty repair facility for my Milwaukee 2766-20 1/2 impact wrench which had malfunctioned. On 11-14-19 I shied the tool to APW Valley Machine in Wasilla AK for the repairs. I spoke with Art (907-373-5788), who said the repair would be under warranty, but, a part would have to be ordered. This could a few days he said. I checked with Art about ten days later. He said the part had been lost in shipping from Milwaukee. We've talked a couple of more times; I got the impression that Milwaukee Tool is the problem. I called Milwaukee Tool early this morning. I got the 'run around' from the lady who ansered the phone. After her initial wasting of my time, she promised to look into the matter and call me back today; she did not. In two days, I will have been waiting for a month for the tool to be repaired.

12-17-2019 11:00 am. I was just contacted by *** at Milwaukee tool. She was very helpfull. I am hopeful this matter will now be resolved. Thanks for your help.

I purchased a Milwaukee table saw December 4th, 2018 and the product quit working November 6th, 2019. I proceeded to call Milwaukee Tool November 6th, 2019 and was instructed to ship the table saw to their location service center for the issue to be diagnosed. The customer service rep set expectations that I would receive contact within 7-10 business days with an update and that the saw would be fixed and sent back to me as it is under their factory warranty. I have used the saw for light residential use (two days a week) and have always maintained within the usage instructions as advertised. I had not received any contact from Milwaukee Tool so I contacted customer service on November 26th, 2019 for an update. I spoke to both Nakita and her supervisor Angie who advised me someone called me November 15th, 2019. I had never once received a call from Milwaukee customer service. I confirmed the phone number they had for me was correct. I was then advised that the product was not covered under warranty due to motor over use. They have not provided any supports or documentation on how they came to this conclusion. They advised they would mail the product back to me and I have still never received an update or have received my table saw and it is currently December 6th, 2019. I paid $549 for this product and used it within the instructed parameters. The manufacturer's warranty is noted for five years after date of purchase for residential use. Milwaukee Tool's customer service never followed through on expectations and never confirmed any supports as to why they denied to honor the product's warranty. I do not even have the product as they failed to ship it back to me as they said they would.
