We have used them to get tickets printed for our small businessEVERY re-order we have done they come back and tell us our file was corrupted or some other excuse and that they will have to recreate it We have yet to have tickets printed the same wayAfter this last time we had had enough and will find another printing companyThese people argued with us about what we had on our original tickets THAT THEY PRINTED telling us that an image was not there when it was Customer service is awful and their attitude is not goodTheir attention to detail is sorely lacking as wellNot a good trait for a printing companyBuyer beware!

The complaint leveled by the Pastor is essentially what transpired. We have printed orders of each starting in Jan 2006, Novand FebThe envelopes they brought to my store could have been as old as years oldI looked at the samples we have of the products we printed
and all envelope samples we have of the previously printed jobs were fineThe samples brought into us were wrinkled and showed obvious evidence of moistureThe Pastor states they stored them in a dry place and has no idea why they are sealed shutAgain it is obvious even to the untrained eye that moisture came in contact with these envelopes after they left our shop causing the envelopes to sealI’ve been in this business for years and never seen thisPlease consider when making your evaluation why would they order envelopes months ago and just now be using them? Also, I cannot be responsible for institutions mishandling products we produce for themI think what happened is much like someone purchasing pounds of shrimp at the grocery store and placing it in their freezer and months later when they go to use the shrimp they find they are freezer burned and expect the grocery store to replace the shrimpI don't think soThe Pastor was very unwilling to accept any responsibility, was rude and at that point I chose to end the conversation.Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact meSincerely,
Robert JM***

Revdex.com Complaint ID ***This is a response to "*** ***i" complaint.Ms *** is not a regular customer My staff and I (Tim COwner) have only recalled seeing her a couple other time in the last year She complains about being understaffed, yes she came at lunch time when one of my counter employees was out to lunch As for machines, yes on the day in question we did have one machine down and were busyAs for taking days to fit her in? No this is not true Ms*** brought in original art work (felt tip marker drawings, some containing metallic ink that cannot be matched by our copiers) My counter person (a Graphics designer) told Ms*** that we would not be able to match the colors exactly before she started Ms *** explained that the last time we had made them close and she understood After my Counter person spent 1/hours working to get the copies correct (Copies were purchased and copies were made tweaking color settings to meet her specifications that were thrown away) she purchased the copies for under $ It was at that time that she said that she had another job The job was for Sheets to be laminated It was almost 4pm in the afternoon and my counter person told her that we would not be able to get to it until tomorrow (Friday) or maybe Monday because of already scheduled work She asked to talk to me and I explained that we were busy finishing other jobs that have been scheduled with deadlines and that laminated sheets would take about an (1) hour and we would try to get to them on Friday, but guaranteed by Monday by Noon She was not happy and left I asked my counter person if she had mentioned the laminating when she came in because we could have been running them why she was working on the copies She said no and did not bring up the laminating until after she had paid for the copies? After Ms*** left I received a phone call while her car was still in my parking lot It was at that time that she demanded that I stop everything we were doing and get her laminated sheets done I explained again that we had jobs in front of hers that had been scheduled and that we could get to it Friday most likely and for sure by Monday This is when Ms*** became irate and said it was unacceptable and became belligerent trying to bully us into doing the job According to Ms*** I was hollering on the phone At no time did this occur, in fact I gave her options of other companies that may be able to meet her demands I have trained Customer Service for years with NetJets and have owned my own business for years I only explained that the job takes time and the best we could do was Friday or Monday If you have any further questions please feel free to contact me below.Thank You for your time.Tim C.Minuteman PressS 4th StreetNewark, OH 43055*** *** *** *** ***

Approximately one week after picking up his order, the customer called to report that the sets of business cards he had received had not been cut properlyAs we do any time there is an issue with an order, we replied that we would take care of it and to please bring in the cards so we can see
them.Upon returning the cards to us a short time later, the customer commented to one of our employees that he would like to add more information (a website) to the cards when they are re-printed.We reviewed the cards carefully and found that they are all either perfect or virtually perfect - certainly none "crooked" (this was one of the claims) - with an extremely low percentage (10-15%) of them noticeably off-centerWith business cards, there is a tiny margin of error associated with cutting precision, and the few off-center cards fell within that margin.Upon further review, we found that the artwork that was submitted to us by the customer - and created by the customer - was itself off-centerWe informed the customer of this but he did not acknowledge itWe would be happy to show this artwork to anyone involved with the dispute. We offered to re-print the business cards with the new artwork that included the website (at a significantly reduced rate) but the customer completely rejected this offer and chose to pursue his claim in an attempt to get a full refund. Finally, the customer complained about inaccurate color associated with some text on one side of the cardWe explained that there are major differences between colors that are displayed on a monitor (particular one that is not calibrated) vscolors that are produced on home printing equipment vscolors that are produced on commercial printing equipmentWe inquired further into the software that the customer used to create the business card artwork, as well as the color "table" that was used, neither of which he could (or would) confirmWe asked if he had been using "Pages" or "Publisher", but again he could or would not confirmWe explained that using non-professional software, and selecting colors from a color table (exRGB) that is not directly compatible with a commercial color table (CMYK and PMS) will result in color variationsWe tried producing the cards on multiple pieces of equipment, which are professionally calibrated on a daily basis, and in each instance the color was the same.Ultimately, we determined that that was nothing we could do to produce a better set of cards for this customerHis original artwork can not yield a better product than has already been produced, and as such we would not likely be able to satisfy him even if we did re-print the cardsTherefore, in an effort to make the customer feel at least somewhat better and less victimized, we refunded half of his moneyWe did not (and still do not) feel we are obligated to refund the entire amount given the high quality product that was produced. The customer maintains that his gripe is completely unrelated to having mistakenly omitted the website from his original artworkWe will probably never really know.I am not ashamed of the product that we produced; it is a quality productBut I do regret that we were not able to arrive at a fair resolution to satisfy the customerIn my 4+ years owning this long-standing business, this is the first time a transaction has had such a conclusion; it doesn't feel good

I was so happy to work with Minuteman Press***, the designer, was patient and helpful, and my wedding invitations turned out beautifully! The service was timely and the product was qualityI would highly recommend Minuteman!

I volunteer with support our soldiersalabama.org and used Minuteman Press the last couple monthsI like this printing company because #its family based business #Everytime I have had copies made they email the proofa proof to approveI dont email my approval, I call them and make sure we are on the same pageI think they are greatAfter first of the year they are going to work with me to make pocket prayer cards so that our troops can carry it with themThey are always on time and we discuss price at length so that I myself understandThey dont know the amt of graphics til they get into the workBut the pocket cards, my picture was detailed and he was upfront that the graphics may run the quote up He gave me a "quote" as said beforeThey give ample time for me to decideSo after first of the yr they are going to work on several pictures I bring in and see which is more economical Ppl you need to verify over several times before ur approval and this would never have been an issueWhere is the other positive review I sent in several months agoSomeone didnt use my positive quoteIf I check back and these positive quotes arent in these reviews Ill be contacting the Revdex.com myselfComplainers are always heard but positive reviews seem to be over lookedSLA

Their attention to detail is sorely lacking as well. Not a good trait for a printing company. Buyer beware!

I went into this business to order business cards, door hangers, and yard signs. I was told that my order would be done quickly as I was in a hurry. The stock needed for my cards wasn't there when I went to get my cards so I was given white business cards (not what I ordered). On my way home I opened the box to notice that my name want correct on the cards. So I called on to make sure that my correct colored cards would be correct also. I was told that the stock for my cards would be in on Monday and I could pick up my business cards that afternoon. Tuesday morning I received a call telling me that they had just received the stock. They were to call me when they were done. I received no call so I went there the next day and they were closed for the holiday. After the holiday I went in to get the correct ones and was given half my order, which I was then told I owed money for even though I paid in full when I ordered. I was told that I could come back the next day to get the rest. After getting them I was told the rest if my order would be done by Friday. Monday I went to the office (now three weeks in) and was told their internet was down they couldn't send my order, this was the story for two days. Then I was told they could print the door hangers but still couldn't order the signs. I picked up the door hangers which also were not correct. I was then told the next day that the graphic design guy had quit and I couldn't get the signs. He was going to refund the sign money. When I got the check a week later the same traffic design guy was sitting right there. Very unprofessional and rude. Would never go here again!!
