Miracle Autosport Reviews (22)

Review: Purchased a vehicle online. Seller misrepresented vehicle. Lied about defects. Lied about reimbursement for repairs. Vehicle was unsafe to drive when I received it. Had multiple issues. Asked specific questions about vehicle all answers were lies.Desired Settlement: A $500 check as stated by seller for reimbursement of repairs made to make vehicle safe to operate.

Review: The dealer sold me a car and told me it has only minor signs of wear. An autoshop told me it needs a lot of repairs and is unsafe to drive. The dealer also sold me an extended warranty with the car. When I claimed against the warranty, the warranty company said the car is not eligible for the warranty. I contacted the dealer to repair or I want to return the car, if without a warranty. The dealer insisted that the car was sold as-is. The car was clearly documented as sold with a warranty. The transaction is a fraud.Desired Settlement: Without warranty, I can't afford to repair the car. I want a full refund.

Response:

The buyer purchased a 2007 [redacted] Upon visual inspection he offered me far less than asking price. His reasoning was that he felt that since the vehicle had a repossession in its history that he was concerned about it needing work and or maintenance. I agreed to the lower price and at that time also offered a service contract to him. The car was purchased as is from me, with the addition of a 3rd party service contract which is done under a separate contract. The contract states that the warranty company has the right the deny coverage or the contract in its entirety at its discretion. Through no fault of our own they did just that. The buyer immediately brought the car to [redacted] and had them go over everything that it needed. He already tried using [redacted] as a tool to get a refund and their 3rd party mediators made it clear to him that there were no grounds for it. This was based on the fact that the items [redacted] quoted him on were all maintenance issues and/or wear and tear, which were the grounds on which he had the price reduced. It is not fair that he negotiated an 7000 dollar price drop (%25 off) only to then try and get more money out of me. I have all documentation to support the statements I have made. Futhermore, I had offered to [redacted] to address a few of his concerns as a courtesy at my location. He never responded or scheduled an appointment to bring the car in. Miracle Autosport is guilty of nothing here, [redacted] made a just from a 1997 Toyota Camry to a 2007 [redacted] and I believe he is suffering from buyers remorse for what may have been a poor decision. I appreciate your help in settling this matter.Sent on: 12/9/2014 12:26:33 PM

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

The dealer didn't address anything I complained. 1. Did the dealer disclose the damages of the car? No, he didn't. It needs desperate repairs. 2. Did the dealer sell the car, packaged with a warranty? Yes, and now it has no warranty. The whole contract about the car should be void. Regarding what the dealer said, 1. 'the price was down.' It was due to repossession in [redacted] and the rationale is that the dealer didn't disclose the repossession and resale price should be lower. But I wanted to car to be mechanically sound, as the dealer claimed, and be able to pass the state inspection. The car failed. 2. 'It was purchased as-is.' No, it wasn't purchased as-is. There's document stating clearly. 3. 'Warranty. The car is ineligible. no fault of our own they did just that.' No, the dealer had ample time to check whether the car is eligible or not, instead of selling the customer the warranty together with car and left a customer a damaged car without warranty. 4. '3rd party mediators made it clear to him that there were no grounds for it.' No, this is a lie. The 3rd party protection program covered limited items, as I was told. For example, engine sensor is damaged. It's not a part of the engine, which is covered. But it doesn't mean there's no damage. The engine light is on and can't pass the state inspection. 5. 'maserati quoted him on were all maintenance issues and/or wear and tear'. No. These were damages. For example, leading rack made the car unsafe to drive. By the way, the dealer claimed in the listing that the car needs no maintenance. In any case, the dealer lied about the quality of the car. 6. 'he negotiated an 7000 dollar price drop '. No, from $26,500 to $25,000. 7. 'address a few of his concerns as a courtesy '. No, it's not useful. The warranty is supposed to cover expensive damages such as driving rack and lower bushings. The dealer never agreed to be responsible for these damages and never disclosed them. Without the warranty, the bill of sale should be void. I communicated to the dealer to return the car immediately. 8.'Miracle Autosport is guilty of nothing here'. Miracle Autosport, previously Vision Custom Car', had a history of scamming individuals, accoridng to this website http://www.justanswer.com/consumer-protection-law/8i1w7-purchased-car-[redacted]... as I just found out. Attorneys recommended victims to report to New Jersey Attorney General. Why did it change name to hide? 9. 'from a 1997 Toyota Camry to a 2007 Maserati and I believe he is suffering from buyers remorse for what may have been a poor decision.' I want to return the damaged car and buy another [redacted]Regards,
