Miracle Saffron Reviews (32)

Review: I recently bought a trial of Miracle Saffron off a website. I did read the fine print and understood there would be a 4.95 shipping cost when I received the product from the date of purchase the Miracle Saffron people do not give you enough time to see if it works I havent had the bottle open they stated if I shipped it back with half the product it would be 44.92. NO MATTER WHAT IF I SHIP IT BACK AFTER CANCELLATION AND NO USE OF THE PRODUCT I WILL STILL HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER FEE TO SHIP BACK WHICH IS LIKE probable another 4.95. I am dissatified with the service I feel this is a scam if you dont read the fine print it gets worse you have to pay 88.95 for the product and it is taken automatically out of your account if its not canceled. CAN NOT GET THEM ON THE PHONE THE CUSTOMER WAIT TIME IS RIDICULOUS AND YOU HAVE TO DIG FOR AN EMAIL ADDRESS I AM SENDING THERE PRODUCT BACK PUTTING ME OUT OF POCKET FOR MONEY FOR A PRODUCT I DID NOT HAVE TIME TO USE SO I AM WRITING OTHER TO MAKE THEM AWARE OF THIS SCAM DONT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE CROOKS.Desired Settlement: I want a label and packaging to return the product they want back without charging me. I am planning on shipping product back but I should receive the 495 shipping fee and the return postage amount which is fair if they are getting there product back. They only gave me two days to get it back to them if they charge me the 44.95 I will be filing another complaint and have already talked to my bank.

At Miracle Saffron, every customer is given the right to try their first 30 day supply without charge for the first 14 days. After the 14 day trial period if the customer is unsatisfied with their product, they are to return the remainder postmarked for return within their 14 day trial period and also contact customer service to notify a request for cancellation. If the customer keeps their 30 day supply after the 14 days, they are automatically billed for their product on the 15th day and then automatically shipped and billed a product every 30 days thereafter. The customer has the ability to cancel at anytime by calling customer service or emailing [email protected]. If a customer needs to contact customer service, the phone number is listed on miraclesaffron.com, the product, the pamphlet, and the package the product is shipped in. The terms are disclosed clearly on miraclesaffron.com where the customer would have ordered their product. The customer has to also click "I agree to the terms and conditions" two times before the order is processed. If the customer does not "agree" to the terms, the order will not process. The terms and conditions are disclosed directly on the ordering website not only on the bottom of the first page, but also highlighted in a large white box on the second page where the customer inputs their card information as well as sent out with the product.

Ms. [redacted], placed her order on 6/6/14. This is when she paid the initial $4.95 and this began his 14 day trial period to sample from her initial 30 day supply. Ms. [redacted], contacted our company via email on 6/16/14 with a request for cancellation. She was given the option of returning the remainder of the product back for a full cancellation or keeping it for the 50% discounted rate of $43.82 and cancelling everything further. She responded back to that email on 6/16/14 stating "Just bill me the 40 something dollars after trail ends and cancel my subscription what a scam". She was advised via email on 6/17/14 that a one time charge will be processed on 6/21/14. Also informing Ms. [redacted] that she will receive an email confirmation regarding the cancellation of your account from future billings and shipments of the product.

On 6/18/14, our company received an email from BillGuard Resolve with the customer's request to cancel. We responded via email asking if she wish to continue with the one time charge of $43.82. She responded back stating she will send it back.

On 6/19/14, our company advised her on how to return back the product. She responded stating she had to pay for the return shipping and handling. We responded to her informing her of the shipping refund terms. However, we made an exception and refunded Ms. [redacted]'s account in the amount of $4.95 for shipping and handling as we value customer satisfaction. Although, Ms. [redacted] ordered our product on a 14 day trial basis, we allowed her to keep the 30 day supply product as a courtesy from our company.

The terms are disclosed clearly on miraclesaffron.com where you have ordered our product. You have to also click "I agree to the terms and conditions" two times before the order is processed. If you do not "agree" to the terms, the order will not process. The terms and conditions are disclosed directly on the ordering website not only on the bottom of the first page, but also highlighted in a large white box on the second page where you input your credit card information, as well as sent out with the product on the back outside of the packaging.

We have refunded the remainder of the amount due to this complaint, however we stand by our policies and we would like to reiterate that our customers accept the terms and conditions two separate times to process their orders. We state the terms and conditions clearly, and send a synopsis attached to every package. Terms and conditions are located on all ordering websites, and should be read as they are there for a reason. Please refer to our website. http://miraclesaffron.com/ or http://miraclesaffron.com/main/ and below is a brief explanation of our terms and conditions.

Terms and Conditions:

You must pay a shipping and handling fee of $4.95 for us to send you a full 30 day supply of Miracle Saffron. We ship the product the day after you place your order (except that orders placed Saturday-Sunday will be shipped the following Monday). You will have 14 days from your original order date to see if Miracle Saffron is right for you. If you are unhappy with the product at any time during those 14 days, you must call us at 1-866-219-1654 and cancel your order to avoid being billed for the full cost of the product. If you are satisfied with our product, then do nothing-we will bill you $87.63 for your initial order, and every thirty days thereafter we will send you a new 30-day supply of our product, and automatically bill you the low price of $87.63. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

Review: I tried their product for fourteen days and have had stomach problems and diarrhea off and on during this period. I ordered it on December 2nd at 2:37pm and called to cancel on December 17th a little after 2:00pm. I have hearing problems so my wife was making the phone call. The first person my wife talked to was [redacted] who said the best they could do was give me a partial refund. My wife said no an d wanted to speak to the manager. [redacted] answered and said she was the manager. She said we would have had to cancel on the 16th. My wife argued the one extra day with her. While she was talking to my wife she hurried to email a cancellation and a partial refund while my wife was stating she wanted a full refund. In the middle of discussing it, [redacted] hung up. My wife called back and got victor again and said she wanted to talk to her boss or the owner. He stated she was the boss and owner and all we could do was to send [redacted] an email and write to corporate on it voicing our complaint. This is ridiculous! [redacted] miss represented herself, was a rude [redacted] and didn't adhere to her own policy. Time wise I called before the 14 days were up. The product does not work as stated, is a health hazard and they refuse to talk or communicate about it.Desired Settlement: A full refund of all charges incurred and for them to stop falsely advertising and misrepresenting their product.

Review: When looking at the advertising about the weight loss program ,the product was presented to the effect your first bottle of the weight loss was free with the exception of shipping and handling. I wanted to try the product and then decide to order more if I chose to do so. The sales person I talked to at customer service said the product was sent on a trial bases of so many days if I kept it over the trial period I agreed to pay the full amount. I did not see any indication of this when ordering. I want to warn others when something seems to good to be true then think twice before you order. Its a shame that the company can not stand on the side if its product does what it claims, people will order more on their on. I am old enough to know better than do this and 89.00 is a pretty large mistake, please do not fall into this trap. I have not seen a weight loss product since using the product but was going to give it the 30 day try I am so Disgusted I fail prey to the shady advertising policy !!!Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund and to warn others about the companys shady advertising policy !

This is when she paid the initial $4.95 and this began her 14 day trial period to sample from her initial 30 day supply. Since there was no notification of a request for cancellation and/or a returned product during her allotted trial period, Ms. [redacted] was automatically billed for her 30 day supply on 10/23/13 as explained to her in the terms and conditions for which she agreed to. Ms. [redacted], contacted our company on 10/23/13 with a request for cancellation. Her account was canceled as instructed and she was sent a confirmation email confirming his cancellation. Although, Ms. [redacted] ordered our product, she has been refunded fully in the amount of $87.63.

Review: My daughter ordered the $4.95 trial for me, having read all the terms and conditions as best she could. No where did she see that she would have to cancel because we were being sent a 30 day supply, or that we were going to keep being billed automatically. However, when she DID find out, she came to this very website, where she found that many people had this exact same problem and were getting their money back.

When she called the company to sort this all out, not only did [redacted] (the man she was talking with) tell her that while one woman who was refunded everything after two months was a different case from someone asking for a refund after two weeks, he started to try to twist her words around and became incredibly rude to her, so much so that I could actually hear him over the phone. Once I took the phone from her to sort this out myself, he conveniently became calm and collected. I asked to speak to his supervisor several times, the first few times I was ignored, then was put on hold for 5 minutes for him just to come back and say he spoke to her for me. After asking again that I wanted to speak to her myself, I was put on hold for about 7 minutes.

The supervisor, Karen Thompson, constantly interrupted me and was belittling throughout the whole conversation. She kept offering a 50% refund, which is NOT what I wanted. I even offered to send back the unused pills for the whole refund, but she was having none of that. She kept saying that I won't have an idea how well they work if I don't use them for 30 days, but I have to cancel in 14 days or else I'll be billed. What's the point of canceling in two weeks if I have to take them for 30 days to see any results? After about a 15 minute conversation that resulted in absolutely nothing, I hung up.

I received a cancellation email, as well as an email stating I got $44.00 of my dollars back, but that is NOT what I want. I want my whole $87.95 dollars back.

This company needs to make this "cancel after 14 days" a little more apparent. From the looks of it, many people have been fooled by this, and this is a horrible way to make their money.Desired Settlement: I want my full refund, and if need be, I will send the unused pills back.

Review: This business offers a free trial, but they do not tell you your account will be charged $87.63 if you do not send the product back in 14 day. I am a college student and I just wanted to try the product. The product does not work and gave me extreme heartburn. My account is now over drawn and they are telling me it is my banks fault, because they voided the amount. Thank the lord I have [redacted] bank and they are willing to resolve the issue immediately!Desired Settlement: I would like my money in my account and for them to add on their website in bold print RETURN WITHIN 14 DAYS OR WE WILL CHARGE YOU!

The consumer placed her original order on April 8, 2013 for the 14-day trial period of the 30-day product supply. On the website the consumer must agree to the terms and conditions before the order is placed. We provide these terms on the website in three separate areas to read before agreeing to this information. We also send the terms and conditions with her packaging to ensure she is fully aware of her trial period and to cancel if she does not choose to have the product. The consumer contacted us on April 23, 2013, the same day she was charged for the full retail price of the product. The representative fully cancelled and voided the charge as the consumer was returning the product. The consumer agreed to this and understood we could not refund the insufficient charge applied to her account. The consumer then contacted us again on April 24, 2013 to verify she had been refunded and fully cancelled. She also was sent two e-mail confirmations outlining the cancellation and voided charge. As a company, we provide all of this information on the website in accordance with Visa and Mastercard transactions. The consumer could not place an order without verifying this information:TERMS AND CONDITIONS:You must pay a shipping and handling fee of $4.95 for us to send you a full 30 day supply of Miracle Saffron. Review: I ordered miraclesaffron on the net through miraclesaffron.com [ carson city nv] as my bank statement proves. $4.95 shipping. They took out payment on August 16 from account [ordered on august 14 on line. ] I recieved the prouct on 08/19/2013] through the mail. Now today 08/29/2013 San Diego took out $87.63 out of my account. saying they automatically take out the money from my account for a product. I did not order this from San Diego and I have not used 14 days cause I have not had the product but 10 days, which by the way does not work. I did not call because it has not been 14 days to tell them it does not work. they said they would refund half of the price of the product when I called to complain because I used it 14 days and used half the product, which I have not

used because I have not had 14 days. I told them the product does not work and sending them the rest of the product, but she said that was mine to keep they would not except it. I want my whole amount sent back in my account as I told them I was not satisifed with the product and that I had not ordered this product from them but from Carsen City Nv. it is not time to call carson city.Desired Settlement: $87.63 refund on the product I have not ordered from San Diego.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I agree I did order the from the supplement from a place in Nevada and the charges were taken out from a bank in Nevada, not San Diego, my proof that the product was from nevada is my bank statement, this is where the product is from the people in san diego was not included in my bank transaction, therefore I conclude, they illegally took money from my account without my authorazition for the product mentioned therefore they need to put my whole amount back into my account. if this be the case anyone from any where can take money out of my account. the only explanation I can come up with is they stole money from my account when they found out I ordered from another supplier.

Regards,

Review: I first order a free trial bottle from Miracle Saffron without being informed that I would be charged more money if I don't cancel my order during a period of time. The trial did come but it had no notification about that either. I made order #[redacted] on 12/18/2013 and $87.63 was took out of my account on 01/07/2014. Clearly the company want to rip off my money by not to send me any email about that.Desired Settlement: I don't want anything but my money back, every penny of it.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Its easy for a company such as this to say they informed the customer, with the proper number to cancel. If the order was accepted I/we would have received the bottles order. Nothing has came to my address, Asked local postal service and nothing delivered or signed for from either party.

The is unethical business practices on there part and should be more then happy to make any and all parties happy. This all started over $4.99 which was cancel by no accepting the first order.

Regards,

Business

I have sent this product back.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund ASAP

At Miracle Saffron, every customer is given the right to try

their first 30 day supply without charge for the first 14 days. After the 14

day trial period if the customer is unsatisfied with their product, they are to

return the remainder postmarked for return within their 14 day trial period and

also contact customer service to notify a request for cancellation. If the

customer keeps their 30 day supply after the 14 days, they are automatically

billed for their product on the 15th day and then automatically shipped and billed a product every 30 days

thereafter. The customer has the ability to cancel at anytime by calling

customer service or emailing [email protected]. If a customer needs to

contact customer service, the phone number is listed on miraclesaffron.com, the

product, the pamphlet, and the package the product is shipped in. The terms are

disclosed clearly on miraclesaffron.com where the customer would have ordered

their product. The customer has to also click "I agree to the terms and

conditions" two times before the

order is processed. If the customer does not "agree" to the terms,

Ms. [redacted] placed her order on 6/9/14. This is when she

paid the initial $4.95 and this began her 14 day trial period to sample from

his initial 30 day supply. Since there was no notification of a request for

cancellation and/or a returned product during her allotted trial period, Ms.

[redacted] was automatically billed for her 30 day supply on 6/24/14 as explained

to her in the terms and conditions for which she agreed to. Ms. [redacted],

contacted our company on 6/25/14 with a request for cancellation. Her account

was canceled as instructed and he was sent a confirmation email confirming his

cancellation. Based on the nature of the call, the customer service agent

refunded 50% of $87.63 on that same day which is $43.82 as a courtesy as we

value customer satisfaction.

Review: I ordered the Miracle Saffron 14-day free trial on January 20, 2014 under the implication by this company's advertisement that it would cost me the $4.95 shipping charge and nothing more. I received the Miracle Saffron capsules on January 24, 2014. I was looking over my bank statement and noticed pending charge of $87.63 which I had not authorized, and naturally I immediately cancelled my credit card for my safety, presuming the charge was due to credit card fraud. I went to my credit union and uncovered the source of this charge; Miracle Saffron had taken this unforeseen quantity from my account. Angered, I called and spoke with a representative (Lindsay) and told her my situation. She put me on hold so she could speak with her supervisor, who directed her to inform me that they were only able to refund half of this outrageous charge, and only to the account which I had already terminated. I then called my credit union to verify whether their refund was transferrable and they advised me that it was not possible to obtain said refund via the terminated account and that to have the company send the refund as a check was/is my sole option. So I called Miracle Saffron again to address them with this information and (this time a male representative) repeatedly bore false reassurance that my money would "go through" while simultaneously and entirely disregarding the fact that this is impossible to do with a terminated account and unwilling to offer any further assistance. I was appalled at the manner in which I was spoken to, I found their standard of business to be extremely unaccommodating as if in line with their deceitful scheme of hidden charges. I would like for the company to mail me a full refund in the form of a check, as I no longer intend for this company any trust regarding my credit card information.Desired Settlement: I would like Miracle Saffron to reimburse in-full my unauthorized fee of $87.63 and for the company to be more honest, putting customer satisfaction as a priority.

Review: I ordered a Miracle Saffron product and saw no indication that there would be additional products. I attempted to order a similar product and saw the information indicating the need for cancellation, so I did not order it. When the Miracle Saffron package came there was no information in the package indicating the need to cancel. I was then charged $87.63 for a 14 day trial. I called to complain, tell them I had not used the product, would return it, did not want it, and was told it would not be refunded. Today I was charged another $87.63. I called again and was told that would be refunded. My complaint is the sneaky way they do business, that the need to cancel is not apparent and it information is not in the package they sent.Desired Settlement: A refund of $87.63
