Mister Quik contacted Mr [redacted] immediately upon receipt of this complaintOur Service Manager, Jon ***, spoke with Mr [redacted] and found that the essence of the complaint is that we don't give prices over the phoneOur policy is to charge a Service Fee of $69.00, assess the problem and give the customer a firm priceMister [redacted] was unhappy with the price he received from our Plumber and declined to have the work completedAlthough Mr [redacted] declined the refund of $when offered we have sent a refund check to him for the Service Charge he paid

Mr Quik at Lafayette Rd in Indiana is a rip offWe were charged $for dielectric union to be replaced on our water heater, later we were told by our friend who is a plumber They can be purchased for $retailMr Quik pays only $for it wholesaleWe were charged the $travel fee that we were told on the phone would be discounted on their "special"The plumbers hourly charge was $So we paid $in total for a dollar part hour labor and the dollar estimate/travel fee they claimed would be removedif they did the workAt most it should have been $to $only

When a service call was requested on November 22, it was explained by the customer that he believed he had an issue with the motherboard on the furnace that had been purchased off of AmazonOur representative explained that the service fee to send our licensed technician out to the home would be $ At the time of the appointment, our technician presented an upfront price that was approved and signed off on that would allow him to properly troubleshoot the systemIt was confirmed that the customer had a failed motherboard as well as a bad gas valveThe price quoted to properly repair the system was declinedAs a company, we must have one of our trained professionals perform a full diagnostic to properly identify an issue or problemWe do this to insure we can stand behind our recommendations and be precise and confident in our workHad we not performed this diagnostic, the additional needed repair would not have been identifiedPrior to this appointment, we had not been to this customer’s home since February 11, At this electrical service appointment, a small wire repair was madeOur records show no prior HVAC appointments, nor have we collected $to do a prior diagnostic on the furnaceThe amount collected at the time of service on 11/22/was $($service fee + $diagnostic fee) This was the first payment collected since the electrical appointment two years prior Mister Quik is be happy to credit the amount already paid ($213) towards the repair work that was quotedIf this is not something that you would like to proceed with, we are willing to refund you the $diagnostic charge that was applied to your account to address your concerns

We have spoken to the customer and all we asked was that he show us record of where he paidHe refused...We have no record of him payingIf we made a mistake we will drop it, we just dont have record of it

Had an emergency and needed help that morning,called MRQuik because ad in phone book said on time or service call freeHe was a 1/hour late in the hour window that they gave meWhen I pointed it out to him , oh, we don't go by that adI was in a bind, late for work, no one at home to wait for himWhen he got done my leaking facuet costs me 1,new kitchen facuet, installed already purchase bathroom faceut and replaced handles for the cut off under sinks.plus spent time trying to get me to spend on some club for a discountIf I had to do over, I would have not went to work, told him to hit the roadAnd my check which I handed him was returned to me that it was altered and bank wouldn't cash itSomeone at there end had pencil completely through my account number on the checkgot letter if I didnt' make good in days it would be extra Complained to billing, she said not her department, and she couldn't do anything about free service call if late in their adI normally wouldn;t have had that much money, but it was my Christmas bonusYea, Merry Christmas

I hired Mister Quik to fix leaks in two of my showers on April 5, I had already done my research, so I knew that the cartridges in the shower faucet would need to be replacedI has already done my research so I knew that the cost for the 1222b Moen cartridges cost $each at *** and the special cartridge pull tool needed cost $at ***
When the plumbers arrived after their 3pm-5pm time slot, though I will say that I received a call at 4:30pm, stating that the plumbers would be late due to an emergency call However, when I left my house around 4:35pm to walk my dog the Mister Quik truck was parked three houses down from mine and the driver was on his cell phone Finally they called me after to tell me that they were at my house
Both plumbers entered my home and I showed them the shower leaks, one bathroom they did not even walk into, but in neither bathroom did they touch my showerI explained to them about the leaks and that I had done my research and that I thought it was the cartridges One of the plumbers agreed, please keep in mind, they never even touched the faucets and then told me the cost per faucet would be $435, plus $for the service callThe total cost was going to be $
Mister Quik is inflating their prices and it is the consumers that are being hurt by their actions I did not pay for them to do the workI did pay the service call charge, but will be asking for a refund for the $ I would advise everyone not to call Mister Quik
I called another plumber after Mister Quik left my house and was quoted for the cost of the work to be around $

We had a gas leak in our crawl space and we needed it repaired asap After trying to get help from other plumbers, I called MrQuick The service guy, Ronnie, was at our house within hour He was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly he was able to assess the problem, clearly explain it, and was able to get me the best deal on the work He came out the next morning to make all repairs and was done quickly What started as a frustrated and potentially dangerous issue was something we had corrected with confidence and ease

We will refund Mr*** the $he paid towards the toilet repair

On Wednesday November 23, the blower motor in our York furnace quit workingIt was the day before thanksgiving and hard to find a repair serviceMister Quik answered their phone and we made an appointment for later that afternoon
The serviceman arrived and determined that the variable speed motor was not functioning and we needed a replacement
The technician went to his van to make calls to locate a motorAfter minutes he came back inside and told us this has to be an OEM part and the only motor available was in Louisville, KYAt a cost of $3,
I said no way! And the technician explained it was a variable speed motor and that was the cost
We paid the service call and he left
We called other technicians from a neighboring town and that technician called back with a cost of $1,From the same supplier that mister Quik said was $3,
Mister Quik inflates their prices to the extremeWould not recommend them for any service
