Mister [redacted] has been contacted and service is set for Thursday, July 17. The problem was the excessive time that it took for us to procure a replacement part from a supplier. Mr. [redacted] is satisfied with the actions we are taking.

I have contacted this customer and advised them we will send out a refund of $70.00 for the service fee they paid.

We have spoken to the customer and all we asked was that he show us record of where he paid. He refused...We have no record of him paying. If we made a mistake we will drop it, we just dont have record of it

It was determined by our plumber that [redacted] had frozen pipes, which was the dictating factor on why he had no hot water coming from his water heater. We at Mr Quik Home Services do not charge by the hour, but by the job to guarantee we are up front about our pricing. Our technician listened...

for running water inside the wall to insure the customer did not have a frozen pipe that might have burst. As [redacted] provided in his statement, our technician then gave options to move forward that evening, and also gave the option to wait until the outside temperature returned above freezing for the problem to correct itself. We genuinely want our customers to find value in a proper diagnosis, and are happy to refund the service fee in this circumstance since we failed to represent that value.

We do not sell extra warranties, we just provide a complimentary camera inspection to be able to tell what caused the problem since drains are under ground. Customer declined the camera inspection, therefore we could not warranty it. She called in and was very verbally abusive when we explained this...

Mr Quik at 4355 Lafayette Rd in Indiana is a rip off. We were charged $200 for dielectric union to be replaced on our water heater, later we were told by our friend who is a plumber They can be purchased for $20 retail. Mr Quik pays only $10 for it wholesale. We were charged the $70 travel fee that we were told on the phone would be discounted on their "special". The plumbers hourly charge was $20. So we paid $290 in total for a 20 dollar part 1 hour labor 20 and the 70 dollar estimate/travel fee they claimed would be removedif they did the work. At most it should have been $40 to $100 only.

When a service call was requested on November 22, 2016 it was explained by the customer that he believed he had an issue with the motherboard on the furnace that had been purchased off of Amazon. Our representative explained that the service...

fee to send our licensed technician out to the home would be $69.  At the time of the appointment, our technician presented an upfront price that was approved and signed off on that would allow him to properly troubleshoot the system. It was confirmed that the customer had a failed motherboard as well as a bad gas valve. The price quoted to properly repair the system was declined. As a company, we must have one of our trained professionals perform a full diagnostic to properly identify an issue or problem. We do this to insure we can stand behind our recommendations and be precise and confident in our work. Had we not performed this diagnostic, the additional needed repair would not have been identified. Prior to this appointment, we had not been to this customer’s home since February 11, 2015. At this electrical service appointment, a small wire repair was made. Our records show no prior HVAC appointments, nor have we collected $190 to do a prior diagnostic on the furnace. The amount collected at the time of service on 11/22/2016 was $213 ($69 service fee + $144 diagnostic fee).  This was the first payment collected since the electrical appointment two years prior.  Mister Quik is be happy to credit the amount already paid ($213) towards the repair work that was quoted. If this is not something that you would like to proceed with, we are willing to refund you the $114 diagnostic charge that was applied to your account to address your concerns.

Had an emergency and needed help that morning,called MR. Quik because ad in phone book said on time or service call free. He was a 1/2 hour late in the 2 hour window that they gave me. When I pointed it out to him , oh, we don't go by that ad. I was in a bind, late for work, no one at home to wait for him. When he got done my leaking facuet costs me 1,284.00. new kitchen facuet, installed already purchase bathroom faceut and replaced 4 handles for the cut off under sinks.plus spent time trying to get me to spend 250.00 on some club for a discount. If I had to do over, I would have not went to work, told him to hit the road. And my check which I handed him was returned to me that it was altered and bank wouldn't cash it. Someone at there end had pencil completely through my account number on the check. got letter if I didnt' make good in 30 days it would be extra 200.00. Complained to billing, she said not her department, and she couldn't do anything about free service call if late in their ad. I normally wouldn;t have had that much money, but it was my Christmas bonus. Yea, Merry Christmas.

describes our free estimate policy. This reads:
“Mister Quik is now scheduling free, no obligation in-home estimates via the internet for replacement of heating and air conditioning systems, water heaters and plumbing remodel & electrical projects. Please complete the form below to receive a quick response. Thank you for choosing us. We appreciate your business.”
When we were contacted on 09/15/16 by Mr. [redacted], he explained that he was in need of an estimate to replace one outlet in his home. This estimate request is not considered an electrical project, therefore a service fee was applicable. He was not satisfied with the explanation of our service, which is why we offered to waive the $69 service fee with any repair to help eliminate his frustrations. He declined.
We are happy to extend our offer of waiving the $69 service fee with any repair if he would like to schedule his estimate.

But one final note is that I never refused a refund as it was never offered. And I was unhappy with how they do the pricing. They tell you nothing and then charge a standard fee regardless of the work which in my case was a very small job and completed in 15 minutes. I felt it was wrong to come out charge the $69 knowing I would not accept the fee of $711 for a fifteen minute job. The story was not told correctly by them. But just want to put this unpleasant experience behind me.

Mister Quik stands by their recommendation to replace the motor in this sixteen year old unit. Our readings showed that there was a very high amp draw which means the motor has a high likelihood of failing in the near future. If...

Ms. [redacted] chooses to wait until it fails that is her choice. Our job is to point out the current operating condition of her system and make professional recommendations. It appears to us that Ms. [redacted] was only interested in the least expensive method of keeping her system running rather than maintaining her system to the highest standards. We will be happy to refund Ms. [redacted] the $69.00 service fee which she agreed to pay for our trip to her home and the diagnosis we provided.
