Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: MLK Auto refuses to address the actual reason for my not buying the car, namely the documented odometer fraud I take issue with MLK for making statements about what had transpiredIn particular, I take great exception for the crude attempt with his spurious accusation about racist commentsThis is only meant to cloud the issue at hand which MLK fails to addressThe only personal interaction I had had with [redacted] was when I discovered we both were members of the same religionHe even tried to create more of a religious affinity with me by telling me he teaches religious classes at his ChurchI must say, this tactic worked, because I initially felt more comfortable dealing with him I do not know whether MLK is directly or indirectly involved with tampering with the car odometer, but as the dealer he is certainly responsibleI have furnished documents to prove this fraud I gave MLK Auto a $deposit in good faith contingent on MLK's good faith I demand a refund or I will go to any length to persue fraud chargesI brought my kids down to his lot to test drive and buy the car on the day in question, at 5:pm approxEarly that morning [redacted] and I negotiated a deal for the car contingent on his replacing the windshield and washing/detailing the car When I arrived at 5:00: 1- I realized that MLK auto did not replace windshield(MLK indicated it would be done by 2:00-3:that same afternoon) 2-The car was still not clean( [redacted] somehow tried to excuse this by claiming he had a new employee washing the cars) I brought the above two points to George's attention and he attempted to pressure me to buy the car I told him I would pay him only when he had fullfilled his part of deal(fixing windshield and properly cleaning car)I grew suspicious of MLK Auto's methods and told them I would be back the next day to buy when they had fullfilled their obligationsThe next day, because of my suspicions, I Checked with Auto Check(see documents) service and discovered that MLK was perpetrating a vehicle fraud with phony mileage readingsI called MLK and told of of my findings [redacted] went into a tirade, but never even discussed the odomoter issueHe tried to place blame on me with spurious insinuations I told him I could not proceed under the circumstances and expected my deposit back In addition, I am requesting $for the Auto Check fee and $for gas I had to put into his car during my test driveMy total request is $ Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I for one didnt test drive the vehicleHe let me turn it on and look at the vehicle inside and out and he also let me and my sister and her friend look at the motorHe then drove it up for me when I completed the paper work and he quickly checked the oil and placed an inspection sticker on itWhen I completed the buy and left to gas up, I called him because the oil pressure light was on and he said it would go awayHe stated he was a mechanic so I found no need to take to a mechanic considering im not from [redacted] ( [redacted] , **) I just dont find it fair that he sold me a vehicle that the motor went out withing 45-mins from buying itI still have the motor as proof it went out due to running it without oil Regards, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: They have mislead and miss represented the fact of the saleI have a receipt dated Jan in which I purchased the carUpon the transaction taking place I was told I could not take the car until the title came back in my name in about ten daysI then took back $and told them they can have it when I get the car. The shady car dealer 'delivered' the car to my home on a trailer on Jan 26th 2015, my neighbors witnessed the deliveryThis car was a lemon, with major electrical proble** nor do I know what happen during the eleven days while waiting on the title. George not only lied in his response about not allowing me the car until the title came back in my name but also it see** to appear he think can take advantage and get away with itHad his response in this matter would have been one of 'honesty' and 'compromise' this matter could have been resolved here and no further waste of timeI am not one who can afford to give away $2700 nor will I allow myself to be taken advantage ofI am hoping for a resolution and an end to this matter

When you go to do inspection on any car, the inspection will cover the light, make sure the light will be red when you hit the brake, mirror, Windshield, horn, gas cap, turn signal,... and it doesn't cover on how the engine or transmission function. At the time of the inspection on the 99 Mazda 626 everything was functioning fine.
Any customer walks into our lot has the opportunity to inspect and test the car before buying it. Also, all of our vehicles are sold "AS IS". We don't provide/give any warranty on any car we sell, and we make sure our costumer(s) know and understand that all the sales are final. All this information is told to any of our customers when they inquire about any of our vehicles. Mr. George and his wife made the purchase of my sons truck an easy one. They were kind, honest and curtious throughout our experience. We bought the truck on Saturday (8/6) and had our license plates today, Monday (8/8). Mr. George encouraged us to bring a mechanic to inspect the truck, which we did and found all disclosures to be correct. I'm glad I followed my instincts and gave them the benefit of the doubt, contrary what the previous reviews had to say about this business. I am rejecting this response because: I for one didnt test drive the vehicle. He let me turn it on and look at the vehicle inside and out and he also let me and my sister and her friend look at the motor. He then drove it up for me when I completed the paper work and he quickly checked the oil and placed an inspection sticker on it. When I completed the buy and left to gas up, I called him because the oil pressure light was on and he said it would go away. He stated he was a mechanic so I found no need to take to a mechanic considering im not from [redacted], **) I just dont find it fair that he sold me a vehicle that the motor went out withing 45-50 mins from buying it. I still have the motor as proof it went out due to running it without oil.

I ATTACHED ALSO THE BILL OF SALE ALONG WITH A COPY OF THE 130-U SHOWING THE SALE PRICE 0 F THE CAR. THE VTR 500 SHOWS THAT THE CAR WAS ASSIGNED AND BEEN TRANSF RRED TO THE CUSTOMER'S NAME THE SAME DAY (ALSO IT MEANS THAT HE GOT THE METTA PLATES & WINSHIELD STICKER THAT DAY). THE CUSTOMER DROVE WITH HIS CAR OFF THE LO THE DAY WE TRANSFER THE TITLE & HE WAS TOLD THAT HE IS GOING TO RECEIVE THE TITLE W THIN 10 BUSINESS DAY TO THE ADDRESS HE PROVIDED US AND I HAVE NO CLUE WHY HE IS CLAIMING THAT HE DIDN'T GET THE CAR THE DAY WE SIGNED & TRANSFER THE PAPER WORK OVER TO HIS NAME. I JUST WANT TO MENSION THAT MERCEDES ARE CONSIDERED LUXURY CARS AND NOT ALL MECHANICS CAN WORK ON THESE TYPE OF CARS AND ALSO WE DON'T KNOW IF HE TOOK GOOD CARE OF HIS CAR SINCE HE BOUGHT IT ON JANUARY 26, 2015.
