They got our money and lied to us about the license.  They told us they would take care of the registration and we would get the new one in the mail so all we would have to do is put the plates on the new car.  Now they are going back on their word and saying they never told us that.  They are liars and a poor business establishment.  We still want our $395 back.

reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I spoke with other dealers and the $395 is the processing fee for the people to go to the [redacted] and do the paperwork for you.  They also stated they would go to [redacted] and do all the paperwork for the registration and we would get it in the mail and just be able to put our old plates on the vehicle.  Since they did not do this, we would like to have the $395 back since we in turn had to go to [redacted] ourselves.
Regards,
[redacted]

Revdex.com spoke with [redacted] for the business and he stated that the $395 is a processing fee that does not include tax and tags. The company would need the tax and tags money in order to register the vehicle.

Revdex.com spoke with [redacted] from the business and he stated that the processing fee doesn't have tie in with the payment for tax and tags. The processing fee is a fee for the business doing paperwork for getting the car purchased by the consumer. When a  consumer submits payment for the tax and tags, the company then sends that payment to [redacted] free of charge.

Seemed like a good car. When you sat and made a deal with them, they didn't follow up on their verbal agreement. People ought to know not to buy from foreigners that can hardly speak English!!

When I contacted the dealership about the transfercase motor that had failed I was informed that they would fix the problem; however, that is all they did, agree.  I have been pressing to get the required part since tge day after I bought the vehicle.  I can provide the reciept for the battery, strut mount and front shocks without hesitation and appreciate their offer to reimburse me; yet, I see no mention of the transfer case motor promised to me since the beginning.   All documentation notating the motors failure was faxed to the dealership from [redacted] in [redacted], NC.  I refuse to close this complaint until I recieve reimbursement for purchased parts aswell as the transfercase motor I have pressed so hard to recieve.  I, at this point, cannot just take their word.
Regards,
[redacted]

I spoke with the company and the gentleman stated that the car was purchased "As is." They are willing to refund the consumer $647.00 for the battery, but they would need to see the receipts for the amount. Once they receive the receipts, they will refund the consumer.

Review: This car was sold to me on January 28, 2014 by a person who claimed to own this business. Her name is [redacted]. I do not live near the dealership so the car was delivered to me by Ms. [redacted] who is a distant relative of mine and so I trusted that she was working in my interest. She dropped the car off in my driveway and left me with temporary tags on the car. I did not look at or drive the car at that time as I was with a patient in my home office and was unable to leave my patient. Ms. [redacted] walked in to my office and left a file of papers for the car. It took months for me to get permanent tags for this car despite the fact that I paid a fee of $48.50 to M&M for license/registration and processing. At one point, Ms. [redacted] claimed that she mailed me plates and they must've been "lost in the mail". On March 20, 2014, I went to the VA DMV to try to get the plates on my own. I was denied plates by the DMV because the title was still in the name of a woman in Maryland Named [redacted]. This proved that Ms. [redacted] had not mailed plates because she did not have a title to the car. I called Ms. [redacted] again and was told that I would be given dealer plates for one week. These were issued on April 9 and expired on the 16th. My signature was forged on the VADMV Permit to Use Dealer's License Plates. Ms. [redacted] then came to my house in the middle of the night and physically took the plates from the car. In the meantime, while all of the issues with the plates were going on, I had the opportunity to inspect the car and learned that there were a number of issues with the car, the most concerning being frame damage due to a rear-end collision which was not on the carfax report. Additionally there are leaks in the car, many parts were spray painted black and this paint has been coming off of the parts. This car is mechanically unsafe. Ms. [redacted] also charged me double for an extended warranty for the car which is worthless. I asked Ms. [redacted] to take the car back and she gave me excuses and ignored my phone calls. Ms. [redacted] took a blank bank check from me and filled it in for an amount larger than what I agreed to pay for the car. When I attempted to work out the issues with her and asked her to take the car back, she claimed that she needed to "talk to her attorneys", or that she was sick, or that someone in her family was sick. She put me off for months and then turned very angry and actually threatened me on a number of occasions. I attempted to trade the car in when I finally accepted the fact that Ms. [redacted] had stolen my money and ripped me off and had no intention of making things right. I was offered $7000 by [redacted]. I owe more than $18000 for this car and have paid over $3000 in payments to my lender. I have since conducted research into M&M Auto, which Ms. [redacted] claimed to own, and have discovered that there are at least 20 complaints similar to mine against M&M Auto. I've also discovered that Ms. [redacted] is not listed as an owner of the business. I am now left with a car that is unsafe to drive and nowhere near the value I paid for it due to the criminal and unethical actions of Ms. [redacted] and M&M Auto.Desired Settlement: I want M&M to take this car back and give me a refund. I am willing to accept a fair reduction for depreciation, but I cannot keep this car given the mechanical issues and the fact that there are damages to the car that render it unsellable by me. I cannot get a loan for a new car given that I owe $20,000 on this car and it is only worth $7000. The sales practices of this group are fraudulent and manipulative as evidenced in numerous additional complaints against them in addition to my own.

Just walk away from these guys. Dishonest. They sell aftermarket crap that they gussy up just to get out the door. You're buying a lemon. Muhammed and Muhammed. I ate 4K on a car that drove fine at the dealership. One year later I'm dumping this nightmare.

Review: I went to M and M auto in [redacted] va on Saturday September 7th and put a deposit down on a car and I took the car home and I noticed that the car had a shake to it so I thought it was just the air was low in the tires so I put air in it and that didn't fix the problem then went home and noticed a big puddle on the ground underneath my car so I stuck my finger in the puddle and it was antifreeze so I popped my hood of the car and I traced the leak I noticed a big crack in the radiator so I gave m and m auto group a call and gave them a description of what was wrong so they told me to bring the car in Saturday. September 14. which I did and I got there and talked to there mechanic and he told me that they already knew. that the radiator had. a crack in it and the shake I had in my tires was. the ball joints were messed up he sa.id he also already knew that too so now I have in my head that there's more wrong with this car that there not telling me and if I'm paying money for it they shouof told me the problems with the car from the beginningDesired Settlement: All I want is the company to take there car back and refund my 600.00 down payment and for them to get things straight with the bank that. financed for me

Business

Response:

Spoke to [redacted] from the business about this car. The business offered to repair the radiator and put in a brand new radiator. In the process the customer was offered a loaner car so that he was not left without a working vehicle. This was declined and in the end the car was refunded all but the processing fee and to the business’s knowledge the customer left satisfied with a “thank you have a nice day”

Review: I purchase [redacted] when I brought by car cost $650.00. I paid my car off with the original bank I finance my car through [redacted] and is due a refund of $577.00 through the [redacted] Products-[redacted]. I have called the dealer since January 23,2014 in requesting a refund. [redacted] sent the dealership a written discloser of the amount of funds I am to be refunded. [redacted] continue to state he never received the check from [redacted]. I went to the dealership on February 28, 2014 and spoke with [redacted] and called [redacted] while I was in his office. [redacted] told [redacted] that he was to refund me $577.00 and that the funds would come from the dealer due to the contract agreement that the dealer had with [redacted]. After the phone call ended. [redacted] stated he was only going to give me $300 and he is not giving me $577 because that is what the deal he made with lending company.. I am not understanding what that meant because my loan included $650 added to the cost of the Truck and I am due a refund. After several course words [redacted] stated he would give me $350 and that is all take it or leave it. I did not take it that is not what I am owed. I have ask [redacted] to call and correct this issue and a non compliance dealership in refunding me my correct amount $577.00 I have email document from [redacted] stating that I am due a refund of $577.00Desired Settlement: I am asking for help in getting the total amount of refund I am due it has been 7 weeks since my request for the refund.

Review: I purchased a vehicle on 04/06/2013. To date, the dealership has not produced a title. We have called multiple times and now that they know our phone number, they just hang up on us. Even if they do accidentally answer, when they find out who I am they hang up. I paid $8,395 on the spot for this car and I cannot drive the car because I cannot register the car.Desired Settlement: I want the title to the car or return the car for a full refund so I can go somewhere else to purchase a car.

Business

Response:

[redacted] from the company called in about a complaint. He said their is a delay with producing the title to the customer because when the company received the vehicle at auction the VIN number was wrong. He believes is should take about 2 weeks to produce the title but he is not sure since [redacted] has to fix it. He has given the customer dealer tags in the meantime to drive around with until this issue is fixed. Once the [redacted] goes through their process they will give the title to the customer.

I will never do business with these clowns again nor will I ever recommend them to anyone. I brought a 2004 in 2013 they told me it was never in a accident no problems at all! Fast forward a year and half later found out they change me and extra 1000.00 and the truck was in a accident! Wish I could get the 7000 back that I put down. I'm paying 3 times interest only owe 5000. More at end 23,000 truck!!! Worst place every should be shut down!!!

Review: The Dealership sold a [redacted] car with 79,XXX Miles for $15,450al of about (Total of about $18000.00 after all taxes and expenses) that had so much sludge(I have Pictures to show) in the engine and these costed me about $10,000 to overhaul the engine ,4 Bad tires which they claimed to be good, Engine full of After-Market Parts( As Result of their Local mechanic fixing the car internally and not buying the Manufacturer recommended parts and doing the right services). A dealership should be able to verify and make sure that a car is good up to some standard before selling to a customer.I am so disappointed and dissatisfied because a car I bought for that amount of money did not serve me for 3 weeks before it broke down and I had to spend money to fix it and then I was paying so much on car rental before they repair shop could find out what was wrong with it.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of at least $3500 to cover my cost of fixing a defective car that they sold to me.

Regards,

Review: Prior to my purchase of the vehicle I was informed by the sales representative that any component failure that may occur on the vehicle within 30 days of purchase is the responsibility of the dealership to repair. The battery died on the lot and yet the dealership brushed it off. I managed to get the vehicle back home to North Carolina and the next morning I bought a battery. The dealership was informed and they promised my reimbursement, to which never happened. That afternoon the "4wd Service" message illuminated on the gauge cluster and I quickly drove to the [redacted] dealership. I informed them that I had a powertrain warranty, problem is that the component that failed was no covered by that warranty. I informed the dealership's manager and, per his request, faxed all the documentation of the [redacted] technician's findings. I was informed that the required part, to which if critical to the proper function of my vehicle's drivetrain, would be replaced by them. I continued to talk to the manager for about a week, until my calls started to be screened. I managed to get in touch with another representative and began sending him text messages including the part number and an alternative means of finding the part cheaper than what [redacted] wanted. I continued talking with him for about a week and a half and then my calls started to get screened. I have not been able to get in contact with them and now it is outside the 30 day mark, I had a feeling that I was going to be strung along. I had replaced the front shocks and shock mounts as they were bad, my intent was to replace them on my dime; however, now that I have been ignored I intend to recoup all money spent on repairs that fell into the 30 day time period. I can provide all necessary documentation upon request. I hope that this matter can come to a resolve as I have already completed the required paperwork to file a motion for small claims court in Fredericksburg, VA.Desired Settlement: As promised by the dealership, I would greatly appreciate the necessary part for my vehicle to be sent to residence so that I may have it installed. The part number and the website to find it for purchase has been sent via text-message to one of the representatives, the manager has also be informed. I would also appreciate the reimbursement of funds spent on the battery, the shock mounts and the shocks.
