Review: I purchased an order online from the website moddeals.com and when I received the items I was informed that I had 365 days to return them and I would receive a refund. Some items did not fit so I sent them back and my tracking number said that they were delivered Friday morning, 11/06. I emailed customer service that following Monday because besides my tracking number, they never emailed or contacted me to confirm that they received my return and to tell me that I would receive my refund. They guarantee to return emails within 24 hours. I have now contacted them twice and waited well over 24 hours both times and have not gotten a response. I have only asked for a confirmation that they have received my returned package and when I will get my refund for the returned items. I have not received a refund and they have not responded in any way.Desired Settlement: I would like a confirmation that my items were returned and I want a full refund for the returned items.

It looks like the customer's issue was taken care of in the stated amount of time. Customer states that moddeals.com received customer's returned items on 11/9/2015. We processed the returned merchandise the following business day as stated in our guarantees. As you can see in the screenshot attached, $19.18 was refunded back to the customer's credit card on the night of the 10th 11/11/2015 at 1:00:43AM. Our system automatically sends email confirmations to notify the customer that we have processed their return. It looks like the customer's confirmation email may have been sent to her spam folder. Please inform the customer that "some banks take up to 30 days to make the funds available."

Review: I initiated a return with this company at the beginning of November and received my items back stating that they had been worn so they would not be refunding me my money. They had also removed every tag from each piece of clothing, further voiding my ability to return the items again! I called the company and explained that the items had not been worn, still had tags but had been shipped back with my from a work trip, in my luggage. I advised the representative that I also never one of my items and she confirmed that it had been in the warehouse and that it was noted to have stains on it. This item was never returned but I was then told in an email that they never received; which is contrary to my conversation with the first representative. I emailed ModDeals Corporate, as I did not feel that this was fair, seeing as I had not returned worn or stained items and had photos to prove it! A week after my email, I received an email back stating that they were sorry, I had returned worn items and was offered a return of my shipping expenses only. Corporate never mentioned my complaint about the missing item, so, I initiated another email stating my frustration and was advised that they would not be helping me with the items, that they did not have the cardigan and that they would still offer me the shipping refund. So on 12/3/14. I called and spoke with [redacted], Returns Manager, who argued with me on the phone that they didn't receive the cardigan and that they were not going to honor the refund of the shipping back to them now because I was causing problems by emailing and calling. I advised her that I had her written confirmation of the credit and she said she didn't care and that she was not going to help me further. Then she stated that they had offered me a credit for the cardigan, which she emphatically stated that was never received and then told me she would not be honoring the $16.98 refund, which was in writing. These guys are crooks!Desired Settlement: I am requesting a full refund of my items as they were never worn and were returned to the business with all tags attached! If they will not budge, then I am requesting the $16.98 that was offered to me in writing refunded to me, as I should not have had to return these items back, as again, they were never worn.

I'd like to forward the email conversations between me and customer service to display the unprofessional attitudes, the proof of the refund offer and see if they can be forwarded to the owner, who I am sure, is not aware of the way his customers are being treated.

So I should have recieved the refund 9/24. I have recieved nothing, not even a confirmation that my refund is being processed.Desired Settlement: I would like my refund placed on my card I used for purchase for the total amount owed 50.05

Review: ModDeals.com is misrepresenting their products in their advertising and sales process. I purchased two (2) new dresses from their site, which arrived in plastic but appear to be used items. The tag was cut out of one of them, which they do have a disclaimer about, but of course it is not mentioned or visible during the purchase process, only after I realized this absurd, unfashionable and possibly illegal practice of tag cutting was I pointed to the "font size 8" disclaimer in a small corner of their website. The other dress has a visible rip in the backside of the dress, something they described in a response to my complaint and refund-requesting email as a "simple oversight." I am appalled with their advertising practices of misrepresentation and view this as a major problem, especially to the assumed consumers of their site who are already on a budget and do not have the time or expense to deal with returning faulty items, as although their prices are quite low (not surprised now that I have observed the quality of their merchandise), their return policy involves no refund on the original flat rate shipping of $5 as well as paying for the shipping on the return. I'm not aware of the site's AOV but I can basically assure that the costs involved in returning these faulty articles of apparel are not worth it to anyone, and I assume this is the merchandisers manipulative tactic to trap customers. I would love to know how many people return to buy from this site as well, considering their process is unjust and manipulative. I am requesting a full refund including the 2-way shipping costs incurred, as well as some policy revision forcing them to make their "tag-cutting" scheme more apparent to potential customers. As a researcher by nature, even I did not see this hidden policy and an extremely upset with the quality of their apparel and refund process.Desired Settlement: Complete refund including the sending and returning shipping costs charged and incurred after receiving faulty items. They have agreed to refund the purchase price of the items, but not the shipping costs, which represent nearly 50 percent of the total purchase price (a completely unjust and unrealistic expense for the assumed profile of customers who are using this site).

Hello [redacted],

I have reviewed your order and do apologize if you did receive items t hat where used. I assure

you that everything we sell is brand new and do not see or understand how you could have

received a used item. Again my most sincerest apology. As far as the label that is part of the

reason or prices are so low the vendors we purchase from require us to slash or cut the labels

so the department stores that buy the same goods at a higher priceknow why they are paying

normal prices and we are not. We also do this so a customer cant buy an item at our store for

$10.00 dollars and return for a higher department store price. It explains this on our label

disclaimer you can see this at http:U www.moddeals.com/ labeldisclaimer.htm While reviewing

your file I see that you where issued a full refund includding the initial shipping cost on

11/19/2013.

I apologize for any confusions with our policys .

Have A Great Day I
