I apologize you have an issue with your BendPak liftI will get with Fidel immediately to get an update on your issue and make sure we are resolving it right awayI will have Fidel follow up with you to make sure you are not having any more issues thank you

Good Morning,The part in question was shipped as promised on Thursday of last week via FEDEX on tracking # [redacted] It is scheduled for delivery to you tomorrow 12/20/2016Thank you,

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: I have not received the item offered to compensate me for the difficult I encounter after purchasing the product from this company and I have not received any form of tracking number to let me know such item as been mailedPlease keep this complaint open until such time as I do receive the item offered Regards, C [redacted]

I have read the complaint and researched this complaint on my end I am not perfectly clear on how you wired up our 110v power unit to your 220v voltage But I will get a whole new console pre-built at 220v and shipped out to you Sorry for any issue We will get this replacement order going asap Thank you,

After reviewing this claim further we see the that the service center we hired was not able to replicate the customers lift dropping unintentionally on its own. Without admitting any fault, we will swap out the lift as a goodwill gesture at no charge to the customer. We will be
onsite at the end users address mid next week to handle it. Thank you, G*** ***Customer Service ManagerBendPak / Ranger

I apologize for any issue you have had with your liftI will look into it right awayI will have someone contact you for assistance

Hello,We will waive any restock fees as a courtesy to you.Since no install fees were paid to BendPak, BendPak cannot reimburse any of those type of fees Since the installer you paid did not actually set this lift up in the 113" area and gave you incorrect information about whether it would fit or not, I would expect that you should present that to him to assist you with. We hope this satisfies your request.Thank you,

I worked with K*** on this situation, this was a fault with our distributor who sold the product and did not process and send BendPak an order for it until several weeks laterOnce BendPak received the order on 1/it was processed normally and shipped 1/within standard shipping time frames
for product of this sizeK*** was upset that the product had taken so long to get to him which caused issue with his installer hired to set up the productProduct was confirmed delivered on 2/to K***'s installer

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because: We only had the lift for two months and within the first two months the left front post lock broke, then the hydraulic motor went and then yesterday they replace the original plastic blocks with brass onesIf they were able to diagnose our problem with the plastic blocks being bad over the phone means that they have had this problem beforeI feel they knew the plastic lift blocks were crap front the beginning and finally replaced them with the brass ones after repeated complaintsAlso for a month we lost sales on wheel alignments and was short one bay limiting the amount of cars we could serviceWe want a one year extended warranty, if not we will voice our opinions about the bend pak company when asked and we will submit honest reviews on their web siteWe are a company that has been in business for years and I have never seen such poor customer service from any company.

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:I understand your incline to dismiss the installer that Bendpak selected *and* scheduled for my installation (Neither me nor the reseller had any input for hiring the installer)The same installer that was trained *and* certified by Bendpak for that very installationHowever let's make a few things clear:The installer did measure the lift at my location and confirmed the 110"1/width when I expressed surpise at the discrepancy between their documentation (116") and the sales material that was provided to me (110"1/4)You can certainly confirm this fact with themThey were just as confused as me and wanted confirmation from the factoryBendpak went on record and stated that the documentation contained a missprintHowever I suspect the documentation that the installer was provided was for version L (not version M) of the lift since that older version is in fact 116" wideRegardless a missprint/wrong documentation should not cost me or the installer $The installer INSISTED that the lift WOULD NOT physically fit inside 113" due to additional clearance required beyond the 110"1/Again this DIRECTLY CONTRADICT your statement that states the lift "would fit inside 113"You may confirm this with the installerThe UNDOCUMENTED, ADDITIONAL, CLEARANCE REQUIRED IS THE CRUX OF THIS COMPLAINT.You went on record in your previous communication to me and established that the additional clearance beyond the 110"1/is "not documented anywhere"You mentioned a figure betwwen 6-12" which again was never communicated to me or documented in any wayHow are your customers, installers supposed to know about this?Documentation responsibility falls SQUARELY on BendpakIf Bendpak is not able to provide accurate, consistant and COMPLETE documentation to their customers or installers then Bendpak cannot hold responsible either the customer or threir own CERTIFIED installers. In closing and just to be clear I am not requesting a refund, I am requesting the replacement and installation of the initially ordered lift with one that would fit (likely the HD9-ST)This request should be consistent with the "perfect-tender" rule of Article of the Uniform Commercial Code ratified in CaliforniaI would of course be responsible for the value difference between HD9-XW and HD9-ST if there was any

I apologize you are having any issuesI see the parts were shipped to fix the concerns you hadI will check with the onsite technician to see if there are any open repairs neededI do not show where smoke was reported to us, which is why the smaller part was diagnosed as the issueI will pass
on this new smoke information so we can get you a new power unit going right away

The HD-9XW that was shipped on this order has an overall width of the "A" dimension on the drawing posted on our website of 110.25" and WILL fit in to a 113" enclosure It is not recommended thoughWe recommend 6-12" on all sides from any wall113" that customer has will give you no room to
safely install or operate the lift We do NOT give any clearance dimensions on our website just for this reason You would not be able to look at our website and see exactly how big of an area is needed to install our lifts Why would you put a 110" lift in a 113" room ? You would not be able to get to the power unit, get out the way in case of any issues etc...We see no manufacturing error and we find no discrepancy between what the customer ordered (110.25" wide lift) and what we shipped (110.25" wide lift). As a courtesy to the end user, we will authorize the return and waive any restocking fees for this return Thank you,

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:0. The total clearance is 138" but alcoves and architecture makes it that the total straight clearance is 113"Again if tight clearances are a safety issue then they should be clearly statedNo such statement is present in any documentationThe installer clearly stated that the lift WOULD NOT fit in my spaceWhich contradicts your statementThe fact that the installer was also provided with inacurate documentation that led him to believe the lift would not fit is also problematicIt was only later confirmed by re-measuring the lift at the factory that he had incorrect floor sizing information for version L and not version MI have email documentation to prove thisHad the installer been provided with the correct documentation perhaps I would not be wasting my time or theirsWhy carefully publish precise clearance for height, ingress and egress in tight garages on the lift but nothing for side to side clearance? These lift are also clearly advertised to be installed in tight spaces for use by hobbyist not just professionals(see #4) If that is not the case then stop pretending otherwiseRefund installations fees as wellThe installer spent a fraction of the time on location anyway and should not be fully paid for a job that he did not even begin

BendPak is currently working with the end user in this instance to make permanent corrections to the lift. A temporary fix was implemented on 2/10 after a newly hired service center was hired to diagnose the problem. End user was happy with the fix and is working closely with us to finalize this...

situation. We are also working with Abbott to compensate for their time involved in this situation.
