El porque de mi queja referente a esta compañia Moonben que provee de cable y servicio de internet es q realmente no sirve para nada el servicion q presta de internet es ridiculo pues vivimos en estados unidos primer pais en el mundo para q ellos simplemente te ofrescan un solo servicio. Cuyo servicio simplemente son 6 megas de velocidad de internet y no sirve para nada siempre se esta cayendo cada segundo llamas a atencion al cliente y simplemente ellos no saben el porque o sino te disen q ellos van hacer una actualisacion en tres meses cosa q es mentira y desgrasiadamente el complejo donde vivo en conjunto con ellos no te dejan que canbies el provedor de internet ni cable estamos en un pais democrata q podemos tener y desir lo q deseamos simpre y cuando cumplamos las reglas sin hacer nada ilegal y creo q es injusto el q ellos presten tan mal servicio y para mas el complejo no te de la opcion de elegir q compañia deseas tener es injusto o aunque sea q esta compañia de moonben te de la opcion de pagar un poquito mas pero q brinden un servicio de calidad es elogico gente y estupido este problema con esta compañia de internet y no entiendo el porque los complejos de apartamento como el mio no te dejan poner la compañia de internet q uno desee es ilogico e injusto bueno espero q mejore esa situacion o sino ya me ire de este complejo por su mal servicio a los inquilinos sin mas

….. This resident is complaining about the policy of the leasing office they live in and how they are billed for their service. We provide the service to the site who then bills the resident. I don’t think it’s fair that we are punished for the policy of another business…

Cindy and Ken were both wonderful in helping me with my internet issue. Both people were very friendly and attentive. Cindy did call me to set up a time for a tech to come out. Ken was the tech that came to my home. He did not leave until he resolved the internet issue. My internet is now working faster than before.

All of the changes with the account were done after the initial complaint.

This statement is not correct in many ways. We do indeed provide a high-speed internet service to the property available to all residents. We are constantly making changes and updates to this system. We also do output  channels in HD including; The [redacted] Channel, [redacted], [redacted] and [redacted] and...

will be adding more channels this year in HD. Moonbeam does not block other providers from entering into the complex and Moonbeam has nothing to do the sites policy on resident satellite dishes or other providers. The amount of $180 that is being "Disputed" has no details and is not backed up by any specific detail relating to Ms. [redacted] service provided by Moonbeam.  We would love more information but cannot do anything with a complaint that is not specific and does not reflects facts

Very slow internet to the point where my cellphone is way faster. I called many times and complained about it and nothing was done. I am 100% sure that the problem is not my equipments, since I tested other brand new equipments. I have to do some work off home and many many times where my internet is completely down. It is acutally down now and I am writing this review via my Iphone using my data. If it is cloudy and rainy day then do not bother looking for internet. I am stuck with internet that does not work just because my apartments office does not allow other companies. I can not wait for my contract to be up.
TV channels are bad in every possible way and they are changing all the time. For example, channel 29 it used to be SCI channel and every no lw and then different channel will replace it for few weeks, and there are other examples. DO NOT buy HD TV if you have moonbeam. No HD channels and no TV guide. Bottom line is DO NOT get an apartment that only have moonbeam " if you can ".
Believe me it is not worth trying unless you have no oprions. I am waiting on my contract to be up and I am moving out just because the cable and service.
Their respons will be "internet could be slow due to many favtors " I know what the will say.

Moonbeam is the most horrible service on the face of the earth! The agents are clueless on why there is no internet service on a DAILY BASIS. They say they are upgrading or fixing it constantly. We are now being charged more for basically NO service. This is the only provider in my complex and it is unacceptable. When I ask for a refund on what is not being used they refuse and say they cannot do it. There has been times it was out for days!! No one answers the phone and when they do they are clueless and unprofessional. I am disgusted on how they are even able to be in business. Do not get Moonbeam ever! Never heard of them until I was forced to use them and now I know why. This is ridiculous.

We have made changes to the account and tried to do a follow up call. Another call is being placed today 3/20/15

I am rejecting this response because: The company did not follow through with the plan they had orchestrated to rectify the issues. I never received a follow up call from them and the three days following my initial conversation with them was filled with service inconsistencies and cost me work hours. Since the original call, the service has not changed in any way and I am actually having more issues with streaming media than I previously did. The service in the 3 days following the call were a little bit quicker than usual in regards to down/up rate but that is all.

* I would like to request this case to be re-opened so that I can respond to it.  This property does have a contract with Moonbeam Communications for cable and internet. We no longer use the company that we were using during the time of this complaint to answer our Internet line. All Moonbeam calls are answered in house from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm . We have recently upgraded our internet at the property from where this customer is speaking of.  Many elements factor in when internet speed is slowing down or not working.  It could be their equipment, virus on equipment, or a service tech might be needed  due to improper connection  of equipment. We regret that the resident is having difficulty connecting to the internet and we would be willing to send a technician out to service the complaint. We offer free tech visits if they are unable to connect or having connectivity issues.  If they still are having issues we would like to schedule a visit. They've raised the monthly fee for 'faster service', yet it is still slow and is always going out.
They're horrible.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. I have lived in my apartments and forced to use Moonbeam since September of 2014. EVERY month since I've had this service my internet goes in or out. It says I have full wifi signal but it BARELY works. I have constant issues streaming videos on my laptop and even on my [redacted]. In December they claimed they were upgrading their service and decided to charge us more money! Great! Well I did not see ANY improvement. MUCH Slower, MUCH more problems. My phone works better on my cell phone service! I can't even play a game on my [redacted]. And forget streaming [redacted] or anything else. This is the worst service ever and if I had the choice I would not use them ever or if at all. It is a WASTE of money.I've paid $150 so far towards this company for my internet and I wish I had it all back. And to charge us more money for an even slower service is absurd. I wouldn't renew my lease solely for this horrible service.

This company charges way to much for the little bit we get. $55 a month for 5 mgs of internet. [redacted]??? Not to mention if your internet goes out after 8pm then you wont have it until they open the next day. Over all this company is not good and you should avoid them

1) On 1/8/15 An engineer will be on site to permanently fix the issues affecting the account 
2) Once corrected, which should be with in the next 2 business days,  I will be issuing a 2 month credit on the internet service for Ms. [redacted]. 
3) We will continue to monitor the account and will return for another service call if needed. 
I believe this will satisfy Ms. [redacted] and correct the issues she has had. We will do our best to assure this does not happen in the future, and are very sorry for the problems it has caused her.

We have spoken with [redacted] since the complaint. Her main issues with channels going out was referring to a dispute between [redacted], our parent provider, and [redacted] pulled the programming for close to 1 month in October while the two companies worked...

out a contract renewal. During this time we did our best to replace the channels with similar programming however this dispute was out of our control. We were not refunded for the loss of programming and we're thus unable to pass any refund on to our customers. This issue was unfortunately completely out of our control and had nothing to do with the functionality of services that Moonbeam provides to our customers. We have set up a service call with Mrs. [redacted] and will be sending out a technician to make sure she is getting good signal strength and check for any real technical issues. We have also offered to see if we can carry any additional programming that she might want. She is going to get back to us and we will try and accommodate her. I believe strongly that we have done and will continue to do everything in power to provide the best service possible to Ms. [redacted]. I feel that we have been reasonable and that we will make her a happy customer once again.
