This company was referred by my moving broker to move me from Atlanta to Florida. I had a binding quote of 1800 ft. When the company came to my home they increased the cubic footage to 2800 feet, which resulted in an increase of $3500 for my move. There is no justification for this increase.
On behalf of Moonlion Movers, We move our customers with pride making sure that all items are pack and delivered on time and dates specified by customers. This moved was schedule for March 1. 2020. When the driver and crew arrive it was more items, packing and needed extra space. A rental was rented. All agreed to by customer. The customer had items that she wanted to be special crated that would need more material. time and crew members to assist. Crating and extra cubic feet fee was discussed with the customer, broker and moonlion movers all parties agreed. The rental was not charged to customer but the cubic feet at $2.50 was charge Per the broker.We have fulfilled our end of the agreement and wish our customer well moving forward.
Moving company damaged multiple items during move and have yet to address these issues.
I do apologize on behalf of Moonlion Movers, the last six months have been very hectic. Since we had not had any follow up from the consumer the situation had fallen off of our radar. I have looked over the damage report and paid $0.60 per pound, per item. The chair was 44.3lbs. Per the contract, option 2 of his addendum, the check for $26.58 will be sent out to you tomorrow. We paid them $4,600 and they gave us (which we did not receive it) a refund of $226. See attached photos for damages.

In total everything that was damaged came to $226 and this check was sent to you. If you had wanted full coverage on the items, you should have chosen that coverage option when setting up the contract.I do apologize that the items were damaged but we have fulfilled our end of the agreement and wish you well moving forward.

I am rejecting this response because:
You have not fulfilled your responsibilities, and there was no where in the contract that gave us different coverage options. When I called you old us that you were only offering 0.6 cents per pounds. This amount should not even applied considering that the damages were caused by pure negligence: too small of a truck, using incorrect material for packing, like all pictures I have attached prove. Your company is dishonest and unprofessional, you are a fraud. You gave us 226 $ when the damages amounted to bike 700, mirror 75, repair to the hutch 50, clock 45, bin 25, all our coats and suites we had to take to have pressed because they were so wrinkled becuase they were packed in the wrong boxes and the boxes collapse. You should not be allowed to move people any longer and I want for everyone to know what kind of Company you are and what kind of service you provide. In conclusion 226 is not even a fraction of what we had to spend to repair and replace.
