I emailed State Farm on August 22nd to see if I could cancel my policy which auto bills on 8/28/since I was switching my insurance policy to a more affordable policy State Farm is more expensive and when I was rear ended I had to chase all of the paper work and go back and forth with the other insurance company until it went to arbitration For paying an agent, I did all the heavy lifting State Farm confirmed that they could stop my payment on 8/so that I would not have a lapse in coverage with my new insurance I then had to verbally request it over the phone which I did promptly and it was confirmed again State farm charged my account today the full amount 8/30/ When I asked for my money back they said they would mail a paper check and it would take 7-days For a company I've patronized over years I find this unacceptable It only further drives home my reason to leave State Farm My new insurance company made a billing mistake and promptly transferred the
