I filed a claim (ID # *** for the loss and damage of my household goods with the third party company that Most Valuable Movers Inchired to determine the settlement amountPer the service agreement between that third party company and the carrier Most Valuable Movers Inc., the carrier must pay the settlement within days of receipt of the signed release form, which specifies a settlement of $owed to me for loss, damage, delay and/or overchargeThe signed release form was sent to Most Valuable Movers Incon 05/11/17; therefore, I should've received a payment check for the aforementioned settlement amount from Most Valuable Movers Incno later than 06/25/However, it's been almost four months after the deadline for receiving my settlement check from Most Valuable Movers Inc., but I haven't received such check from the carrier
I've contacted Most Valuable Movers Incby email various times and also numerous times by phone regarding this issue; when I've called the

I hired a broker, unbeknownst to me, and they hired Most Valuable Movers, to move my elderly, veteran parents belongings from *** to ***  MVM picked up their possessions on June 10, days later, still no delivery Dozens of calls, texts, emails and lies, but no belongings Apparently their possessions are still sitting in a warehouse in Linden, New Jersey A lot of excuses, and lies, but no hope of receiving their things

I schedule a move through this company from West Virginia to *** ***All items were present except for a TV worth over $The TV was present on the inventory list for both pickup and delivery but was not on the truck when the delivery came to *** When I called the office to report this no one answeredIt has been hours and I still have not heard from either the moving company or the scheduling companyI would not recommend this company to anyone and I hope that people in the future do not even consider using this company

They promised to be there on a certain date to move our furniture, etcThey were 2-days late and then came at pm and finished at like am Then, now, when they promised to deliver on Friday morning, They are now telling me it will be Monday This is going to leave us without furniture or beds for days!!! They have been the most unreliable moving company that I have EVER dealt with I do not want others believing their lies and going through what we have went through

I booked a move through *** *** *** *** for a partial load (>ton)They are a broker & set a move up from Syracuse NY area to *** **The movers got most of the items loaded & then said we owed almost $1,More on a binding quote (5/10/16)They would not take the agreed upon credit card so I got a cashiers checkThe movers arrived in Reno later in the day (5/17/16) & were abusive and bullying to my daughter & refused to take the cashiers check we were told was validIt was also $more than the amount MVM emailed me, from the amount the driver in Syracuse said was dueThe harassment included yelling at my daughter, calling her stupid & threatening to dump her stuff in storageShe called me & I called *** *** *** & MVM about the cashiers check made out to MVMFinally *** *** *** (broker) got through to MVM & told the driver to take the checkThey'd sneered though unloading that they were goi

Most Valuable Movers was hired to move our possessions by moving brokers Federal Relocation Services They charged us double our binding estimate, and demanded $dollar tip to cover salary not provided by Federal Relocation Services Most Valuable Movers also stole my wife's jewelryBeware!!

Most Valuable Movers was contracted as a third party moving company via *** *** *** to move my bedroom furniture, and three boxes I was told that the company would pick up my furniture from Toledo, OH between am-noon, Monday, January 30, and deliver to *** ** by Wednesday, February The movers showed up Tuesday, January after pmWhen the movers arrived they began to assess me over $in additional fees that the broker *** *** ***) communicated would be included in the fee such as wrapping furniture and stair accessI was able to negotiate the additional fees from over $to $as long as I paid the mover in cashThroughout the process the movers kept asking to use my personal bathroom, and taking personal phone callsThe movers did not finish packing my apartment until close to pmIn addition, the movers denoted that my furniture would not be delivered until 1-business days, by Thursday, February 9, instead of the day

Sadly we didn't choose these movers but a moving broker set us up with Most Valuable MoversThey started lying to us basically after our furniture hit their warehouseThey kept telling us that ALL of our worldly possessions that we're going to be moved from Buffalo to LA would arrive in ** in a "timely" fashionThey kept telling us our stuff had departed their warehouse in NJ and provided us with the driver's phone numberDays later, we get another call from MVM letting us know that there had been a driver changeLater we were able to piece together that our stuff had actually never left! Then came more lies about the stops to be made and then a truck that had allegedly broke down only to be told that it would be an additional week on top of the already weeks!! We STILL do not have our stuff and have been sleeping on an air mattress in our apartment! They NEVER return phone calls and only send an occasional text full of lies! They prey on women and youth to pull their scams! I

On 04/15, in OH, half way though packing the moving truck, I was told that I had to pay half of the fare now and the other half when they arrived to my destination in AZThe total was about $so I had to pay close to $for them to continue packingI told the driver that I wanted my household items shipped to a storage unit in AZ and that I would give him the specific address when I landed in AZ later on that dayI get an employee discount for storage through ***, but he insist to have my items shipped to their warehouse in NJ because the first month is free and only $each month afterAlso, I would get the benefit of the movers putting my furniture back into my home so I wouldn't have to do it myselfI agreed since the price was close to the price I was going to pay ***He told me that I had to pay cash or it would be an additional fee for using my debitI knew that my family and I would need time to find shelter, so I gave the driver $1,cash so that $can go

They have not yet paid for the damage from my moveWe moved from *** to *** in May There was significant damage to my furnitureI filed a claim with *** as was required in July The claim was approved in Feb Most Valuable Movers has still not paid me ($380.50)I cannot reach them by telephone as it appears their telephone is disconnectedThere is no other number onlineThe number that *** *** gives me also does not work*** *** said they are not responsible for the actual payment, just processing they claim

I moved from mito ** they picked up my stuff on april I was told it would take to days well I dont have my stuff yet its may now I did call about times they keep telling me it will arive next week each time

Not sure how to upload photos - please see the mice fecal/urine mess on my sculpture UGH (need to contact NJ health department but I am now in WA)
***
I experienced a building fire in NYC and upon leaving did research whereby I could salvage my large art sculptures and ONE *** Chair that due to a spinal condition was perfect(value and never heard from claims which would pay about bucks) The original contact person Angela was superb on all counts and I went with the company as it shipped by cubic space not weight (would be unable to ship them)When one of their drivers had an accident they were bought out by this huge company (from family run) I kept them in storage in NJ thinking I would eventually return but finally realized I would never be able to The storage in WA is about half the price and Angela worked as hard as she could to have them reduce my monthly rates but they would not In all I spent thousand for this company storage and shipping only to have my chair stolen (lived across Waldorf Astoria and saw this many time with other truckers) and sculpture with toxic mice urine and fecal material
The company which bought them out after a trucking accident (one person died) finally sent me an email when I asked for my goods to be shipped They charged me a balance and somehow their record keeping did not know I had paid in full and they actually owed me as the delivery was overdueMy complaint is re the company that bought out this small family run company
When "Serge" arrived I was dismayed by how people's goods were treated (I have lived in CA, Boston and overseas and know much about the issues with shipping) I saw one man (needed two mho) high up on a ladder trying to find my crates and having to toss other people's chairs, couches, desks et al from this height to the ground below I wish I had taken photos He needed someone below to pass the goods to It is no surprise to me that most people have broken goods upon delivery - he as well would not change his operations so that this would not occur I informed both my contact Angela (who by now had moved on) and the parent company Could care less
My much anticipated chair-with it's straight back was missing Of course! A dollar chair was per my contract supposed to be padded and wrapped by the company but was not (I had two months to undo my entire apartment and trusted they would honor the contract, otherwise I would have put an old blanket around it to hide it’s quality As well a low table was damaged (not padded either and broken beyond repair) I know full well it was stolen having)I had them search as I assumed there would be camera's in the open area storage-not individual units but there was NO security) Well I had to take Angela’s word that there was a search - someone knows where that chair is
I did all that was expected on my end of the contract - paying always on time They did not honor any aspect of the contract at all The insurance will be a hassle and not worth much, and being a one of a kind chair and rare in shape will never compensate me If I even get a response
But that is not what I now find disgusting about this company
I finally was able to start to un crate the last and largest sculpture I started to smell a disgusting fecal/urine smell
I wrapped all parts (made to be taken apart in some areas)with extra plastic yet I realized very fast that there was a mice/rat colony that had inhabited my sculpture for who knows how long! Not only highly dangerous urine + fecal droppings which is supposed to be cleaned up by professionals which I cannot afford (background in the health care fields) but there was a source of food in that facility as evidenced by the beans - pinto!
They had no pest control, the photos are evident of that and no security or concern about people’s goods! (I did not want to contaminate my camera so only the worst - need to get gloves and masks)
Nancy whom I just spoke (March 29, 2016) with-did not say"sorry" lets see what we can do for you (as any good company who valued their customer base would) not seemed to care at all that money is their only motivationI may need 1k to have it destroyed properly

I hired Most Valuable Movers for an interstate move, from NY to **Upon completing a damage claim, the company sent a moving damage assessor to my home to inspect our damaged itemsThe company the mover hired to evaluate the damage was *** *** ** *** According to this assessment, we are entitled to $to cover the damage to our household goodsThis report was sent to Most Valuable movers by *** *** in August of
The movers have made inaccurate claims regarding our Bill of LadingFirst, they say we waived full value protection (FVP) coverage on our goodsThere is no signature confirming thisPer federal DOT regulations, the missing signature defaults to FVP coverageI understand that under the federal DOT default of FVP coverage, I must pay for such coverage
Second, the mover is claiming that according to their carrier ***, FVP coverage costs $for each $of shipment valueWhen we were presented the Bill of lading to sign, we

We have booked the services of Most Valuable Movers INC for moving our Household goods from Northville , MI to *** *** and paid an advance of $ The Order *** and the goods were picked up from our home on 01-27-and the delivery date or spread is mentioned as to business days However, till date i.e02-16-the goods have not been delivered Staff of the Company are not giving proper information or date of delivery of the household goodsThey kept us in the dark about whereabouts of the goods all these days On 02-15-we were told goods will be delivered on 02-16-between to a.m But Today 02-16-the Truck Driver spoke to us in the morning and said he will come in the after-noon between to p.mThe truck has not arrived till p.mand our telephone to the Company and the truck driver went unansweredNo body is lifting the phoneI am scared now whether they have lost the goods or something else

My household goods were picked up from my daughter's apartment in July and placed in storage at Most Valuable Movers, (MVM) *** ** *** *** *** ** *** US DOT: *** ** *** The last six months I've had problems trying to contact personnel at MVM to confirm receipt of my credit card authorizations forms to cover monthly storage charges I noticed in Dec that my request to charge my credit card were not processed I've sent numerous emails requesting status and have called their office over times In Jan Angela in the billing department took my call, and I asked her to verify they had my correct email address and question why my credit card was not charged Angela told me to re-forward my credit card authorization form to their new email address *** I re-sent the form as requested and again noticed the billing office failed to charge my credit card for the monthly storage charges I spent hours on the phone trying to re

This company still has not delivered some of our propertyThey delivered our goods as part of a cross country move in September One item was missing, a piece of furniture, and it still has not been delivered after monthsIt has been located in their warehouse, but repeated calls have not helped to get it deliveredHalf the time I call there is no answerWhen I speak to someone, they always say it will be delivered in the next week or so, but that has been the promise since January

We hired long distance movers, who in part hired most valuable moversThey picked up all of our possessions on June They stated they would be delivered between four and days to *** where my wife had fallen and broken her hip and we are now moving into assisted livingIt is now June As far as they are telling us, all of our possessions are still sitting in New Jersey in a warehouse somewhereWe are getting no hope of delivery anytime soonThey continually lie to us every time we call So we have been on able to move into the assisted living that my wife requiresThis has made a health risk for usI am an 86-year-old veteran and my wife is years old with a broken hipThis company has done nothing but deceive us from the time they picked up my belongings we paid in full, and now feel we have no recourseThis is the worst company I've ever dealt with in my entire long life

Email that was sent by me on 8/25/12:39pmto *** *** *** with no responseMost Valuable Movers held no responsibility eitherI paid $for a Storage unit that sat vacant for a month as I rented on 8/assuming my things would arrive on 8/They arrived on 8/, crushed bins, & scratched furnitureBUYER BEWARE!!
Good afternoon,
Please know that I am not happy with this situation at allI just received the below email for payment before my things arrive
My items were picked up on 7/13/My estimate doubled from the original ($2K to $4K) I received an email asking when I would like my things which I stated 8/5/ I was just informed by Most Valuable Movers that the timeline is 20-AFTER the date I requestedThey said that YOU (*** *** ***) should have explained that to me and I should of put please deliver by 7/and then my belongings would of arrived on 8/I paid $on 8/ for a storage unit that is sitting vacant and another payment is due 9/I was told my things will arrive sometime this weekend
This is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable I spoke with a woman from your company (*** *** ***) saying she would speak to a Supervisor to see what could be done about this
Please advise ASAP

They are very careless company when our stuff arrived weeks later than expected things were damaged and missingHidden charges that were not addressed on original contract They are very crooked company and need to be shut down Please read the reviews on google We had brand new furniture and just about every piece was damage and also many of our boxes are bursting at the seams and smashedWe also have some things missing and when you contact them all they say it was on the truck Many people have had missing items and it seems very weird that everyone that uses this company is having nothing but problems

My question is why is this company still in business? My experience with Valuable Movers is horribleThe movers damaged the wall in my apartment while removing the furnitureI got estimates for the wall as they requested but they never reimburse me for the damage I was billed much more than the initial chargeAlmost every piece of furniture has some damage and all that they agreed to compensate me is $This was since Sept 14, After signing the Release Form in Dec I called the company at least times re the $I was told on 3/that the check will be mailed to meNow it is July 13, & I am still waitingA few days ago I spoke to a repwho told me she would check to find out why the delay in sending the check & she would call me backI never received a call backI will be filing a complaint about Most valuable Movers to all the regulatory
agencies in NJ
