My name is [redacted] I am the Finance Manager at Motor City Auto SalesI had spoken with Ms [redacted] yesterday about this situationMr [redacted] came in to purchase a vehicle on 8/31/Mr [redacted] needed a cosign and Ms [redacted] agreed to help him out They said ok and went ahead with the paperworkMs [redacted] signed all the paper work as the primary and Mr [redacted] signed as the cosignerWe had spoken on the phone about Ms [redacted] being first on the loan to get them a better rate with the bankIf you cosign on a deal whether you are the primary or not you equally own the carI told Ms [redacted] all they had to do is call the bank and get the address switched so the bill will go to Mr [redacted] 's addressMr [redacted] has the title and the deal is funded with the bankI thought everything was fine until we received this complaintPlease let me know if you have any questionsYou can call me at any time at [redacted]

Ms [redacted] has received both her title and current inspections for her vehicle.(See attached copy of signed title and current inspection) We did address both of Ms [redacted] concerns with the vehicleWe repaired the door and also replaced the air and cabin filter on the vehicle, which the vehicle didn't really needIt was "recommended" maintenance per [redacted] We did this out of good faith and did it out of our pocket and Ms [redacted] paid $As far as the rate change Ms [redacted] is talking about, the banks determine the rate and term they are willing to offerShe was offered several different terms and ratesAs with any finance company, the longer the term, the higher the rateDue to Ms [redacted] ' budget she wanted to stay within, she chose the month term at 7.75% instead of the month term at 6.49%Reason being, the payment was lower at months (even though the rate was a little higher)This was an easier and more comfortable payment for her and Ms [redacted] 100% agreed to the rates and terms presented to her by signing a legal binding contractClose to a month after Ms [redacted] purchased the vehicle she came in on a Saturday and threw the keys to her vehicle back on our receptionists desk and stated "here is your car back" and walked out of the dealershipShe was contacted that she needed to pick up her vehicle that she purchasedThe vehicle was already funded through the finance company and we told Ms [redacted] if she didn't pick it up it would result in the finance company repossessing the vehicle which would show on her credit bureauMs [redacted] picked the vehicle up the following TuesdayShe then returned that following day and spoke with both [redacted] and myself in the finance office and we showed her for the third time why her rate had changedShe left happy and did not have any more questionsWe thought the situation was resolved thenAs for financing through [redacted] ***, anyone that qualifies (credit and income pending) can get an auto loan through themYou do not need to be an employee or retiree to get a loan with themAs for the second key, we purchased the vehicle with one key and therefore we sold the vehicle with one keyIf there was a second key, we would have gave it to her at the time of purchaseI have attached the we owe as well which would have stated if we owed her a second keyIf you have any questions please call me at [redacted]

My name is [redacted] and I am the Sales Manager here at Motor City Auto SalesMs [redacted] came into our dealership to purchase a vehicle on January and January 21, We did run her credit one time and we did send her to multiple financial institutions to get her financedThese are true inquiries on her credit report and we cannot remove themIf you have any questions please feel free to contact me at [redacted]

We were notified by the finance company that Mr [redacted] 's name was spelled incorrectly on her insurance policyBoth Motor City and the finance company notified her that this needed to be correctedShe said she wouldAfter several hours, the finance company called and notified us that the change has not been madeWe did call her insurance company and asked them if they can send us a updated copy of insurance with her name spelled correctly so we can comply with the finance company's requestThe finance company only gives us a short amount of time to get them all the required documents and fund the deal, otherwise the deal gets returned for not complying. We 100% deny her request of returning her down paymentThe finance company required the down payment, not Motor City

My name is [redacted] *** and I am the Store Manager at Motor City Auto SalesWe have provided Ms [redacted] with everything she needs to register her vehicleShe was provided an inspection in her glove box the day of delivery and we have emailed a copy to herThere were zero mechanical issues with the vehicleShe took it to a Ford dealership and they "recommended" to change the cabin filter and air filter, which we did and paid forMs [redacted] needed a longer loan and wanted a lower payment and the only way to get the deal done was to extend the term which in return also raises the interest rate but lowers the monthly payment to the payment Ms [redacted] was looking forShe was presented multiple options when it came to financing this vehicle and this is the one she chose and signed all contracts and documents onIf you have any questions please feel free to call me at [redacted]

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:The only inspection in the car was April Since there wasn't a current inspection I knew that they hadn't done oneI purchased the car SeptSo I paid *** Ford for a oil change and inspection, for my own safety. They allowed me to drive for dayswhen I notified them what ford found which was that everything looked good except for the filters were really dirtyThe only other thing was the door panel on the passenger door was swollen and had come away from the whole door, so yes I thought the car may have been leaking water in or around the doorthey replaced the panel after I complainedI was also disturbed when I sat in the office with *** he told me that my interest rate was for I signed the Contract, then he throws that in the shredder Prints another saying he forgot something told me to sign itI should have reread it I didn'tI signed. the new contract rating he didn't inform me that the rate had changed. come time for me to Plate the car I looked in my paper work and realized what he had done I didn't agree to 7.75% So I took the car back I had been driving around in a vehicle that wasn't inspected all this time*** himself called me to take the car to their shop to get ID and OD numbers to even retrieve my Titlehe tells me that he had to up my interest rate because of the difference of paying off between to months I didn't understand it at all. *** comes out hollering and yelling at me that I'm gonna take this car or else he's gonna give me a Repossession on my credit I told him I didn't care what he did .by this time I was really mad because the girl at the front desk told says to me lady i'm on the phone then says mom let me call you backthat was a Saturday *** the salesman called me and said that the Dist Manager said to come in and redo the Contract at 3.49% That was the only reason I went back on Monday*** tells me Monday to take the car and come back the next day because *** was offHe wanted to talk to us both at the same timeTueshe wasn't listening to me him and *** were teaming up against me I told them that I had and was again gonna talk with the Revdex.com and *** ***. I was under the impression that only employees and retirees of ** could only use their Credit Union. I have been told that I will be receiving the title so I can register and get my plates for the car. When you purchase the car, you should receive the title at the time of purchase. I was also suppose to receive keys to the car and have not received them
Sincerely,
*** ***

My name is [redacted] I am the Finance Manager at Motor City Auto Sales. I had spoken with Ms. [redacted] yesterday about this situation. Mr. [redacted] came in to purchase a vehicle on 8/31/2017. paperwork. Ms. [redacted] signed all the paper work as the primary and Mr. [redacted] signed as the cosigner. We had spoken on the phone about Ms. [redacted] being first on the loan to get them a better rate with the bank. If you cosign on a deal whether you are the primary or not you equally own the car. I told Ms. [redacted] all they had to do is call the bank and get the address switched so the bill will go to Mr. [redacted]'s address. Mr. [redacted] has the title and the deal is funded with the bank. I thought everything was fine until we received this complaint. Please let me know if you have any questions. You can call me at any time at [redacted].

I spoke with the business and they agreed to do the right thing. Please close my complaint.

We provide a 30day or 1000 mile (whichever comes first) powertrain warranty on every vehicle that we offer for sale at...

Motor City along with the option for every customer to purchase an extended service protection plan that would cover any major repairs in the future. Mrs. [redacted] is way outside of the 30day 1000 mile warranty, she has driven this Outlander at least for 10 Months and put min 18k miles on it. Mrs. [redacted] chose not to purchase the extended warranty and signed documentation stating that she was denying any extended coverage offered to her. We would be glad to try and Help and save her as much money as we can at the service facility we are contracted with but by no means are we liable or should be liable for any repairs she has now or in the future. I'm not sure why she is expecting Motor City to cover this repair when she is clearly outside of her 30day 1000 mile warranty.

I received a phone call yesterday from my auto insurance company that this company(Motor City) was requesting my policy name be changed without my permission and then offered to fax my drivers license to secure that I was in agreement with this and this is not what I agreed to. My insurance agent contacted me to let me know that my confidentiality was being imposed upon and asked if I consented to this change and I had not. My insurance company has this noted.

Ms. [redacted] purchased a 2014 Dodge Charger from us on 3/18/2017. She came to us with buyers remorse and is trying to return this vehicle. Ms. [redacted] signed legal binding documents for the vehicle and does not understand that you cannot just return a vehicle. She came in wanting to get 2 vehicles...

for herself and her boyfriend. Her boyfriend couldn't get a vehicle because of his social being red flagged and we needed proof that it was really him. So she bought one vehicle. She later came in saying that this vehicle was for her boyfriend and wanted to get one for herself and trade in her 2nd auto. We told her she could refinance when she asked but, she would have to pay her sales tax and register the vehicle before she could do that.
