Review: I purchased a 2 year warranty on a mold control spray for my return vent. They stated they would come back out in one year to respray and the following year to make sure there weren't any issues. I have called them several times and left messages with no response.Desired Settlement: The company needs to call me and schedule a time to complete the warranty work they promised or return the money I paid for the warranty coverage.

Review: This company utilizes sub contractors that they do not do criminal background checks on. One of their sub contractors put $3600 in unauthorized credit card charges on my credit card. I reported this to the manager at Mountain Air and he said it was my credit card fault because it was a mistake by the sub contractor. He did not apologize and told me to just settle it with my credit card and they he does not have the money.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the original purchase of services rendered. Not the $3600 in unauthorized charges.

Review: On Monday, July 21, I was visited by Mountain Air Duct Cleaning. I had purchased a [redacted] through [redacted] Duct Cleaning who subcontract other companies out. I was not aware of this, nor was I told that would be the case. My fiancé was at home awaiting the individual. They were not on time and I called to obtain the current status of my appointment. They contacted the individual and he made a call to me. Not only was he going to be later than expected, but he did not even have my address and had not contacted me to obtain it in advance.

Once he arrived he pulled out a small shop vacuum with a short hose, and started his air compressor. His duct cleaning consisted of aiming a hose at our vents and blowing air with no justification of where it would end up. This took him 10-15 minutes at most. Then he went outside and "cleaned" our dryer vent. This consisted of the same system. However when I went out there immediately after his departure, there was no lint anywhere. His vacuum never moved to pick anything up. So there are two options: (1) We have an extremely clean dryer vent, or (2) He blew into the dryer vent with air. This is extremely dangerous and I have to follow up to ensure that is not the case.

After he got off of a 8-10 minute call with someone else during our service time, he came back in and announced that he was done. He tried to sell us more cleaning, said that this cleaning was worthless unless we did the rest of the house. However, with what I witnessed I did not want him to come back, nor do any more cleaning as I know this was the improper procedure. He told my fiancé what he did, to include checking our furnace. The problem with this is that we do not have a furnace, we have a heat pump outside. I don't believe he knew what he was doing, nor was he very knowledgeable about his profession.

I have my fiancé and her mother who were there at the time as well, and they will vouch that nothing seemed appropriate about this.

Since he arrived and conducted his "cleaning" my fiancé has had allergies flare up worse than she has had in our home in the past. I'm not sure if the duct cleaning has anything to do with this, which is why I did not select the option "Yes" regarding the complaint involving a health issue, but I feel that's important to mention as well. It's quite the coincidence if it has nothing to do with the lackadaisical services that were performed.

A day later I called the contracting business [redacted] Duct Cleaning. I let them calmly know what happened and they said they would forward my number and information over to Mountain Air Duct Cleaning and they would call me within the day. I received no call, so I recalled [redacted] Duct Cleaning this past Monday, 7/28/14. At this point I was not aware they were giving my information to Mountain Air. I thought this was a self-contained business. I was a little more frustrated than before and they promised my information and number would be forwarded over and I would definitely receive a call within the day.

Come today, 7/30/14, and I did not receive a call. I called [redacted] again and told them that I wished to have the direct number of their supervisor for a refund. They said I would have to talk to the other company for a refund but that they would pass my information along again. I didn't take that as an answer and I requested the number of the company to call them directly. After putting me on hold, they gave me the number.

I immediately called the company and told them my issue and how I would like to see it resolved. They put me on hold and then ensured me that a manager would call me within the hour.

I have yet to receive a call. I called back an hour and a half later and I was sent directly to voicemail where I notified them I would be contacting you all to ensure you had an update on their company.

I find their customer service lacking, a complete failure to follow up, and their product that they advertise and that [redacted] Duct Cleaning promotes is an inferior one. My fiancé, as the purchaser of the [redacted] and overall product, has contacted [redacted] to let them know about what has happened and we are hoping for a refund from one side or another.

Ultimately, I feel it necessary to let you know about our experience with this(these) company(ies). I am disappointed that individuals treat their customers this way and find it unfortunate they are still in business.

Thank you for giving consumers like me the ability to communicate this with you as the mediator. I truly appreciate it and I hope to hear from you soon. Please know, I am frustrated, but I know I am not the only one who is frustrated with this company as I have seen 47 complaints have also been filed on your website.

Thank you again for taking the time to read this and consider my complaint.Desired Settlement: Quite honestly, I do not want anyone else to come into our home from this company. I was told that this company was responsible for the [redacted] refund and I would like my money back. I feel that I did not receive the proper services agreed upon.

A refund and an apology for failing to provide appropriate services and communication would be appropriate.

Review: The [redacted] I bought was for "Its Duct Time". However they contracted out their business to "Mountain Air Duct Services", which I have found out have horrific reviews. They were the ones who had broke my dryer. I contacted them about it and they said they would have someone come out and fix it at no additional cost. The guy came today, late, an hour after his window, but instead of fixing it the guy wanted to charge me $54 to clean the exterior vent and said that it must be a coincidence that my dryer broke when they came.Desired Settlement: [redacted] reimbursed me $15 for the $49 service. I would like the rest of my money back.

Fwd: Complaint [redacted]

Review: I received duct cleaning services via Mountain Air Duct cleaners with a coupon purchased through [redacted] for $39 (advertised as 80% savings from regular cleaning cost). It appears they contract out their service, as the technician and paperwork at my home was labeled Duct Dogs Corp. Upon entering my home I was informed that I would be charged an additional $330 to complete the job. ($100 for 5 extra returns, $100 for the main duct, $100 for sanitizer, and $30 for access panels). When I expressed concern for the extra charges, they did not charge for the sanitizer, reducing the price to an additional $230. I requested that they complete only the portions covered by the coupon and I was informed that they could not clean only part of the system, since the dust would be pulled through from the other areas - hence, my choice was to either receive no services or pay the additional $230. These extra charges were never mentioned on the phone when scheduling and I felt pressured into agreeing to the service once the appointment had been scheduled and the technician was in my home. This appears to be an advertising ploy to get the consumer to invest money in the service and schedule, and then the consumer is forced into upselling once the technician arrives. In looking into reviews, this appears to be a common sales tactic used by this company.

In addition to being upset about the additional cost, the technician left piles of dust next to some vents. Of greater concern he left at least 7 pieces of very sharp metal scattered on the floor that he cut from the vents while working. This is a significant risk factor for my husband and I, as well as our infant, 2 cats, and 2 dogs, all of which could've ingested the items with serious injury or death if I hadn't noticed the oversight. I have saved the shards and have pictures I can make available for review if needed (I don't see any way to attach them to this complaint).Desired Settlement: Given the poor workmanship and unethical sales tactic, I would like a full refund of the required additional $230. At minimum, to accept closure I would require a refund of $130 for the main duct and access panels, as these are a minimum requirement to complete the job and should be included in the base price. Most importantly, I would like someone to stop the company from advertising in this manner to prevent others from being subject to these fraudulent practices.

Review: I bought a [redacted] that stated specific services to be given by said company. Unlimited vents and one return vent, one system only. I have a big house but I'm okay with this the price is right. This is not my first [redacted], probably around 50-55th. It takes two last minute, day of, cancellations by the company to finally get someone to my house. I come home while the tech is in progress of cleaning vents and my husband says it's going to cost us $330 for the cleaning. I laugh because I have my [redacted]. I tell him no it won't it's already paid for. Now, when you make your appt. you tell them you have the [redacted] promotion. So my husband starts to panic and tells me the tech pulled off the [redacted] I left taped to my cabinet and still continued to write out a work order for all these vents and things. So he goes to tell the tech that I'm home and I already paid with the [redacted]. The tech comes upstairs and says he "already" worked way over the [redacted] price. I tell him to stop and that I'm not paying for anything more than what's on that coupon. He tells me he has nothing to do with advertising and my husband okay'd his work order. He was sent here for a [redacted] job, he pulled the [redacted] off my cabinet. He knows what to do. I again tell him I'm not paying for anything that's not on the [redacted] and he tells me to calm down and stop yelling at him. I'm not yelling, but I'm upset that he thought he could come in my house and charge us for $300 worth of work we didn't ask for. My husband offers him $100 to stop and leave. He calls his "boss" and says he'll take $160 but I say no and he should not have done anything other than what was on the [redacted]. Then my house phone rings, it's the woman who scheduled, cancelled the appts. She starts to tell me that my husband approved the work order and I need to pay, I respond by asking her if she was here for that. I also tell her that when I scheduled my appt. with my [redacted] that was the service I expected. She threatens collections and I hang up. He leaves.Desired Settlement: Company investigated. I couldn't find it when starting this complaint. Their given website is invalid. The tech definitely tried to con my husband. If I didn't come home and insisted on following the service I prepurchased we would be out $330 for sure. And I can't find this company on the web. The # I was called on for canceling was a [redacted] # ###-###-#### they post a [redacted] zip-code on the [redacted] site the site connecting them on [redacted] is out of Virginia.??

Regards,

Review: I had no idea that I would need to pay $615 for extra services. From what I've discovered after the service occurred, I believe I was way overcharged. In addition, I don't believe that my dryer ductwork was cleaned as it was supposed to be.

Finally, it was odd that the check needed to be made out to an individual rather than a business, and that it was cashed shortly after the check was written (and that was at the end of the business day, so he must have gone straight to my bank to have the check cashed).Desired Settlement: Although the services received were of some value, I would have thought that simple suction of the system (instead of sticking machinery inside the ductwork to clean it with friction) would have been worth about a third of the price paid. I would like an appropriate refund.

Review: On Dec 23,2011 this company was contracted to clean my home's air duct services and reported that mold was present and was given the permission to proceed with treatment for that problem. They warrantied their work for annual visits for 2 years thereafter and I was informed by their employee [redacted] that they would automatically contact me for the subsequent visits. This did not happen so I called the company and an appt for Jan 14,2013 was made.I was not home but a family member was waiting for their arrival between the agreed upon hours of 12n to 3pm.When this window passed, I received a call that the company did not come,so I placed a call to them ,only to be informed that they had come by, but did not notify anyone of their presence or asked to gain entrance to check my system for mold. They also stated that everything was okay,no treatment was indicated.I thought this was strange and when family members repeatedly complained about the dust in the air, I consulted another company for the air duct cleaning on 10/8/13. They reported mold in the system. I contacted Mountain again and requested they return to clean and treat the system as the warranty was still in effect and another company found mold .On 10/16/13 the technician came by and again said the system was okay .I had originally paid $389.00 for the mold treatment and would like to have it refunded as the problem persists and I don't believe the company truly attempted to do a thorough follow-up .Desired Settlement: I would like to have a healthy air duct system, which is what I paid for, so I would not use this company again.

Review: I received services from Mountain Air Duct Cleaning the afternoon of Thursday, December 19th, 2013 because I found a coupon from my local [redacted]. They did their job, but what I was not expecting was for them to leave a trail of dust and trash everywhere when I spent the whole duration of their stay cleaning my house to prepare it for guests later that evening. I was absolutely exhausted and disappointed so I called [redacted] (the guy who serviced my Ducts) and he told me that he can come by tomorrow to clean up their mess, but it’s “normal” to have some trash lying around from the treatment. When I explained to him it’s more than just a few pieces of “trash,” dust, big pieces of foil from my dryer which they never moved back into place and stuff in my freshly scrubbed and cleaned sink from the ceiling, the filters that they removed and just left, you can better believe I was not a happy camper to say the least. I became irate after he insisted on telling me that they can come out first thing tomorrow since it’s almost the end of their business day. What good does that do me if I am to have guests over in the evening? He said he would call his manager and see what they can do. He called me back and told me that the earliest they could send someone out would be 6:30 pm at which point I declined because I had to go pick up my bf from the airport and get ready for our guests to arrive and told him that I just want a partial refund for having to clean up after their mess which was not part of any service agreement cuz I did not sign up to be someones maid after I had already spent the day cleaning. He insisted on coming out tomorrow to clean it up and I refused and said I have to do it before all my guests arrive and if you cannot arrive within the hour to help me then there would be no point. Since I was getting nowhere going back and forth with [redacted] I decided to call the office myself and to my surprise, the manager was “busy,” but I left a message. I didn’t hear anything back so I tried to call again on Monday and left another message, but before I did asked for the managers name ([redacted]). Over the past month I have called at least six times and never heard anything back from the manager. I have had one employee try to help me, but she said there’s nothing she can do, it’s up to the manager, which is why I keep asking for the manager… Today I called yet again and asked to speak with the owner and was directed to speak with a manager who won’t be back into the office until Monday. I asked the lady why is it so hard to receive a return phone call from the manager [redacted]? Her reply to me was that the manager is pregnant… Umm, okay, last time I checked that’s not really an excuse as to why you can’t return multiple messages and phone calls from an unhappy customer due to your employee’s negligence and rush to be in and out. It has been OVER A MONTH and still nothing. I called again today and no apology or anything as usual, but again, I was told a manager would get back to me by the end of today which I doubt since they tell me that every time I call. I am hoping to obtain better results by going through the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: Initially I wanted a partial refund for having to re-clean my house and being a "maid" after them, but after seeing how irresponsible this company is and the negligence towards customers and customer service to the point where I am still calling and leaving messages after a month I would like a FULL REFUND! Obviously all they care about is my $ and not business. Their website says 100% satisfaction guaranteed! Apparently not.

Review: I purchased a service through [redacted] for Mountain Air Duct Services. The required customers to make an appointment. They provided a telephone number but after attempting the number for nearly a week or more after my purchase and leaving numerous messages, they finally called me back to schedule an appointment. I scheduled an appointment in July 2014 for my service purchased through [redacted]. The representative gave me a window of time - I was asked to be home for the service between the hours of 2-6PM. No one from Mountain Air Duct Services showed or contacted me during those hours to notify me that they needed to cancel or would be late. I received a telephone call at approximately 7:30-8PM from a service agent stating that he was hours from my home and could not arrive to perform the services until 9-10PM. I advised this was totally unacceptable and that I did not feel comfortable having agents in my home, whom I did not know, at that time of not. In addition, the request to enter my home at that hour was wholly unprofessional. The representative became frustrated with me and appeared angry because I asked to reschedule. I contacted Mountain Air Duct Services again the next day to reschedule. My new appointment was scheduled for 9/17/14. I was given a window of time to allow the agents to arrive between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Again, no one appeared at my home and no one contacted me to advise me that they would be running late. I contacted Mountain Air Duct Services at approximately 3:30 p.m. and requested a status update and an ETA. I was told I would be contacted shortly. I received a phone call back from Mountain Air Duct Services at approximately 4:30 p.m. - nearly 2.5 hours after my 2 p.m. window ended - to advise that the technician was running late again and could probably be at my home in a few hours. This [redacted] (service) was scheduled to expire in three (3) days from 9/17/14. I immediately contacted [redacted] has refunded my money and has filed an internal complaint there. I do not wish to have this happen again to another customer. Mountain Air Duct Services does not appear to be a reputable business and their representatives, for the most part, are extremely unprofessional and not sympathetic at all to the customer's complaints and/or concerns. I had no further recourse other than to file a complaint with [redacted] and the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: Prevent this company from advertising services on a company such as [redacted] if they are unable to fulfill their obligations as previously advertised. Develop better customer relation skills and professional conduct. I would like to be contacted to advise of what happened. I would ask that this Complaint be filed against them and reflected in their records.

Review: I recently bought a [redacted] deal for an air duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning from Mountain Air. After them rescheduling a few times, they finally showed up.

They guy that showed up was very in-enthused and looked bored out of his mind. He then used an air hose and blew at the air vents. This just caused the dust to stir-up and dirty my carpeting. He then blew on the dryer vent. It stirred up the dust about a foot into the vent and left dust on the floor. No vacuum was every used and nothing was cleaned.

Then he just left without saying anything. This whole process took him about 5 mins. He didn't have a vacuum or anything to actually clean the air ducts and dryer vent as the [redacted] indicates. He did offer to charge me $75 to blow off each additional vent.

This was absolutely a ripoff. I could have done a better job by just uses a wash cloth on the vent.

It's really not right for other people to be scammed.

Thank you,

[redacted]Desired Settlement: Refund of $39 and stop scamming other people.

Review: We paid for and scheduled an appointment to get our air vents cleaned. They failed to show up. We gave them 2 more tries and they never showed up for any of the appointments. We agreed to have a refund issued. It never showed up. I contacted them again and they said they were going to mail a refund. That was 2 weeks ago, and still no refundDesired Settlement: I want my money back!

Review: I recently bought a voucher on [redacted] from this company for a whole house air duct cleaning, return vent, dryer vent and fu cleaning and furace inspection for $39. I had to schedule a month in advance which is fine. When the day came and the technician came out it was basically a sales gimmick. He said that all we get for the [redacted] voucher is the vacuum connected to the main duct for 20 mins. They only did it for 10 and were gone. It was a huge gimmick.Desired Settlement: Or money back

Review: I bought a [redacted] for Mountain Air Duct Services for a Whole-House Air-Duct and Dryer-Vent Cleaning from Mountain Air Duct Services. They came to my house on May 9th 2014 to do the service. While they were there they told me they found mold in my furnace. My father was present, so he went down to see if he could see anything. He told me that he could not and that I should call my furnace person since I have been using them since I bought the house and they know the unit. I strictly bought this [redacted] for the air duct and vent cleaning. My father leaves the house and the one employee comes up stairs and says, "Next time you want your vent and dryer cleaned, you should probably just call your furnace person instead of wasting our time". I felt that he had no right to say that to me in my own home when he is providing me a service that I paid for. I called [redacted] and let them know what happened. Then I called the Mountain Air Duct Services and left a message for them to call me back. I had not heard back from them, when I went up stairs to my third floor and found all the lights on and then vent grates not put back on. I called Mountain Air Duct Services again and left a message with the reception that the supervisor needed to call me back today to discuss and that I was very unhappy with the service I was provided and how I was treated. The receptionist told me that I would hear back from someone by the end of the day. I did not. The next morning the owner of the company calls me and would not let me explain what happened. He basically said his company provided me a service and no matter how I felt from how his employees treated me, I still got the service and I would not be refunded my money. At that point I told him I would be filing with the Revdex.com. He told me not to threaten him and I said it wasn't a threat. The Revdex.com is here to help customers in need of assistance. He then said "Well you go ahead and do that and Ill have an answer for the Revdex.com" and then proceeded to hang up on me.Desired Settlement: I would like the $39.00 dollars refunded back to me for this service. I was not satisfied with 1. the way I was treated in my own home, 2. the way they left my home after doing the service and the service that was provided (my dryer vent is still dirty and filled with lint), and 3. the way the manager treated me on the phone when he called to discuss the situation. I honestly felt uncomfortable and scared with the way he was talking to me.

Review: I saw a coupon in the mail regarding air duct cleaning services for $59.99 and that in addition they will vacuum my washing dryer. Also picture of before and after the cleaning will be provided upon completion.

As scheduled, two of Mountain Air Duct Services company representative arrived my house on Monday at 8.22 (This is the time my son called me that they arrived. I went to a nearby gas station)

After a tour of the house, I was told, I needed a major cleaning because of the fire incident in my house that trigger off the sprinkler system thereby causing water to enter part of the basement that housed the engine room. According to them, I need to have this done in other not to have mold in the house. After bargaining,I agreed with the representative to pay $400 ( He spoke in Spanish with his boss to get approval for the money I agreed to pay) Upon inquiry, the company representative told me it will take them one to one and half hours to get the job done.

The cleaning started at exactly 8.44am .He requested payment before services, the request which I gladly granted.

Immediate after paying $400 to the guy, I told him I want to ran to Home depot to get some material for one of the contractors working in my house.

To my surprise, my son called me at 9.44am (exactly 45mins after these guys started) that the job has been completed and that the guy don`t want to wait and they have given him the receipt I previously signed

I met them three houses from my house, they told me the whole job is done properly and have given my son the necessary documentation.

Despite my plead with them to let me inspect their work before departure did not yield any positive result, instead they just drove off. I called the guy on his cellphone ,he told me if I am not pleased with the work I should contact their offices, which I did.Between Monday 07/22 /13 I have made six calls to their office with the promise that someone will come back to complete the work.

I was constraint to bring this to your attention after I was told today by one of the company "Supervisor" that there is nothing they can do if the guy don`t want to come back to my house.

Please I need your assistance. Now I fear they might come back and do more damages to the boiler hence I need the refund of my money.Desired Settlement: Need them to deduct the original charge of $59.99 indicated on their coupon and refund me $340.01

Review: On March 26, 2013 an email confirmation was made that I would have the company come to clean my air ducts on April 1 between 2 - 5 so I took the day off without pay and waited for them, but they never showed. I emailed that evening inquiring as to what happened so [redacted] said she made a mistake and rescheduled them to come the next day on April 2 between 2 - 5 so once again I took the day off work without pay and locked my dog in the bedroom waiting for them to show, but they never did. I emailed [redacted] that evening to say noone showed up again after I lost two days of pay and locked my dog up those two days. [redacted] never responded back to that and today is 4/18/2013. I waited a couple of days to hear back and when I never did I had to find some other company to come out as I have a 12 month old grandson that had just had a bone marrow transplant and I had to get those cleaned before he came home as him and his mom live with me.Desired Settlement: An apology, and they could compensate my time off of work as I had to take off that third time also for the other people that showed up and they were even early.

Review: the company advertised work that they would do and they didn't do it. I paid for a service and they didn't do the work. this company is a scam.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because it is not true. They did 10 minutes of "work" and left me with an 1 hour of clean up work with vent covers not screwed back into place, dirt on the floor etc.

I was not at all satisfied with their work and I would like to have my money refunded.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because it wasn't [redacted]'s home where the "work (if you can call it that)" took place it was in my home and that is not my last name.

Also, they say I signed off on the work but I wasn't even at the house when Mountain Air Duct Services did the work. These are sad excuses for why they took my money and didn't do the work that they were supposed to do.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!

Review: My mother in law was kind enough to purchase air duct cleaning services for our new home through [redacted] Local deals, but we quickly discovered during their visit yesterday that the service provider was not above board. While air ducts were covered as part of the special, returns were not. They charged us $29.99 per return and incorrectly counted the number of returns in the house and charged us for that higher number. Then throughout the visit, they continued to try to upsell us -- once by saying that there was a fungus growing on our furnace that likely meant mold was blowing through our A/C vents. The fix? A $399 furnace coil flush. Then, 10 minutes later, they said that they spotted mold in an upstairs air vent that could be fixed with a $299 air mist that they would send through the vents. With a proposed bill of nearly $1,000, I knew something wasn't right, so I looked up their information and noticed that there were other bad reviews/complaints online. I confronted the technicians with this information, asked them to stop work immediately and told them I would pay for the returns and nothing else. The technician claimed that they had finished the work and that I owed them $699 (even though they had not yet completed the project). After much back/forth, they left with $379 only to discover that they had miscounted the number of returns and failed to clean a few of them. When we called them to report the failure to finish the job, they came back vacuumed the vent. When we asked the technician to come inside and reexamine/count the number of return ducts, he took off in his car. After many phone calls with their main office, they have since reduced the price a bit more as a result of the incorrect return count. To make a long story short, this is a company that preys on new, unsuspecting homeowners and $300 later I'm still not even sure my ducts are clean. After doing some research, a reputable duct cleaning company should take at least 3-4 hours to do the job. These guys were there for 45 minutes. My concern is that I just paid $300 and that they may not have appropriately completed the work requested and, worse yet, could have done damage to my existing HVAC unit.Desired Settlement: I believe that I am owed a full refund for these services, but my biggest concern is making sure that this company is not able to scam other homeowners like me. I have the knowledge to research things online, but old homeowners or less tech-savvy homeowners may not be so lucky.

Review: I purchased a [redacted] coupon as a gift for my daughter in the amount of $55 from Mountain Duct Cleaning of Northern Virginia: B. Whole-House Air-duct Cleaning Plus Dryer Vent Cleaning

MOUNTAIN DUCT CLEANING OF NORTHERN VIRGINIA. Service date was on August 5, 2014. The appointment time was scheduled for 12-3pm . The technician called me at 9:30am and informed me that they would be there within 30 minutes.

Luckily I was able to meet them that early. When the two technicians arrived, one started vacuuming the vents while the other started taking the return vent cover off and went downstairs to the basement where the furnace was located. This technician came back upstairs

and started drawing a diagram to show me what was wrong with the furnace and when he realized that I was not the owner of the house he wanted to talk to my daughter. I told him I wanted to see what he was talking about.

When we got downstairs, he started telling me the furnace did not have a filter (which it does and I pointed it out to him) and

that the furnace was dirty and had mold issues. I looked and did see some dirt but nothing that looked like mold to me. He said he could clean and treat the furnace. I don't remember the exact amount but it was close to $300. I told him no I was not paying anything extra.

I told him my daughter had a home warranty and the furnace was probably covered under that. He asked if I could call my daughter who told him the same thing. At this point he put the cover back on the furnace and we went upstairs. When I asked him about the return end, her said it had mold as well and he would clean and treat for $200. Again I said no and asked that he just clean the vent, the coupon stated that return vents would be cleaned at the cost of $14.95 each. The technician refused the clean the return vent without the mold treatment, or $200.

As the technicians were taking the vacuum back to their truck , I asked the one that I had been dealing directly with to leave me a receipt telling me what was wrong with the furnace. The techs put the equipment in the truck and left. I don't have the name of the company

that they worked for since they didn't leave a receipt or business card.

The same afternoon, I contacted Mountain Air Duct Services at 1.844.215.5050 and asked to speaker to the owner/manager, who was not there. I explained to him what had happened. He did offer to come back and clean the return vent but I told him it was too much of a hassle and that

I want my $55 for coupon return since I did not feel that the contracted company had performed the work to my satisfaction. I was informed that a manager would call me back the next day.

Two days later, I called again since no one had called me. I had to go through the story again and was told that a manager would call me back. I don't feel that I will ever hear from this company.

I want my money returned and this company prevented from offering coupons through [redacted] or other methods,Desired Settlement: Refund of my $55.
