The guys were great, I only needed a few things moved but they were quick and patient when I was renting the storage unit. The whole process went smoothly thanks to them!

I have used this company for 3 separate jobs and everytime has been a success. The teams they sent were fast, friendly and patient when placing furniture inside our homes. The price has always been competitive as well. They were also on time all 3 dates... which is a rarity when working with moving companies. Highly recommend!

Excellent service! Very quick response time. Very very polite. They happily wrapped whatever furniture I asked them to, plus some other items just to protect them.
I've moved half a dozen times and these are the best movers I've dealt with. I would gladly recommend them to anyone who has to go through a stressful move.

Delivery and pickup was easy and professional. If you have lots of books and kitchen stuff I recommend getting a few more boxes than they suggest.

These guys were fantastic! We moved the day after Thanksgiving and they showed up 10 minutes early and had our whole 3 bedroom place loaded up in an hour. They sent an extra man at no charge and came in under time and under budget, and were extremely friendly, and careful with all of our furniture. I have not had a better moving experience and give our highest recommendations to use these guys!

Super quick and easy to schedule with them. I had to change my date and they were more than accommodating. The team moved me into my place so quick, it took no time at all. Would definitely recommend and use them again.

Just used their services today and was very pleased! I've moved many times over the past 5 years and have used different moving services and these guys honestly were the best. They are amazing movers! I moved from a second floor apartment to a townhouse with two floors. They had me loaded, moved and unloaded in just over an hour. Even with this amazing speed, they took great care of my stuff and everything was placed carefully and neatly in the new place in the proper rooms. All of my interactions from scheduling the move to the actual movers were very professional and pleasant. I can't recommend them highly enough. If you need to move, don't even consider anyone else.

The substandard performance of the company caused damage to furniture. The loss of screws made some furniture impossible to reassemble. Finally, the low-quality packing job caused me hours of rework. We agreed to a refund of 3 hours of work or $360. Victor, the manager, said he would have to send as a check since I originally paid in cash, which after more than a week still hasn't arrived. The address is local to the company, so nine days should be sufficient time for the check to be received.

I hired Move Central Moving and Storage this past September and was very pleased with the services they provided. The entire process-from booking to Moving Day- was seamless and all the staff were professional and friendly.

I submitted a request for a quote online, and within a few minutes, I spoke with someone over the phone and then received a quote via email. I corresponded with Juliana, she was quick to respond to all my questions and wrote clear and professionals emails. While many companies where trying to charge all sorts of extra fees to handle a baby grand piano, Juliana expressed no concern as their movers have experience with all sorts of furniture. She quoted me a fair hourly rate for movers and complimentary wardrobe boxes. I decided to go with them as other companies quoted much higher or didn't seem professional over the phone and very responsive.

The day before moving day, I received a confirmation text from Antonio the dispatcher. Antonio texted throughout the day on moving day to provide updates and check in how the move was going. The moving team lead by Matt was awesome. They were all very friendly and polite. They took care of all my furniture and wrapped everything carefully in blankets and tape. My wardrobe was quite large, but they were great with their tools and at figuring out ways to move it through the doors and tricky angles. I was impressed by their hard work, efficiency, and the care/attention they had with my furniture. I'd gladly hire Move Central again!

Tried to get me to pay bill so they could leave before the truck was even unloaded at my new residence
I tried to save money (because they had a bad reputation with me over a previous move) and told them they could just put all of the boxes (about 50) in the garage, which was above 2 feet from their truck, instead of having to carry them upstairs to the house. I insisted if they did that that they stack the boxes neatly against the wall so I could access them and also have room for my car. They left the garage in complete disarray, with boxes tossed into the garage 5 or 6 deep, leaving large pieces of furniture blocking my access to the boxes. It was almost as though they did it intentionally.
When I found out about the size of the bill, it was a totally unexpected shock. I expected to pay less, not more than my previous move, because all they had to move was furniture. It was actually 1.5 times more than my previous bill for the same amount of time and same service.
When I communicated this to someone at the office, whom the crew referred to as "boss" he just said that if I did not pay the full bill before the drivers left, they would have to take some of my (more valuable) pieces back to the facility with them as "collateral." I refused to do that and so did the drivers.
I was never given a breakdown of the bill, just the total. The "boss" said to me that there was no way to predict the amount of the bill, as it varies from one situation to another. But the amount of time the movers spend was exactly the same as my previous move.

We hired this company to move and store our items for us, and had an absolutely horrible experience with them. When moving our things out of the apartment, they arrived late but still charged us for the extra hour that they did not work. They haphazardly packed our things without any care, just throwing them into boxes, and charged the same rate for hours of packing as they did for hours of moving (the rate for packing is significantly lower than the rate of moving). We called in advance to schedule a day for our move in and they said they would schedule us in, but on the move in day they did not contact us at all and when we called, they informed us that we had missing payments in the sum of $600. We were not notified of any such payments. They tried to later tell us that they payments had been made, and then corrected themselves by saying that the first month of storage was free. When they brought us our stuff, so many things were missing. Our drawers had been rummaged through and the most valuable items were missing. We are missing a Kate Spade wallet, a Tory Burch bag, a YSL purse, a vanity mirror, a checkbook, an Amazon Alexa, prescription medicine, and multiple boxes of personal items. Many of our drawers came broken or damaged, or half empty. The checks that went missing were illegally cashed and thousands of dollars were stolen from my roommate's bank account. The movers also stored trash with our stuff for a month, so we were delivered a trash can full of cockroaches with the rest of our stuff. The movers disassembled our furniture when moving out, and refused to put our things back together when delivering, and they lost our screws and bolts so we were unable to reassemble our furniture ourselves. Almost all of our furniture came with scratches, and we were even delivered a few items that were not ours. For the loss of thousands of dollars worth of items, we were only offered a $125 refund. We have contacted the company multiple times since, to no reply.

What a horrible disappointment Move Central turned out to be. I assumed that all of their positive reviews would help alleviate the stress of moving, but they merely added to it. I sent them information about my move and the size of my house. But they only sent two movers. We did an initial walk-through of the house, but when I showed them the patio area and the potted plants, they told me it is company policy that they cannot move any living plants due to their delicate nature. HAHA...had I known that up front, I would have hired another company. And of course, I searched their website, and it says nothing about forbidden items, including potted plants. In addition to that, they were in such a hurry to get my move completed, they damaged the exterior and interior of my new home, as well as my sofa legs, and they snapped the legs off of my headboard trying to force in through a curve in my hallway. It was really very frustrating to deal with a moving company that does not give a damn about you or your things. I contacted *** with whom I made the reservation. He then sent my complaint to someone by the name of *** I was initially happy that he responded to my inquiry, but now, three days after the damages, I have yet to hear from him or anyone else at Move Central. Not only do I have damaged furniture, but I had to rent a *** to go back and move the rest of my stuff because the employees at Move Central were too lazy to do the job I paid for. Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT believe the positive reviews, which I would assume were left by friends and family members. I would have never expected to pay so much for such horrible service, not to mention broken furniture and damage to my home. I would not recommend this company even if their services were free.

Move Central helped me move last week, May 24. These were great guys, Anthony, the Forman, Dominique, and Jamon. They were professional, efficient, courteous and considerate of my dog. The move was beyond my expectations and I am a fussy, older lady. All my belongings, furniture were moved with care, wrapped so nothing was soiled. I highly recommend this moving company. I have fragile things and was very stressed. Everything including my refrigerator arrived safely and less time than I expected.

My wife and I hired Move Central to move our 2-bedroom condo from Mira Mesa to Hillcrest area San Diego. They quoted us 5-6 hours with 2 movers, 1 truck and all the necessary equipment. The movers showed up 30 minutes late (promised 8-9am) in a non-marked, U-Haul rented truck at around 9:30am and did not finish the move until 7pm (9.5 hours later). They took over 4 hours just to move out of our old location. It is a 20 minute drive from the old to new place but they took a 1.5 hour lunch break, disappearing with our belongings during this time. The movers were not strong enough and struggled greatly at the new location. We made it very clear that there were 2 flights of stairs at the new location and stairs are very common! They took over 45 minutes to move a piece of our couch alone. Our furniture was not even hardwood or very heavy. The movers greatly damaged the paint and walls and light fixtures in the new apartment building by banging our furniture up against them and being unable to properly lift things. The new HOA is now billing us for the paint and drywall repairs, and we are now left with permanently damaged furniture. My wife and I had to start helping move things when we saw how badly the movers were handling things and that defeats the entire purpose of hiring a moving company! A professional company should not cause this sort of damage.

I tried to contact Move Central several times. The first time was in the middle of the move, and I requested an extra mover but was told no, no one can help. Second, I told this entire problem to the supposed manager *** at the end of the move and was treated extremely rudely. He took zero responsibility for his employees and blamed me for the issues. Third, I called the next day and asked for the owner and spoke to ***, who assured me he would talk to *** the owner and get back to me. It has since been (5) days with no response, I've called the company and they refuse to return my calls.

I spoke with *** 10 days ago and I issued a refund for the moving service in order to make things right and we agreed that Move Central will pay the invoice for repairs of the damaged walls. *** is waiting to receive the invoice from the property management. As soon as he sends it over, we'll pay for it and the complaint will be resolved.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If I could give them a zero rating, I would have. We called and made sure that they understand our need to move a fridge to the second floor of a condo. The two movers spent over 1.5 hours on a failed attempt to move the fridge and told us that we need to buy a new refrigerator. The next day we paid $200 to a professional mover to take the fridge upstairs. They scratched the fridge and dented it. They broke a glass vase. I called their management and they said they will listen to the recordings where we requested the fridge to be moved upstairs and 5 days later no calls from them. Called for the last time and it was a waste of time. I hope this review saves another person time, headache and money.

I used Move Central to move from Carmel Valley to about 8.2. miles away to a condo in del Mar last Friday, June 30th, 2017. My experience scheduling the move was very positive. I received a call and a follow up email. Little did I know it would take two men from 3:45 pm to 2 am to move my one bedroom apartment, from a building with a large elevator into a two story condo.

The movers were scheduled to show up between 2 and 4. They finally showed up at 3:45 pm. The leader of the two person crew told me they were exhausted, having already moved someone else earlier. I was sympathetic, but unfortunately still had to move as my lease was ending.

We asked them to stop packing items in the Kitchen as it was obviously taking too long. I had some boxes on the first floor in a storage unit, I ended up taking most all of them to the truck myself. It appeared the the movers were taking many items one at a time and didn't have a large box on a "four roller" to move a lot of items at once.

During the move out of the apartment, they informed me that they needed to take a break and disappeared for 45 minutes. After the items were finally loaded into the truck with my help, they told me they needed to go eat. I wouldn't see them again for another 1.5 hours. After the first hour, I tried frantically to reach them, worried that something had gone terribly wrong and maybe I should call the police to report the robbery. They informed me they had an issue getting their pizza from Domino's but that they were on their way.
