The company put an advertising sign in my front yard, beside the "for sale" sign, without my permission, they didn't ask It was there for about minutes before I noticed itI did throw the sign away at that point They were trying to use my property to advertise their company without my permission, or the permission of my realtor

I would love to say that my experience with Movement Mortgage out of [redacted] was a rewarding experienceI was in shambles when I first went to Movement due to some personal issues that I was going through on top of everything else I knew that God had a plan for meI've been in my home for sometime now and I must say I was well pleased with the processI did everything that was asked of me in a timely manner and it made the process much easierEven through transition they were there and I feel is still there should I need them in the futureI was treated with the upmost respect and it made me felt really good despite of what I went throughGreat customer service, [redacted] Movement Mortgage Rocks!!!! God is so good!

We have been working with our "loan officer" Ben A [redacted] for over weeks now and I have to say I have yet to meet someone who is more vague, disorganized and generally unhelpful than him We initially applied for a USDA loan which he indicated would be easy to obtain after looking at our information After submitting all the paperwork we suddenly got a rejection which we asked for a reason and were given a reason that was clearly inaccurate Despite trying multiple times to resolve the inaccuracy we eventually gave up as Ben stated, "I don't know what else to tell you" Just so that I am clear here we have documented proof that the reason given by this company is wrong He then proceeded to put us on a different mortgage product which to no surprise has greater fees and once again we submitted all of our required information He issued us a conditional approval and quoted us a rate of 3.375% for a year fixed which he sent to us in a disclosure day later we replied to him to proceed and the rate suddenly jumped up over 0.3% When asked for clarification, Ben stated, "that is the rate and I didn't check the disclosure before I sent it to you - it was wrong" WHAT?? We are only talking about a 300k mortgage so carelessness is perfectly ok I found Ben to be condescending, unwilling to clearly communicate his thought process nor his approach to getting us to the end goal of securing a good mortgage at a good price point After the many issues, mistakes, lack of correct responses we decided to move on and deal with another company STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE A LOT OF TIME AND GET FRUSTRATED BEYOND IMAGINATION

We are working with a great realor but they sent us to Movement Mortgage/Mrxxxxx out of xxxxx, AZWe were approved to go find a home and we submitted an offer and was acceptedWe paid the inspection fees and were on our way to put the earnest money down and received a call telling us not to pay the earnest money and come to his officeFound out there that we should of never been approved due to the fact that they could only pull up one credit score out of the three credit scores and that the pre approval letter should have never been sent to realtor but that Mr xxxxx had gone on vacation and let his assistant handle the situation which is not good business practiceThe decision should have not been made without Mr xxxxx approval, stated by himselfHe apologized for the inconvenience and stated this would of never happened if he had handled the application himselfSo now we look like fools, lost out on the home we wanted, and only have a short period of time until we are homeless because when the offer was accepted we put in our notice to move out of our current homeWe are scared, frightened and terrified of what the outcome will beLuckily the realty company is doing everything to make up for this huge mistakeI will NEVER say anything good about Movement Mortgage or MrxxxxxI am ashamed and humiliated that I trusted someone like that with my life and my childrens livesThe company and their employee are not professional or competant enough to do the job correctly

Being a first time home buyer you would think this would be amazing experience finding a homeBut it was nothing but stressWe had the WORST loan officer [redacted] She started off greatWe got approved extremely fast and was told that were completely underwritten before even starting our house searchWent house hunting, found a home and was ready to put in an offer and called her as soon as we knew it was the one to write up the paperwork and she took hours to get it doneThen we found out we got approved for the home and since we were told that we all ready underwritten our realtor was like you guys can close in a few weeks since everything's good to goBut every single day they asked for something new or something was missingI would try to get ahold of [redacted] through emails and phone and would never get a response back but she would always call my husband while at work to let him know informationIf I'm the one with all the free time and the one calling you for information wouldn't you call that person back? If anyone recommends you Movement mortgage run away!!!!

Movement Mortgage Took money out of my account after my loan was NOT approved. Had me to close my credit cards, and they knew that would affect my score tremendously. Had me to pull from my 401k that I now have to pay back. Have spent 3 times on house inspections, Hvac, and pest control all done 3 times . Money that I will never get back. They kept pulling , pulling, and pulling my credit - now not only is my credit report affected from the closing of the credit cards, but also dropped even more from all of the inquiries. Like they just could not stop setting me up for failure. Bottom line- still not in the house. I am seriously hurt on many levels....financially and emotionally. I cannot ever being to repair all this damage they have caused. What is worse management should have stepped in and made it work. They did not do nothing to fix or repair this mess. I will NEVER recommend this business to ANYBODY!! not even my worst enemy!

I obtained a mortgage with this company in xxxxx, Wa and worked with xxxxx and her staff I was working with another company/agent when I attended xxxxx mortgage classI was so impressed with the class and xxxxx that I switched companies to xxxxx and Movement MortgageBig mistakeAfter turning in all required documents (Investment info, Pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, etc.) I waited a week and didn't hear anything so I called the officeThey were confused and said I had only turned in half of the documents and were still missing some; after a while they figured out they had made folders for me each with different infoThis I could forgive, simple mistakeI was set up with a phone meeting with xxxxx where she went over my options, what she thought was best, and she said that since I was buying the home I was currently living in from my father that the contract should be very simple and that she could help me with it and I wouldn't need to get a lawyer- at this point they still needed to do the official credit pullI thought that sounded good and that she would be sending me details or an example of a contractThis never happened and when I called her office to inquire a week later I was told that I needed to get a contract to them and that they did not assist with thisOkso I get the m a contract and get a face to face appt with xxxxx(Everything that goes through this place takes a week so now it's been almost a month and interest rates are on the rise) Anxious to get things going I had asked if there's anything I need to do before the appt, any additional info they might need, and was told no, everything looks good, just need to talk shopAt my appointment with xxxxx she opens my folder and starts talking about things that we have never spoke of, turns out someone else's paperwork was in my folder (very organized office)Then she proceeded to stare at her computer screen for- no joke- minutes finishing up some stuff for my folder (why this hadn't been done previously is a mystery to me), then she asked if I had contacted a title company or an insurance companyOf course if they had told me to do this before the meeting I would have been more than happy to have all my ducks in a row, but I didn't, so I got to wait another week before things moved along Then I get an e-mail saying I need to resubmit a large amount of information because what they have is now outdated, ugh! The rest of it went fairly smoothly, signed the papers, happy to be done; although I did end up paying for the home inspection, the cost of which was supposed to come out of the loanThen I get a bill from the insurance company, I called both the insurance and the mortgage company to make sure that this would be paid from my escrow account, everything sounded goodThen my mortgage was sold before I had even made a payment, not a big deal, they said that might happenThen I get a past due notice from the insurance companyI called Movement- they can't make the payment because it's in transition (why they didn't make it before I don't know, bill was due mid July, official loan transfer final Sept 1st)Called the new company, they were very apologetic but can't access my escrow account until the transition was final, but gave me lots of info for my insurance company to get ahold of them and verify my loan was in transition Working with xxxxx and Movement mortgage had me in tears at many times and I did not feel well supported

This was the most unprofessional situation I've ever been through in my life1st off jamie h*** never once sat or talked with us and said ok this is what is required for you to be approved n this is what I need frim youWe were played along like puppetsWe were told numerous times that we were approvedWe even had chosen our home, had inspections done, paid our emd and dd feesEvery other day she needed more info more info more info and every time we complied and was told that we were goodWe had set a close date with attorney and everythingWell today we were told we were not approvedNow we have to start tje process over again and could possibly loose our shot at our homeI dont know if this us a movement mortgage problem or a Jamie H*** problem but I demand something be done and this officially looked intoThis is people's lives that she has messed with

Using this company has definitely been a roller coaster ride of emotionsIt was such an easy experience in the beginning, one of those "too good to be true" moments for a first time homeownerThen, a couple of days before closing, we had to scramble to restart the loan because of negligence to follow up with me for months on their endWhile I remained compliant throughout the entire process, the customer service was absolutely poor and was all done through email because my requests to discuss this matter over the phone were completely ignored Every day, they needed new documents from me after telling me the previous day that "that was all that they needed." It would be helpful if they would have some kind of checklist of documents that you need to completely close rather than, when you call to follow up, they have a new document for you to search through your archives to findIt took a few days before I could consistently speak to someone on the phone, who finally expressed some kind of sympathy for the obvious frustration and anxiety that I was feeling on my endThat partI did definitely appreciate.and that was from an assistant and not even my actual loan officer! We ended up closing a few days after the original closing date, thanks to that assistant, and I just wanted to share this experience with all of the first time home buyers out there to hopefully encourage them to make sure that if it seems too good to be true...it probably isI don't wish to have anything resolved or even really be reached out to about customer satisfaction by the business because my issue has been resolved for now and I have closed on my house...I just wanted to speak out on my experience and hope that it helps someone weigh out their options and really think before making a large decision such as this one

I have bought and sold a lot of houses and gone through the mortgage application process many times over the years and this is the first time I have felt moved to actually write a review In my experience, Movement Mortgage is absolutely the very best lender I have ever worked with The house I bought is in xxxxx, SC and there were issues with the seller's agent not doing her job, etc My Movement Load Officer was superb through it all, keeping me informed on a regular basis of progress and showing true concern for my wife and I as we dealt with the seller issues He made the actual mortgage application and approval process the most pleasant I ever experienced I cannot say enough good things about this company It was not just my load officer, but everyone I came in contact with from the company What a nice group of people and a real pleasure to do business with If you use anyone else, you are really missing out!

This company Movement Mortgage has not shown the ability to communicate with customers We have been over charged for services such as appraisals Told different things from different loan officers conserning gift lettersHave had three or four different closing dates as a result of their errors How likely am I to recommend this business is never I would never put anyone through the *** Movement pulls If you need to complain here is the link! ***

Worst experience I have ever hadThey lack communication like I have never seen before, and they leave everything until the last minuteI would say stay as far away, from this company and *** *** in particular, as possible.it is an absolute nightmare to work with themAlso I believe them to either be racist or sexistWhenever my wife would call them they would basically refuse to call her back and would instead call me while I was at workAnytime they decided to ask for any new documents it would be about right as they were getting ready to leave for the dayAs I stated before stay away!

Terribly disorganized, always trying to buy themselves time, string the customer along with empty promises, system always down, tell you every day you're closing yet you never do. Very frustrating and an emotional roller coaster. A lot of smoke and mirrors. Worked hard and diligently the whole way through but the right hand doesn't talk to the left and you'd think the underwriters were doing you a favor if they shot you in the face. I feel bad for the lending agent who represents the face of the company and ends up with egg on their face because of the disorganization of the rest of the company.

My wife and I just moved to North Carolina and are first time home buyers, we were nervous about purchasing a home to begin with and on top of living in a new state was making us even more nervous. [redacted] and his team were a real pleasure to work with. He made the mortgage process so easy and explained everything in true detail. If I had a question, which I had many, he was there to answer them through text, email or phone call. My wife and I were delighted at the speed, accuracy and thoroughness of [redacted] I highly recommend choosing [redacted] as your lender, I will be recommending him to family and friends.

The company put an advertising sign in my front yard, beside the "for sale" sign, without my permission, they didn't ask..
It was there for about 20 minutes before I noticed it. I did throw the sign away at that point.
They were trying to use my property to advertise their company without my permission, or the permission of my realtor.

I obtained a mortgage with this company in xxxxx, Wa and worked with xxxxx and her staff.
I was working with another company/agent when I attended xxxxx mortgage class. I was so impressed with the class and xxxxx that I switched companies to xxxxx and Movement Mortgage. Big mistake. After turning in all required documents (Investment info, Pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, etc.) I waited a week and didn't hear anything so I called the office. They were confused and said I had only turned in half of the documents and were still missing some; after a while they figured out they had made 2 folders for me each with different info. This I could forgive, simple mistake. I was set up with a phone meeting with xxxxx where she went over my options, what she thought was best, and she said that since I was buying the home I was currently living in from my father that the contract should be very simple and that she could help me with it and I wouldn't need to get a lawyer- at this point they still needed to do the official credit pull. I thought that sounded good and that she would be sending me details or an example of a contract. This never happened and when I called her office to inquire a week later I was told that I needed to get a contract to them and that they did not assist with this. Ok.. so I get the m a contract and get a face to face appt with xxxxx. (Everything that goes through this place takes a week so now it's been almost a month and interest rates are on the rise) Anxious to get things going I had asked if there's anything I need to do before the appt, any additional info they might need, and was told no, everything looks good, just need to talk shop. At my appointment with xxxxx she opens my folder and starts talking about things that we have never spoke of, turns out someone else's paperwork was in my folder (very organized office). Then she proceeded to stare at her computer screen for- no joke- 30 minutes finishing up some stuff for my folder (why this hadn't been done previously is a mystery to me), then she asked if I had contacted a title company or an insurance company. Of course if they had told me to do this before the meeting I would have been more than happy to have all my ducks in a row, but I didn't, so I got to wait another week before things moved along. Then I get an e-mail saying I need to resubmit a large amount of information because what they have is now outdated, ugh! The rest of it went fairly smoothly, signed the papers, happy to be done; although I did end up paying for the home inspection, the cost of which was supposed to come out of the loan. Then I get a bill from the insurance company, I called both the insurance and the mortgage company to make sure that this would be paid from my escrow account, everything sounded good. Then my mortgage was sold before I had even made a payment, not a big deal, they said that might happen. Then I get a past due notice from the insurance company. I called Movement- they can't make the payment because it's in transition (why they didn't make it before I don't know, bill was due mid July, official loan transfer final Sept 1st). Called the new company, they were very apologetic but can't access my escrow account until the transition was final, but gave me lots of info for my insurance company to get ahold of them and verify my loan was in transition.
Working with xxxxx and Movement mortgage had me in tears at many times and I did not feel well supported.

I found the people at Movement to be extremely professional and friendly. They bent over backwards to help me thru the entire (and difficult) mortgage process and I could not have asked for better service. xxxxx and xxxxx went well above and beyond.....

We have been working with our "loan officer" Ben A[redacted] for over 6 weeks now and I have to say I have yet to meet someone who is more vague, disorganized and generally unhelpful than him. We initially applied for a USDA loan which he indicated would be easy to obtain after looking at our information. After submitting all the paperwork we suddenly got a rejection which we asked for a reason and were given a reason that was clearly inaccurate. Despite trying multiple times to resolve the inaccuracy we eventually gave up as Ben stated, "I don't know what else to tell you". Just so that I am clear here we have documented proof that the reason given by this company is wrong. He then proceeded to put us on a different mortgage product which to no surprise has greater fees and once again we submitted all of our required information. He issued us a conditional approval and quoted us a rate of 3.375% for a 30 year fixed which he sent to us in a disclosure. 1 day later we replied to him to proceed and the rate suddenly jumped up over 0.3%. When asked for clarification, Ben stated, "that is the rate and I didn't check the disclosure before I sent it to you - it was wrong". WHAT??
