When I asked how in the world we would be unloading furniture at an apartment building in Cleveland, Ohio at midnight, the mover pretended he had phone trouble and hung up I called MovingAPT and the salesman who had originally been so accommodating and courteous now hung up on me Their QA person called and claimed my things would have to be put in storage and that they never schedule a delivery date the same day as the move! Then the MovingAPT original salesman called, claiming that he was on the phone with the movers who were now claiming that they were at my residence as we spoke! An obvious lie! I told him to tell his movers and his co-horts at MovingAPT they could just forget itthat I wanted my deposit back and that I was filing complaint against them Now, I was stranded without movers I had to get a U-Haul and thnakfully some kind neighbors offered to move my things onto the U-Haul and I ended up driving the U-Haul to Cleveland, Ohio myself the next day What a nightmare Plus I was out $for a rental car that I rented with the expectation that MoversAPT would arrive and move my things as promised They did refund my deposit but refused to refund the car rental cost Because they had told so many lies, I was concerned that they might try to revoke/reverse the refund of my deposit, so I have closed my account with the credit card company just in case In my opinion, this company is unscrupulous and should have the worst possible rating the Revdex.com has to offer I wish not wish on my worst enemy what I had to experience dealing with these liars Worst company ever
The crew from Moving Apt showed up on time on moving day and made everything ready to move within four hours of their arrival. It was like they emptied the apartment by some machine without any fault. No scratch on the wall, floor or anywhere else. The guys not only just loaded and moved our belongings but they assembled and maneuvered our furniture at our newly rented condo. They are just like heroes to me and my family. I would definitely recommend them.
I have to relocate across northern USA every few years for my job. My last move was a month ago. I hired Moving Apt because I can't deal with the stress of having to relocate on my own. I have to give credits to them- their work was impeccable. Everything was packed perfectly and loaded onto their shiny new vans. I understand that this company hasn't been in business for too long but they definitely are no novice. They provide services that are outstanding. All my valuables reached safely and on time. What else can you ask from a moving company?
The Sales Rap of Moving Apt was very conscientious, always staying in touch and dealing with issues as they arose. However, the local movers - when I 'hired' Moving APT, I didn't realize that I would have to deal with the sub-contracted moving company, or pay the drivers themselves in cash or postal money order. Yes, I understand that that is now the accepted business model for all long distance moving companies - I wish it weren't.

Before anything we contacted local movers and did a home estimate of $4000.00 with packing and moving everything and would deliver it within 5 days of pickup. We said to ourselves, "with that price, we can buy whole new furniture"
Before the move, we sold a lot of our furniture (dining table, bedroom set, sofa set, running machine, clothes, etc.)
Moving APT contacted me about the move and quoted me after the conversation on the phone of $1323.00.
The movers came 29th of December 2015 and stated that they need to wrap up the bed frames and cabinets. Also stated, items are larger than expected and said the price increase is to $3400.00
At this point, we are at shock! Who wouldn't be? And what can you possibly do with deposit made and we needed to move?
We took the hit of $3400. knowing that $600.00 dollars more, we could have had everything we owned with us without selling anything. I was pretty [redacted]!
We arrive in Dallas on the 1st of 2016. and Called them on the 5th of January 5th to see where our stuff was and when it's expected delivery. This is the email I wrote to Moving APT:
"Hi, we moved from va to plano texas. We have no clue when our stuff is arrving. We called apt and said we need to call the carrier and so I called the 888 number and I think it was [redacted] who answered said to call you to find out. And I told him that apt told me to call you. He said he will call me right back and now no one is answering the phone anymore. And apt, I believe [redacted] said not to call anymore regarding this matter. I am pretty p.o.ed right now and about to contact Revdex.com. Fix it now please"
That's right, they said STOP CONTACTING ME TO SEE WHERE THE TRUCK IS AND CONTACT THE CARRIER!... As a customer, all you can say is what the F?!
After I write that email, they were being on top of it.
So they call my 2nd contact on the contract, my sister. Mover stated "are you ready to receive your things, it will be there tomorrow (7th of January 2016) So, we waited and nothing. Finally get in touch with someone from APT on the 8th. I called them and [redacted] stated, "it will be coming sometime next week" WHAT!?!?!?!
We waited and waited (remind you, we are sleeping on the floor with limited clothes)
Contacted them and really no answer of when getting our things.
The things arrive 17th of January around noon time. The driver who just sat in the truck and did nothing while these poor high school kids (2) were moving all the things and had to tip them as they were working hard. Here is the part I get more [redacted] about this whole situation.
They broke one of my cabinet glass shelf which can't be replaced and has to be custom made. They had it still wrapped up and hid it in corner so we can't find it in time. They unwrapped everything and took everything but that! I wonder why!!!!! They lost the main part of my bed frame and I had to buy a whole new bed frame because of it! I AM SO [redacted]!

When I asked how in the world we would be unloading furniture at an apartment building in Cleveland, Ohio at midnight, the mover pretended he had phone trouble and hung up I called MovingAPT and the salesman who had originally been so accommodating and courteous now hung up on me Their QA person called and claimed my things would have to be put in storage and that they never schedule a delivery date the same day as the move! Then the MovingAPT original salesman called, claiming that he was on the phone with the movers who were now claiming that they were at my residence as we spoke! An obvious lie! I told him to tell his movers and his co-horts at MovingAPT they could just forget itthat I wanted my deposit back and that I was filing complaint against them Now, I was stranded without movers I had to get a U-Haul and thnakfully some kind neighbors offered to move my things onto the U-Haul and I ended up driving the U-Haul to Cleveland, Ohio myself the next day What a nightmare Plus I was out $for a rental car that I rented with the expectation that MoversAPT would arrive and move my things as promised They did refund my deposit but refused to refund the car rental cost Because they had told so many lies, I was concerned that they might try to revoke/reverse the refund of my deposit, so I have closed my account with the credit card company just in case In my opinion, this company is unscrupulous and should have the worst possible rating the Revdex.com has to offer I wish not wish on my worst enemy what I had to experience dealing with these liars Worst company ever
The crew from Moving Apt showed up on time on moving day and made everything ready to move within four hours of their arrival. It was like they emptied the apartment by some machine without any fault. No scratch on the wall, floor or anywhere else. The guys not only just loaded and moved our belongings but they assembled and maneuvered our furniture at our newly rented condo. They are just like heroes to me and my family. I would definitely recommend them.
I have to relocate across northern USA every few years for my job. My last move was a month ago. I hired Moving Apt because I can't deal with the stress of having to relocate on my own. I have to give credits to them- their work was impeccable. Everything was packed perfectly and loaded onto their shiny new vans. I understand that this company hasn't been in business for too long but they definitely are no novice. They provide services that are outstanding. All my valuables reached safely and on time. What else can you ask from a moving company?
The Sales Rap of Moving Apt was very conscientious, always staying in touch and dealing with issues as they arose. However, the local movers - when I 'hired' Moving APT, I didn't realize that I would have to deal with the sub-contracted moving company, or pay the drivers themselves in cash or postal money order. Yes, I understand that that is now the accepted business model for all long distance moving companies - I wish it weren't.

Quoted on the phone: $1323.00
Money paid to the company at the end: $3400.00
Before anything we contacted local movers and did a home estimate of $4000.00 with packing and moving everything and would deliver it within 5 days of pickup. We said to ourselves, "with that price, we can buy whole new furniture"
Before the move, we sold a lot of our furniture (dining table, bedroom set, sofa set, running machine, clothes, etc.)
Moving APT contacted me about the move and quoted me after the conversation on the phone of $1323.00.
The movers came 29th of December 2015 and stated that they need to wrap up the bed frames and cabinets. Also stated, items are larger than expected and said the price increase is to $3400.00
At this point, we are at shock! Who wouldn't be? And what can you possibly do with deposit made and we needed to move?
We took the hit of $3400. knowing that $600.00 dollars more, we could have had everything we owned with us without selling anything. I was pretty [redacted]!
We arrive in Dallas on the 1st of 2016. and Called them on the 5th of January 5th to see where our stuff was and when it's expected delivery. This is the email I wrote to Moving APT:
"Hi, we moved from va to plano texas. We have no clue when our stuff is arrving. We called apt and said we need to call the carrier and so I called the 888 number and I think it was [redacted] who answered said to call you to find out. And I told him that apt told me to call you. He said he will call me right back and now no one is answering the phone anymore. And apt, I believe [redacted] said not to call anymore regarding this matter. I am pretty p.o.ed right now and about to contact Revdex.com. Fix it now please"
That's right, they said STOP CONTACTING ME TO SEE WHERE THE TRUCK IS AND CONTACT THE CARRIER!... As a customer, all you can say is what the F?!
After I write that email, they were being on top of it.
So they call my 2nd contact on the contract, my sister. Mover stated "are you ready to receive your things, it will be there tomorrow (7th of January 2016) So, we waited and nothing. Finally get in touch with someone from APT on the 8th. I called them and [redacted] stated, "it will be coming sometime next week" WHAT!?!?!?!
We waited and waited (remind you, we are sleeping on the floor with limited clothes)
Contacted them and really no answer of when getting our things.
The things arrive 17th of January around noon time. The driver who just sat in the truck and did nothing while these poor high school kids (2) were moving all the things and had to tip them as they were working hard. Here is the part I get more [redacted] about this whole situation.
They broke one of my cabinet glass shelf which can't be replaced and has to be custom made. They had it still wrapped up and hid it in corner so we can't find it in time. They unwrapped everything and took everything but that! I wonder why!!!!! They lost the main part of my bed frame and I had to buy a whole new bed frame because of it! I AM SO [redacted]!
