I did NOT received ALL of my personal goods and what I received was over a month late!! APT promised to settle my claim in October for a larger than normal settlement. It didn't happen & I stopped hearing back when I stop posting on social media!
I have received nothing but grief from these legal robbers.
This was the worst moving company I have ever dealt with. They did not honor their word, their quote was a complete joke, and their booking agent conveniently left several major items off my moving list, causing a major spike in my moving expense when the moving company showed up. I spoke with "[redacted]" several times and she would never do anything to be helpful, and Ivette never returned any of my phone calls. Do not do business with this company, you have been warned.
The stress was too much before this move. But my instinct-alarm went off when I was on the phone with Moving Apt! Something told me these guys would be really good. The movers were very capable and friendly indeed. They packed up my whole apartment so fast. Not only were they fast, but they were thorough too. They finished the job so efficiently. They really were the break I needed while dealing with the stress of relocation. All my stuffs were delivered safely and I just couldn't be more thankful to these guys. I am so happy that I hired them.
I am glad that the guys from Moving Apt came on time and did not break anything. I always feared moving because it is unpredictable. Anything can go wrong. But I'm glad to see this company is professional and everyone who works here are highly efficient. The customer service was also a key factor here. They always maintained communication. Before the move, during the move, in the gap of the delivery, and also upon delivery, it was great to see their effort. I really appreciate the help.
Moving Apt is the WORST moving company EVER!!! We paid a deposit with them to do a partial pack, load, and deliver. They have changed the "guaranteed dates" several times telling us the carrier (not them) is to blame. As of right now (and this is the 3rd date they've given us) we were supposed to receive a call from the carrier (in this case supposedly Orange Van Lines) last night before they were going to show up this morning. The deal was that the they would call in the evening of either Tuesday night for a Wednesday morning load/pick-up or Wednesday evening for a Thursday load/pick-up. Today is Thursday, we received no phone call from anyone. I called Moving Apt to cancel and get our deposit back which they promised we could do. They are LIAR'S! They are holding our refund and won't give it back if we cancel even though they have not kept their guaranteed dates. They make excuse after excuse and hang up on you when you tell them their not doing their job!! They are fraudsters!!!!
I was not expecting this! Moving Apt estimated a really low price for my move to begin with. But they charged me even lower in the final bill. This move was just perfect in every way. The movers arrived early. They finished packing and loading all my belongings within a very short time. I couldn't believe what was happening. I figured a nasty surprise would be waiting for me in the final bill. I was even more surprised when they made the delivery on time and all my valuables were intact. Then they handed me the final bill and it was a good few dollars under the quote. I was just over the moon at that point!
After moving uncountable times, I guess I can call myself a moving expert. In the midst of many moving companies, I found this company to be quite different from others. First of all, they charged me very reasonably while they moved my things. Their crew showed up on time and they were very efficient. The whole packing and loading process was completed sincerely. They delivered all my things on time and in great condition. Moving Apt is nothing like the inefficient yet costly ones I had hired before.
This is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They don't return calls or emails, and no answers are ever given to questions that are posed, just shooed off the phone with a promise that "they are working on it" but nothing ever comes of it.
I now find myself dealing with being told I owe the movers additional money, even though I was guaranteed, in the contract I signed, that my price would not increase unless I added additional items or services, which I actually gave less items and added no additional services. Now my belongings are on the way and I am being told by the driver that they will not deliver until the balance is paid in full. I have been on the phone with Moving APT 3 times discussing this matter, and I was told they would "look into it" and I would receive a call "later that afternoon", which I did not. So I called back and was told it may take a few days to resolve.
Terrible company, do not live up to their word, or contract, and just one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a company.
In January 2014, I hired Moving APT to move my household from TN to CA. Although not as smooth as I had hoped, Moving APT has made restitution on the transaction, hence improving my overall experience. Thank you, Moving APT for making things RIGHT! I found this company to give me misleading information on my move. I knew the dates were between a three day radius but after I called concerning a question on box sizes and I had never used a mover before I was not called back and the actual moving company called and I was given less that a 24 hour notice of them coming. I had been told they move things by wright or cubic feet and had been told one price but when the movers came the price almost doubled and on top of that was told I was expected to pay the men a $250 cash tip. They also spoke in what I assume in Spanish and seemed to think it was funny that I was upset. They literally have given you no choice at that point. It was a bad experience especially for a widow who was doing this alone which they knew.
I didn't have the best of impressions of moving companies. But, for our last move we hired Moving Apt which was just amazing. They quoted very reasonably to start with. Their men maintained their schedules accurately. All four movers were very efficient and reliable. All our belongings were packed and loaded onto the vans in no time. They made the delivery right on the scheduled date. I checked the inventory and everything was in great condition. These guys really made me change my mind about movers.
No trouble at all! My boyfriend contacted the office via the website and we received a reply right away and even a follow-up which was great considering moving can be overwhelming. Fast and easy process and the rates were great. Blankets and plastic wrap used in process and caution was taken in handling my goods. No extra charge for stairs. I have moved several times and would consider this even more efficient as there were 4 people so it moved more quickly. The e-mails regarding the move were also a great. Overall, it was a perfect move.
This is the worse "moving company" that I have dealt with, I put the "" because they are not really a moving company, they are brokers so they would hire the cheapest companybthey can find to deal with your belongings. They give you a quote at the beginning and after they have everything loaded up in the truck the quote doubles, and there is nothing you can do but to pay them. After calling regarding the delivery date they were absolutely rude, interrumpting me and just cursing, extremely rude, but again nothing you can do because they have your stuff. After receiving my items (6 days late) ran an inventory and found out that I was missing items and tried to call them and only reapond I got "there is nothing we can do about it, so sorry". Horrible company, please DO NOT MAKE BUSINESS WITH THEM !
