This is untrueI had explained in great detail what I have and even said I think he might be underestimating my space neededHe gave me a cubic feet estimate based on that which I now know does not make sense for that many itemsThe company had over months to check or change anything but did not until the day of the move, when I was at work and my wife was home busy with our infantAt that time the company began moving the furniture and when more than half of the items were moved, then gave me a very high estimate I would never agree toI attempted to call but was given vague answersAt that point I had no choice but to pay an incredibly high moving cost

[Your Answer Here]The company still has not addressed any of the concerns that I have outlinedWhen the inventory property was measured and those measurements were provided to the company, and the inventory list remained identical at pick up, the price should not go up $300, especially when you have a contract that says it is binding upon the parties. If it only an estimate, then why have a contract at all? Just make up a price when you get to pick up. No addressing of the lack of follow through on the lost property, either. Not including the cost of the lost couch, but including the $to haul the couch, plus costs to replace missing property would run anywhere from $$to $500. Allowing cents per pound on my claim would be $239. I will meet the company in the middle at $and call it a day if they are willing to settle the claim. ***

They did call me and gave me a response, which was at least something, which is more than I have gotten so far To me, it was the first time I am somewhat encouraged that we may get a satisfactory conclusion to this at some point Unfortunately, this complaint will not get resolved though until we get a resolution from the insurance claim I submitted So unfortunately it will stay open until I hear from their insurance carrier If my boxes turn up between now and then, then we can close the complaint

We have already given teh customer 0ne thousands dollars off her moveAs a company we have lost money on her job

reviewed the business response to complaint ID *** and am confirming that I’m in contact with the General Manager, Charles S***, at Moving Pro’s and attempting to work out a resolution with regard to this issue. We have agreed to get back in touch next week to further discuss a possible resolution. We will call this customer by end of business today

The only reason their price went up is because customer originally had pieces on the inventory.On Pick up the inventory skyrocketed to over piecesIf the customer had not left off over items off the orginal quote.I can upload signed documents to confirm thisOn pick up we
had to do a revised written estimate and void out the orginal because customer had so much extra stuff

The discount was given to me only after I pointed out that they included additional items on my inventory list It was not a discount, but an adjustment to an overcharge The company was fraudulent by trying to force me to sign a revised estimate with "additional items" that were already on my quoted list There were NO ADDITIONAL items added from the quoted list In addition, please see the attached pictures of their packing job They have no business charging for a packing service.Thank you,***

We are assisting customer with insurance claims process

We have been working on trying to reach a resolution for this customerThe called us last min for a move like they stated and had not prepared a proper inventory list which is the cause of most of the customers issuesDue to access restrictions we did not want to want to pick up in a tractor
trailer nor based on the unorganized inventory list we did not need one for the size of the move. We do not quote or charge in pounds PERIOD There is a conversion ratio in the quote, as there is with any moving companies’ quote, for comparing cost when receiving several quotesSO I repeat we never quoted this customer nor any customer in weightMilitary focus on pounds in an indifferent statement because we are not the military, nor did the military hire us to do this moveThis customer signed a legal contract in cubic feetIn this agreement it only has cubic feetThere is no weight or pounds on it, nor did any employee tell her it was in weightAs far as us baiting and switching the customer that is purely speculationIn fact we feel it’s quite the other way aroundTheir original inventory was off by over itemsMeaning they added on a huge amount of inventory time of the pickupits why we came in a box truck and not a tractor trailerAs far as damages go, we are truly sorry for any damagesWe will walk the customer though and insurance claimAs far as a resolutionWe are willing to waive all profit on the jobWe are willing to refund the customer back a total of $The fact that there price went up was not our fault but we do not like itCarl, one of our managers has really worked extremely hard in order to make things rightIf customer would like the refund of $they are welcome to reach out to CarlAlso we can assist them with an insurance claim

We will look into this and provide an update on delivery

Customer inventory doubled and so did there space they took. We gave them several discounts. please file an insurance claim
