Took advantage of my wife!!!
My wife greeted the pushy salesman @ the door. Don't know how they were able to communicate, because my wife can't speak. Do to ALS.
Shes not on her A game, dealing with advanced stages of this disease!
She was taken advantage of!
I'm not going 2 write a novel on the details. However I will tell you, there reviews say it all!

Product they use does not work; monetary scam
We started service with Moxie Pest Control on August 4th of 2021. As of September 15th, 2021 they have been to my residence 4 times. Two of those times were scheduled (August 6th, and Sept 7th), and two I requested (August 9th and September 1st). They stated each time they treated the entire yard and paid special attention to obviously infested areas, which I can verify due to visually present granules. However, their product has not effected any of my insect infestations. All of the ant hills are still thriving, along with an abundance of wolf spiders and other species they say they can prevent. Upon calling to cancel they stated I had to pay the $139.64, as agreed upon for the service being provided for September, October, and November along with a $180 cancelation fee. Contacting a lawyer as their end of the agreement was not met and it is unjust that they requiring me pay almost $350 for a future service that I not only do not want but does not work.

Do NOT USE this outfit!
I was sold on their treatment for the Carpenter Bees, which were bad at the time. While they did "spray" some dust, it was not what I thought it would be. They have a lot of new employees who were training and it never seemed to flow well to me. The icing on the cake for me was them telling me they came to my house yesterday and I was home. No camera showed anyone there (my cameras pick up squirrels crossing the driveway). No paperwork was left either showing they were there. YOU WOULD THINK THAT EVERY EMPLOYEE WOULD LEAVE A RECEIPT AT THE DOOR TO SHOW THEY WERE THERE AND TAKE A PICTURE SHOWING A TIME STAMP AS WELL. While they were willing to set up a "free" warranty call to come out again, I had decided to cancel. I was on hold for about 25 minutes to get to someone; when I did, they kept pushing me to continue with them, even after I continuously told them I was done. I finally hung up and they charged me both the $124 for the service and $131 for cancelling! Avoid this place!

Moxie Pest Control does very good job, they make an appointment and call 30 minutes prior to arriving to complete the service. They are timely and courteous. They know how to get the job accomplished.

Stay away from moxie pest control.
Terrible service. Don’t fall for the free termite inspection. You will be told you need the service and it’s over $1,000.00. Their salesman was deceiving in what would be done with the standard service. We would call and be put on hold until your time reaches 30 minutes then you get disconnected. For days we tried to get them to come out and get rid of insects but our appointments were blown off or rescheduled. I feel their income is completely on the $200.00 cancellation fee. They have no consideration for their customers. Absolutely stay away from this company. They are expensive and rude. Call anyone else.

The owner is money hungry and rude. 0% customer service
My daughter developed health issues with chemicals that prevented us from finishing the last two treatments for the year on our yard. I called the manager/owner to explain and see if we could work something out for a service of all except the chemicals at a reduced rate or just cancel the contract two treatments early and was very rudely told NO. He gave me nothing but you are under contract and figure it out! I asked to put my service on hold until we could see where my daughters health issues lead. Moxie schedules you automatically without your permission at random. I called and told them not to come to my home. I did not want the poison anywhere near my home at this time. We left for vacation and two days later I got a notice they had done the full treatment front and back on my yard. I tried to call the company to once again tell them I no longer want them to ever come to my home again and the manager/owner never came to the line but put me on an endless hold. This company is horribly managed, and after looking at the other reviews needs to be addressed. I am filing a complaint with the health department for putting my daughter in danger and the BBB and anyone else that will listen. There are other great companies out there for this type of thing. Use one of them!

Robbers in town
I bought their pest control and termite services. I paid in full for termite services and pest was paid for first visit and supposed to pay on every visit. They promised me to clean all the webs outside and control all roaches, ants, mosquitoes and lots other insects inside and outside. I told them I have allergies from most of these insects. After their service nothing gone. Before next visit I called and told them I m not happy with your pest service and didn't want it anymore. The guy over the phone was rude and said if you discontinue you have to pay early termination fee of 300 dollars. I said why should I pay if it is not working. He put me on hold for some manager to talk with me but manager never came on the line for half an hour. I ended call and called back and left a message to call me back, but I never got a call back. My card on the file was not having enough money for next visit so was declined and they removed the termite system from my property for which I paid in full. As I did not got a call back so I thought to wait for next visit thinking maybe it works this time but I see roaches, spiders and mosquitoes all around and inside the house as well every day.

I told them I have allergies with insects and I am attaching pictures after 2 months of my legs which were bitten by mosquitoes and are not healed till today.

After this horrible experience I would suggest every one to not sign up with this I'll manner and negative professionall attitude company.

You don't get what you pay for
For insect control I signed up for a year of service. I got a discount on the first service so I only paid $70 for the first service which was supposed to be a great deal. However, they schedule another visit just 30 days later at the regular price of $129. Then l get two more visits at 90 day intervals for $129 each. Since it only takes 15 to 20 minutes for a treatment I decided that $129 for 20 minutes works is absurd. So I called to cancel the service. Then I get hit with a $165 penalty for canceling before the year is up. That makes a total of $492 for less than one hour of labor. The service is a total waste. They did get rid of my ants coming into the kitchen, but I can but a s..tload insect repellent for that price. I just ordered a set of 4 tires for my car for just a bit more.

Moxie started on 7/24/2019 for $99.00 I still had a bunch of ants so I called the office and the lady said the spray was just to draw the ants out. I talked to Ashlee the manager and said if I had known that I never would have hired them. I told her I might cancel the contract. In august moxie said my quarterly was due August 15,2019, When the serviceman came out I told him that the office could take the money out of my account. I told him I had as the office to call me to make sure I had the money in the account as I am on social security. I asked how long before the office would take out the money and he said 2 or 3 days. I waited 3 weeks then I called the office and the lady said I had to call them to authorize the payment. Another miscommunication. I called Ashlee and told her that was no way to run a business and said I was going to cancel the contract soon. Ashlee said She would call me and I told her no that I would call her. Yesterday I was on my way to get my tire on my car fixed when Ashlee called me and wanted my card number 9:30 am and I told her I paid $150.00 in August and I have 3 months left and Ashlee said no I don't so I hung up because I was at the tire store. At approx. 12:30 pm I called and talked to a man in the office told him I wanted to cancel the contract. He pulled my account up and said they already received payment at 9:40 am. I never authorized Ashlee to take any money out of my account. Today I looked at my contract and my next payment of $150.00 is do in November 2019. So I still have 3 months of service. I am going to file with the BBB. what a way to run a business and to take money out of some ones account without their authorization and handicapped to boot! Corona, Calif.

We had our first treatment today and *** was polite, friendly He explained everything to me and made sure I didn't have any questionsHe made sure I knew to call if we have any problems before our next visitWe are looking forward to Moxie returning next month to get started on the regular treatment schedule *** was the salesman and he also was polite and friendly It was not a hard sell, but a through overview of the services and the product

They roped us into a stupid contact and it costed us 250 for a one time 20 minute spray. The guy caught my wife at a bad time and tricked her into a contract.
Hate moxie pest control for the way they treated us. They are worst than the pests
Wish is was illegal to approach people at there house and trick them

We have used Moxie Pest Control for 2 years now. We had a definite roach problem when we started with them - in the garage and throughout the inside of our house. They decreases significantly after the first treatment, but were still present. We had them respray after a month or so which got rid of most of them. After six months, when the yard had been fully treated a couple of times, we no longer have roaches anywhere, inside or out. Whenever we have seen one, and it's usually just one or two random sitings, they have come back to spray at no charge and all is well again. [redacted] was just here today. He showed up with a smile, treated the whole inside again and was very pleasant in the process. We have been very satisfied with their service and results. I would definitely recommend them if you have pest problems.

I am rejecting this response because:  With all other dealings I have ever had, I one year contract means a one year contract.  Not a day over!!! I thought that was what I had.  It says "Service Agreement Schedule for one year".  I think it is a very, very underhanded and misleading practice by this company to do business this way.  I just want to register a complaint with the Revdex.com that I am not satisfied with this company.  I have sent them a written notice and me and my friends will never do business with them again.  And, by the way, I did not receive a call from them on 11/17.  If they called, they did not leave a message.

To Whom it may concern,On October 6, 2016, [redacted] signed a contract with our company that states " This agreement shall be continued for a minimum period of 1 Year. After the initial 1 year period, service will continue until cancelled with a 30 day Written Notice prior to the due date of your next...

Quarterly Service. If service is not canceled before the 30 day period, you will be responsible for the amount of the following Quarterly Service." We did not receive a Written Notice 30 days prior to the due date of the Quarterly Service and were unaware that she was wanting to cancel the service. We called and Left a Message on 11/17/2016 at 1:20pm letting her know that we would have a technician out her home on 11/19/2016 to service the exterior of the home. The Quarterly Services are for the exterior only unless the interior is requested by the home owner. We completed the Quarterly Service on the home and treated the full exterior on 11/19/2016. We would be happy to schedule a Free Retreat to have a technician come back out to complete the interior of the home if she feels that it is needed. ThanksMoxie Pest Control

I told them NOT to come unless you speak with me but they refused to listen to the customer and did whatever the [redacted] they wanted to do. the people who answer the phones don't have a clue young girls high school girls that are clueless.
