We order an FRP staircase from them on 2/20/20. Product FRP-MX-30-24.5-
24-H1, which is just a standard, non-custom unit. It was supposed to take a few weeks. It is now June. They are very, very hard to get a hold of. When I do get a hold of them, they state that it will be another couple weeks. I'm assuming that this is a scam. I have asked for my money back.

Ordered several platforms from the website in late Jan 2020, Still not delivered.
Product was ordered Mid Jan 2020, and promised in 6 weeks. We are past that and and cannot get customer service or even anyone to EVER answer the phone to explain. In my latest check, I haven't even gotten a response from a May 11 email, now May 15. And as of mid April they hadn't secured the material just yet.

Zero proactive skills to advise when we will get the order and absolutely NO way to get ahold of anyone as they never answer the phone.

Desired Outcome

Just need a commitment and or even ANY information as to when a 5 month old order for product pictured on their website will be delivered.

There is still no response to phone calls, they maintain a policy of NEVER once answering the phone. They have made NO effort to reach me as a result of this complaint. The phone provided in the response from the business does not even have voice mail it just rings. Still no response to email. Still nothing. As you can see the business didn't even respond to the Revdex.com complaint for about a month.

We sent it back, the claim has been submitted and accepted, and we are waiting on a re-delivery, should be on Monday. Production should slide right along easily as soon as they are received. Due to holidays, this was somehow missed by the manufacturer, we will issue a refund and send payment out.

Order not fulfilled and no response from the company.
We ordered a ladder and maintenance platform from MP Industries in September 2019, it's now January 2020 and the company is unresponsive with no product delivered 4 months later. I've called and emailed their business manager, who was very helpful and responsive until the check was cashed, since then there has been no response. She assured that the product was packed and ready for pickup from the shipping company, that is the last correspondence received from them back on 11/21/2019 and it is now 1/9/2020.

I would like my maintenance platform delivered.

This item is at our TX plant, which we are a distributor for. We are working to resolve this delay as the item was packaged and ready and then was damaged on the dock and had to be rebuilt. It's nearly ready again for shipping and will be be sinding out ASAP.

These are ready to ship and is a currently awaiting a truck. This is a fully custom stand and as it states on ALL our paperwork, customs are non-returnable, non-refundable. Custom builds cannot be resold.

I agree with everything posted in the other review. We ordered a platform in May 2019, for which we paid half of the payment. Over the course of a year (a year!), we made countless emails and phone calls to inquire about the status. Most of the time our queries went unanswered. When we did reach the company, we were given excuse after excuse: they moved warehouses, the manufacturer was having power issues, an employee had been fired, etc. On other occasions we were told, "It will be ready next week," which was false. Not until we said that we wanted a refund was our platform miraculously ready. It still took several weeks after that for them to actually ship the platform. Judging from the other complaints here for this company, this is their M.O.

Upon sending the platform, they immediately demanded payment and were rude about it. We're a school district, so payments are on Net 30 schedule. It's remarkable that after making us wait a full year for our platform, they immediately demand payment. I've read here that many customers have requested refunds. No wonder they wanted our money so quickly!

In sum, this is a terrible, unprofessional company with shady business practices. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

Paid for a product that has yet to be delivered. Promised my money back, but have yet to receive confirmation that the funds are being returned.
We paid for a ladder on 3/25/19. MP has missed every estimated delivery date, and promised to return our funds. They have not confirmed their return of our money. They NEVER answer their phones, and rarely (if ever) respond to emails. The lack of contact is something I've never seen in 40 years of business.

Refund provided today, with the design and engineering paid for, for the this CUSTOM PROTOTYPE stand, created and designed for this client, for his project only.

On all custom orders, the quotes detail, leads times may very with customs and being a prototype ladder, we also have detailed in all our documentation, customs are non-refundable, non-returnable, non-cancellable. We refunded everything but the design fee and supplied the designs to this customer.

I'm all for compromise, but compromise doesn't mean to steal less. I want, and deserve, a full refund.

The stories I get from this guy are precious. He has asked that I believe the "Designer" of the ladder was an independent contractor working for a company that is no longer in business. Therefor, he can't supply a real P.O. for the work. Also, his statement that he supplied us with drawings is absolutely false. I'm sure when I do get drawings they will be something off of the internet.

I did receive a partial payment of $3003, and I do appreciate that. However, I had clearly stated that this case wasn't closed until we received a FULL refund. He still owes me $352.00

As an aside, MR T. initially told me that the refund would be via a Credit card chargeback that I needed to request. When I reminded him that the payment was by ACH, he said he doesn't have records because they no longer uses his old credit card company.

The Revdex.com, Florida Attorney General, Maryland Attorney General, Federal Trade Commission, as well as the Florida Department of Business and Pro Regulations, Dept of Ag and Consumer Services, and the Pinellas County Consumer Protection agency are all investigating this company's practices.

The custom designs were done for this client, and we ONLY charged them for basic drawings, however we supplied them with full engineered drawings, with full and complete breakdown of fabrication details, assembly details and full parts cut sheets and every single detail for the manufacturing and fabrication of the work requested. The deal is closed, he received more than paid for and no further refund will be provided. Full engineering package has been delivered and this is now closed out.

I no longer wish to engage in this back and forth banter. I will accept my partial refund and move on with my useless drawings. The Attorney General's office talked to me directly and informed me that this company is well known to them and that I was lucky to get my money so quickly. Many haven't been so fortunate. I would advise anyone to steer clear of this group. PW Platforms is their supplier. They have several distributors. Ballymore is another manufacturing company you can use. (Someone at Ballymore told me they won't work with MP anyone)

PS. MP told me the reason for the delay was a fire. PW Platforms told me they indeed did have a fire...in January. The damage was confined to the paint bay and had no bearing on orders placed when my order was placed with MP (March 25). PW also said they have a 10 day - 2 week turn-around time.

Scam Alert. Took order, said had to be paid in full. Order never shipped. Will not return calls, claim "technology issues"
Ordered two clean room ladders, for $5,767.
They claimed first order had to be paid in full. Paid in February, sales order *** was given a lead time of 4-6 weeks. Now at 10 weeks they will not return calls and claim technology issues. Order was never fulfilled.

This vendor like many of the other complaints have not delivered what we bought from them. We have left countless messages, sent several emails and still have received nothing. We bought a step mobile aluminum step stand from them which was $1,033.00. We ordered this on February 14th and still have not received this stand. I received an email from Jaime and she stated that the step stand was manufactured at their Houston, TX location and that they had an electrical fire that damaged several orders. At this point I do not care about the other location we just want our money back. They do not handle business very well, nor do they update their customers as they should. They had no problem taking our money, but when we want updates on our order and want a FULL REFUND they are no where to be found! I'm just fed up. Now their phones aren't working (technical issues) as if they were answering the phone before that! We would just like a full refund. It's terrible that I have to report something like this to get a resolution, but this just isn't right and they shouldn't be allowed to do that and keep a company's money this way without us receiving what we ordered. Hopefully this helps!

I spoke with Ron on Monday, 4 March, in reference to the ladder ordered by *** on April 6, 18 and he directed me to you.

On April 6, 2018, *** ordered 1 each of item number *** Ladder *** 6 Step 72" High, based on a quote provided by MP Industries for 1 ladder at $1408 and a lead time of 4-5 weeks. This would have given us an EDD around May 4, 2018. The ladder wasn't completed on time, and My Special Orders Clerk began calling to check on the status of the order. Each time she called she was given a new EDD and the reason for the delay. May turned to June and June into July, when my Special Orders Clerk called MP Industries on a couple of occasions to cancel this order, on a couple of occasions speaking to Kyle and others ***. Every time she called to cancel they said they need to call her back. Due to the high priority needs for our customer to have this ladder, the customer sourced it from somewhere else in June (after about 7 weeks after the original EDD), because it was not delivered within reasonable time (having been given a 4-5 week lead time) and no immediate need for another ladder of this type. I called latter in July and spoke with someone who identified themselves as the office manager and took my POC information for the owner to call back. I never received a call. The next time we heard from anyone at MP Industries was in August to let us know they had finished manufacturing the ladder and it was being delivered. Then on August 17, 2018 the Ladder was delivered, refused, and returned because it was previously canceled. We were still charged and have not received a credit for the ladder.

I am requesting that *** is credited the refund for the ladder.

Failure to deliver item paid for
I paid $1,415.00 for a wall mounted egress ladder with delivery. Model # FLPTA-13-SP and my credit card was billed on Dec 17, 2018. I have requested info on the delivery and always get some rubbish replies without any dates or proof of it being in process.

MP Industries failed to refund my money in the amount of $1385.00 after I decided not to purchase one of their products.
I purchases a 7 Step Tool-n-Fold Safety Ladder on January 9th, 2019 online from MP Industries. I spoke with Tammy C. who said I could pay by check on direct bank transfer. I sent the money via bank transfer and then I received a paid receipt by email. Two days later on Jan 11th, I realized I did not need the ladder, so I called to cancel the order. Someone named Jenny answered and I asked for Tammy. I was told Tammy is no longer with the company but that she can help me. I explained what happened, she looked up the invoice and said they would send me a check in a couple of days and she would follow-up with a phone call to confirm delivery. I never received a check or a call. So, I called back and spoke with Ron who said Jenny was not around. I explained the situation to him and he said he would have her contact me and he took my cell number. No response by the next day so I called back and got Ron again. He now said he sen the my request up the management chain and was waiting to hear back and requested by phone number again. He never called back so I called a third time on Jan 18th and got Ron again. This time he said he spoke with Jenny who said all return checks will go out next Thursday, Jan 24th, and that she had sent me an email 2 days ago. I never received any email and I told him that. I asked to have the email resent to me and I gave him my email address again. I also said she could call me and that I would call back by noon if I do not hear from them. I called back and it keeps going to voice mail. I unable to get any resolution.

I'm the President and did not know Mr *** was having issues as I was out on Medical leave and the very fist time I heard of this was Jan 30th. I made sure my staff cut a check IMMEDIATELY for him and let him know right away this was done, in writing, provided a credit memo, copy of the printed and mailed check for refund, and sent him all the details IN WRITING. The refund check then went out promptly, the 31st. (Only because mail had already picked up the 30th). Check # 2574

We paid $2,700+ for stairs that were never delivered. Lied to, ignored by all staff when inquired about order. This is a SCAM company.
We ordered a set of stairs for a TDEC project approximately 5 months ago. The stairs were never delivered. We contacted MP approximately 4 months ago asking about the delay, and they lied about why it wasn't delivered. They have continued to lie to us for past four months. When they aren't busy lying, they have completely ignored us. No returned calls, no returned emails, just complete and utter disregard. On the times that we have been able to get a hold of them, they have told us that "there was a mixup in the manufacturing plant", but they refuse to provide the phone number to the manufacturing plant. We had a major issue with the manufacturing plant we had originally placed the order with, we began having tremendous issues with them when the new owner took over and the issues were persistent. We had paid for your order upfront with them and after having so many issues and US BEING LIED TO, we were forced to pull over $140k in orders and start legal proceedings against them. We have moved your order to another manufacturer, whom is getting your stairs build currently and we will have this ready to ship within less than 2 weeks, I believe. We have not lied by any knowledge of the team and I JUST got my FIRST email from *** TODAY asking to escalate this issue, NO OTHER EMAILS WERE EVER RECEIVED BY ME, from *** for answers.There is no scam, we HAVE NOT been stealing anyone's Money and every whos ever had an issue, is being or has been resolved. Thank you for our exaggeration and over judgement.

Failed to deliver products ordered and failed to deliver refund.
Ordered two scissors carts in July per PO XXXXXXXXX and paid $10,364 in advance which included $920 shipping fee. On 8-29-18, I received an email from Jaime M. stating parts were on back order and my items would ship on 9-4-18. More emails and phone calls with Tammy C. and no answers, only excuses. Finally she said MY ORDER HAD NEVER BEEN STARTED! She also said I might get them February 2019! I cancelled the order and asked for an immediate refund in the form of a check for the $10,364 which had already been paid. I received one email confirmation 10-4-18 that the amount of $10,364 was correct and a separate email stating they would issue a check. More phone calls and emails. 10-25-18 still no check. They do not answer my calls and do not respond to emails. Unbelievable that anyone is allowed to do business this way.

Ordered 2 custom 6 stem cantilever ladders and made a 50% deposit of $6,834. MP Industries did not deliver the ladder nor refund our deposit.
On 1/25/18 ordered 2 custom 6 stem aluminum side step cantilever ladder (MP item AL-CLXXXX-XXG) and paid of 50% deposit of $6834 on check #2183. On 1/29/18 MP confirmed receipt of check and stated items would ship week of 2/4/18. After numerous follow up emails and calls between 2/2/18 - 3/12/18, Michael T., President promised that the items were in the final assembly stage and would ship soon. On 3/13/18 received an email from Jamie M., Admin stating there was an accident in their shop and damaged our order. After numerous unanswered and unreturned phone calls, we cancelled the order on 3/26/18 and requested the refund of our deposit. On 3/26/18 Michael T. acknowledged cancellation of the order and stated our refund would be cut on the next check run. Although we made numerous email requests, we have not received the refund. On 6/8/18 Jamie M. even stated the check was mailed. On 8/15/18, Michael T. stated "Sorry about that, due to the production issues we saw, causing the refund, we were hit with a group of chargebacks all together making funds non-existent for a min. We are quickly recovering and paying off all refunds. We shouldn't be more than another week to two weeks MAX. I didn't want to send a "rubber" check out to you"

MPI was hit with a few chargebacks all at once due to an issue with one of our manufacturers and we are providing refunds as fast as possible. Everyone who had an issue is being taken care of properly, it's just taking more time than expected is all. We are working on it.

This response is unacceptable because MPI originally promised by August 31 stating that it would not be a problem to pay by that date. They have continuously made unfulfilled promises of payment for several months including comments that the check was mailed. This is just another delay tactic and definitely unacceptable.

This company is now doing everything they can now, simply to harass us with endless complaints, with many agencies and just doing what they can to disparage us. We received and deposited the refund check from MP Industries and are awaiting confirmation from the bank that the check cleared their bank. According to Bank of Hawaii this could take up to 10 business days. Once I received confirmation from the bank, I will notify Revdex.com.

Emailed MP Industries 06/21/2018 requesting tracking information and received an email reply: "I will check with production and let you know". Never received any email/telephone correspondence.
Sent emails again on 07/03/2018 and on 07/09/2018 along with numerous (10 plus) telephone calls requesting update on production. Never received any email/telephone correspondence.
To date I have spoken with 2 separate individuals: Tammy L. C. and Kyle G. each of them indicates they will call/email me with updates and neither one has followed through with contacting me since 07/05/2018 (these 2 emails did not contain updates, just excuses on why they cannot get production to reply to their requests)

I have now researched this company on the Revdex.com and have found the company to have numerous complaints for the same reason: credit card charged, and product never shipped. It is now 07/20/2018 and I have not received my product, nor have I received an updated completion date/shipping date from the vendor for this order.

Desired Outcome

At this time, I am seeking a refund of the entire purchase amount plus shipping in the amount of $2267.00 as this was prepaid on my company credit card on 06/05/2018.

As of 08/13/2018, there has not been any delivery of said item to our facility. In addition, there has not been any correspondence from the vendor containing any shipping/tracking information. The last correspondence from the vendor was an email received 07/31/2018 indicating they were "arranging shipping...and would be forwarding tracking number once it was picked up". Again, I have not received the product, nor have I received tracking details on its location.

The product was delivered, inspected and approved with acceptance. The client is still fraudulently refusing to pay us or stop his frivolous claim of non-receipt. We, MPI are now being scammed from this individual and we are going the legal route to recover funds. We too will make formal complaints against this fraudulent buyer and begin accruing fees for this theft of product.

Ordered a ladder in May and have never received material, 2 months later.
We ordered a ladder on May 14, 2018 and paid for it with a credit card at the time of order, *** Ship date on our quote was June 14th. I called June 27th to find out why we have not received our order and since then it's been 3 weeks of excuses and getting the run around from the same 3 employees. Unfortunately, even though there was a holiday and you "moved offices", business still goes on and does not excuse a month late on shipment! They confirmed it would ship last week on Wednesday and we would get a tracking # shortly. A week later and still nothing. I sent an email demanding a refund and they reassured me it would ship tomorrow and provided me a BOL# (which means nothing, as it's an internal #). I gave them 24 hour to remedy the situation and they have failed to do so. SCAM!

MP Industries Inc. has taken my money and failed to deliver product.
This complaint pertains to my order (Invoice *** for a custom 8-rung aluminum egress ladder, which was placed with MP Industries Inc. and paid in full on February 26, 2018. This order was scheduled to ship within 4 weeks.

Despite multiple promises of my order soon shipping and many different excuses for the delay (see attached emails), this order has not shipped as of July 16, 2018. In speaking with Ms. Tammy C., Office Manager at MP Industries Inc. during the week of June 4, 2018, I was informed that work on my order had not yet commenced, which is very disappointing and contrary to everything that I'd previously been told.

Accordingly, I am kindly requesting that work on this order be commenced immediately and that MP Industries waive all shipping costs for this order ($385.00 credit), or that our entire order be refunded ($1,033.00) and I be compensated an additional $1,000 for the inconvenience and costs that I have incurred as a result of MP Industries' inability to deliver on this order.

After being contacted by the Revdex.com, the vendor proceeded to complete and deliver our order in a timely manner.

Delivery of stand way past expected promise date, and no proof that the product is in production. Lack of communication from MP Industries.
Maintenance stand model #200-SP was placed on order and paid for in advance in full on 12/4/2017 using a MasterCard for the amount of $6270.00. Unit would not be built until payment in full was received by MP Industries. Ship date on invoice #2192 stated 4-5 weeks for delivery. Several emails during this timeline were sent to Michael T. to receive updates on our order which on 2-1-18 he replied saying it was two weeks from shipping. 3-5-2018 we requested pictures and have not heard back.3-20-18 he responded to an e mail saying on that he was having a production meeting and would let me know in two days, which never happened. I e mailed him after that and told him we were going to proceed with actions, and he responded saying he could refund the deposit if we needed to but it should ship in two weeks. I requested pictures and I also said that we paid more than the deposit we paid in full. I have not heard anything since 3-26-18 and have not seen any pictures. End.

Pictures of the stand and a guarantee ship date or a full refund to the credit card used.

As of 5-22-18, I have tried to communicate with Mr. T. about this stand, and have not heard any responses. I have tried via the phone and e mail with no response.
The last communication with Mr. T. was on April 25th 2018, and a two week delivery date was promised and so far we have not seen the stand. Mr. T. stated on 4-25-18 that he hired another vendor to build the stand for him and he did share the name of this company with me, however that company does not recognize our order.

The municipality I represent paid, in advance, $5,145 for a rolling staircase. After 7 months of waiting, we would like a full refund...
On 8/28/17, the municipality I represent paid $5,145 to Mp Industries for a custom rolling staircase that would allow our employees to perform work on equipment in a manner that satisfies OSHA regulations. The original lead time was 4 weeks. After not receiving the staircase, or any communication from MP Industries for approximately 8 weeks, we began trying to contact them. We were unable to receive anything more than a 2 automated email responses up until late February 2018. This companies lack of professionalism is borderline impressive. We were seriously considering the idea that we had been scammed up until we had read some of the other reviews on here... In the couple of phone conversations that were finally held in late February, we were promised that the product we ordered would be shipped in 2 to 2 1/2 weeks. We waited that amount of time, then contacted the company for an update. It was at that time that they told us they had no clue what had happened to the order, and would have to get back to us. They emailed us the next day on 3/23/18 giving us some spiel about personal complications and how they would now have to go through their Texas Branch in order to complete the order. We immediately requested a full refund due to their negligence of our needs as customers. They continue to make a new excuse every few weeks or so and we have had enough. They have not responded to our request for a refund or answered their phone in 11 days. Our money has been held for 7 months. Maintenance on very expensive equipment has been complicated and time consuming without this simple ladder to perform it.. We really do not want this company to have our business at this point, and would like our money returned, in full, as soon as possible.

Full, and immediate refund of $5,145 for invoice number 2120.
