My name is Robert B*** and I ordered my class ring for the *** ** *** *** *** The full name was on their site and I selected that when customizing the ring Balfour did not engrave on the side of the ring the name of my university in full as shown on the order form I learned of this when I called to check on the ring status to make sure they got it right, just as they advertised it would be written But instead the told me they had abbreviated the name of my university to something absurd that makes no sense, just a poor attempt to abbreviate it They said there wasn't enough room on the side of the ring to engrave the full name of the university But nowhere on the site did they mention that name was too long And they didn't even call me first to get my approval to abbreviate the name of the university, for I would have rejected that and cancelled the order Instead, they engraved the abbreviated name of the university without my permission, and then they refuse to cancel the order and start over and do it correctly, and they refuse to refund the over $I paid them They insist I buy this ring which they screwed up, and I told them to cancel the order and refund my money immediately They have not done so They still have my money and they are keeping the screwed up ring, so my next step is to contact my attorney and sue Balfour This is a very dishonest company, and I would advise everyone intending to buy a class ring to shop with Josten's instead, for they actually produce the ring you ordered and perfectly as you order it
