MS Services, also known as Mountain States Adjustment, is another debt collection agency who purchases a debt for cents on the dollar and quickly moves to sue for the original debtThey will absolutely violate Federal Fair Debt Collection Practice ActsBe careful and obtain legal counsel if you hear from them

I am not asking for MS Services, LLC (Mountain States Adjustment) to verify the debtI am asking that they send a copy of the payment agreement that was made between myself and MS Services, LLC (MSA)The payment and interest were determined by MS Services, LLC (MSA)I know this because it is not the terms set forth from the original contract with Bank of the WestI appreciate that MS Services will provide record of all payments made from to presentHowever, I also requested that they send me an amortization chart of how they have calculated monthly interest since

We first received Mr*** bill on 2/8/and sent him a notice with a
validation on 2/9/A second notice was mailed to Mr*** on 3/27/We
never received mail-return on either noticeMr*** did not reply to either
letters or attempt to make
contact with our companyOn 10/13/was that first
contact made by Mr*** he filed a dispute on his credit through E-oscar and
again on 3/17/where this time he claimed he paid the original creditorWe then
made contact with the original creditor to assure we were reporting the correct
information and at that point we wereNo payment had been made to us or the
original creditorMr*** finally attempted to contact our office on 3/31/he
said he would pay a settlement if we agreed to remove from his creditWe informed
him we could not do thatHe paid the original creditor and it was reported to us
4/10/We have since then updated his credit reporting as paid but are still
receiving disputes through E-oscar Mr*** is wanting this removed and we cannot do that the credit report is validFurthermore Mr*** has never requested validation from our company,

We received this account on 11/8/and sent several notices to Mr*** and had several conversations with Mr***Mr*** called into our office 4/2/saying this bill was paid we explained to him the original creditor had not reported the payment to us and that an e-mail would be sent to them to check the balance on the accountMr*** was trying to buy home and needed this taken care of right nowWe explained we had to get the information from the original creditor and would send the e-mail right awayMr*** called in again less than minutes later and demanded this be taken care of now explained we have to wait for creditor to respond he did not like that response and all he wanted to do is argue so after going round and round with Mr*** telling him the same thing the call was endedMr*** called in again threating to report us to Revdex.com because he is our client and wants this resolved nowAgain we tried to explain to him we had to wait for the original creditor to respond before we could do anything but that was not what he wanted to hear, eventually call was ended againIn less than one hour time Mr*** contacted our company times regarding this matterWe got a response from original creditor saying Mr*** had paid the bill so the account was noted and credit updatedMr*** talked to the manager and it was explained to him that we ask our people to not stay on the phone if it is just an argumentHe said he understoodAs a courtesy to Mr*** we have removed the collection from his credit as of September 10,

I recently began looking to purchase a home and so I pulled my credit report and score. There were 4 collection accounts listed. 3 of which were medical bills through a collection company called SMS in Mississippi. I called them and they were amazing ! Agreed to do payments until I could pay it off. Let me choose the amount. 1 of the accounts was invalid so they removed it once I informed them it was still listed. So once I got my tax refund I called and asked to pay it off the balance was $469. I asked if they could mail me a receipt and she said yes. I asked if once it cleared would they please remove the 2 items from my credit report and she said yes they would. So when I called this company I expected to be greeted and treated just as nice. I was seriously mistaken. So I called a month or more ago and requested payments and told her I would pay it off when I got my return she said "just call back then" so I was agreeable and did just that. So I called yesterday and told her I would like to have something sent to me saying we agreed on the payoff amount of $450 and she flat out said "no we can not do that" I was ummm ok and so I asked if once I paid it would they please remove it once again I got a flat out "no" and no other explanation. I remained nice the whole time . I asked her if it would fall off my report in 7 years from the date it was first reported and she said " well I cant say for sure but I would assume it would" I mean what kind of person does not know that when you work there? I asked her if she could please send me a receipt. She said she would mail me a letter saying it was paid but nothing pertaining to our agreement. I am happy to payoff a debt but I am not happy that this company denied me things that every other company is happy to do. It just is unethical and rude. I hope to never deal with these people ever again.

Ms. [redacted] may be confused but we have spoken to her once since we were
assigned her account by to original creditor 12/6/10. Per the notes on her account
she has made no attempt to contact us. Our phone number has not changed it is
[redacted]. Ms. [redacted] is welcome to contact us anytime to discuss this.

Ms. [redacted] account was assigned to us in December 2010. We spoke with her in December 2010 at which point she advised us she hasn't worked in a year and might be able to start making payments in the future. Her...

account was first credit reported by us in March 2011. We have never received a payment from Ms. [redacted]. As to the rest of her allegations, we simply have no idea what she is talking about.
If we can be of further help with this matter please let us know.

Ms. [redacted] is not being blocked from our company.   She
can contact us by telephone during normal business hours
(1-800-462-3111/307-266-3290) and we are more than happy to help assist Ms.
[redacted] with any issues or questions she may have, but the fact is we have not
spoken with her since 12/16/10 and at that time she told our company she was
out of work and might be able to start paying on this bill the following
month.   We received nothing and no other contact was
made by Ms. [redacted] until she filed a complaint with the Revdex.com.  We have now offered
three times to discuss this matter with Ms. [redacted] but she has chosen not to
contact our business.  Ms. [redacted] has
been sent several letters regarding this bill and has responded to none of
them.
The original complaint was about the credit reporting.  Collection accounts
remain seven years from the original delinquency date of the original account.  We received this account on 12/6/10 from our
client therefore this account will fall off of Ms. Sander’s credit sometime in
2017.  This account was not on her credit
before 2009 because it was not assigned to our office until 12/6/10; therefore
we could not have been on her credit in 2009.

We are not required to send another notice, we have sent all required notices and we didnt receive a mail-return on our notices.  If the debtor is confused about the legitimacy of our company then they should feel free to send the money they owe to the original creditor [redacted].

Thank you,

Mr. [redacted] has had an account here since August 2009.  We are...

required by the FDCPA to provide a
copy of the original agreement to validate the debt when asked to do so within
the first 30 days of contact.  Mr. [redacted]
made this request nearly five years past our obligation to do so.  The interest Mr. [redacted] is paying is part of
the original agreement he made with the creditor.  It is not anything we have added to his
account.  We will mail them a history of
all payments made since 2009.
If we can be of further help with this matter please let us
know.

Some of Ms. [redacted] story is accurate.  She did make payments on a collection account, there was interest being charged per Wyoming statute. The collector did not set up the payplan to account for the interest but this account and the other would both have reported on her credit bureau in any...

event since she didnt pay the accounts in full immediately.  Given that Ms.[redacted] needed pay arrangements on her collection accounts and that she did indeed have collection accounts,  and given our agreements with the collection bureau we cannot delete this from her credit report since that would not be an accurate protrayal of her credit history.  We can however supply her with a payment record of the payments she made to the collection agency.  Please let us know if she still needs this.
Thank you in advance.

Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, debt collectors may discuss a delinquent debt with the individual responsible for it and can also discuss the debt with the person’s spouse.  Therefore, the collector in question did not violate Mrs. [redacted] privacy by discussing her delinquent...

debt with Mr. [redacted].  We meant no disrespect towards Mrs. [redacted] and are unable to accommodate her request to satisfy her debt.  If Mrs. [redacted] is wanting her account paid she is going to have to call our office and make arrangements to pay the bill.

Received a phone call from the company and they said they were going to send a letter to the credit bureau stating that the bill was paid. And supposedly going to send me a letter as confirmation. I have disputed the collection on my credit report because mountain state says may it take them 90-120...

days for them to update my credit report..
