Munday Chevrolet Reviews (27)

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me Spoke with [redacted] and she explained the same information to me and I'm very satisfied with her response which was courteous and professional

Facts Mr [redacted] originally purchased a non-flex fuel truck after going through Munday's full sales process At all times, Mr [redacted] had access to the [redacted] window sticker detailing the specifications of the vehicle he purchased He did not analyze it even after taking the vehicle home Mr [redacted] subsequently returned to the dealership upset because he had "discovered" that vehicle was not flex fuel The best and only remedy, at that point, was to find a flex fuel vehicle he wanted We did that Scott and Mr [redacted] worked together to advance resolution of his concern When Munday Chevrolet was made aware of Mr [redacted] 's concern, many people including Miguel G***, Munday General Sales Manager, and Scott M [redacted] , Munday desk manager, apologized for the inconvenience and frustration Mr [redacted] experienced Conclusion We attempted to come to the most beneficial customer friendly terms we could design for Mr [redacted] However, he too must take some responsibility for accepting the contractual relationship to which he agreed as well as recognizing that the window sticker containing vehicle specifications was always displayed

The Fisher's original concern was corrected (cam actuator code alert), and they were happy with the repair until the check engine light reappeared The second code that came up on the Electronic Control Monitor "ECM" (the main computer on the vehicle) was for the A/C thermostat The "ECM" thinks the engine is overheating and shutting off the A/C This is a totally separate repair The original estimate of $300+ for the second repair was discounted $for the customer They were still dissatisfied with the cost so we were unable to complete that repair

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint I will not be intimidated by Munday Chevrolets attempt to insult meThe sales person failed to sale me a vehicle I asked for even by your own admissionMunday Chevrolet advertises on television they are “number in customer satisfaction Where is the satisfaction in my case?Munday Chevrolet has been trying not to accept the fact they did not give the customer service that they say they pride themselves withYes I did sign a contract with the dealership for the first truckMunday Chevrolet led me to believe that the vehicle was flex fuel and it was notMrH [redacted] a representative of Munday Chevrolet sold me a non flex fuel it was flex fuel FactThe only reason I was made aware the vehicle was not flex fuel was I put flex fuel in itThe check engine light came on and I took the vehicle to the service centerThe repair technician then informed me the vehicle was not flex fuelMunday Chevrolet has made it clear that they refuse to refund me my down payment What compensation does Munday Chevrolet want to extend to me for selling a vehicle I did not want? They made me trade a vehicle in to get the vehicle I asked for in the beginning Again there was negative equity in the current loanWhere is the accountability on Munday's Chevrolet for misleading a customer only to get a sell? Munday is not a dealership that is out to satisfy its customer yet they are attempting to bully me If it was an attempt to find a conclusion to what they have said was “miscommunication” on their part we would not be going back and forth with the Revdex.com The accountability is in Munday Chevrolet court If I was sold the correct vehicle in April we would not be at this pointAlso I had a refund do to me because of the trade in, which I have not receivedWithout the Revdex.com Munday Chevrolet would not have had any communication with meMunday did not want to lose money on the deal so they made me trade the non fuel truck to get a truck I asked for.The day I purchased the truck it was storming outside so I was unable to read ANY window sticker from the truckYet I trusted a representative of Munday Chevrolet to sell me a vehicle I specifically asked to purchase.Apologize yes I received a phone call offering me a tank of gas and a car washIs this “ the most beneficial customer friendly terms we could design for Mr [redacted] ”? This may not be important to Munday Chevrolet but it is extremely important to me Regards,

Although *** *** *** delivered mid***, it was ordered months before. Some of our usual processes like ordering window stickers have been negatively impacted due to the sale of the dealership from *** *** to Group mid-***. We have spoken to our manufacturing
rep at least three times just since the filing of *** ***' Revdex.com complaint and numerous times before. The rep is still researching securing the sticker, and we assure the Revdex.com as well as our customer that we'll continue a diligent effort to accomplish this for him

Miguel ***, General Sales Manager, has contacted our
Chevrolet Zone rep, to ascertain the feasibility of Mr*** ***
attending the Corvette driving school. The necessary paper process is not
complete, but Mr*** has been contacted and made aware of
our
efforts. Once we receive Chevrolet's stamp of approval or denial, we
will contact the Revdex.com as well as Mr***

Our finance manager handling Mr***' concern, Jackie ***, spoke with the customer's rephis Mother, *** ***, on 1/at 7:p.m. The customer was contacted at ***The
customer's concern was that she was
under the assumption that she had a refund due for turning her lease inThat
assumption stemmed from the paid in full letter that she received from her lienholderI
explained to her that nothing additional was added to the loanI also
explained to her that on her lease, Gap insurance wouldn’t have been an optionShe stated
that she understood, and she was only wanting someone to explain that to her
Jackie provided her my direct line to contact her should
she have any further questions. This morning when the complaint notification appeared at the dealership, Jackie, again, called her to make
sure that she fully understood and that she didn’t have any other questions
She apologized and said that she filed Revdex.com complaint before last night's conversationShe once again stated that she completely understood that
there wasn’t anything to cancel or any refunds to be issued. Jackie again provided
her direct line and asked her to call Jackie directly with any further concerns

Munday Chevrolet changed ownership the end of July about the time Mr. [redacted] purchased his vehicle.  That transition of ownership directly affected the turnaround of our customers' permanent plates and registrations due to the fact that the county (not Munday Chevrolet) needed to...

process everything in the interim.  Next week we will begin processing our customer plates again.  I spoke with our title clerk this morning.  She said Mr [redacted]'s plates can be picked up Wednesday evening after 5pm.  I called Mr. [redacted], and he was gracious to accept my apology for the delay.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.
I will not be intimidated by Munday Chevrolets attempt to insult me. The sales person failed to sale me a vehicle I asked for even by your own admission. Munday Chevrolet advertises on television they are “number 1 in customer satisfaction.  Where is the satisfaction in my case?Munday Chevrolet has been trying not to accept the fact they did not give the customer service that they say they pride themselves with. Yes I did sign a contract with the dealership for the first truck. Munday Chevrolet led me to believe that the vehicle was flex fuel and it was not. Mr. H[redacted] a representative of Munday Chevrolet sold me a non flex fuel it was flex fuel.  FactThe only reason I was made aware the vehicle was not flex fuel was I put flex fuel in it. The check engine light came on and I took the vehicle to the service center. The repair technician then informed me the vehicle was not flex fuel. Munday Chevrolet has made it clear that they refuse to refund me my down payment.  What compensation does Munday Chevrolet want to extend to me for selling a vehicle I did not want? They made me trade a vehicle in to get the vehicle I asked for in the beginning.   Again there was negative equity in the current loan. Where is the accountability on Munday's Chevrolet for misleading a customer only to get a sell? Munday is not a dealership that is out to satisfy its customer yet they are attempting to bully me.  If it was an attempt to find a conclusion to what they have said was  “miscommunication” on their part we would not be going back and forth with the Revdex.com.  The accountability is in Munday Chevrolet court  If I was sold the correct vehicle in April we would not be at this point. Also I had a refund do to me because of the trade in, which I have not received. Without the Revdex.com Munday Chevrolet would not have had any communication with me. Munday did not want to lose money on the deal so they made me trade the non fuel truck to get a truck I asked for.The day I purchased the truck it was storming outside so I was unable to read ANY window sticker from the truck. Yet I trusted a representative of Munday Chevrolet to sell me a vehicle I specifically asked to purchase.Apologize yes I received a phone call offering me a tank of gas and a car wash. Is this “ the most beneficial customer friendly terms we could design for Mr. [redacted]”? This may not be important to Munday Chevrolet but it is extremely important to me.
Regards,

Revdex.com:
This letter is to inform you that Munday Chevrolet has carried out to my satisfaction the resolution it proposed for my complaint, filed on 6/9/2016 and assigned ID [redacted].
Regards, Dear Revdex.com:      Mundy Chevrolet Has Not carried out the promise to pay the stated they would.  On or about July 16,2016, I contacted the Service Manager Luis A. and informed him that the funds he stated he would return were not obtained.  On tis same day, 7-16-16 he stated that he would look into the reason why it was not sent out and assure it be mailed immediately.  As of 7-23-2016, funds are still not obtained.  Therefore, closing the case file is Not my intent, due to reasons that Mundy Chevrolet and their Management Staff still portray the negative, untruthful, and uncaring character they had during my several visits to the location to obtain service.

The Fisher's original concern was corrected (cam actuator code alert), and
they were happy with the repair until the check engine light reappeared
. The second code that came up on the Electronic Control Monitor "ECM" (the main computer on the vehicle)  was for the A/C...

thermostat.
The "ECM" thinks the engine is overheating and shutting off the A/C.  This
is a totally separate repair.  The original estimate of $300+ for the
second repair was discounted $100 for the customer.  They were still
dissatisfied with the cost so we were unable to complete that repair.

Mr. [redacted]'s
concern has received middle and then, upper management attention.  Munday Chevrolet understands that Mr. [redacted] believed he was
buying a flex fuel vehicle.  Mr. H[redacted], his salesman, recalls the story differently:  Mr.
[redacted], originally,...

asked for a flex fuel vehicle.  Pricing was presented for a flex fuel truck; however,
the features and pricing on that truck were not commensurate with Mr. [redacted]'s
expectations so a different truck with different pricing was, in turn,
negotiated. Whenever or why the miscommunication occurred, it was certainly NOT
an intentional act of misrepresentation or fraud by the salesman or the
dealership... as is being described.
If practices
described by Mr. [redacted] occurred as a matter of plan, we think a bad reputation
would have evolved over time for Munday Chevrolet; and that reputation would be
evidenced by repeat occurrences.  There
are no other similar occurrences. Munday
Chevrolet has made every effort  to find
an amicable solution to this unfortunate dilemma. Mr. [redacted], has, however, shown no interest in
the alternate proposals offered by management.
At our last
meeting, Mr. [redacted] agreed to the terms and pricing on the contract for the
vehicle purchased.  He is now trying to
renegotiate the purchase by leveraging the Revdex.com.

I do apologize for the inconvenience and will gladly reimburse you for the initial diagnostic fee from the first visit. We did attempt to locate the leak on the last visit and was unable to find the source of where it is coming from. We did take care of the cost for the last diagnostic fee and...

parts. Thank you, Louis [redacted]

We received [redacted] window sticker from [redacted]. [redacted] contacted him, and he requested the sticker be mailed.  We will follow up at the end of the week to confirm his receipt.

We have attached a copy of Mr. [redacted]'s paper work.1. (2) signed  Car Fax  Reports. The Car Fax from the first day he looked at it on 08/28/2015 and from the date of purchase on 10/2/2016.Car Fax reports indicate there where no accidents.2. Buyers Guide marked AS IS Sales with a list of major defects that could occur with purchasing a used vehicle.  He signed this document on day of purchase.3. Delivery Receipt / Accessories Due  with nothing else due. He signed this document on day of purchase.4. Internal Repair Oder states nothing else owed or promised. He signed this document on day of purchase.5. A copy of his sales contract. He signed this document on day of purchase. The day Mr. [redacted] and his wife came in he was told he could purchase the items at dealer pricing plus shipping & sales tax.   He told us to give him the center console piece for free and he would call it even.   At that time I pulled the car fax reports and spoke with the General Manager.   We explained that we use Car Fax and we can only go by what it says at that time not on the future reports. I told him that the management was only willing to give him a discount.  He continued to push for items for free.  I informed at that time I would need to ask higher management for approvals on any items that are given away. Management would not agree to any items for free but would allow Mr. [redacted] to purchase accessories at discounted pricing.  He waited approximately a month to purchase the vehicle.  Then  3 months later after the purchase he returns demanding us to give him all the accessories and transform the car for free.Munday Chevrolet is still willing to extend the offer ( dealer pricing plus shipping & sales tax) to Mr. [redacted] until 12/30/2016 with the understanding nothing else is owed or promised.

Regards, Stephanie was suppose to contact me about getting the armrest fixed with the autobot logo which she never did. I have a concern where a salesperson can tell a consumer anything about a vehicle and the dealership not fix it. It did go throufh service yes but on the front driver caliper a part was missing which was notified multiple times to the salesperson which was finally fixed three months later. Their again involving the Transformer issue my wife and I were told it was the Transformer Edition. This is why I  bought the car which I later found out it was a lie. Stephanie even told my wife and I that they would put the autobot logo on the front panels. This means they would pass them off as the Transformer Edition. It is now Jan 28th 2016 and I am still waiting to hear about my console from Stephanie.
