Munz Corporation

Today 10/15/2013 [redacted] who works in the office from Morningside On The Green entered my apartment illegally and violated my privacy and my rights as a tenant. I work in Illinois and Wisconsin and when I am away in Illinois I make sure my son is house sitting for me. [redacted] entered my apartment and told my son and girlfriend to get out and proceeded to go through my personal items. My son told me she went through my clothes in my closet my dressers and other personal items. She patted down pockets to clothing in my closet. I called her on the phone to complain and she agreed that she did everything he said that she did. I told her she had no right going through my personal items, and she told me yes she does. And then told me that she was the owner. I asked her why did she not send me a notice or call me on the phone. She told me if my 13 year old granddaughter knew how to read maybe she would have seen the notice. She then proceeded to tell me that tenants were telling her I have people living in my apartment that are not on my lease. How would tenants know who is supposed to be on my lease unless she is breaking my privacy as a tenant. I don't talk to anyone in my building. I told her I do not know what she is talking about and she told me that "I seen your boyfriends clothes all in your closet, I went through everything and he is not suppose to live there." She then proceeded to say I needed to prove to her who stays there. My boyfriend is an over the road truck driver and I allow him to enter my apartment when he is in town. I have the right to have my son and my boyfriend visit me whenever I want. I am not an government assisted tenant. I pay cash to these people and she has the nerve to tell me whose clothes can be in my apartment and tell my guest to leave. Then she tells me to tell my son (who is African American) to bring his blond haired girlfriend to the office to see her so they could prove they were not selling a dishwasher. There was a dishwasher in front of the complex and they assumed my son and girlfriend was trying to sell it for some odd reason. She said that he had it in his car. My son drives a charger and there is no way he would put a dishwasher in his backseat let alone would it fit. She's telling me that she knows when I'm home and when I'm not home, and that I need to get boxes out of my living room. This lady is completely unbalance and I don't feel safe in my apartment and I don't know when she's entering my place. I'm going to also make a complaint against her with the attorney generals office. There are other complaints against her on the internet for being racist as well. She definitely needs to be fired and this situation needs to be looked into.

The staff and management at Morningside is very rude. You try to avoid them. I have heard other tenants complain about the staff and Management as well. They all should be replaced.
