During the follow-up, the doctor identified that the glasses I received were computer glasses, not the prescribed distance glasses. She directed another associate to place a new order for the correct lenses. Once again, I was told to wait two weeks for the updated glasses.
Frustrated by the serious errors and poor customer service, I asked to speak with the manager, Andrew. After waiting 15 minutes for him to come out of his office, he addressed the situation without offering an apology or taking accountability. Instead, he reiterated what the doctor had already explained, adding that he did not know why the mistake had occurred. This lack of professionalism and responsibility left me disappointed and questioning the level of care and organization at this location.
Overall, my experience was marked by poor communication, multiple errors, and unsatisfactory customer service. I hope My Eye Doctor takes steps to improve their processes and better train their staff to avoid situations like this in the future.
Got glasses, I live 1/2 hr away and work full time. Came in wrong. Scheduling , office hrs.. appt for recheck.. became a month or so later. Came in again wrong, prescription backwards. Again, scheduling, hrs,.. another month or so. I paid $300 and no glasses Of use! Finally I mailed back and asked for a refund. So disgusted with how it was all handled. Wouldn’t refund. I filed dispute with Discover. Drs office didn’t respond so I was charged. So wrong. I have emails showing I tried to rectify situation. I paid and never had glasses. Still don’t. I just went to office again. Had recheck, wanted to fix issue, nope. They wanted to charge me more money. Said it has been too long. Um yeah, I’ve tried. You screwed up twice. I work. Again asked for refund, I’m going elsewhere! To which I was told nope. Here’s your wrong glasses. Absolutely awful experience! I will tell everyone about this. Do not go there! I just want my $300! Keep your wrong glasses!
After two weeks no one called so I visited Dr Timko on a followup visit. I explained my problem and he had me wait in the waiting room while he found a manager. After a while another attendant came out and said a manager would call me later that date. It has been a week now and no call.
Would recommend you think twice before using them.
He is very professional - he even found the herpes in my eye and the torn retina.
Cindi and Theresa were uplifting and helpful - it is a pleasure to go there.
I do not necessarily like the lenses from your particular lab - they scratch too, too easily.
Thanks for a good appointment with fun and informative help from all.

Exact same experience in April 2023. My small town eye doctor retired and the family practice was bought by MrEyeDr. I was charged $670 for an eye exam and one pair of glasses ($1,372 before insurance)! My Aetna EOB came back and I saw the co-pay was $75 vs the $150 they charged me. I've been trying for weeks to reach someone who can fix this, but to no avail. It's one thing to pay top dollar if you are getting great service, but to pay top dollar and be overcharged for the copay and never be told about it and have to call five times to try to get it corrected, it's time to move on to a different company.
