Regarding the complaint file with your department we regret customer dissatisfaction regarding the transaction at our outfit. 

Our appliance shop always tries to help our customers as much as possible regarding purchase of used (2nd hand) appliances. 

All...

appliances are sold "as is" without any warranty or guarantee in any way, sign at the shop verify all sales are final and there is no return or refund. Almost all appliances get tested prior to sale and could be tested at our store when customer request prior to sale, customer has the option to do test appliance before purchase at all time. 

In some cases we have seen customers misuse or abuse appliance or mishandle heavy appliances by dropping it after purchase than return it as faulty item store have no way to find out what customer has done to the item or how they have been used. Customer brought back the washer and store gives the customer another one which got tested for them. Also customer checked the dryer and worked for them they had no issue but thinking we could just go back and change for another better one and store refuse to do so after 10 days usage. Store test the dryer and work with no problem, customer used it for a weeks as they indicated and there were no issue just like to get different model. 

As small shop we always try to help out customer the best we can and we regret any customer's dissatisfaction. 

Our gals are to help our customer, to get best product for least amount of money spent and best customer service as possible.

Customer purchase a stackable knowing store did not have any 110 and we inform him we do not have 110 rarely we come across one unit 110 voltage.

Having said that customer agreed to buy the 220 volt stackable only as in small unit 24" it would work.Customer agreed to take one unit since we had...

only 3 unit  small size and knowing sign at the store verify that all sales are non-refundable and final. Also he sign the sales agreement that verify same terms.

After delivery customer come back to store ask for 110 volt unit which we still do not have.

To help this customer store agreed if we come across any 110 unit we will be glad to change for him but still we do not have any refund.  Customer know store manager are not

electrician and if he would like to take picture or check all info about unit prior to purchase or bring his electrician to store,store will be very much accommodating. Unfortunately store

will change policy to refund on item sold and delivered due to customer lack of knowledge

about electrical system of his home. Customer offered to bring the unit back to store and get store credit he refused.

Even though we regret any discomfort and issue and wish to improve our service for all customers,we cannot deviate from our original agreement made with customer.

We have no record of this customer regarding consignment.

Customer purchase used fridge for the fraction of the price of new one which have been tested at the store. customer and family are different. Store always given benefit of doubt to customer and maintain couple days exchange policy for customer to test and if there is issue with item to exchange but not after almost 3 months. Even though store is not obligated to offer anything after 3 months but we try to help this customer, store offer 35% store credit for what customer paid upon return of the fridge and store credit could be used to purchase another one on or before 3/10/15 to be clear delivery is not free or not included.Just reminder again per our agreement Store offer store credit only (no cash refund) within limited time if item returned for exchange or store credit only. It seems like nothing were wrong with the fridge before something happened since customer did not return for exchange or store credit during allowable time given. I would have your name on the list for this offer so customer may just come in and bring fridge to purchase another one. Even though we regret any discomfort and issue and wish to improve our service for all customers, we cannot deviate from our original agreement made with customer.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I down loaded a copy of the owners manual to be on the safe side and made sure I SHOWED it to the tech who came out to check on it. for  that matter told him to tell the woman who insinuated I didn't know how to use it that I had one (this coming from a woman who doesn't know how to spell [redacted]).  It doesn't take a genius to run a damn washer.  This is their standard response and they are predators taking advantage of people who can't afford to buy new.
I didn't send back immediately because of the several reports I read in which the customer didn't get their PROPERTY OR THEIR MONEY. I googled their name and brought up  report after report of people they have stolen from. 
BRING MY MONEY AND PICK UP YOUR PROPERTY-
maybe 3 on your side will make another visit- so they can run away again.
I will be contacting the attorney general's office on this [redacted] lady- to make sure the reports get racked up and they get shut down and prosecuted! [redacted]

This business does the federal illegal practice of
BAIT AND SWITCH. Wife purchased three appliances, including a washer/dryer set. The set delivered was not the set purchased. Told delivery driver immediately. He acknowledged error. Called saleswoman immediately. She agreed to send replacements A.S.A.P. Texts/calls unanswered. Came into business X3 to get resolve. Was introduced to man on 8/31 named [redacted] as the owner, who asked for receipt to copy & pics of wrong set. Complied. Came back to business today & was told the "real" owner is a female named [redacted]. She returned call only to say that nothing is going to be done to fix their DISHONESTY. Will be following the store's own terms by filing Revdex.com complaint but that's only the beginning of their trouble for not delivering as purchased. Avoid-avoid-avoid this and their Mesa location. Same owner. BAIT AND SWITCH is illegal.

The statement provided by this highly unethical business is not surprisingly a collection of outright lies.  As stated in my complaint, I was very knowledgeable and specifically asked a salesperson, [redacted], if they had either a 110 Volt or 220 Volt 20 Amp

stackable washer and dryer because my electrician had previously explained

that the expenses to convert the wiring for a 220 Volt 30 Amp stackable

washer and dryer would run close to a $1,000.   There was no discussion regarding the size of their stackable washer and dryers because size was not an issue as the larger units would easily fit in my condos.  [redacted] spoke to an owner,

[redacted] who informed her that their smallest stackable washer and dryer

was 220 Volt 20 Amp.  Pete was wrong.  The stackable washer and dryer

was 220 Volt 30 Amp not 220 Volt 20 Amp.  This business clearly misrepresented the stackable washer and dryer and has vehemently refused to process a refund.  Their purchase contract requires arbitration and I request arbitration to resolve this matter.

Their record-keeping is as bad as their level of honesty.They also made a verbal contract to "make it right" if something wasn't working properly. They violated the verbal contract. Further, how do they expect the customer to fully review the operation of a machine in your business? It is not connected to power. Do they really expect people to bring in clothing or dishes? Be serious. They are crooks, plain and simple, in my opinion.I noticed they on local TV lately for being dishonest. Nice! The Owner and staff are extremely rude and do not provide accurate information or any degree of service.

This is the worst business I have every DONE business with! ALL they want is your money. They also tell you what you want to hear and do not follow through. BEWARE!! I am the most easy person to deal with, but they took advantage of me. After you make a deal for delivery and set everything up, they ask for more money for the delivery. They will say it is in the fine print. Well, that was not disclosed to me. I tried to cancel this transaction because of the del charge and of course they will say no refund. Read the fine print. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. THEIR PRICES GET YOU IN THE DOOR AND WATCH OUT, IF YOU DON'T READ THE FINE PRINT. THE PRICES ARE NOT GOING TO BE CHEAP AFTER ALL. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER

I responded to an ad for a used washer and dryer, I purchased the washer & dryer for $329.00 and they only took cash, the sales girl [redacted] ensured me the washer & dryer worked perfectly if not they had a 24 hour guarantee, when the units were delivered was the beginning of a really bad experience. I called the owner [redacted] 12 hours after the washer & dryer was delivered , 12 hours due to it not being delivered until 7PM and the store did not open until the next day at 10AM the washer did not work and the dryer had a gas leak. [redacted] the owner refused to do anything about the bad washer and dryer they sold me.

AKA Payless Appliances, I was delivered appliances that were 8 years older than I bought, not working, mud in washer tub, no plug on dryer yet they advertised they check all appliances.
I placed an ad on Craig's List telling my story asking others to contact me, I received over 120 responses in less than 2 months, the stories were almost identical to mine.
I contacted Attorney General on 3 occasions, all the TV stations ans any website I could find. I kept sending copies of the complaints I received from others to Attorney General, I thought no one was listening but on Saturday 12/19/15 I received a check from the AG's office for the full amount I had paid for the appliances-wow what a wonderful surprise. I received this money because the AG's office filed a lawsuit against them.
My goal was never to get my money back but instead to stop these people from stealing money from hard working people.

I took her at her word. When I caller her about it she assured me someone would be coming but they never did. She said nothing about the "as is" and was obviously making an exception in order to sell the stove, then did not honor her word.

The explanation provided is inaccurate and untrue.  I purchased this unit based on an ad on [redacted].  I never visited the store as I was instructed that it was not necessary.  I called the store and spoke to their customer service agent who guaranteed a 24 hour warranty of the unit and free delivery and installation.  I experienced extensive issues in paying electronically for this purchase and subsequently spoke to the owner, who again promised 24 hours with the unit to ensure it operated properly.  Additionally, the customer service representative never communicated that I would need to provide hoses and materials to hook up the unit.The delivery person communicated that he intended to provide assistance in hooking up the unit.  He was EXTREMELY unethical in the way he handled this transaction as was the entire team at this establishment.  I called immediately following the delivery man leaving my home about needing to return the unit as it caused my property damage and I was not able to utilize the 24 hour warranty window I was promised.  My request remains to have a full refund and to have the unit picked up immediately as this was not I was promised during any of my communication or interactions.  Finally, this organization has a history of these type of issues as can be found online.  I only wish I had looked them up prior to trusting them.I look for the help of the Revdex.com in resolving this issue as my next step will be to file with the courts.
