I am rejecting this response because: I got my own record removed after having to...

call several times and threaten legal action. I'm rejecting this because literally my entire family is on this site, as is my husbands. On the phone they admitted to buying my personal information. This is dangerous. I got texts at 1am telling me how the "holy spirit had told them to contact me" and they had my address because of these people. They don't care who they hurt. Someone is going to end up dead because of companies like these.

Please provide us with the direct URL link that has your information on it. And let us know which listing is your so we can remove that.

Please click this link to opt out the listing you would like to remove from our website.  [redacted]

Could you please reopen my complaints wth a[redacted]and [redacted]. Ihave seen my information and that of my relatives on both sites again.  I filed reports with the Revdex.com just a few months ago to remove this information after asking them repeatedly to remove it and following their formal process.  I would like each company to a) remove the information and b) provide a written letter addressed to myself confirming that the information will never again appear on their site. I cannot go through this process every 3 months!  Your help is greatly appreciated.  Many thanks in advance.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Thank you Mr.  [redacted]

When we click on the provided link we get the message "We did not find  match.' This information is removed.

I am rejecting this...

response because: The reason for the complaint is because although I opted-out from the myrelatives website, the URL/snippet ofmy  old address [redacted] is still below my old legal name [redacted]  in a [redacted] search.I am not in the list of names in the website, because I opted-out. I want the URL removed from below my name.  I do not need the API feed excuse your company has provided because other people search companies who have listed my address have been able to remove the URL.  Simply, imagine writing my name in it, and then simply remove the URL. There cannot have been another reason that it was below my name. I wouldn't have ever found it, if it were not below my name.  Noone is searching that hard for other places where there name might be listed. Here is the URL I want[redacted]The reason I refused your solution is as I said a question of your wording:  did you say send me the URL so I can remove it? No, you said, send me the URL so I can remove your name from our website.  My complaint should state remove the URL by myrelatives.com with my old address from below my name in a [redacted] search.

Please provide the url for any records that need to be removed.

I am rejecting this response because: My husband's information has not been removed.   [redacted]

When I google my name , the site [redacted] displays  my personal information , displays my...

age, and with my address along with several previous  addresses which I am afraid will allow fraud and identity theft so I want all information about me removed . They have have name as [redacted], and [redacted] and [redacted] with same first name and lastname along with my husband name Russell. Please remove all references . Regards Cindy

We've spoken to the customer on the phone and have gone back and forth via these messages. We cannot remove the address that comes up on the [redacted] search. The most we can do is remove the name from our website, which we have done. However we cannot remove the link that comes up when they run their name on a [redacted] search. This is because that address that is listed still goes to live results, her name is not on that list of live results because we have removed her from our website, however other people are linked via public record to that address.   We are told by [redacted] that every time the name in question here is typed in they are keeping that link alive that ties to the address they want removed. The solution is to not search the name for a few weeks, clear your cache , give it some time to dissociate on the web. Unfortunately, there is nothing else we can do to have this removed other than that solution.

When you remove your information from our public records data base there is not a guarantee that it will not show up again. It may return again if you resubmit any information to public records. Please provide us with the URL link that shows your record on our website.

Review: My private information has appeared on many types of these websites without my consent. I have sent emails to the numerous agencies asking for my information to be immediately removed. All of the sites have kindly agreed apart from Myrelatives.com. Their policy states I must send a letter which I did, by email. They responded by saying it must be sent by post. This is a highly unreasonable request given the immediacy of the request and the existence of modern day technology such as the Internet-they are a website after all! Moreover, I am currently posted in the United Kingdom and to post a letter to the US is simply ridiculous. As previously stated their privacy policy is outdated and not in line with any of its contemporaries and needs to be remediated. Further to this, they chose to ignore my emails. Copies of all correspondence will be provided to you. This is customer service at an all time low. They cannot freely use people's private information for their own financial benefit and then make it exceedingly difficult for you to take it down especially since your consent was not given in the first place. Your help is greatly appreciated in this matter. Thank you.Desired Settlement: I would appreciate the following action to be taken. Firstly, the removal of all of my information and that of my family permanently from their site, the completion of which should be evidenced in a letter. Second, their privacy policy should be amended to make it easier for consumers to control their private information. Therefore, immediate requests for information to be removed should be honoured with a simple email outlining the request. Thank you.

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: I just checked and my information is still on there! As is my mothers ([redacted]) and my fathers ([redacted]). Their response was also short and unapologetic. And what are they going to do about their appalling privacy policy? Moreover, I want written confirmation that no information of mine or my family's including my sister [redacted] will ever appear on their site or on any of their affiliate sites. I believe they are also in breach since my request has been outstanding for over 30 days. What remedies do they provide for this breach of policy? Thank you.
