I have a small investment firm I prepare tax returns for many of my clients; however this is a small number of returns 20-per year This software is better (not perfect) than the one I used before and half the price When I do have a problem or issue the staff responses quickly and politely I was having so many problems in with my previous vendor that I changed to mytaxprepoffice in the middle of the tax season

At last I found a program that satisfies my needs, I recommend it if you have more than one office or offer services at home

This program had some great features The federal was well designed The state programs had many issues that needed to be resolved These issues were extremely time consuming to deal withDo not recommend this program unless all these issues are resolved

The software is good for beginners , it's pretty easy to input a return However the field will miscalculate at times causing you to do an override which can become a headacheWhen we first started out with the software the company did mislead us by promising we can file in every state which turned out to be and caused us to later have to purchase a second software mid tax season Eventually they were approved in most states , but again the miscalculations carried over to the state return and for us if we didn't catch it right then we paid for it later by our clients and the state dept
We understand how a startup works so I'm okay with the kinks , our company will try them again at least through the training sessions and if all is well we will go live for the second year with the software

I have been using this tax service program for years nowIt is easy to use and the customer service is the best..they will help you in all avenues from the program itself to tax questions to clarify a tax lawi absolutely love it

Despite being a "young" company, they have made dramatic upgrades each year to the software and its capabilitiesTheir tech support works hard with us to make sure that our problems are resolved with professional care and understand that time is importantI can't wait to see the improvements as they come for next year!

I am happy with this company The price is right and the help available is pretty good There are things I wish for in the program, but maybe they will happen in the future I would like to view the return without having to download and save I get too many versions on my computer I would like the return to print in sequential order, and they need to correct some spelling errors (Chile, instead of Chili)
