I am rejecting this response unless they agree to give me the dollars that I was charged for the bulbs and the dollars that was charged for labor but thats as low of an offer I am willing to take

I would be willing to repaint the quarter panel on the car to get the match correct Please forward me the pictures so I can see what is going on with the exhaust I could not see the pictures

I am rejecting this response because [redacted] *** I have read over the response and it is laughable to say the least of some of the responses they had The first thing I saw: “ [redacted] told [redacted] that if the insurance company would pay for the cost of the exhaust we could then repair his exhaust and save the deductibleIf the insurance company would not we could only cover a small amount of the deductible” I was NOT told such a thing, and had I been told that I would not have been arguing with them over replacing the exhaust that was repaired when they quoted me replacementWhen I was quoted the repair I was told that the exhaust was damaged and needed to be replacedOther shops told me either it was not damaged or they would heat it and bend it backThe MAIN REASON I took my car to NAC was because they told me the exhaust would be replaced since it was damaged, and heating it up would create a weak spot that would fail, and also a spot that would rust quicker than the rest NAC was not in my area, I had other shops five minutes to ten minutes away from my house but since I was told they would recommend replacement of the exhaust, not repairThey sent the quote to my insurance company indicating replacement was needed, which they did not do Yes, when I called in complaining about the exhaust and scratch I was told about the tradeoff that they said I was told aboutI was not told about a trade off and wanted my car fixed rightI was under the impression with their Revdex.com rating they were going to do so, combined with the zero complaint ratingApparently I was wrong “I ordered a nice exhaust with stainless steel tipsThere were much cheaper options but I did not want [redacted] to have a bad experienceI did let [redacted] know I ordered a very nice aftermarket exhaust with stainless steel tips so there was no surprise” The nice exhaust was a pair of cheap mufflers that required adapters to fit the ORIGINAL exhaust that is still on the car and STILL DAMAGED AND NOT FITTING RIGHT! I was told they ordered the replacement exhaust, but none the less it was notIncluded are pictures to show the exhaust system was not replacedThe exhaust system that was suppose to have been replaced to begin with according to the quote, which they were paid for by my insurance company “The exhaust looked and sounded great.” The car is so loud I can start it using my remote starter at my office building, and hear it on the parking garageWhile the exhaust was starting to get louder after the wreck I couldn’t hear it when I started it with the remote starter, and inside the car it sounds horrible as wellThe mufflers don’t even sit right on the carThe right one is lower than the left, and neither look like they fit as they would with original equipment replacements With the exhaust being so poorly replaced I’m now forced to take the car to an exhaust shop to get it done once I have the money, or do it myself once I have the moneyPretty ridiculous I have to replace a part that was suppose to have been replaced not once but twice by taking my car to the shop both times “The scratches were repaired as agreed as well [redacted] dropped the car off on a Friday at 5pm and we completed the job in hours which would have normally been a three day repairIt is sometimes difficult to match colors 100% because manufacturers have many variables.” I understand that paint can’t be exactly matched, and yet the scratch repair area is much lighter than even the bumper which they replaced and paintedThe scratch itself was the size of a quarter, and the repair area is about 12-16” square so it really stands outHad I known the repair would have been like that I would have told them forget it and lived with it until I could get a bottle of touch upAt least that wouldn’t have been noticeable from halfway from a store parking lot I don’t like to complain or file complaints about businesses, but when I feel I’m wronged I am forced to do soThey wronged me in this case, and as it stands the only one that’s having to pay for it is meThey did not complete the work, nor did they tell me they would cover the deductible, only if the insurance company agreed to their priceHad I been told that I would have told them to keep the deductible, as I wanted the car back to the way it was before it was rear ended They say it was a small repairI’m sorry but in my opinion $is not a small repair, and it’s my carI just wanted the car fixed right, which it was not I still maintain they need to refund my insurance company the cost of the exhaust since they did not replace it but installed mufflers only on a damaged exhaust [redacted] Manter

The cluster and the cam sensors are items we would have not touched or done anything with in the coarse of body work We would agree to assist with the charges related to the light bulbs because we worked on this portion of the car Note insurance companies will not pay for items like the gauge clusters or cam sensors which are service items and especially this long after the wreck These are industry standard practices in the auto body business

[redacted] meet with [redacted] on August 16th to do his initial estimate He wrote the estimate for the repair the same way we would with any other car that comes in He explained to [redacted] that we could save his deductible based on how much the insurance company is willing to cover The exhaust was bent in the accident along with his rear bumper cover/absorber was damaged [redacted] told [redacted] that if the insurance company would pay for the cost of the exhaust we could then repair his exhaust and save the deductible If the insurance company would not we could only cover a small amount of the deductible The insurance company ended up covering the cost of the exhaust This estimate was heavily based on parts so this would be the only way to save the deductible So at the point we started the repairs [redacted] explained to me the conversation he had with [redacted] and that the exhaust was how the deductible was being saved and the exhaust repair was the agreement I took the car over to an exhaust shop to have the exhaust repaired It was bent not broken at any part in the system The exhaust shop said the exhaust was not damaged badly and I ok’d the repair After that the car repaired according to the insurance estimate A few days after the repair [redacted] called in and started complaining that the exhaust was not replaced and about scratches on the quarter panel I was shocked and went over the conversation that [redacted] had explaining to him what the tradeoff was to save the deductible At that point, [redacted] starting saying the insurance paid for it and I want it done regardless and he did not agree to that I talked it over with [redacted] and told him even though the agreement was made, in good faith I would agree to getting him an aftermarket exhaust and repair the scratches even if they were not from the wreck I ordered a nice exhaust with stainless steel tips There were much cheaper options but I did not want [redacted] to have a bad experience I did let [redacted] know I ordered a very nice aftermarket exhaust with stainless steel tips so there was no surprise We agreed to bring car back in to have the scratches repaired and get the exhaust installed Again I sent the exhaust out to an exhaust shop that has been in business over years The exhaust looked and sounded great The scratches were repaired as agreed as well [redacted] dropped the car off on a Friday at 5pm and we completed the job in hours which would have normally been a three day repair It is sometimes difficult to match colors 100% because manufacturers have many variables As far as the exhaust goes I am not sure what area the issue is in The mufflers and tips took the impact We cannot save the deductible replace the exhaust and then refund the money as well We did not just come up the idea without talking with customer On smaller repairs largely based on parts, it is impossible to cover deductibles and not trade off part of the repair

I am rejecting this response because: they have addressed the issue with the paint but have not said about the exhaustBefore I agree to the settlement I need to know what they are willing to do about the exhaust since it was not completed as they stated and is getting louderThat is the big part of the issue since the car being with a damaged exhaust is not pre - accident If you need the pics to show them I have included them as well

I was involved in an accident when another driver failed to properly yield at a stop sign, and made a faulty left hand turn right into my path on main street that is always busy while I was driving 35mph, and was able to brake a few seconds before impact which means I hit on impact going approximately 30mphThe majority of damage was to my 9-month old car, and to myself since my airbag deployed, and I was the one who took the full force of the impact of the collisionThe collision caused front-end and side damage to my vehicleThis was the first serious accident I had ever been involved inI was in a complete state of shock and was completely upset and was in instant pain from my accidentI filed my claim with my insurance company within an hour of my accidentAfter speaking with my claims adjuster two hours after my accident I was very upset, distraught, confused, and panicked at times not knowing what to doMy insurance had informed me I did not have rental car coverage, and kept telling me once they found out the other driver's insurance information I could file a claim for a rental car against his insurance if they accepted fault but that didn't mean it would happenI was completely distraught because the accident was his fault and he was cited for his violationSoon after my car with my claims adjuster I received a call from a woman named Debbie who said she worked with my insurance company with a shop named National Automobile Club which is a reliable name and in my state of confusion I knew my employer used National Automobile Club for roadside assistance so I assumed it was the same companyThis Debbie woman stated that she had a car that I could use until the insurance gave me a rental car and even if they didn't sort that out it would be okayShe acted like she cared about me and was being much kinder than my insurance company had been to meShe was completely playing into my psychological state at the timeI had no idea the process of collision repair and they knew itDebbie knew so much information about me I thought she had to know my insurance agency, or how else did she have my phone number and know all about my car and know I was the victim and show me so much kindnessLittle did I know NAC Body and Collision is a predatory shop that preyed on victims such as myself that knew little about collision repair, but had good insurance that was going to pay for large claimsMy insurance wrote a claim estimate for about $9,or $9,minus my $collision deducible, and wrote for mostly OEM partsNAC Body & Collision has their customers write what they claim is an authorization for repair which is how I understood and what I readThey later added to the authorization wording that allowed them to put whatever parts they saw fit on my car without my consent or my insurance consentWhen my car was returned to me it started to become very apparent to me that nothing fit right on my car or looked rightThe owner of NAC made every excuse and had a story for everything since he's a career criminalA list of his offenses are viewable to public in Hamilton, Ohio on their municipal court websiteWhen I confront the owner that I knew he used cheap aftermarket parts on my nine-month old vehicle, at first he continued to deny and blame my insurance company until he bought out a paper that he had handwriting all over which meant he wrote on the authorization after it was originally and legally signed which is illegal to write on legal documents after they have been signedHe finally admitted to putting all aftermarket parts on my vehicle and pocketing what the insurance company had paid him for OEM parts and for high grade NON-OEM partsOf course, he bought low end aftermarket, so he could make a profit off the $9,my insurance company paid himHe admitted to me and in front of a witness that he has done the same thing to every customer that has ever stepped foot in his door and said that’s why he moved his business to Columbus, because according to him it’s even easier to scam individuals in central Ohio than in other areas in OhioHe committed insurance fraud, and he excuses his behavior, because he thinks he's getting one over on Big CorpAmerica insuranceWhite collar crime is not a victim less crime, and I am the victim that he preyed on after I already was the victim in a traumatizing car accidentHe continued my pain and suffering from my accident, because I work hard for the things I pay for, unlike the scamming owners and employees of NAC, which include my brand new car (which was my first brand new car), and my insurance company wanted my car fixed which meant to its pre-accident state not the state he put it inI do not want someone else to go through what I've had to deal with for monthsThere have been similar complaints as mine on Revdex.com,” and to the Ohio Attorney GeneralI unfortunately saw those complaints too late, because there are positive reviews online about the business written by naive “victims” and friends and family members of NAC Auto Body & CollisionIf I didn't have an eye for detail which honestly it wasn't difficult to see the [redacted] poor quality of their work at allAnd if the owner of NAC hadn't become so defensive, unprofessional, childish, piggish, try to intimidate me, and look like a common low-grade drug addict I wouldn't have started asking more and more questions, and looking more and more into their work, and they just may have gotten away with what they didA reliable, genuine, honest, and truly trained collision repair shop would never have returned a vehicle in the state they did, committed insurance fraud, or conducted themselves in the manner they didBecause of the distress they caused me I actually returned my vehicle, and had to pay higher for a newer safer car, because I did not and could not trust the quality of NAC Auto Body & Collision repair work or the parts they used since they were not the parts they were supposed to be used, because they had the highest or higher safety standardsNot knowing where my parts came from caused me a lot of distress since I had already been in a collision, and safety features on my car had saved me from more serious injuryIt also caused me great distress because the vehicle I had owned prior to the new one in the accident had serious safety flaws that kills and injured many drivers which is one of the big reasons I upgraded to a newer, safer, more reliable carNAC Auto Body Collision took all that peace of mind away from me, so that they could pocket a few thousand dollarsInsurance fraud hurts the customer in more than one wayI ended up losing thousands on having to buy a new car, and having a higher car paymentI am fortunate that I am able to do that, but I should have never been put in this situationDo your homework into businesses, ask your dealership for certified, reputable body and collision body shops for your car make, and visit those shopsLook for their certifications, the cleanliness of the shop, employees, make surprise visits, and professionalism and intelligence of the owners and employeesTrust your intuitionI knew something was wrong when I took one look at the co-owner and the loaner car they gave me when he arrived at my house, but I thought I was being judgementalNo, trust your judgement! Also, don't do business with any business offering you a loaner car or to "save your deductible." When I visited the certified body shop recommended by my dealership I was blown away by how professional and clean the facility looked compared to NAC which looks like your uncle's junkyard behind his house. The employees were also clean and professionalThe owner took his time with me and answered my questioned like where they ordered their parts fromHe also taught me if someone offers you something free, you tell them you can't afford itAnd never ever do business with a business that calls you after an accident, because it just means they bought the accident reportThe biggest mistake I made was answering my phone when NAC called meI normally never ever answer unknown callsI never will againI now have rental car insurance, so I will never fall prey to shop like NAC again, because I never cared about saving $especially since I wasn't the at-fault driver, and it would be reimburse to me at a later dateI cared about having a car to get to work (where I actually help people and not victimize them), and they preyed on my valuable state

They fixed my BMW In a timely mannerThey were very professional and courteousI plan on returning in the future

Awesome, great people, so friendly, made me very comfortable, Went above and beyond for my vehicle as if it were their own

My husband and I had my dodge neon fixed there and the staff was very professional and helpfulI would gladly recommend my friends and family to them!

We have contacted *** *** to come out and have a meeting with Mrs*** about her vehicle. As soon as she contacts us we will set up *** *** from Progressive to review the vehicle in regards the complaints. Please call our office at ###-###-#### so we can
coordinate a meeting. Thanks Barry

Great guys, awesome repair! Hope to never go back But I will trust me!

I would be willing to repaint the quarter panel on the car to get the match correct.  Please forward me the pictures so I can see what is going on with the exhaust.  I could not see the pictures.

The cluster and the cam sensors are items we would have not touched or done anything with in the coarse of body work.  We would agree to assist with the charges related to the light bulbs because we worked on this portion of the car.  Note insurance companies will not pay for items like the gauge clusters or cam sensors which are service items and especially this long after the wreck.  These are industry standard practices in the auto body business.

[redacted] meet with [redacted] on August 16th to do his initial estimate.  He wrote the estimate for the repair the same way we would...

with any other car that comes in.  He explained to [redacted] that we could save his deductible based on how much the insurance company is willing to cover.  The exhaust was bent in the accident along with his rear bumper cover/absorber was damaged.  [redacted] told [redacted] that if the insurance company would pay for the cost of the exhaust we could then repair his exhaust and save the deductible.  If the insurance company would not we could only cover a small amount of the deductible.  The insurance company ended up covering the cost of the exhaust.  This estimate was heavily based on parts so this would be the only way to save the deductible.  So at the point we started the repairs.   [redacted] explained to me the conversation he had with [redacted] and that the exhaust was how the deductible was being saved and the exhaust repair was the agreement.  I took the car over to an exhaust shop to have the exhaust repaired.  It was bent not broken at any part in the system.  The exhaust shop said the exhaust was not damaged badly and I ok’d the repair.    After that the car repaired according to the insurance estimate.   A few days after the repair [redacted] called in and started complaining that the exhaust was not replaced and about scratches on the quarter panel.  I was shocked and went over the conversation that [redacted] had explaining to him what the tradeoff was to save the deductible.  At that point, [redacted] starting saying the insurance paid for it and I want it done regardless and he did not agree to that.  I talked it over with [redacted] and told him even though the agreement was made, in good faith I would agree to getting him an aftermarket exhaust and repair the scratches even if they were not from the wreck.   I ordered a nice exhaust with stainless steel tips.  There were much cheaper options but I did not want [redacted] to have a bad experience.  I did let [redacted] know I ordered a very nice aftermarket exhaust with stainless steel tips so there was no surprise.  We agreed to bring car back in to have the scratches repaired and get the exhaust installed.  Again I sent the exhaust out to an exhaust shop that has been in business over 20 years.  The exhaust looked and sounded great.  The scratches were repaired as agreed as well.  [redacted] dropped the car off on a Friday at 5pm and we completed the job in 24 hours which would have normally been a three day repair.  It is sometimes difficult to match colors 100% because manufacturers have many variables.  As far as the exhaust goes I am not sure what area the issue is in.  The mufflers and tips took the impact.  We cannot save the deductible replace the exhaust and then refund the money as well.  We did not just come up the idea without talking with customer.  On smaller repairs largely based on parts, it is impossible to cover deductibles and not trade off part of the repair.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. At this point I just need to know how to proceed to get the quarter panel fixed.

Had a traffic accident yesterday, and today the vultures are out. One of those vultures named Brittany from NAC Auto Body decided to send me an unsolicited text message to my cell phone offering their services. Thankfully, I have unlimited text messaging so I'm just annoyed instead of angry. I was also amused that the message included a link to their Revdex.com rating.

Spoke with [redacted] 1.22.15.  He stated he personally shook hands with Mr. [redacted] confirming the agreement that the company would pay his deductible if they repaired the exhaust instead of replacing it.  This was done.  When Mr, Manter was dissatisfied, the company replaced the exhaust with a new stainless steel one.  The quarter panel was addressed and painted.  The company feels they have met their obligation.  However in the interest of good will, [redacted] agreed to repair the quarter panel to bring this matter to a mutually agreeable resolution.

I am rejecting this response unless they agree to give me the 300 dollars that I was charged for the bulbs and the 100 dollars that was charged for labor but thats as low of an offer I am willing to take

I am rejecting this response because [redacted] I have read over the response and it is laughable to say the least of some of the responses they had.
The first thing I saw:
“[redacted] told [redacted] that if the insurance company would pay for the cost of the exhaust we could then repair his exhaust and save the deductible. If the insurance company would not we could only cover a small amount of the deductible”
I was NOT told such a thing, and had I been told that I would not have been arguing with them over replacing the exhaust that was repaired when they quoted me replacement. When I was quoted the repair I was told that the exhaust was damaged and needed to be replaced. Other shops told me either it was not damaged or they would heat it and bend it back. The MAIN REASON I took my car to NAC was because they told me the exhaust would be replaced since it was damaged, and heating it up would create a weak spot that would fail, and also a spot that would rust quicker than the rest.
NAC was not in my area, I had other shops five minutes to ten minutes away from my house but since I was told they would recommend replacement of the exhaust, not repair. They sent the quote to my insurance company indicating replacement was needed, which they did not do.
Yes, when I called in complaining about the exhaust and scratch I was told about the tradeoff that they said I was told about. I was not told about a trade off and wanted my car fixed right. I was under the impression with their Revdex.com rating they were going to do so, combined with the zero complaint rating. Apparently I was wrong.
“I ordered a nice exhaust with stainless steel tips. There were much cheaper options but I did not want [redacted] to have a bad experience. I did let [redacted] know I ordered a very nice aftermarket exhaust with stainless steel tips so there was no surprise”
The nice exhaust was a pair of cheap mufflers that required adapters to fit the ORIGINAL exhaust that is still on the car and STILL DAMAGED AND NOT FITTING RIGHT! I was told they ordered the replacement exhaust, but none the less it was not. Included are pictures to show the exhaust system was not replaced. The exhaust system that was suppose to have been replaced to begin with according to the quote, which they were paid for by my insurance company.
“The exhaust looked and sounded great.”
The car is so loud I can start it using my remote starter at my office building, and hear it on the parking garage. While the exhaust was starting to get louder after the wreck I couldn’t hear it when I started it with the remote starter, and inside the car it sounds horrible as well. The mufflers don’t even sit right on the car. The right one is lower than the left, and neither look like they fit as they would with original equipment replacements.
With the exhaust being so poorly replaced I’m now forced to take the car to an exhaust shop to get it done once I have the money, or do it myself once I have the money. Pretty ridiculous I have to replace a part that was suppose to have been replaced not once but twice by taking my car to the shop both times.
“The scratches were repaired as agreed as well. [redacted] dropped the car off on a Friday at 5pm and we completed the job in 24 hours which would have normally been a three day repair. It is sometimes difficult to match colors 100% because manufacturers have many variables.”
I understand that paint can’t be exactly matched, and yet the scratch repair area is much lighter than even the bumper which they replaced and painted. The scratch itself was the size of a quarter, and the repair area is about 12-16” square so it really stands out. Had I known the repair would have been like that I would have told them forget it and lived with it until I could get a bottle of touch up. At least that wouldn’t have been noticeable from halfway from a store parking lot.
I don’t like to complain or file complaints about businesses, but when I feel I’m wronged I am forced to do so. They wronged me in this case, and as it stands the only one that’s having to pay for it is me. They did not complete the work, nor did they tell me they would cover the deductible, only if the insurance company agreed to their price. Had I been told that I would have told them to keep the deductible, as I wanted the car back to the way it was before it was rear ended.
They say it was a small repair. I’m sorry but in my opinion $3000 is not a small repair, and it’s my car. I just wanted the car fixed right, which it was not.
I still maintain they need to refund my insurance company the cost of the exhaust since they did not replace it but installed mufflers only on a damaged exhaust.
[redacted] Manter
