There appears to have been a misunderstanding with a price discussion with Ms [redacted] She was discussing a shared data plan The amount for the bucket was discussed but the amount for each phone was not clearly understood A credit for $was granted Since this time, Ms [redacted] has disconnected her services with C Spire

When a customer leaves C Spire, the service continues through the end of the billing cycle This is why this temporary number was assigned One week after Ms [redacted] porting [redacted] out, she ported it back in This caused a problem with our billing system and the temporary number that should have disconnected on We have credited the charges of $ [redacted] However, the late fee was a result of the remaining balance that is still past due We hope this resolves this situation

Mr***'s phone was non-functional and would not navigate to the home screen This is not necessarily a software issue and could be caused by liquid damage to the device His phone was out of warranty and we offered his options one of which would have been an insurance replacement device According to the notes on the account, Mr [redacted] did not want to pay the deductible On the day after this complaint was filed, Mr [redacted] did upgrade his device While there were some terms stated to him, these were conditional on the device when we saw it After we examined the device, we could not abide by these terms Mr [redacted] now has a new working device and we hope this matter is settled

C Spire did not receive the device that Ms [redacted] returned Therefore, we have credited $ [redacted] and hope this compromise resolves the issue

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The terms are different from my previous account that I had when the company was still Cell SouthI kept that plan when the company changed to CSpireThis is a plan that I had for several years and was unlimitedI was then tricked this year to sign a different planI was assured that this plan was unlimited everythingIt was even advertised in that mannerThe plan did recently change in August when my contract was upSo my current plan is the same as the previous one I was tricked into signing earlier this year but different from the one I had prior to these two plansI feel this company practices very poor business ethics and definitely advertisingDoesn't this sound like a company that is currently in trouble with the federal trade comission? It appears that Ms [redacted] made payments through our automated system and these went through twice We cannot deduce the cause of this The monies have now been refunded and all is corrected We would like to offer Ms [redacted] $in compensation for the issues she has had The phones she has were purchased at significant discounts in lieu of keeping them active for months We will not be able to meet her requests of free upgrades If she does accept this money and should decide to upgrade, her account will need to be brought current as it is past due at the time of this response

Ms [redacted] did change plans but C Spire's policy is the same on both plans she has been on She is currently on a plan with a lower price that is managed exactly the same as her previous plan C Spire's terms and conditions state the following: C Spire reserves the right to (i) limit throughput or amount of data transferred, deny Service and/or terminate Service, without notice, to anyone it believes is using the Service in any manner prohibited above or whose usage adversely impacts its network or service levels, and (ii) protect its network from harm, which may impact legitimate data flows Ms [redacted] is on our lowest cost unlimited plan at this time It does have unlimited data however the speeds can be changed based on the usage This account is currently being serviced at speeds

This amount will be cleared on 4/ We apologize for the inconvenience

Ms [redacted] purchased devices with C Spire in April of They were purchased as substantial discounts with the agreement that she would keep these active for years C Spire offers a day period in which a customer can try the service and return the equipment with not risk Ms [redacted] did not exercise this option However, due to her issues, we will be glad to waive any early termination fees tied to these discounts if she will return the devices She can contact [redacted] at 601-***- [redacted] to arrange this return

This issue was resolved directly with Mr [redacted] on December 18th

C Spire clearly displays its Voice, 3G and LTE coverage on maps on its web site Our in store personnel are knowledgeable as to where LTE is available and this should be clearly communicated with all customers C Spire does not lock phones Non Apple devices are supplied with software that is designed for our network by the manufacturer However, this software can be removed Apple devices are assigned to specific carriers by Apple in order for proper programming to be sent to the phones These phones can be used by other carriers if Apple is notified to reassign those as long as all contractual obligations have been fulfilled.C Spire will not be posting the signs he requests in our stores

C Spire is clearing Mr [redacted] 's balance to $

Mr [redacted] signed up for service with C Spire on April 8, It was not on a prepaid service He was on a post paid service and, according to the order information C Spire has on file, paid $the day he signed up Mr [redacted] ported his numbers to another carrier in July of Due to the fact that he did not fulfill the months he agreed to, he was billed for early termination fees on all three lines totaling $ He was charged for no services past the date of July 11, His ports were completed on July 10, If Mr [redacted] has any proof that he paid up front for service on the day of his activation, we will be glad to see this and investigate

C Spire has already credited this account We hope this resolves the issue

C Spire will stand by its original response Warranties are not applicable to damaged phones We will be glad to work with our customer on repair cost allowances
