Napleton's Arlington Heights Chrysler Dodge Jeep R Reviews (27)

Mr. [redacted] is free to have his vehicle serviced at any Dodge dealership, especially if it is for work covered by the manufacturer warranty.  However, just as Dodge customer service told him, we would have to see the vehicle to do any further work on our end.  We have been following the...

manufacturers process on the vehicle.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2014/09/29) */
Mr. [redacted] purchased a new vehicle from our store on 7/31/14. In the state of Illinois there is no cooling off period. At this time, we do not owe the customer anything.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 10, 2014/10/01)...

*/
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I was told by [redacted], the GM that my deal wasn't about the money, well if that was truly the case, why did he personally setup the deal so that I would be stuck paying so much to get my trade in back? The price I paid for the Durango vs. the price they sold the Durango for after I "traded" it in should be the most I should have to pay, but instead I'm paying double that price. [redacted] says it's not about the money, but they sure did make a lot of it off this deal. In the end, they made more money off this "deal" than they would have if they sold the Durango as new.
Works out great for them, screws everyone else.
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 14, 2014/10/06) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Their response doesn't fix anything.
The fact remains, the dealership screwed me over and made more money off the car than if they would have sold it as new.
Bad business, is bad business. This is proof of that.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 12, 2014/10/06) */
Our answer remains the same.

While we dispute much of what the customer claims, he was refunded for his cancelled products. The refund was sent to his lien holder.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/04/13) */
Ms. [redacted]'s issue has been resolved at this time.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/08/21) */
Ms. [redacted] has also spoken with our corporate office.
Our General Manager, [redacted] spoke with Ms. [redacted] and offered to take the car back and unwind the deal. She did not want to do that.
At this point, Ms....

[redacted]'s vehicle has been fixed and she is in possession of it.
We do not owe the customer anything else.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2014/08/22) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
On or about July 30th, we offered and requested that the contract be voided, and that we had found the exact car for almost the exact price and wanted to take our business and go elsewhere to purchase the car. The request was presented to [redacted] and his response was that "since the loan was funded and the car was titled to us, that was NOT an option". The first communication we had directly with [redacted], is when he called our home on August 18th to offer to miraculously void the contract. At that time, we had waited three weeks for the car to be completely repainted (the car was picked up on August 19th. Napelton never informed us that it was ready and we picked it up directly from the body shop), the other car has been sold, and we were already informed that the contract COULD NOT BE VOIDED. We have verbally amended our resolution to the sales manager, [redacted] at Napelton and to [redacted] at Napelton corporate to request 12 months worth of loan payments. I have also informed both the dealership and corporate that Napelton Arlington Heights have been removed from both TrueCar and USAA as a recommended dealership due to 10 complaints within a three month period. In the time without the auto, I have been paying for insurance and loan interest. The car was purchased new with 22 miles and was returned with over 160 miles. Again, we wanted to return the car and Napelton said NO.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2014/08/29) */
Mr. and Mrs. Dryman have been in contact with our corporate office who is now handling the complaint.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I was contacted this morning by...

phone by the general Manger of the company and I am awaiting an email from him regarding a settlement.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted],  this complaint should have never went through as I have made several attempts to revoke it...

because the dealer imediately resolve the issue and I do not want this to negatively affect the company in anyway.  I have sent to the Revdex.com on this as well and never received a response .
Sincerely,
[redacted]
