Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: When offering a certification in PALS/ACLS/BLS, the credentials of the instructor DO MATTER This organization offers no proof of their instructors even existing or the credentials they have, and could easily just be plagiarizing American Heart Association work and putting it on their website for their "courses" They could easily hire anyone, state that they are an experienced healthcare professional, and print their name on the back of their cards and fabricate an instructor ID number which cannot be verified This is an incredibly dangerous and deceptive precedent, and to allow this behavior by an organization that claims to offer authentic certification in LIFE-SAVING SKILLS is reprehensible This is dangerous to patients and people who are in immediate need of medical attention, and in all honesty, should be investigated further

The National ACLS Testing Center was acquired by Career Step LLC and they have assumed all daily operations for the companyWe work diligently to provide our students with the best customer experience possible

Ms*** purchased an Online BLS re-certification on ACLS.us on
10-18-This is the site for the National ACLS Testing CenterShe promptly reached out to our support department about an issue she was experiencing with logging into her course that same afternoonDue to an extremely high call volume we were experiencing she was not able to speak to an agentShe also sent an email on 10-and we quickly responded on 10-explaining to her what the process was for her to login to her course
Ms*** purchased a course from the National ACLS Testing Center back in and completed the course and received her certification cardThe site has not changed since 2012, we are unsure why she was experiencing the issues that she claimsWe explained to her the process of logging in when we responded to the emailIt was at this time that she informed us that she had purchased the same course from another company before we had a chance to discuss with her the issues that she was experiencingShe then demanded a refund because she had waited until the last minute to purchase her course and needed it done that dayWe do apologize for any inconvenience that this experience may have caused her, but we cannot be held responsible for that fact that she waited until the last minute, this in turn gave us little to no time to respond and help her through her issues
As stated above Ms*** is a returning student to our course and knows the policies of our site as she agreed to our Terms and Conditions when she made her purchaseIt states in the Terms and Conditions:
All trainees at the National ACLS Testing Center are required to determine whether or not the information on our site and training program will be applicable and relevant to their job requirements, employer’s requirements, and unique clinical circumstances…All purchases are final once made and no refunds will be granted after successful registration
