National ACLS Testing Center Reviews (28)

We received a response from *** *** concerning the letter that we wroteMs*** claims in her rebuttal; “There is no reference to check with your agency…..” On our website ACLS.us under the terms it states.? All trainees at the National ACLS Testing Center are required to determine whether or not the information on our site and training program will be applicable and relevant to their job requirements, employer’s requirements, and unique clinical circumstances…All purchases are final once made and no refunds will be granted after successful registration. We understand the frustration that may come with a hospital or employer not accepting a course that a student has participated in and in most cases paid for out of their pocketThis is the reason that we put this on our websiteWe want to make sure that the student finds out from their employer 1) if they have a preference of provider and 2) if they will accept our certificationMs*** failed to do so, and asked for a refund after she was negligent in her responsibilityIt is for these reasons that we cannot grant a refund.? Kerry H*** ACLS.us?

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:Sincerely,[redacted]

The National ACLS Testing Center does not make any claims on the website that we are affiliated or certified with the American Heart Association. As written on our site it explains:
The National ACLS Testing Center provides ACLS, PALS, NRP and BLS Certification and Recertification cards...

that show that a trainee has completed our online course. The National ACLS Testing Center’s courses are not accredited by the American Heart Association; the AHA does not accredit any 100% online ACLS, PALS, NRP or BLS courses nor any courses besides their own. We require our trainees to determine their organization’s requirements for ACLS, PALS, NRP or BLS training prior to taking our course. All purchases are final once made and no refunds will be granted after successful registration.
We are required to reference the AHA guidelines due to the AHA being the entity that has been commissioned by ILCOR (International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation) to distribute these guidelines in the United States. ILCOR is the International committee responsible for coordination of all aspects of cardiopulmonary and cerebral resuscitation worldwide. The AHA does not certify or approve any class or course that is not taught by them, this includes our company, the Red Cross, and the ECC. They are not a governing body and do not have the right to certify or approve.  Our company provides the same type of Pre-Hospital education as the American Heart Association, we are essentially in competition with the AHA and this is why they will never approve of our course.
It also states in our terms and conditions for every prospective student that:
“We require our trainees to determine their organization’s requirements for ACLS, PALS, NRP or BLS training prior to taking our course. All purchases are final once made and no refunds will be granted after successful registration. “
[redacted] contacted The National ACLS Testing Center and requested a refund. We unfortunately could not grant her that request. As our policy states, all sales are final and refunds will not be given.

In response to the complaint submitted by [redacted]: ACLS.us does not make any claims on the website that we are or are affiliated with the American Heart Association. As written on our site it explains:  The National ACLS Testing Center is a provider of convenient and cost...

effective ACLS, BLS (Healthcare Provider) and PALS testing and training. We provide initial certification for first time trainees as well as PALS recertification, BLS and ACLS renewal online. Our course materials have been updated with the latest 2015 AHA guidelines and clinical recommendations. Earn your initial certification or recertification on your own time with our online nationally accepted classes. We have to reference the AHA guidelines due to the AHA being the entity that has been commissioned by ILCOR (International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation) to distribute these guidelines in the United States. ILCOR is the International committee responsible for coordination of all aspects of cardiopulmonary and cerebral resuscitation worldwide. It also states in our terms and conditions for every prospective student that:  All trainees at the National ACLS Testing Center are required to determine whether or not the information on our site and training program will be applicable and relevant to their job requirements, employer’s requirements, and unique clinical circumstances.Unfortunately the services have been rendered and the student has a valid certification. We do apologize that his employer does not accept it. As stated on the website it is the student’s responsibility to verify if his employer will accept it before completing the course. No refund will be issued at this time. Sincerely Kerry H[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: It is ridiculous that the company will not refund money when the program was not completed and they made false claims about their program on the website. Particularly since this has required me to spend additional money on a real certification is face suspension at work.

This letter is in response to the Complaint that the National ACLS Testing Center received from [redacted]. In June of 2015 Career Step LLC acquired the National ACLS Testing Center and have assumed all daily operations of the company. We are being...

diligent in making sure that there are no customers that feel that they did not get the type of service that we pride ourselves on. That being said, we are making sure that we respond to any and all communications that have been sent in regards to the National ACLS Testing Center. In October 2015 Ms. [redacted] purchased the Pediatric Advanced Life support course on our site and passed the required exam. Upon passing the exam her cards were created and then shipped out to her. She called several times and was denied her request for a refund. As stated on the website in the terms and conditions, which she agreed to by purchasing the course, it reads: All trainees at the National ACLS Testing Center are required to determine whether or not the information on our site and training program will be applicable and relevant to their job requirements, employer’s requirements, and unique clinical circumstances…. All purchases are final once made and no refunds will be granted after successful registration. We can appreciate her situation and understand that many companies prefer the AHA accredited courses. This is the primary reason that we educate our students to check with their institution or employer before taking our course.

Thank you for your email. Our courses are nationally accepted and based on the latest published AHA cognitive guidelines. We do successfully certify thousands of providers each month, however, it seems like your employer has a "brand preference" and only wants you to take the AHA affiliated...

brand course. There are many other providers of ACLS and PALS training besides just the AHA affiliated training centers. ur program is approved and accredited by the National Board for Emergency Continuing Medical Education.   All course materials are in accordance with the latest AHA (American Heart Association) and ECC guidelines and meet ILCOR requirements.  ILCOR is the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation and is the governing association that sets Advanced Cardiac Program standards worldwide. We are our own provider, much like [redacted] and [redacted]; 2 of the largest accredited certification companies in the United States.  Each organization distributes documents bearing their logo.  Neither the AHA or the American [redacted] are credentialing bodies, they can not approve, accept, acknowledge or accredit other organizations.  The AHA themselves publish the guidelines but they do not directly accredit or certify anyone.  In no way do we claim to be affiliated, accredited, approved or accepted by the American Heart Association, our credentialing body is clearly stated on all webpages as well as our Final Purchase refund policy.  Our home page, terms and faq pages clearly stipulate that all purchases are final.Course registrations will not expire, you may access and complete your course 24hrs/dy, 7dys/wk.  You will automatically receive both certification cards and Category1 CME units upon course completion.

Thank you for your help.
On the very next day I got a call from ACLS COMPANY and promised
that my certificate will be sends right away.  I received my certificates (2)
on 12/27/15. Even the resolution was reached, company has to work hard
on their assurances( "certificates will be...

shipped on one business day"). It is a
false information.
