The resolve to this matter would be for the customer to pay the down payment as contractedThe payment needs to be made to Bonneville collectionsThe check in question was never made payable to National Auto Plaza, therefore is not valid payment

I have no one by that name at our dealershipAgain if you would like to discuss a trade option, you are welcome to call meIn regards to honesty, again we do not pull carfax on our vehicle unless requestedWe never made any body damage repairs to this vehicleIf there had been damage it was repaired prior. Again Utah law does not require us to disclose anything other than a Branded titleThe title to this car is clean and clear of such brandingsI cannot help you with another dealerships offer, unfortunately they are free to value your vehicle at whatever they feel is fair to themThe sale of this vehicle was as is, and a used vehicleThis being said, vehicles are often in wrecks and are repairedThis does not make them un safe or lessen the value unless it is frame damage or the damage is major that it puts a brand on the titleI cannot say what of if your vehicle was in an accident, but I do know that we sold you a clean and clear titled vehicleJust as an example, I wen ahead and pulled a Carfax on your trade inas you can see I have attached it and it is reporting structural damage to the vehicle that accured before you traded it into us, (you did not disclose this to us)Also as you can see on your title there is no branding of damage on the titleIf you feel like we were dishonest than it goes both ways and we should have been inforrmed of structural damageI just wanted to show you that car fax reporting does not always mean what it states and we do not count on it to be accurate, therefore we choice not to use itIf someone is telling you that structural damage means more than just a wreck and repair, than was the accident your vehicle was in more than just body damage? I hope this example helped to clear up some confusionWe have no liability for negative equity for a vehicle you purchased with in the terms agreedWe however we have offered to help you trade out and get you the vehicle you wantThis must be done at our dealershipPlease call me directly if you would like to discuss this option.Serelle

Again, I told your financial guy that I didn’t want the etch, however, he stated that it was already done and that I basically had no choice because the work was done, I gave up because I had no choiceThen to my amazement, when I checked it out the next day, there was no etcI hope you can see how this gives the perception of being extremely dishonestI said upfront I didn’t want it, was told “too late it is done”, then get home and it is not done. As far as the email goes, I do indeed have it and have attached it to this messageI had to copy it to a word document as I cannot attach an email to this messageIf you would prefer me to forward it to you, I can do that as well. I know the timeframe is long, but I have been trying to resolve it off and on through your management team, however, not one person responded to my requests (until now). Thank you for looking into this. ***
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because: you did not include all copies of all contracts signed, just the ones in your favorI also have the copies you providedI did not claim the registration showed the price I paid for the warrantyit does show however the price I paid taxes on which correlates with both sales contracts that have the $warranty if it is your policy not to admit any wrong doing or shady and immoral sales practices, then so be itI will not be happy or satisfied until I am reimbursed at the very least the $ out of my pocket above and beyond the faulty "FULL COVERAGE " WARRANTY I'm sorry your company stance is to encourage scandalous sales
Sincerely,

***, you are more than welcome to contact me Serelle T***The cost I quoted you is our dealer cost, no mark up at allLexus vehicle are very costly and so are the keysAgain Alex promised you it at cost and we will gladly order it for you for that amountWe do not keep owners manuals hereAlex printed it the first time and its over pages and it was mailed to your home addressWe do not wish to print again as this is a lot of wasted paper, I would like to send you the digital copy to have for your records. The vehicle did go through our shop ST/IM was completedAt the time of sale nothing was promised as buy the Customer we owe agreementEverything you have stated was verbal, Alex made good on his promise of printing and mailing the manual and I assure you, you will get an email with the PDF copyAs to any other repairs to the vehicle, if you would like we can see what the cost would be at our shopThere may be some savings in cost through us

I am sorry to hear of the issues you are having with your vehicle.I know if fact the engine was replaced and was disclosed to you at the time of saleAnd you did in fact purchase a warranty for the vehicle from Alpha WarrantiesWe are an administrator for Alpha onlyWe do not determine coverage
or coverage limitsThis is all done through Alpha WarrantyThe purchase price for the warranty was $and is a year mile warranty with a $deductibleWe would be glad to assist you with the repairs and could possibly save you money on the repairsWe are an independent shop and do use after market parts and accessoriesWe are not a Franchise dealer, therefore we do not have the access to GM and their servicesIf you choose to have the vehicle repaired with GM, you will need to work with them and the warranty company for payment. If you need any copies of your contracts, please feel free to contact the dealership

David and Andrea C*** purchased a vehicle from National Auto Plaza on 05/16/Per the motor vehicle contract of sale they were to pay to National Auto Plaza a down payment in the amount of $At the time of sale it was agreed that we would wait days to collect because she was to
receive an insurance check that would cover the amount of the down paymentWe received in the mail a check from PNC Bank N.A Progressive insurance after this time period had already expiredAt that time we noticed that the check was made out to Andrea C*** and University First Credit Union OnlyAt that time Allie called Andrea and let he know we would need a new check or she would need to get University to sign off on the check to NationalShe at this time gave Allie a number to her insurance rep and asked us to call himWe did contact him and sent him a request on 06/01/as a courtesyAs time passed we still had not received the check and Nicole from our collections department was in contact with AndreaShe was informed that this is her responsibility and she needed to call and get us the moneyShe was very irritated at this time and was not happy that she had to do this, but at this point the money was way past due and it is not our responsibility to collect money owed to her from an outside sourceNicole was last to speak with her and Andrea had gotten quite irate with Nicole and at that point Nicole did decide to end the callAfter a few more calls with no response we followed our standard collection procedure and sent the debt to an outside collecting agency (Bonneville collections)I spoke to Andrea the last week of July and she told me the whole situation, including that she was aware that we had the checkShe had told me she had spoke with our sales department in regards to some repair concerns and they informed her that we had the checkThis in fact was accurate based on the very first conversation we had with AndreaI told Andrea I would speak with Edin and Alex to make sure that the information that was relayed was not any different than what accounting had told herOur sales department said that they were only aware that we had received the first check, and that is all that was relayed to herAccounting does not share collection information with our sales teamOur sales department did in fact have her vehicle repaired for herThis had nothing to do with the down payment owedShe had been contacted several times from our accounting department as to what the situation wasAnd it was ignored and not handled on her endFact of the matter is, she signed a contract that shows she owes to National Auto Plaza a down payment of $and that was not paidIt has been sent to the collection agency and they do charge a collection feeNational Auto Plaza went above and beyond to help the customer and did everything within our means before it went to collectionsThis debt was valid and sent to Bonneville for valid reasonsAt this point she will need to work with Bonneville collections to clear the debt

I am rejecting this response because:I am uncomfortable sending any copies because I do not trust youIf you would like to set up a meeting to discuss this further I will bring copies of what I have as I said before I have already taken care of getting the issue fixed that turned into a bigger and more expensive issue because of your companies negligence and sloppy workTo which I then had to pay forPlease contact me if you would like to schedule a time to meet and discuss in person this issue?
Sincerely,
*** ***

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: only of the multiple concerns were addressed in the response, and those concerns addressed, did not specifically address the following:*i only signed for a total of inquiries to be pulledThere were 6.and the request from the financing manager and sales staff for pay stubs were unwarranted, as I CONFIRMED with the lien holder that they did NOT request copies of pay stubs! So the finance manager Eric was evidently lying to obtain information that was not needed. *while I agreed to making the appointment for the smoke removal, I felt making the appointment with your organization would not be wise as I would be afraid of retaliation, and potential damage to be done to the vehicleThat concern was not addressed. *another concern not addressed was the warranty options not being offeredOnly one was offered, and since the sale, the warranty company stated that the items that the staff told me would be covered states they would not*no offer made to help make me feel better about the situation
Sincerely,

I spoke to our service department in regards to the A/CI was told originally the problem with the A/C that we fixed was an A/C line leakThe problem you are now having with the compressor is a separate issueThe quote for the parts and labor to make the repair is based our on price listsYou
however have every right to have your vehicle fixed at any repair shop at your experienceWe in good faith did the diagnosis at no charge to youIn regards to the purchase of a warranty; we at National Auto Plaza work directly with the lenders to get financing arrange for our customersIn doing so there are guide line the bank has us followThe bank sets the guide line and the loan amountIf the bank would not allow the financing of the extra amount of money the warranty would cost, we do not determine that, the bank doesYou could have at the time paid cash for the extended warranty, you just could not have added it to the loanWe like to offer warranties to all of our customer to help for repairs like theseVehicle go through a lot of wear and tear in our day to day drivingThis does cause damage to the vehicle, and vehicles will need repairs as they age and will need to have regular servicingI have spoke with management in regards to Chris' behavior and it will be addressedWe value all of our customers and would like to keep you as a loyal customerOur service department is here to help with any repairs you do need, but the price quote if to cover parts and labor that it will take to do the repairs

I am sorry to hear you have had a bad experience with NAPI do show that you purchased the Etch on your vehicle in the amount of $and signed the warranty documentIt is a non cancelable item and states so on the paperworkAs to the sale price of the vehicle, I am not able to verify that
informationDo you have the email? If so could you send to me? As you purchased your vehicle a year ago, I will do my best to resolve this issue but the time frame makes it difficult

I have attached information for your recordOne being the As is AgreementThis states that this is a used vehicle and the dealer will not pay for any repairs and that you declined a Warranty purchase to cover any repairsListed on this is major issues a used vehicle could haveI am sorry to hear
the transmission is acting upWe send out vehicles through our service shop and have them check out before saleWe do not drive these vehicle once leaving the shop and passing inspectionA transmission is not something that can always be found through an inspection process as there were no engine lights or major defects at the timeA warranty would have helped cover these costsI also included a copy of the inspection and emissionAs we are a dealer, our inspections our valid for months and I have included the MVED rules for thisSo the inspection was still validThe $you are referring to as public officials Is $in property tax paid to the state of Utah and $for registration paid to the State of Utah when we get your license platesEveryone is responsible to pay these to register their vehiclesAs to the Gap insurance, it is cancelable and I will email you the cancelation form to fill out and send back to us at the dealerAs the vehicle is financed with a lender, the balance will be sent to the lender to apply to your loanThank you for sharing your concerns, I hope I have answered and addressed all of themPlease watch your email for the cancelation forms
