Company reporting collection account that does not belong to me.This account has been re-inserted to credit file with out notice,FCRA violation.
YOUR COMPLAINT
On 01/13/2020 I recieved a credit monitoring alert of a derogatory account being added back to my credit file with Experian. This errouneous account NCAC/National credit audit corp in the amount of 5,879 was removed from my credit file sometime the year prior. This account does not belong to me.Transunion is also reporting this account as well, ive reached out to both parties to get information on this account last year 2019.Since then Transunion and Experian have not supplied any information on this account. Experian is in violation of the re-insertion laws per the FCRA,All Credit bureau's are required to inform the consumer of any re-insertion.This has hurt my ability to obtain credit as well as the constant back and forth with the Credit bureau's as well as the collection agency.Equifax has removed this account with no issue at all.Myself and my attorney have started legal action against Transunion and Experian and NCAC for violating the FCRA and my rights as a consumer.

Desired Outcome

I demand this account be removed, this is a errounuoes account.I also request all documents related to above account,as well as all signature pages.

I am not able to make a payment to this company today but the letter I received said I had to respond in 7 and days and to contact with my options.
I called NCAC and spoke to Melissa *** I just called to find out what my options were and to let her know I am responding within 7 days. From the start she spoke to me with such a miserable tone and I wanted her to give me a number around where my payments should be but she told me to come up with one and I told her I can't make a payment at the moment I just want to know what kind of payment options they have available for a week from now, she rudely told me I don't know what you can pay which I understand but she spoke to me as if I was an it and it's holiday season, we got evicted from the place she is collecting the debt for and are just writing by right now so the last thing I need when I call to discuss an already stressful situation is for someone to talk to me rude as soon as she answered the phone she sounded like she did not want to be there and she has no customer service skills whatsoever because the tone she used was unacceptable. And then she repeated what I had said about asking her why this is so difficult and she did it in a very snarky voice as if she was mocking me. If someone is going to speak to customers in this manner then she should not be dealing with others and should find a new job where she won't have to interact with people and take whatever is making her miserable out on people who are contacting them.

Desired Outcome

I no longer want to deal with Melissa *** when contacting this company to make a payment and I would like disciplinary actions taken even if it involves her doing an Inservice on how to speak to people on the phone.

There has been no communication in regards to responsibility to this debt. Upon calling, agent was very rude and unhelpful. Demanding I pay in full.
On December 3rd, 2019, I called said business to get help on an issue that has been on going over the past year. I have requested numerous times that this agency send me documentation providing I am in fact responsible. Upon calling, I explained to the agent(who did not even introduce herself) that I am currently trying to enlist in the Air Force and need this to be rectified before moving forward. The agent stated that if I paid the $895 I could have it removed. I explained that while I didn't have that amount to just pay out, I would like to see how I am responsible for said debt. Agent got very defensive and told me to "examine my faults". I'm not sure what exactly that meant but my whole purpose was to try and get documentation sent first before just paying out that kind of money. I asked to speak to someone else as which she refused and told me that I wouldn't get to do that, she's handling it. I did get upset because this is my future. I cannot move forward and she even, at the beginning of the call, said she knew all about that. I have tried to dispute this numerous times and also contact original creditor. I am reporting because not only was she rude but not helpful at all. I cannot move forward if this is not seen to being satisfied. Again I just need something proving I am responsible and if so a reasonable payment option.

Desired Outcome

I am seeking for this to be removed from my credit file. This entry was made to my credit report on May 7,2018. It has been over a year and still no documentation sent to me proving I am in fact responsible. Not only is it pass 30 days but the agent was not helpful and demanding for full amount. There was no help given to me. Again, I cannot move forward in my enlisting if this negative inquiry is not showing being taken care of. I cannot even do that because agent said only way would be to pay full amount which I know is not true. This is my future and has implicated me for too long with no resolution.

Attempt to collect debt that is unwarranted
I received a letter on August 19, 2019 from NCAC-National Credit Audit Corporation stating that they offered me "a variety of payment options and discounts" to pay off a debt of $774.42. The claim was from an apartment managment company called *** Properties which my husband and I lived at for 2 years. Upon moving out we followed the protocol for turning in our keys and provided a return address. Approximately 1 month later we received the remainder of our security deposit totaling $250.00 sent to the forwarding address we provided with no detailed list of what the whole of our security deposit was spent on. This letter from NCAC came 6 months later with no previous correspondence, and with only my name on document, even though my husbands name was the primary on the lease and all of our documents with the apartment. He also has never received any correspondence from NCAC or *** Properties pertaining to this outstanding debt. We were not able to sign a lease at our new residence until they received confirmation from our old residence (*** Properties) that we did not have an outstanding balance, effectively stating that we could not move into a new place while we still owed another property group money. On August 23, 2019 after receiving the document from NCAC my husband called the old apartment office owned by *** Properties and was informed "we do not hold onto resident accounts after the resident has vacated the apartment" so we were provided with *** Properties Collections number. We decided to move forward with contacting the Revdex.com at this point because we felt like we were not being told the pertinent information for *** Properties and did not feel like NCAC was reputable enough to provide our sensitive information through their website.

Desired Outcome

We are looking to have this debt of $774.42 exponged due to the fact that we had resolved all outstanding debts with *** prior to vacating our old apartment. Also to have any damage done to my credit report reversed.

I, Sumaiya R is writing this letter in response to a collection being reported on my credit report by NCAC File# *** for $435.55 by *** Apartments on December 10, 2018.I just want to confirm that this information is not correct and not verifiable up until today 5/22/2019I have left my apartment on excellent status and there was no work to be done for any sort of repair other than fixing a blind which cost me around $15.00. During the time of key submission, I was physically present, and neither any verbal nor any written notice was given to me at any point of time until I received the collection letter from NCAC. If *** is claiming to have any repairs, work done after I left, they must provide me of receipts of work done and it must be verifiable. After numerous attempts and several emails asking for proof of work done from the *** I received no response and got this letter from NCAC instead.

Desired Outcome

Other (requires explanation) NCAC continued collection activity on account they never validated. Under the Pennsylvania Finance Code, the debt collection agency has thirty (30) calendar days to respond to a debt validation request. All debt collectors operating in the State of PA must be able to verify, or "validate," any debt on which they are attempting to collect payment. If a debt collector has failed to respond to your debt validation request, then they have essentially admitted, per PA Finance Code, that the debt in question is inaccurate. As such, all collection efforts on the debt must cease and any derogatory listing should be permanently removed from any consumer credit reports. As of May 22, 2019, I still have not heard from them. Under state and federal law, I could sue them and ask for thousands. However, if they delete the account and cease reporting the bureaus I will consider this matter resolved.

this people are the worst ...... they
take people to collection just because they want a commission
they should be taken out of business

National Credit Audit Corporation Response • Apr 17, 2019

NCAC does not "take people to collection". We accept past due collection accounts from landlords who are owed money from prior tenants and attempt to resolve those past due amounts. In Mr. case. Our client, Morgan Properties filed a lawsuit for eviction against Mr. for non payment of rent. Mr. vacated the apartment voluntarily therefore the client did not need an eviction order to take position and the case was dismissed. We have tried unsuccessfully to explain to Mr. that although the lawsuit was dismissed he still owes our client for past due rent, fees for early termination of his lease, cleaning, damages and utilities.Mr. has refused to pay. We have tried unsuccessfully to explain the difference between the lawsuit for eviction that was indeed dismissed and the debt he owes to our client. Mr. refuses to accept our explanation and refuses to pay the debt owed.

Customer Response • Apr 28, 2019

Case was litigated in court and dismissed ,landlord fail to present any details and they failed to deal with the Infestation losing the case

Proof of payment, invoice, and estimates; Correspondence or other documentation concerning the alleged damage; Deducting for cleaning charges that are regular maintenance; deducting for cleaning charges without giving me a 24-hour written notice of the cleaning that needed to be done; keeping all of my security deposit without a lawful reason; Not giving me a list of deductions that were taken from my security deposit; keeping all of my security deposit for cleaning charges or damages; without providing me a written list of damage and cleaning charges within 30 days of when I moved out.

Desired Outcome

As part $0 fraud liability, I am not held responsible for this account, send updated information to the credit bureaus for them to remove this account from my credit report.

I would like them to validate the debt for account
no DXXXXXXXX which they have reported as collection to 3 credit bureaus.
The have added the amount of $660 as collection and reported to 3 credit bureaus inaccurately. They are collecting for a former apartment complex. I have paid all the rent to them and nothing is due. They are saying I have to pay for the new carpet. This claim is disputed with their client and there is not valid reason for this claim. I have sent NCAC letter on Dec 28,2018 and contacted by phone on Mar 1, 2019 asking them to validate the debt but there is no response.

Desired Outcome

I like the collection of $660.00 to be deleted from all 3 credit bureaus.

I was a resident of Northampton Apartments in Largo, MD 6 years ago from 2013-2015. My account ledger had a balance of $0 when I turned in the keys on 6/19/15 per my 60 day notice which was given to the rental office on 4/13/15. I was a great tenant who went through a multitude of insect, maintenance and emergency issues within the apartment complex during my stay, but always paid my rent on time. On 6/19/15 when I turned in my keys to the rental office, a Northampton employee snatched the keys out of my hand and refused my right to a walk through. I asked the rude employee if she could please conduct a walk through with me as the front office knew I was relocating out of state and needed a receipt of keys returned for my records. The employee in the rental office refused in a very loud tone once again and said "it's too late in the day for that". With my movers and small children waiting, I had no choice but to leave without a receipt. As time went by, I started to notice that a collections on the amount of $3,126 was being falsely reported by National Credit Audit Corporation for unpaid rent to Northampton Apartments which is a complete lie. I have sent 3 emails to the President/CEO of the Property Management company which is Morgan Properties with no response. The most recent email was sent 24 hours ago with proof that my account ledger had a zero balance and I do not owe any monies to Northampton and especially not NCAC.I contacted NCAC recently and a very nasty woman answered the phone at (XXX) XXX-XXXX and she refused to validate the debt, admitted she couldn't validate the debt, then proceeded to mention that this account doesn't even belong to NCAC but yet they are illegal and falsely reporting it to the credit bureaus. NCAC has a terrible reputation for harrassing customers and making threats to force them into paying debts they not only are unauthorized to collect on, but debts that aren't even real or accurate. This company needs to be investigated

Desired Outcome

Other (requires explanation) The legal and right thing to do would be to immediately draw up a letter that shows this account never should have been in collections, has a zero balance and a request to the credit bureaus for expedited deletion. My credit has been ruined by this inaccuracy and false reporting and my rights under the FCRA and FDCPA has been violated to the highest degree. I would also appreciate a phone call or email response from the President to assure me that he will personally take care of this as I have provided proof of a zero balance to Mr. via email.

This letter is regarding account #DXXXXXXN1, which you claim I have a charge off and 'I owe $5,111.00? and 'my account was reported to collections as delinquent for $5,111.00'). This is a formal notice that your claim is disputed.
I am requesting validation, made pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act, along with the corresponding local state laws. Please note that I am requesting 'validation'; that is competent and evidence bearing my signature, showing that I have (or ever had) some contractual obligation to pay you. Pending the outcome of my investigation of any evidence that you submit, you are instructed to take no action that could be detrimental to any of my credit reports. Failure to respond within 30 days of receipt of this certified letter may result in small claims legal action against your company at my local venue. I would be seeking a minimum of $1000 in damages per violation.

NCAC continued collection activity on account they never validated.
On November 26, 2018 NCAC received my certified letter requesting validation of account they are attempting to collect on DXXXXXXN1. They never responded. Under the Texas Finance Code the debt collection agency has thirty (30) calendar days to respond to a debt validation request. All debt collectors operating in the State of Texas must be able to verify, or "validate," any debt on which they are attempting to collect payment. Texas Finance Code Section 392.202 requires a debt collection agency or credit bureau to provide the alleged debtor with specific information concerning their debt including but not limited to: The name of the original creditor the original date of default or non-payment of the debt the date the debt was transferred from the original creditor to the third party debt collector The original balance The current balance Surety bond information respond or did not respond in time. If a debt collector has failed to respond to your debt validation request, then they have essentially admitted, per Texas Finance Code 392.202(b)(2), that the debt in question is inaccurate. As such, all collection efforts on the debt must cease and any derogatory listing should be permanently removed from any consumer credit reports. As of January 16, 2019 I still have not heard from them. Under state and federal law I could sue them and ask for thousands. However, I would like to make every effort to resolve this matter amicably without presenting this case in court before a jury in my community. If they delete the account and cease reporting to the bureaus I will consider this matter resolved.

They have the worst customer service. I called to get more details on my account. JANE *** who I am sure is not her name was very rude. I tried to find solutions how to get this removed from my credit with payment options and she said that I don't know anything. When asked to speak with a manager I was advised that there is only one manager and no one else in charge and that I couldn't speak with him. I even apologized to "Jane" and apologized if I became defensive and had an attitude. She was still rude and replied "I am not going to play this game with you". Everyone there sounds like they have a chip on their shoulder and is having a bad day. One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered. They need to be shut down.

FRAUD on my credit report based on FRAUD OBTAINED BY THESE REPUGNANT MNS
first off the category this repugnant company lists itself under in the Revdex.com is incorrect you are not a background check company you are a FRAUDULENT credit report debt collector. I don't know if the MNs are NCA age there so called debts like a fine wine. but the 217 dollar charge they have on me for stonecliff heights is a FARUD it NEVER SHOWED UP on my credit report UNTIL AND AFTER my information was hacked at Equifax in september of 2017 so how the expletive these sacks of expletives can post a 4 year debt from 2014 that NEVER SHOWED up on ANY of my reports UNTIL and after 2017 is a fraud these MNs probably paid more for my personal information than the fraudulent debt is worth. I never lived at stonecliff in 2014. Im not surprised that these expletives have a 1 star rating with the Revdex.com. furthermore this company is so utterly useless they have ignored every complaint I have sent to them via CFPB the federal guideline agency of America

Desired Outcome

after dealing with the morons at Equifax for a expletive year im going to deal with you repugnant sacks of expletives now I want the 217DOLLAR FRAUD rescinded from my credit report

Needing collection taken off credit due to lack of proof and documentation.
I have an collection showing on me and my husbands credit from NCAC and have been dealing with a guy named mr. A and every time I have asked for proof of documentation or lease proof and or picture proof he states that they don't have access to these documents and that was 2 months ago I recently called in November again to ask for the same information and now he is stating he does have it and was supposed to send that information it's been a month now and haven't received anything and now my calls are being forwarded to voicemail and haven't heard anything back from him I have explained to him if he does not have proof of anything I need this taken off my credit. Hopefully he isn't trying to forge my signature because I've heard they have done this before please help me resolve this situation so we Resolve this matter. Thank You

Desired Outcome

I am seeking this information to be removed off of me and my husbands credit completely off of all bureaus immediately.

I have a error on my credit report from a apartment complex in Houston Tx from 2013. It was sent to NCAC in Dallas TX. I then contacted Equifax on Nov 9th,2018 to file a dispute and I also sent all my supporting documents to back up my claim. December 6th,2018 I got a email from Equifax stating my dispute was denied. I then call NCAC to be greeted by Bette *** who was very nasty and rude. She Wouldn't let me get a word in to explain the situation and she told me to call back when I was ready to pay the balance. Been calling NCAC over the last three days and Bette *** is the only person in the office that answers the phone. I asked to speak with a supervisor she told me No. I asked what was the company's fax number to send in my documents to back up my claim, she said it wasn't a fax number and it wasn't no need to fax my documents cause she has my lease agreement in front of her. I have my lease agreement and the paper stating I left the apartment with a zero balance and I was free to go. I dont no what else to do. I cant get a place cause this is on my credit and its a error. I have the documents backing up my claim but NCAC and Bette *** want except them.
Account_Number: XXXXXX

Desired Outcome

Correction to a credit report I want this error removed from my credit and updated with all three of the major credit agency's.

I have disputed the information on my credit report by this agency and asked for them to validate the debt and they refuse.
In October of 2013 my lease ended and I moved from my apartment complex without issue. A year later I pulled my credit report because I wanted to purchase a home and I see N C A C account # ***XXX reporting that I owed my apartment complex $3517.00 in cleaning fee's! I asked them to validate this claim since I know when I left the complex in October of 2013 I did a walk through with the apartment manager and she said everything looked fine or remove the information from my credit report. I have sent letter to N C A C on numerous occasions and I have called XXX-XXX-XXXX and spoken with a Michelle who said that my information had been archived and they will call me back once my information is retrieved. I never heard back from them so I placed another call and was told the exact same thing. I waited another week and called again! This time my call went unanswered and has been unanswered since. I have sent letter requesting they verify this debt and I have yet to receive a response but they continue to report this information to the credit bureaus which has caused me to not qualify for a mortgage. It has been 4 yrs and they refuse to remove the incorrect information and they refuse to verify it. I do NOT owe that money and N C A C are hindering me from pursuing home ownership by not removing the information they have not or can not verify which I thought was against the law.

Desired Outcome

I wish for this agency to stop reporting this account to the credit bureaus stating that I owe this debt.

On August 17,2018.I *** reached out to NCAC about a collection that is a joined account that my husband and I owe money on and have been paying monthly since 2017 for breaking a lease in 2014. I called the office ,which seem like only one person work's their Bette Langley .I asked for records of our monthly payments ,or a letter with a letter head with any information about our bill/ collection . I was told that ,she doesn't have to give me any thing pertain our account with this company. I asked to speak with a supervisor ,she then in returned told me NO!I don't understand that if this is a debt collection company ,why don't we have or cant have any thing in writing ! I found this very odd and never heard of. I am starting to believe that we don't owe as much is being told to me over the phone, which she would only do, but we have been paying this company for over a year now. Every time I call she is the only person who pick up. I cant talk to no one over her head or get a hold of any one else who seem to help .

Desired Outcome

Store Credit We cant some thing in herd copy of our monthly payments and for this company to follow the law. I am starting to believe this is a fake company and she is a fraud .

This place wanted me to pay money that I did not have. And current still don't have the money to pay this expensive. This business is the worse and should be closed down.

Collection Agency placed collection activity on my credit report even though the claim is under dispute.
1) NCAC represented my old apartment complex of over 2 years ago, where I broke my apartment lease due to multiple breaches of the contract/safety concerns and they are claiming a penalty for leaving the lease.

2) I have been going back and forth with the apartment complex VP due to consequential damages of breaching the contract by the landlord.

3) In the meantime, after I advised the NCAC official of the dispute they still placed the matter on my credit file without validating the debt. They apologized for escalating it and it "someone in the office made an error" and shouldn't have reported it on my credit file.

3) They eventually removed the collection activity due to the ongoing dispute with the apartment complex and inaccurate information.

4) Recently without any contact or correspondence NCAC have AGAIN placed this matter in collection. The person in charge of the issue now has washed her hands of saying " I've sent the matter to my manager to deal with".

Desired Outcome

Remove this claim from my credit report for the SECOND time and delete all my information on file.

Tenant below smoke and drifted through ac. I was told when I signed the year lease no one smoked.I complained and my lease was terminated.
Tenant below smoke and drifted through ac. I was told when I signed the year lease no one smoked.I complained and my lease was terminated. I didn't know that this company had collection after me. No one contacted me. I moved into a 55 and up community and I need to move because the rent went up sky high and when I tried to fill out application at a smoke-free apartment I had a bad credit score because of this.

Desired Outcome

Remove the collection. The manager at the apartment who contacted NCAC is no longer there. I was told she was trying to get money from a tenant claiming she didn't pay her rent when she did.
