I saw a add for 1/oz gold coins for $1, from Nationwide Coin & Bullion Reserve This seemed like a very reasonable price since the spot price of gold was right at that price I called them and placed the order, there was a very reasonable charge for shipping and handling ($38.00), which I accepted They did try to sell me some other coins that I declined, but there was no problem, they took the order and a couple of weeks later I received the coins I had no problems I think its the best gold deal out there right now

I received Nationwide Coin & Bullion Reserve's flyer with a mail order, and thought the introductory gold & silver coin offers to be a good value I placed the maximum (coin) order for both the silver & gold coins on Nationwide's website for credit card payment, but the order was not immediately confirmed I was notified instead to expect a phone call, apparently for the order confirmation and billing/shipping info Meanwhile I tried to locate a Revdex.com listing, which is a real challenge since no address is listed on the flyer I called the toll-free number on the flyer and ask for their address and was immediately huon I found their location from *** ***, which turns out to be *** * *** business outlet where they apparently receive mail Revdex.com lists their location down the same street a small distance, but in a suite in an office building plaza Seems like a strange place for a coin shop that claims years of combined experience, and grandiose expertise in coin investment counselling Thinking that this smells of a boiler room scheme, I called the non-toll-free business phone number and explained my difficulty getting a Revdex.com listing without an address and the respondent mumbled the Post & Parcel outlet address, then immediately hung up Revdex.com lists them as A+, but as non-Revdex.com RegisteredRevdex.com shows two positive reviews and one negative review involving triple billing of a credit card I still do not know what to think about trying to complete this apparently good-bargain purchase, but since they just called, I completed the order Percy *** gave me no confirmation number for the order, but can use *** dispute resolution service if things turn sour As expected, I got the hard-sell pitch for additional collectible coin purchases, but that's why they make these introductory sales bargains If this order arrives as promised, I'll have another source for my frequent bullion acquisitions, provided they cease & desist with the hard-sell technique

From: *** *** *** Sent: Sunday, July 26, 11:AMTo: drteamSubject: Re: You have a New Message from Revdex.com Regarding Complaint #***
I have received a refund from the merchatook lomger than expected

Be careful with this company I paid with my American Express card for a $order, and they charged my credit card three times for the same order Obviously a vendor trick to get more resources up front and call it a "mistake."
Now I have to contest the charges with American Express, a real pain in the but in time and effortI tried to call them to complain, but fruitless of courseI got an offer in my BottomLine Personal subscription welcome packet for a pretty good deal on gold coins I intend to let BottomLine Personal know about my experience

The initial complaint requested to plce *** *** on the DO NOT CALL list which was done promptlyIn addition a request to return coin and have credit card charges refundedThis was done promptly and refund has been paid and receivedThis was a portion of the request:
"Here are the charges that are to be removed from *** credit cards:
*** ***: $(posted 8/9/16) and $(posted 8/8/16) for a total of $*** ***: $(posted 8/9/16) and $(posted 8/8/16) for a total of $
Thank you very much for your helpI will consider this matter closed when I see the charges (totaling $6400) cleared from both credit cards."
All requests were met and in a very timely manner
After meeting all request a request is made to refund another purchase which NCBR is willing to doInstructions have been sent to achieve this as well

There is an open [redacted] Case:  Investigate Number [redacted]

I recently bought 10 1/10 oz gold coins from this company at a very good price. I was wary of this purchase because of the less than stellar reviews and low price. Since I used a credit card I felt protected enough to make the purchase.
I was surprised that the order call went well with no bait & switch. My credit card was charged right away though I was told to expect 2-weeks shipping. Still a little nervous, I planned to call & check on the order after two weeks, but the package arrived two weeks to the day after the order was placed. The 10 coins arrived FedEx with signature required and were all 2016 US coins as ordered. Nicely packaged in plastic flip holders. My buying experience was A+.

resolved immediately

The Customer Service Sales Manager spoke with Ms. [redacted] Shepherd and all
have agreed upon on returning some of the purchased coins and along with a full refund on the returned coins. Customer is to return the coins to NCBR wherein the coins will be verified and refund processed.

This is to confirm that we have received the $6400 refund listed below. This is a good start, but I am by no means completely satisfied, as the overall problem still exists.

Nationwide Coin and Bullion Reserve employs “account executives” such as “Larry [redacted]” who use persistent, high-pressure, badgering techniques designed to squeeze as much money as possible out of innocent, gullible elderly people like my 89-yr-old mom, Lyla. This is unconscionable. I am stunned that people like this are allowed to continue to do “business.”

I would like Don [redacted] to offer to allow us to return for full refunds the other $5985 worth of coins that [redacted] was persuaded to buy over the past few months. These coins have never been taken out of their protective plastic cases and are in perfect condition. Please see invoice NCBR-137149 dated 4/8/2016 ($2990.00) and invoice NCBR-141352 dated 7/9/2016 ($2995.00). Please tell me how to proceed with the return and refund.

Don [redacted] states that [redacted] has been placed on the DO NOT CALL list. Again, this is a good start, but I want to hear him state that “Larry [redacted]” specifically will never call, harass, intimidate, or in any other way stalk [redacted] (or anyone else) ever again.
